🚨 LIVE - Tracking Severe Weather & Tornadoes in Arkansas🚨Added:
Alrighty. I do apologize, guys. I had a bit of an emergency here. So, uh hopefully you guys can hear me loud and clear. Hang on. Let me double check real quick.
Hang on. Let me let me double check and make sure that we're live here. So, looks like Facebook's up and YouTube is up here, guys. and Roku.
I will get Roku up here in just a little bit here. So, um like so for I do apologize. We had an active situation down here in southwest Arkansas. I had an emergency getting back. Um but I am here. We're here to give you guys tornado warning coverage down here in southwestern Arkansas. So, let me get my bearings straight real quickly here and u we'll go over kind of talk about what's going on. So, right now, as you guys know, we had a uh PDS tornado warning over here in southwestern Arkansas. Um, severe thunderstorm cap producing a significant tornado was located over Nashville. Uh, that was a PDS. Like I said before, I take full responsibility for not being here for that, guys. I apologize. Um, radar indicated rotation here. New tornado warning has been issued. So, let's go ahead and talk to you guys about that.
Um, that is moving east at 20 miles per hour. It's going to go until midnight tonight. Um, that is going to go for the following areas here. It looks like that is going to be uh for northeastern Hempstead, eastern Howard, and western west central Nevada counties until midnight tonight. A severe thunderstorm cap producing a tornado was located near Nashville moving east at 20 miles per hour. Tornado and golf ball size hell with this particular storm here. So, let me double check and make sure that we're good to go. Looks like we're good. Okay, so right now, let's go and kind of talk to you guys about this here. So, area of rotation here is going to be just to the east and southeast of Nashville. This is going to be moving towards Easter. So, anyone that lives in the Belvin's area, the Prescuit area, the Emit area, and also towards Washington, you need to be taking your tornado precautions immediately. Get away from windows. Put as many walls between yourself and the outside as physically possible here.
Okay. So, let's go ahead and kind of talk to you guys about this real quickly here. This is going to be it. And let me double check a couple of things here.
So, right now, let's see here. Let's go ahead and talk about this. There's another area of rotation here. Looks like it's going to be just to the west of the Gordon area, but this is going to be it. And I'm going to go ahead and put a track on this at about 40 mph. So that's going to be the Ozan area, the Belvin's area, EMTT, and also the Prescat area. That's going to go until 11:45 this evening here. So anyone in these areas need to be taking your tornado precautions immediately. Get away from windows. Put as many walls between yourself and the outside as physically possible here. So this is going to be it. This is going to be your area of rotation right in here. Okay. So this is going to continue to move off towards the south and east. So, the Prescuit area, the Caldwell area, any one of these areas need to be taking your tornado precautions now. Get away from windows. Put as many walls between yourself and the outside as physically possible here. So, give me just a second. Let me get all our stuff just kind of lined out here. Give me one second, guys. Okay, so that's going to be it. Let me take this off and we're going to go ahead and kind of zoom down here. Okay, so this is going to be it.
County Road 324, Heimstead 25, and also that's going to be uh Heimstead Hemstead Road 323. There's the community of Ozen.
This is going to be just east and uh southeast of the of Nashville or just to the west of Bellevin here. So, any one of these areas need to be taking your tornado precautions now. Get away from windows, put as many walls between yourself and the outside as physically possible here. So, if you're just now tuning in, like I said before, I do fully apologize, guys. We had an emergency come up. Um, and then we got back. I was able to get back to my home center here. And this is what we've got right now here. So, new tornado warning in place here. That's going to go for anyone that's traveling on Interstate 30 right now. Um, Hope, this is just to your north. But if you know anybody that's in the Prescat area, the EMTT area along Interstate 30 and Hope, they need to be taking their tornado precautions now. Get away from windows.
Put as many walls between yourself and the outside as physically possible here.
So, just double checking everything right now here. Let me double check, make sure we're good. I'm going need to get uh the national service chat up. So, give me just a second here, guys. And we're going to get that up here. So, like I said, I do apologize for the issues, guys. We had a brief inter had a brief interruption here trying to get back thinking everything was kind of calming down and then we had a tornado warning uh right on schedule here. So, let me go to Little Rock real quickly here. So, let me go to Streetport.
