This video documents the ongoing redevelopment of Villa Park's North Stand, showing significant construction progress including the installation of large concrete pillars forming the foundation and structural walls of the new stand, which will extend the stadium's capacity and cover the adjacent car park area. The emergency exit stairways have been completely removed, and footings for the new structure are in place. The construction is expected to accelerate after the final match of the season, with the roof removal being a particularly notable upcoming milestone.

Hello, welcome back to Justin Talks Villa. If you are new around here, get involved in the comment section. Hit the like button and please subscribe to the channel. It is much appreciated. Right, before I start, I was very kindly sent this this week from themed.co.uk.
Something I've been looking at for a while to be honest and they have kindly sent me one and they've also done me a great favor by dropping me a discount code on for any of you lot that want one. You haven't even got to have a villa one. You can get all kinds of different ones as well. If you go to themed.co.uk and you put the code in JTV20, you'll get 20% off all orders. You can change the color of it to all different colors. You can hang it. It's dead easy to hang. Honestly, it's really, really cool. And it's something I wanted to add to my background if I have to do, which I will do over the next few months. more and more content in my kitchen because the bar is getting very packed with my extension that's currently halfway through being done. So, if you want to grab one, as I say, I do all kinds of different ones, not just filler ones, but obviously you want a filler one.
It's themed.co.uk code JTV20 for 20% off all orders. Helps massively with the channel. Big things in the pipeline for next season. So hopefully you can help with a little bit of that. Be great. Thank you very much.
Right, this is why we are here. The drone. So this uh is drone episode number four. Um so I'm just going to get straight into it now. I'm going to add this and you can watch away. Enjoy.
Hello. So we are returning park for the next update of the drone series amount of work that is visible once again. But as I say we are very very close now to the end of the season where I think works will accelerate over the summer. So, I would think probably by the next time I go, we might see quite a bit of change. This was one of the big things I did notice today.
So, slightly inside the stadium. I'm not allowed to go any lower than that, but there's a definite visual change on the inside where the scoreboard uh is going there. Uh, and then this is the opposite side of the halt end where there were, if you remember last time I did it, all of the emergency exit stairways that were halfway through being removed. They have now totally been removed. And it looks like the footings have also gone in for the new structure that will replace them and also become a seated area.
And as we move around to the major development side, which is the new north stand, we can see here on the left hand side, this is probably the biggest change since the last time I did a video, these huge concrete pillars are now in situ, which I think will probably make up either the basement or the structural wall of the new stand. So you can get a decent visualization there of how much wider the stand will be compared to where the current stand is. Not 100% sure what these concrete um structures are for, but they're definitely something to do with uh footings or strength work in the lower section. Maybe they're going to feel be filled with concrete uh to to create the base of the new stand. So, we move around the back of the north stand.
As you can see, there's a huge amount of work being done here. Um, but not again, not a lot visually different from the last time. Obviously, there's still one more match to be played at Villa Park on Friday. So, they're going to have to retain the exit and entrances for the Liverpool game. And then I would imagine all of this that has been used for those games will be removed. And then probably we might see a lot more work going on on this side of the ground as well.
It's absolutely fascinating to sort of see it from a bird's eye view.
Coming around now, giving you a real idea of how deep the new stand's going to be as well. I think it's going to cover quite a bit of that car park that's directly behind the north stand.
Lovely big crane there which they're using to get stuff in and out. that might also potentially be in place ready for the removal of the current north stand roof which will be probably the most interesting video over the next few months when that roof comes off and we have the stand totally exposed and it will be really interesting to see it in all its glory without a roof on. Uh again we come around to this side seeing this new concrete pillars and areas here that they have put in place. Little bit of wind there. Trying to get it stable so we can have a look down again at the footprint. Decent amount of space. It's quite incredible really when you think about it. The amount of room that is wasted on this side of the ground. But obviously when the north stand was built, the um Trinity Road stand as it is now and the Doug Ellis stand as it is now weren't as big as they are. So I would imagine the discrepancy on the side of each of the Northstand areas probably didn't look as bad to be honest. So, and we'll finish off with a slightly more zoomed in version of this work that is currently going on on the left hand side of the North Sand just to finish this video off. Not a lot to show today, but I think it's important probably just to keep ticking over with these videos just to try and make sure we don't miss any of the works that are going on.
Thanks ever so much for watching.
Oh, right. There we go. As I say, not a lot of change today, but I'm going to try and keep the regular uh visits up every couple of three weeks. Um, just to try and keep a record of it as it progresses through each different stage.
So, yeah, not a huge amount of change, but that was interesting to see those concrete structures that are now in place um making up maybe the foundations of new stand. Um, I'm no building expert, but that seems very interesting what's going on there. And as I say, after the Liverpool game, I think we're going to see a real acceleration of works going on uh all over the ground.
Um, so yeah, thanks for watching. Don't forget if you want to grab one of these, you can with a 20% discount if you add the code JTV20.
Just go to themed.co.uk.
There are other teams available, but you only want a filler one, don't you? up the villa. Right, thanks for watching.
I'll speak to you all soon. Uh, up the villa.
