Magnelis is a manganese-based coating material for solar mounting structures that offers self-healing properties, allowing post-processing (punching, drilling) without corrosion, unlike traditional HDG (Hot Dip Galvanized) coating which requires 80+ microns thickness for protection. Magnelis typically requires only 20 microns coating thickness due to its self-healing mechanism, where the coating forms a barrier that prevents further rusting and actually heals faster in corrosive environments. Solar mounting structures use Magnelis in thicknesses ranging from 0.9mm to 2.5mm, with groove designs providing additional structural strength. For highly corrosive environments, a combination of HDG and Magnelis is recommended.

Solar Mounting Technology ExplainedAdded:
So friends, now we have come to another stall which deals in structures.
They are one of the leading manufacturers, providers or installers, they are everywhere. And this is the name of Sunrike and right now Pawan ji is with me.
Pawan Sir, as far as I know and can see, brother, you are making something here with Magalis.
So first of all tell us brother what is this concept? So sir, as you told us, Sanak is a structures manufacturing company. They manufacture solar module mounting structures as well as some accessories used in rooftop solar. Like you have your walkway done like you see in McDills we had built and the cable traced. They make all this too. So if you see, we use two products mostly as material. One is aluminum, our 6063 Anadice, and the other is Maglis. So we brought Magnelis, if you see normal HDG, whatever it is, you have to galvanize it, after that you will not be able to do any post processing because whatever you punch a hole of you do, then you will get corrosion but Magnelis has a self healing property due to which we can do processing even after that, like we have taken a magnetist coil and after that we can do all our processing like making a hole, punching, drilling, after doing that over the time a barrier coating is formed around it, so it is proof dew, so which is unlike your HDG which is hot dip galvanization, this is the speciality of the material and if we talk in microns, what is said in hot dip galvanize, that brother, on standard it has to be more than 80 microns and if we see PreGI in the market today, it is 20 microns, it is not even 20 microns, it is said both in front and back. So, if we actually look at it, then the context of having 80 microns is because the corrosion that happens because of all these arrhythmic factors starts degrading.
But because it is magnetic, it has self-filling properties and hence you do n't need that much coating. First thing.
So that is the reason. But if at all you want a higher coating that is also possible. We can also go for higher coating. But for normal regular use on interiors or in C2 environment or C1 environment, there is no need for that much coating.
Ok? So when we have to go into highly environmentally friendly we would suggest you can go with HDG and Magnlist and a combination of both. For example, if you have inserted a column, do it for HDG.
Do the rest for Magilist.
We can tell you that. Yes.
If interior sections how come sir? Like we see that 1.82 2.2, then how do its sections come?
So its sections have become such that you can get it even from 0.9, sir. In fact, even lower you can get, but typically people don't go below 0.9 in solar. So our structures start from 9. 9, 1 mm, 1.2 mm, can go up to 1.6 and can also go up to 2 mm and we have also taken Magnlist up to 2.5. So we get in as usual which normally galvanized or HDG coils come na waise coils aate ho usko humare guslaan ke slit karke we make the roll forming like as per our requirement is like this and you will see this box of McDEs na sir this is our unique product actually more than anything the grooves you are seeing na sir these all these grooves are the strengthening material actually it strengthens if you see this is only one mm thickness ok in fact I can go with 09 also but as on date due to material things I am going for 1 mm thickness.
Ok. It was 1 mm thick. If it had been someone else, he might have bent it too. It would have bent, right? Because of this you know the breeding we did here, deep drying all this. Because of this it is gaining strength.
Ok. And if we talk about rust, it is already over. It is over. Yes yes.
Same, what happens to you now, sir? This is if you see it's a barrier coating. Barrier Coating Is Nothing But Rust Only. Wide rust but after a period of time it will not cover up and prevent the further rusting. This happens. So, ah this is what Magillis said when we talked to him, the more your Karoz environment is, the faster it will heal.
Ok?
It's it's a counter intuit. People will think that if there is a negative environment then there will be no healing. It will not take time. The more you do, the faster it will heal. Because white juice forms quickly and also heals.
Friends, this is a new concept. It is made of manganese and this is also related to coating and on this we will make some videos for you guys on your demand, if you want more information then we will make some dedicated videos for you. In fact, we will take some of these things ourselves also. Let's see how successful this is brother. Thank you sir. Thank you.