Streetport's going to have it. Okay. So, right now, looks like Lar remains a threat. Uh the tornado warning has been cancelled for Howard County. Um they're going to continue it for north central Hemstead County until 11:30 here for the potential seeing considerable hell uh with this storm here. So, they're going to continue the downstream tornado warning for Himstead County. Still no confirmation uh but the storm is rotating via radar. And right now, just looking at everything, looks like everything was uh radar indicated here.
I haven't heard any confirmation of anything touching the ground here. But folks in the area, regardless if this thing touches down or not, you need to be taking your tornado precautions immediately. Get away from windows. Put as many walls between you and the outside as physically possible here. So, just double checking a couple things here, guys. And let me double check here real quickly here. Okay, so right now I'm not really seeing anything, which is great news. not seeing anything on the National Weather Service or National Weather Service Chad or any reports coming in at this current time. I'm going to switch this camera over if you give me just a second here. I'm going switch it over to our friends over here at Henderson State. And there we go here. Okay. So, give me just one second.
That's going to be it. So, right now, we're going have to continue to monitor this here, but this is continue to moving off to the south and east here.
So right now, if you know anyone in these areas, I need to be taking their tornado precautions immediately. Get away from windows. Put as many walls between yourself and the outside as physically possible. Looks like we've got another area of rotation trying to get going near the garden area or just north and west above city. Right now, no tornado warning on it just yet here, but it is warned for the potential of seeing considerable hail. So, what I'm going to do for just a bit here is I'm going turn the radar up. This is right between Little Rock and Streetport's radar here.
So, give me just a bit and this is going to be it. I'm go ahead and kind of take a look at this real fast here. So, this is going to be it right in here. Okay.
So, this is going to be coming out of the Nashville area here moving towards Interstate 30. So, any one of these areas need to be taking your tornado precautions immediately here. So, unfortunately, here's your problem. This is Little Rocks radar and you have Streetport. So, the tornado warning right now is literally riding between these two radars here in southwest Arkansas. So, what does that mean? we're not going to be able to get the best handle on this particular situation here in this particular tornado warning. So, right now, you know, anyone in these areas that need to be taking your tornado precautions immediately, get away from windows, put as many walls between yourself and the outside as physically possible here. So, this is going to be your area of rotation right now. Looks like it's going to be right there in Himstead Road 293. This is going to continue to move off towards the south here. So, this is going to be it. We're going to go ahead and kind of do this about 40 miles per hour here. So the Ozan area 11:16, the Prescuit area 11:45, Caldwell around 12:03 and then Buff City right around 12:08 this morning here. So going to continue to kind of keep an eye on things here.
Right now, fortunately, I have not heard anything of being on the ground, which is great news. The tornado warning for Howard County has been cancelled. So that's some good news there. U right now, just looking at everything, very large shell crossing Interstate 30 between Gum Springs and the Prescuit area. That's going to be this particular storm right here. And we're we actually can go take a look at the hell sizes here coming up here in just a second. If I'm using the right radar. Yes, I am.
So, this is going to be tennis ball size hail getting ready to move into the the city of u of Garden coming right along Interstate 30 right now here. So, not only the tornado threat, but the significant large hail threat with this particular storm. And that's been the trend all evening long is not only that we've been watching the potential of seeing not only tornadoes but also the potential of seeing damaging hail with this particular storm here. So I'm going to track this at about 40 miles per hour. So the Belvin's area, Prescuit, Caldwell, the the Kale area over towards Buff City and Reer. This is going to be pretty much from now all the way until about 12:00 in the morning. And also we're going to go ahead and kind of take a look at this other storm over here.
And this is going to be moving to the southeast here. So right now this is moving I'm going to clock at about 40 miles per hour the city of Gen over towards Chester over towards uh Camden and East Camden right around midnight tonight from now all the way until then here. So we're going to keep continue to keep an eye on it folks. But for right now tornado warning still remains in effect here. I would say not only the tornado threat but significant large hail has been a a issue and that's been a problem all evening long over here in southwestern Arkansas and that continues to be a problem. um at this current point here. Okay, so let's go ahead and go back over to the rotation. And like I mentioned before, with this being right at the Little Rock Shriport's jurisdiction, it's very very tough to get a a good reading on this, guys.
Okay, so you're not going to get the best view, but we're going to have to continue to kind of keep an eye on it here. So that's going to be the city of Gordon. This is the area of rotation here. Mainly significant hail. And then we're going to have to watch the one over here towards Nashville. This one right here, this is going to continue to move off towards the south and east here. So, right now, like I said before, anyone in these areas need to be taking your tornado precautions immediately.
