We Buried £15,000 Thousand Pounds On The110 FarmAdded:
Day 32 and we're still digging the trenches. The clay is so damn hard and collecting. We're digging the best we can with all the power we've got, all the might, but it's taking days. We ran out of food 5 days ago. Water spies are running low. The only thing that's keeping us going is knowing that one day one of these tunnels will make its way to the JB and we're going to get neck.
It's Friday. How on earth did we get to Friday so quickly? Oh my days. What is that about? The week has just gone and so many things have happened. Not enough things have happened. But it's the 110, so it's just the way it goes, I'm afraid. But we are on Friday. It means the weekend's coming. Go on. So happy about that. But what's Friday going to bring on the 110? Well, there's a couple of things that I do know that we've got a gate to sort out.
Yeah, we've got a gate to sort out.
We've got drainage to finish putting in or carry on putting in. Finish would be a lovely thing to say, but I think we're just gonna carry on putting in. And then it's Friday, so there'll probably be a beer after work. Come on. I like that.
But first, I'm going to have me yogurt, mel, and me cup of tea. And then we're going to Oh, we need to take the van out today. We're not in the Varus, so I need to swap some stuff around, put it in the van, and then we'll take the Varus over to the top. No, we'll take the van, Chris, over to the top 60. We'll do a bit there, and then we're waiting for the phone call to go and do gate duty type things.
But I'm going to have this first feed them up. And so we've not used it in weeks and weeks, but now we used it yesterday and we're going to use it again today. The van is getting put into a bit of service. So I need to just organize a few bits cuz I think we're taking bag of rubbish there for some reason.
Nice. We haven't used it for weeks and weeks and weeks and then we used it yesterday and then we used it today as well. So, what we're doing today is I believe we're taking Tom's gate off at some point at his house and Nick is going to be taking it away and going to be doing like re sanding it down, resealing it, repainting it, something like that. I'm not quite sure, but we'll find out in a bit when we see him up there. So, we need to get some tools in the van. I think I got a sheet of plywood in there, which might have been Finley's which he dropped off, but promise I'll replace it, Finn.
And then we'll add the gear in the van.
We can go over to the top 60, do a bit there, and then when Nick comes available, do gate at Tom's, we're going to whiz up there, take the gate off, and then put a temporary board over it.
Something like that, I believe, is the thoughts.
But as we all know with the 110, these things can change and will change probably potentially, maybe someday.
>> So, just getting a few bits and pieces ready. We're going to take the Evolution cordless rail saw cuz that'll be handy for cutting the plywood down. Evolution charger and battery. Got a full battery on there. Got usual Milwaukee stuff and then just getting some more bits of ply.
Got a sheet in there. I think I'm going to need some bars going across and some to fix through into it. Something like that. Anyway, but hopefully I'll put a random assortment of stuff in the van and hopefully we can bodge something together on a temporary semi-permanent kind of basis. Now, I don't think it can hurt to take the big socket set just in case.
Obviously, we got to get the old gates on there that will have been there for quite a while now. Probably not been off since maybe we fed or something like that. So, we'll take this with us and uh grab a few other bits and they're in the van. So, we'll go with that. We might take the clamps as well. Clamps are always handy, aren't they? H right, I'm just going to go get a bottle of water, some apples, got some apple steak, and then we'll go and see Joe on the top 60 and we'll get a bit done there until we're ready for the gates and stuff, I guess. But, oh, Fridays. Oh, back in the van twice in the week, eh? Oh, I used to live in this thing. Really did hours and hours a day all over the place. But now it's just it's having a little rest now, isn't it?
But who knows what's around the corner.
Is it going to stay quiet or is it going to get busy again for the old van? But to be fair, it's been a pretty decent van. I know they get a lot of bad press about them being the uh the old wet bell engine, but you know what you're going to do these days. They're all a bit bad, I think, aren't they? But this one, it's not done too bad. And Joe has been very busy. Look how flat this is getting now on this side.
Look at that. Yes, she's looking rather nice that Joe think we're at the halfway point.
