[00:00:00]So, Corsair sent me the new Omega wireless Scuf controller. Now, this Scuf controller is officially licensed with PlayStation, so you can use it with your PlayStation 5 as well as on PC. This controller also has customizable rear and side paddles as well as 5G keys. So, let's go ahead and unbox this bad boy and take a look. So, if you're a fan of FPS game, I'm pretty sure you're going to really thoroughly enjoy this controller. Being able to swap between mouse clicks and regular function of the button is going to be pretty cool. The packaging is very, very nice. Okay, nice and solid. This is my first controller I ever received in something like this. That's pretty cool. All righty. What we got in here? Of course, we got the controller. And what's inside this box? Let's go ahead and check it out. I'm guessing this might be like the dongle, right? So, you can operate this bad boy wirelessly.

[00:00:50]Ooh, these might be Yeah. So, this is a dongle, of course. Let me go ahead and show you that. So, of course, we got a dongle here. Nice, nice, nice. And then I'm guessing these are going to be the side panels you can now remove. I've never had a controller that has side panels before. Oh, what's this? Oh, one dropped. I'm guessing these are covers.

[00:01:06]I'm not sure yet. I need to go ahead and completely unbox the controller, but I'm guessing these are the covers for the back pedals you can swap out and customize. So, that's also nice. Now, for the side panel, is there only one one button for the side panel? Here's something else in here. We got some accessories inside.

[00:01:24]Let's go ahead and take a look. I'm guessing this is going to be a cable for like wired play. You can hook it up to your PC this way. So, this controller is compatible with PS5 as well as PC. So, you can go ahead and hook it up to your PC using this cable right here. And there's some more goodies inside. So, these are the new customizable thumb sticks that that also included. All right, let's go ahead and finally take a look at this controller. Of course, the packaging is always A1 when it comes to Corsair, Elgato, and of course, Scuf. I like the packaging because hold on, hold on, hold on. Before I get to the to the thumbsticks, look at how see-through and clear that is. That is so nice. That is so nice. Look at that bad boy. That thing is so clean. And these are the the five customizable G keys. One and five are empty, so you can go ahead and program it to what you like. And then, of course, number two is going to be volume up and down. Three, you can mute your mic. And of course, the fourth one is going to be the volume up and down as well. So, you can go ahead and change these GQS to whatever you want. That's pretty cool. Let's go ahead and take these off. I like the fact that you can change and customize the height of the thumb sticks. These are the customizable side buttons. So, I'm pretty sure you can map it to whatever you want. They're both on the left and the right side. And then, of course, these are the back buttons. These are the ones you can pop out and change the design of, which is pretty cool. So, you have one, two, three, four. This is also a button right here. And then you can change the triggers to be fast triggers just like mouse clicks. You can change how responsive the triggers are by swapping this over on both sides.

[00:02:56]And now it's going to be instant. You can get instant triggers by swapping it that way, which is pretty easy. No tools required. Now for the bat buttons, these seems way more clicky than the ones to the side. Okay, so now that everything's unboxed, I want to go over a couple things. Now, this thing right here is not for your side button. This is a tournament cable lock. So, how you use this is, of course, you will plug your USBC cable in. Put this to the bottom of your controller. And then what you will have is the cord will go through and route through this front part. If you're, you know, playing on a PC and it's wired, if you're jolting and moving your your controller, you won't accidentally pull out your your cable.

[00:03:31]So, this is a tournament cable lock. And this is not for the side buttons.

[00:03:34]Speaking of side buttons, these are meant to replace the actual side button on your controller. All right.

[00:03:41]Obviously, if you want a more flush experience and you don't want to utilize the side button, you can do so by removing this and adding this to the side. So, that's what this is for. And the same goes for the rear buttons as well. You can do the same thing with with your rear pads using these two attachments. Make everything flush. So, if you don't want to utilize these back buttons, you can swap them out for a more flush look. This face plate on this controller is removable. And the D-pad is as well. Let's go ahead to this bad boy on. They said that this also has RGB and you can change RGB using the Scuf app. And it also said PC only. So probably have to plug it into the PC to have access to those functions. Of course, not to forget that this video is also sponsored by Corsair. [00:04:33]Oh, voila. That was easy. I'm over here being scared for nothing. So, not sure if you can see it here, but you can swap between wireless or Bluetooth or PS5 and PC. So, that's pretty cool. You can pop these bad boy out and swap them out for the three additional thumb sticks that are also included. Now, they also say that the D-pad is also magnetic. So, do I want to test my luck? Not really. I trying to test my luck. Oh, did I break it? I didn't break it. Voila. So, yeah, you can go ahead and pop this bad boy off and customize it as well. And just like that, that bad boy snaps back in. You got your 5G keys, your mute button, volume up, volume down, two empty slots you can customize it however you like.

[00:05:10]Everything here on the back D-pad is fully customizable, so you can customize this thing to your liking, man. Love the design. Love the grips to the side. Love the fact that there's side buttons you can also um utilize. You can swap between mechanical or regular trigger functions, which is pretty cool just by the flip of the switch underneath the triggers. And yeah, man, the design is super super nice.