Get away from windows. Put as many walls between yourself and the outside as physically possible here. These are the two supercells. These supercells have tracked all the way from when we were tracking them earlier near Mina all the way down towards southwestern Arkansas here. So, definitely damaging hail will be a possibility here and also the potential of a tornado. um with these storms here. Okay, so um Heidi, thank you so much for reaching out to uh Gert about that rotation. I'm thinking it's midlevel uh rotation here. This is going to produce a significant to not significant tornado, significant large hail uh with this particular storm as it crosses over Interstate 30. But right now, this is just two supercells competing for the exact same environment. For right now, main threat we're going to continue to monitor here for the potential seeing significant hail, but the tornado threat is there.
So right now, community of Washington, the community of Oak Haven, the community of EMTT, north of Hope, Hope, I would go ahead just to be on the safe side, get into your safe spot. Um, anybody that's traveling between Falton, Hope, all the way up, they're going to have to continue to monitor it as well here. So, right now, this is going to be it. The Ozan area, Washington, Oak Haven, you need to be taking your tornado precautions now. Get away from windows. Put as many walls between yourself and the outside as physically possible here. So, just kind of keeping an eye on everything here. Right now, I have not heard any confirmation that this thing is on the ground, which is great news. Uh, but we're going to continue to kind of keep an eye on it here, guys. Okay, so right now, let me double check, see real quickly here.
Okay, so let me see. Right now, no, I haven't heard anything about this being on the ground, which is great news. Only thing I have heard so far, um, is the very large health threat going into um, going across Interstate 30 at this point here. Okay, so right now just going to continue to monitor here like I said for the Oklahoma area just got through experiencing very large hail. This is moving into the community of Garden. Um and this is going to continue to move to the south and east here. So right now very large hail will be your primary threat. However, we're going to have to watch for that isolated tornado threat especially with this particular storm near the Ozane area and just north of Hope at this current time here. Okay, so let me go ahead and kind of zoom down and kind of talk about this real quickly here. Okay, so number one, I want to talk about the hell threat. Hell threat is rather significant. Tennis balls size hail moving into the community of Washington right now and it's going to be moving into the community of Oak Haven and Hope and just to the west of Emtt. We're also going to have to watch this other storm over here near the Garden area which is just to the west of um just west of the area that just went severe warned. That is for considerable damage up to 2 inch in diameter hail and 60 mph winds here. So going to have to continue to monitor it very closely here. as this continues to move off to the east and to the southeast here.
Okay, so right now we're just kind of holding our horses here. Right now I have not heard anything that is on the ground. Let me double check a couple of things. Um that particular storm is outside the area. Okay, so we're going to have to continue to monitor it. Uh but it is in a favorable environment for tornado production. Talking about this storm um that's near the Gertton area and that's just to the west and northwest of the the Chillster area here. So we'll continue to kind of keep an eye on it here. Right now, you've got two supercells right through here. Going to have to watch this one. This is going to be west and north of Hope. And then you got the other one over here near the Garden area here, guys. Okay. So, both of these supercells are moving to the southeast. Quick heads up for folks that are in Hope, the Caldwell area, Camden, Hampton, and then eventually if this continues to move to the southeast, my folks in Colombia and Union County, that's going to be Matnolia, El Dorado, Hampton going to have to watch these two supercells very closely. It is in a favorable environment for the potential of seeing not only significant large hail, but also the potential of tornadoes here as this continues to move out towards the south and east. A quick reminder, we are under a severe thunderstorm watch down here in southwest Arkansas until 6:00 a.m. Uh mainly for this particular cluster of storms that's going to continue to move off um to the south and east here, guys.
Okay, so right now going to continue to monitor here. Let me go ahead and kind of take a look at this and that's going to be it. Okay, so right now that's going to be just to the west of Prescuit or just in the north and west of Hope.
Right now I would say this is a very very significant hail threat. Uh the tornado threat is still there. We're have to continue to monitor it on that southern end right in here. Looks like they just brand a brand new tornado warning. It's just been issued. It's going to go for the same time until midnight tonight. Um that's going to be for that southeastern part here. But other than that, the potential of significant large hail is definitely still on the table uh with this storm here. So right now, this is going to be it near the Washington area. We're going to continue to kind of keep an eye on the situation, but right now, let me double check a couple of things. Uh significant hails likely occur near the Gordon in the Bernie area. Um let's see here. We'll likely experience damaging hail within the next 15 minutes. So right now, other than that, the Hemstead tornado warn storm continues to move to the right. So we're going to be issuing a new tornado warning uh to account for it southern movement. Still no confirmation of a tornado on the ground, but the environment is favorable and the storm is rotating here. Very large hell is accompanying this storm as well here.