>> Yes. Tom Cassell said he'd be here at 8:00.
>> 8:00 a.m.
>> 8 a.m.
ask.
>> It's half past 9 and I see no Tom. Mind you, I haven't said that. I've only just got here as well. But I was doing other stuff this morning.
Oh, so we're putting more pipe in holes.
I think Joe was saying we're going to we're doing this big one first. Is it Joe? And these ones off it.
>> So, >> sounds like a plan.
>> Just get a bit of stone in this one.
>> Yeah.
She'll fetch a dumper of stone over and then we've got it to tip tickle him up if we need to.
Right. Let's see if we can find the five tunner up. Oh, there we go. Right, five toner going to be stone loading. So, we're going to get a dump a load of stone, get it with the stone. We'll just use that for just blinding the bottom of the trench, keeping all that pipe nice and level. And then that water is just going to land on the field, go straight through the pipe and straight away down to the ditch there. We're gonna have nice dry fields.
>> That's the plan anyway. But it is 110.
So expect variations.
Here we have it. Full dumpo full of the finest limestone.
This is the finest limestone we can source in the crunch. But on the 110 drainage, of course. Spare no expense, said some spare no expense. Let's go.
Hi-ho. Hi-ho the pipe. We go to work. Oh my days.
YouTube. Think going to drag a big black pipe through a field on a Friday morning, eh? Keep me alive, boys and girls. Oh yeah.
Look at this.
Another bit of pipe in a trench. As Snoopy says, it's only 5 10. The day is still young, but don't forget liations later on.
Heat. Heat.
Many hours later. Oh my days, we got this one dug out. But yeah, this clay is so so dense down here. Like further up on the top 60 gets like a more granular sort of sandy clay. This is just your dense, heavy duty, like insanely thick and heavy clay. It's the good stuff.
We've got the good stuff on the pumpkin patch, but not good for draining. But got this corn cleared out. Cleared out now. So, we can pack this through. Stone this up. Got another one over there that I need to go and have a look at digging out now. And uh just going to get on with it, Ty.
Heat. Heat.
Day 32 and we're still digging the trenches. The clay is so damn hard and collecting. We're digging the best we can with all the power we've got, all the might, but it's taking days. We ran out of food five days ago. Water spies are running low. The only thing that's keeping us going is knowing that one day one of these tunnels will make its way to the JB and we're gonna get neck oil.
>> How we doing, mate?
>> All right. Nice to see you again.
>> Yeah. So, what we got to do today then?
>> Well, we're going to take this off the Tom.
>> Yeah. Are we going to >> get it refurbed for him? Strip it right back to B, you know, the basic wood and then recover it.
>> Look at that. Cuz it is looking a little bit tired, isn't it, mate?
>> We're doing this as a tester. Yeah.
>> And then we'll do the others.
>> Look at that.
>> Yeah. Yeah. Cuz they're looking a little bit tired them, aren't they?
>> Are they?
>> Yeah. They should be all right.
>> That's it. Sounds like a plan, mate.
>> Yeah.
>> Oh, nice and busy then.
>> Mad busy.
>> Mad busy. Yeah.
>> That's what you like, isn't it?
>> Yeah. Know it's good. What about you?
Obviously you are.
>> Yeah, we've got a few things on.
>> Look at that. There's the sign. Country gates and barriers. Look at that.
>> Right. So, gates off.
>> All done. Yeah. Take it away now. Sort >> out. No problem.
>> Mint. Cheers for that mate.
>> Thank you. See you later.
>> And we'll see you soon with it. But we need to speak to Tom first about some colors to it.
>> Yeah. Get the colors.
>> Right. I'll pin down on Tom that later.
>> Get this sorted for one.
>> Cheers bud.
>> Right. So Nick's gone and got the gate off now. So I'm just going to got a sheet of plywood in the van. We're just going to cut that out now. So it sort of basically fills this opening here. And it's just going to be a temporary well, it's not even going to be a temporary gate, is it? We're just going to board it off for a wee bit and then we can uh put pegging hole like I think is what they say. So I'm just going to see where we can get this board in and then go from there really.