So, so far, good news. We have not heard anything about this being on the ground.
Here's a reminder. It is almost midnight. You're not going to see it.
Don't try to go out and spot it. Stay safe. Okay. Number one thing that we urge here is making sure that you are taking those tornado precautions. That's getting in that center lowest point of your home, putting as many walls between yourself and the outside as physically possible here, guys. Okay. So, right now, going to continue to monitor here, but this is going to be it. This is going to be it right here. So, right now just to the west and north northwest of Hope, this is going to continue to move off towards the south and east here towards of our folks near the stamps area here. So, I'm going to do this real quick. That way we can kind of get a a better representation of the counties here. So, give me one second. There we go. All right. So, this is coming out of Howard County. It is now moving into Hempstead County and is going to eventually move towards the Lafayette County and Nevada County areas here. So, we're going have to keep an eye on that.
Also, not taking anything away from this storm up here near the Prescuit area in the Girden area. We're going have to continue to kind of keep an eye on this.
Not to a warn yet, but we're going to watch and see what ends up happening as it continues to move off to the south here near the Reer area here, guys.
Okay, so for right now, biggest thing, two tornado warnings here. This tornado warning is going to expire. This one is going to be moving towards Hope. So, anyone in Hope, they need to be taking your tornado precautions now. Get away from windows, put as many walls between you and the outside as physically possible here, guys. Okay, so let's go ahead and kind of take a look at what's going on and that's going to be it.
Okay, you got two areas that you're going to have to continue to monitor.
The other one is not to warned yet. Um, it is moving into a favorable environment. This one's not to warn, but we're going to have to watch the one over here near Washington in the Ozane area here, guys. Okay, so going to continue to keep an eye on it. Right now, biggest thing is going to be the potential of seeing significant large hail and the potential of a tornado here. Don't try to go out and spot the tornado yourself. Get in the shelter.
Okay. Warn folks. Anybody that's traveling between Falton Hope up towards the Prescuit area up towards Archadadelphia. They need to be taking your tornado precautions immediately.
Especially if you know anyone in Hope.
Blow their phones up, text them, do whatever you got to do to get them into their safe spots. If you know anyone that lives in the Hope area at this current time here right now, another thing we're going to have to continue to monitor, like I mentioned before, and I'm gonna sound like a a broken record talking about this, the potential of significant hell with this storm here.
Quick shout out to our partner over there at Encore um paintless dent repair in Conway for this particular product here. And this is coming into great use tonight talking about the uh the significant hail threat with these storms here. So one is tornado warned over there near Washington Oak Haven and Hope. The other one is not to warn.
However, significant large hail is about to move into the community of Girtton and over towards we uh Helen Springs.
Well, Helen Springs, excuse me, um over there in southwestern Arkansas. And then this will eventually, if we can go ahead and kind of zoom this out and I'm going to put a track on both of these storms, eventually this is going to be a problem for our folks near the Camden area. So, you're going to keep an eye on it. But right now, I'm gonna put I'm gonna do this. This is going to be your track.
I'm gonna go ahead and take it out. All right. Let's go 30 miles per hour here.
Okay. So, Emit, Perry Town, Hope, Buff City, Caldwell over towards Baall, Rostston, Willisville, Lewisville, Stamps, Butner, and Camden. If you know anyone in these areas that need to be taking your tornado precautions immediately, get away from windows. Put as many walls between yourself and the outside as physically possible here.
Cannot stress that enough. Make sure that you're taking your tornado precautions immediately, especially if you know anyone that lives near the Hope area. Further to the north and east, I'd say right now, this particular hail stom, I need you to get away from the windows. That's another thing. Not only just the potential for tornado, but you're going to have to watch for the potential of seeing significant hail.