Heat. Heat.
Heat. Heat.
Okie dokie. So, as you can see, we got a piece of plywood. We're going to cut the plywood down to suit and then we're going to fasten it in from the back there. So, it's going to give us a temporary board over them their gate cuz it's going to go away. Nick's going to make it look really nice and everything.
But, got to give a big shout out to Evolution. with uh call the saw cuz this thing just you know for the money and what's out there and the price point this thing is insanely good very good he brings coffee to keep everything going look at this thank you very much Thomas but um yeah we have the new gate fit or should I say temporary board stroke not gate with the finest finest plywood there I think it matches really well with the sto either side you know I can't understand why you wouldn't just keep that one there to be honest but oh look at But for now, I think that is fixed in place. So, I can collect my tools up and I have to chat with Tom for a moment and then we're going to go back down and see how the drainage situation is going.
I think that might be the first coffee I've had all week. Seems to be followed by the first neck oil of the week.
Someone's stealing the whip.
Who's stealing the Land Rover?
>> Nobody, cuz they wouldn't want it.
>> Ah, good point. Land Rover.
>> It's a good car.
>> It's lovely. I see some shiny bits underneath.
>> Yeah.
>> Yes.
>> Shiny, bro.
>> Look at that. I >> was going to say I think I need to take it down the bogle real quick.
>> Definitely. Yeah. Blend them in.
>> It just stands out too much, doesn't it?
>> Yeah.
>> Yeah. I drove down yesterday just for a laugh. I saw I watched the vlog Alfie Alfie this morning. Have you got the clip that I sent you on text and you put it in your video like now?
>> Yeah.
>> Just an FYI, Chris, this is currently the situation. Your vlog on screen.
>> Are you watching Chris?
>> Chris.
>> Chris.
Chris.
>> Chris.
>> Mate, he loves you. He had your videos on repeat. He was going all the way back to your building like the camera bases.
He was just watching you like mate. He's not even that hooked watching like Teletubbies or something like that. He was He was love. He was absolutely loving it.
>> Well, if Alfie likes it and wants to subscribe >> by you subscribe >> road to 100,000, click the subscribe button.
>> Right, we have completed this task. So, now it is time to head back to the top 60 and see how Joe's getting on and we'll get back in them trenches and uh do some more digging of holes. Eh, happy days. Well, feels like normal service has resumed now back in the Virus. Van's parked up. It's done its job for today.
Kind of used to feel so normal just being in the van all day. Now full on 110 convert and uh it's just yeah is the future. Unless there's a CF Moto in the future that is. But either way, I'll still share it with the FARS.
And we are now back on the super sunny top 60 and Joe has been smashing away.
Look at that. Got the big old out kind of things.
Well, I did believe that Tom was over this way somewhere, but I think he's vanished now.
I'm going to have me apple. Then I'm going to go and pitch back in there with Joe and we'll get a bit more pipe working cuz what else you going to do on a Friday? We a bit of pipe.
Oh, it's never a dull moment, is it? So, we're almost so close to just helping Joe get the pipe working there. And then we just need to move a bit of stuff around on the other side of the 110 tent cuz we've had people like digging holes and stuff like that, which is a bit weird. So, ducking through all these bushes.
So, yeah, we're just going to put a few other bits and bobs up and then we see what's occurring, can't we? Look at that. What a day. I hope your Friday is going as well as this one is, but you definitely get your steps in on the 110. One day I'll turn me watch on so it counts the steps because I reckon I get a fair few in.
Oh, someone's on the top 60. Cameras are great. Just ping so quickly.
And but yeah, I had a few people asking as well about the old Snoopy. What? 2:00. It's saying, "Oh, it's got chef's hat on. Summer's getting cooking."
So, a few people are asking about the uh Snoopy watch. It's just I just found that on the app setting for the Apple Watch. I didn't download or anything like that. At least I don't recall downloading it. Can't imagine I did cuz I'm just not that clever when it comes to things like that. Yes, definitely getting the steps in today. What a day getting stepped in. I think we've got an Andy about somewhere. I've just seen his truck, but I've not seen an Andy yet, so I'm sure we will bump into him at some point. There's an Andy vehicle.
What a day.
This is still lovely and warm though.
Little Tyrus over there. I think I'm on the right path. I'm not really over this side of the 110. A huge amount, so I can get lost, but just try to follow tom tracks. I did say I heard a Thomas and Anando.
You see the two animals meeting in the wild. They'll be talking about maybe one or two things. Food or beverages? Food or beverages? probably beverages. So, we're about to hear a load of whacking and banging on the plish, you reckon?
>> Yeah, he's approaching at speed. Decent run up. You should follow him around in the pickup, Andy. The path will be clear now.
>> No, although you've cleared the path down there now. I've come out I've come across it without bending the bar.
>> Happy days.
>> Yeah. Well, I'm pretty sure you'd make it around there now.
>> I'm pretty sure I wouldn't.
>> The audience would love to see it, would you?
>> Bog.
>> No. in a big dick like yours. Just like >> there's deep bogging. He won't get the digger in there.
Of >> course we would.
>> Yeah. Nothing's impossible, is it?
>> Nothing is impossible.
>> I couldn't.
>> We internet golden. We weren't filming either of us gone and eating the dirt.
>> Well, >> there we go. These things, man, they just wrap around your feet, don't they?
When you're not expecting it.
>> They did. See, Tom got me ages ago when I went down the banking in the woods.
>> Did you? to get it on filled.
>> Just carry the post through, he said.
It's dead easy, said Tom. Just bring it around. I'll go around in the Polaris.
>> Now we're going through the bushes.
Well, that has been a very, very day.
We've got a lot of things done up in the top 60 there. Made a few posts about stuff like that. Dealt with a few boundary issues and stuff. And now we are back over here where Joe has been tirelessly pushing on. And he's been very neglected by me today. But I think we'll do a bit now and then another day on it tomorrow, I think. Wow, he has been busy busy. Oh, we have more to clear out in the drenches.
Just knocking all the bits of snow out that are left in.
We go.
Oh my days, there's so much trenching.
Do you need a hand ragling in your pipe, sir?
It's turned into a twoman pie pitch, has it?
>> Joe's like, I've been here on my own all day. You two bell ends.
>> Yeah, >> we'll just get this out and we'll be good.
>> See, I'm pretty certain when I said to Joe before, so what do you want to do?
And he said, just unroll that pipe and then get yourself to the pub, lad.
You've done really well. I heard then pipe >> pub pipe pub >> pipe pie time pipe pipe pub pint p party at the wine.
>> But I'm just Joe doesn't really give off going to that pub kind of vibe at the minute, does he?
>> He wants it done.
>> Yeah.
>> I kind of want a pine.
>> Has anyone even given him any lunch? Has anyone fed Yeah, boy. We had breakfast this morning.
>> It's 5:00.
>> We had breakfast and I had an apple.
>> You were meant to get us lunch.
>> Day 82. Everybody is tired of doing the drainage field in the 110. Moral is at his little alltime lowest apart from Joe. Joe stoically still laying pipe day in day out. You never changes.
Right. Then we have rolled out some more of the pipe that we need, but we've still got a couple of little junctions there. So, I've got my trusty mat and we're going to knock this corner out there. Get that little bit out of there.
And then this is pretty good. Joe's down there. And then there's another big clump that's right up there that I need to go and do bow with as well. Look at it. Oh, no. It's basically I'm happy to report that one. Now that one is clear.
Joe's looking inquisitively into the trenches. Look at him. The man on a mission. We will not take this bit. But for me now, I have no choice but to go and do battle with this bit over here.
That one, to be fair, wasn't that bad.
But there's something to be said about trying to lift big, heavy clumps of clay and grass out of a really narrow trench that you can't quite fit in.
But this one's clear now. So, we've got another big bit that needs clearing out over there. And then we're doing All right, I'm happy with that. So, I'm going to get out now. We're going to climb our way over there and have a little look at that one.