So, you want to get away from the exterior walls. You want to get away from the windows and put as many walls between yourself and the outside as physically possible here. Okay, so this is going to be it. We're going to go ahead and kind of zoom this down and I'm going to put a track on both of these storms here. So right now the Emit area, Perrytown, Hope, Buff City, Caldwell over towards Ch the Chila area, Willisville, Lewisville, Stamps, Butner, and Camden. You need to be taking your tornado precautions now. Get away from windows. Put as many walls to yourself and the outside as physically possible here. So the supercells this evening have exhibited impressive mid-level rotation when looking at the um the tilt the large overhang of the hail with these storms can often cause side lobbing sign um side lobbing velocity signatures where lowle rotation is being misrepented on the radar. U so right now they don't see anything. Um we're going to have to continue to keep an eye on it here. So yeah I I I apologize for the pronunciation guys. It's it's been a long night. Just give me some give me some grace here. Okay. Um I'm gonna butcher a name or two. It's that's just me. We're all human at the end of the day. I do apologize, guys. Okay. So, right now, the Emit area over towards Perry Town, Hope over towards Willisville, Lewisville, Stamps, and the Camden area. You need to be taking your tornado precautions immediately. Get away from windows. Put as many walls between you and the outside as physically possible here, guys. Okay. So right now, biggest thing is you can see with the Archadadelphia camera, very very very intense lightning uh with these storms here. So the Archadadelphia camera is actually looking south into this particular storm that just crossed over Interstate 30 right now. Just crossed over the Garden area. So this is going to continue to move off towards the south here. And also we're going to have to watch Hope as well. Definitely going to have to watch Hope. Look at the Hellcore that just spiked up with this particular storm. Anybody right now that's on along Interstate 30 between Falton and and Hope that's traveling, you need to find cover immediately here.
This is going to produce some significant hell getting ready to move into downtown Hope. So, they need to be taking your tornado precautions along with getting away from the windows and getting away from the exterior walls at this current time here. Okay. So, right now, these are the only two storms of the state that we're watching. everybody else. Right now, outside of a few severe thunderstorm warnings over here in western Arkansas, this is going to be it. Okay, we're going to have to continue to kind of keep an eye on it here, but for right now, this is primarily going to be down here in southwestern Arkansas. So, anybody that's traveling on Interstate 30 right now between Falton and also up towards the the Hope area, make sure that you're taking your tornado precautions immediately at this current time here.
Okay, so right now, here's some good news. I have not heard anything about this being on the ground. I have not heard anything about this being on the ground or any damage reports. The only thing that I have heard so far is going to be the very large hail potential with this particular storm here. Okay. So, right now, let's see here. Public report of golf ball size hail southwest of the Girden area. Um, let's see. Thunderstorm warn remains in effect till 11:45 for southeastern Pike, northwestern wash counties. Other than that, I think that's pretty much it for right now here. But like I said before, we have not heard any confirmation that this thing's on the ground, which here's a here's story with that. It's about to be midnight. Um, so you don't have a lot of stormchasers in the area. U, you don't have a lot of people that are able to get a good visual of it. So, naturally, not really surprised that we're not seeing any tornado reports right now.
Um, but we're gonna have to continue to keep an eye on it here. Especially for my folks over here near Hope. So, get into your safe spot immediately here.
Get away from windows. Put as many walls between yourself and the outside as possible. Get to the lowest center part of your home immediately at this current time here. Okay. So right now I would say anybody that's going to be near Caldwell area coming into the VA county wash county that's going to be near the Camden area over towards Matnoia Lewisville. I'm watching this cluster looks like this cluster is starting one is one supercell is starting to move to the south and east. The other is starting to move a little bit to the east here just south and west of Spartman. So we're going to keep an eye on it. But if I'm in Camden, if I'm in Hope, the Caldwell area over towards Lewisville, keep an eye on this storm, especially the one over here near Hope that's crossing over Interstate 30 at this current time here. So, if you could bear me for just a little bit, what I could probably do, hopefully, I'm not sure there's a R dot camera that we can use. Give me just a bit.
And it looks like right now there's only one that we could potentially use and it's going to be near the hope area here. And I'm not sure if it's looking it's looking west. So we could potentially use this, but just give me just a second and we're going to see what we can do here. So give me just a bit and we're going to see if we can get this to pull up over here. Okay. So right now, give me just a bit and let me see what I can do real fast. see if I can like do do what we did earlier and see if I can uh get this to pull up over here. So, that's going to be the R dot camera should be coming up here just a second.