So, watch a like a cat. Just No, definitely not. I make far too many old man noises these days when I'm moving about.
It's an exciting bed now. Yes, very excited. Time for us to put pipes and holes now. Oh, no. I know. I know.
Right. So, this one, this is bottomed out now up to that point there. So, we're going to pull this pipe in, get in the bottom, get these two little spurs in and some 75. And then we'll stone these up, back fill, and then that big clump that mass that horrible little bit over there. Joking. Then swing the digger over and track over this once we've got pipes and stone in. And then just dig it out cuz Yeah. Don't light.
Don't really like the idea of digging that one out by hand, do I? No, I don't.
Well, we've just got a huge amount of pipe in there now. We've got all these spurs done for that done. Got the main one through there done. Oh, that's good.
So, once they're cleared out and then pipes are in, it's stoning up time. Then that's back on the machine work. So, we like that. A bit dusty there. How's that? Is that better? Yeah. So, that is gone in there now. That's great. Just going to do that spur over there, I think. Don't think there's anything in that one yet. So that's some 75 in that.
Yep. Cleared that out already. Got 75 to go in that and a 75 in that. So get these two in. Then we've done all the way up to that bit there. I think we've done that over there. Oh, we just got a couple little spurs of Joe's putting through there as well. There is light at the end of the tunnel. There is a There's light at the end of the tunnel.
Oh my days.
It is. Oh no. Is it happening again?
We're going to lose the defender.
Not the Land Rover, Joe.
Oh, Uber Tom.
>> Who's that?
>> He's like, come. Who's that?
>> We've got a 110 picnic.
>> 110 picnic on the >> Y.
That's like a daddy went, you know, he wants something.
>> I I gave him a whole box of chicken to walk off with.
>> I've got a feeling he's coming back with an empty box of chicken. Box of lime.
>> Yeah, he's repli.
>> Have some chicken.
>> Ready?
>> Yum.
>> Ready?
nom.
>> I'll just grab one of my one of 15 >> chicken bites.
>> Hello.
>> Has Joe been here?
>> What did you say? Parasites.
>> That was the biggest KFC order of my life.
>> Yeah.
>> And I'm like I'm like, "Oh, I'll just go back and have one more piece of chicken." Gone. every single piece of it. I've got 800 gallons of gravy.
>> There's a bit of a fruit winder left if you want.
>> Yeah, even Alfie spat that up. He He went, "No, thank you."
>> You're checking out Aiman's food.
>> Yeah. If there's anything left, I need to feed my son. You've eaten my son's dinner. Check.
>> I like when I say that, he's stuffing his face.
>> Yeah, he doesn't look like he's missing out much there. Oh, well, after that lovely KFC with a cheeky neck oil tea, Friday by Tom, we're uh kind of getting towards the end of the day now. Joe's just going to run a bit more stone in another big push tomorrow. Tate will try not to get distracted and then he can spend the full day on it. Joe, I'm thinking we'll pretty much have it boxed off tomorrow. Yes, that'll be such an achievement to get that done.
It's been very big jobs to get done.
Plus everything else that goes on with the 110. It's never uh it's never straightforward, is it?
There's never just the one job to do.
But oh my days time we on now.
Super says 5 7. It's time for walkies.
Well, I think my walk is is to walk home.
But as always, it's been a brilliant day. Loved every minute of it. We've got a lot done. a lot of varied things. I hope you enjoyed the vlog. Might be a bit slow. You know, there's nothing majorly exciting going on, is it? But we'll let it up, put it out there, and hope you enjoy it. And thank you all for the likes, subscribes. And as always, thank you very much for all the likes and the subscriptions. It's just ace, you know, to be where I am and doing what I'm doing. Just a dream come true for me. Really, really good. And everybody watching and commenting is just like so supportive. And it really does help, you know, when you're here day in day out just trying to get stuff done. It's Ace. Thank you very much.
Thank you. So, I hope you're enjoying wherever you are, whatever you're doing, and I will see you tomorrow. So, night night to Bye.