Okay. All right. There we go. And what we're going to do here is we're going to see if we can get some traffic cams over here. So, give me just a bit. There's going to be one right in here. It's looking west. So, see if we can do this real fast here. and I will I will do this. So, what you're looking at right now, this is going to be near Hope. So, I'm going to leave this up so that way we can get a a good view on what we're looking at here. So, right now, this is looking to the west. It's not the best view in the world. Um, but it it will do it will kind of give us an idea of what we're looking at here. So, number one thing is you're not going to see it.
Even if you try to go see it, you're not going to see this tornado here, guys. So you need to be taking your tornado precautions immediately here. Another thing we have now a destructive tag with this particular storm here. This one is going to be moving towards Camden. If I if I know anybody in Camden right now, I know there's no ongoing alerts in this area here. I'm getting them into shelter immediately here. If you know anyone in these areas, get them into their safe spots immediately. Get away from windows and get away from those exterior walls at this current time here. Okay. So, right now outside of let me see here.
Okay, so that was earlier on. That was over there near Glenwood. So, we've got that. If if you guys have any reports coming in, let me double check something real quick. Okay.
All right. Hang on. Give me one second here. I think that's for right now. I'm not seeing anything.
So, let me double check a couple things here. Okay. All right. Right now, we're doing good. I have not heard anything outside of earlier, which is great news. I'm not hearing anything in terms of touchdowns or anything like that, which that's all that's that's pretty much always what we want to hear whenever we're dealing with these tornado warnings, guys. Um, is that you don't want a situation where you're hearing about tornadoes on the ground or whatnot. So right now they're going to continue the tornado warning until midnight uh for east central Hemstead County and west central Nevada County. Um warning has been cancelled for Heimstead County as well. Um but other than that right now we're just kind of holding our horses here. So let me double check a couple of things.
Looks like we're good. Heidi, do me a favor. If you hear anything, let me know. Um but for right now, we're right now there has not been any reports of tornadoes, which is great news. That's what we want to hear. That does not mean don't seek shelter. If you're in Hope, Hope, I need you to take your tornado precautions. Okay? If you know anybody right now between Bearden, the Camden area over towards the the Caldwell area over towards Hope, give them a heads up.
Okay? Tell them not only the potential of seeing damaging winds and also the potential of seeing isolated tornadoes, but the significant hell threat. Camden, this is going to be coming at you a little bit after midnight. So, you've got time. If you know anybody in Camden, you've got time to wake them up, text them, tell them what's going on. This is a nasty hellcore getting ready to move out of Clark County going into Washaw County, guys. So, um if you know anybody downstream from there, you might want to give them a heads up. And then also my folks in Hope, this is also another nasty hellcore that's coming out of Hempstead County. Um that's going to be moving along Interstate 30 here. So, we're going to have to continue to kind of keep an eye on this, but for right now, this is pretty much going to be it.
Okay, this is going to be it. This is going to be your two hell hell potentials here and also the potential of seeing a tornado with this particular storm here. So, I'm going to use I think I'm going to stay with Streetport's radar because this is moving out of Little Rock's radar here. So, we're starting to get a better representation of what these storms are capable of producing. And right now, from what I've seen, let me tilt the radar up a little bit. It's a bad idea. Hang on. Okay.
Right now, I'm seeing two areas of rotation. This one's more midlevel. So, this one's mainly going to produce the potential seeing significant large hail.
The other one over here, if we can get this to be surfacebased, um, then we will have an issue here with this particular storm. So, what I'm doing right now, I'm leaving the track up. So, I'm going to put the track right here so that way you guys kind of see where this particular storm is going.
But, if I'm in hope, if y'all know anybody, honestly, if you know anybody that's along Interstate 30 right now, they need to be taking your tornado precautions immediately here. The tornado warning is going to go until midnight tonight. That's going to go for the following. That's going to go for southeastern Hemstead County. Severe thundtor cape for producing a tornado was located near Washington or 9 miles northwest of hope moving southeast at 20 miles per hour. Tornado and 2 in in diameter hell in that with that particular storm. Hope Washington and also Oak Haven um will be the primary threats with these particular storms here. Okay, so going to continue to keep an eye on it. Right now nothing via the National Weather Service, which is great news. We're just kind of holding our own u right now with this particular tornado warning here. So other than that right now, what I can do is give you guys a broad view on what's going on. Just kind of touching base. Everybody else outside of this area is good to go. Okay? If you're in Little Rock right now, you're good. If you're in Russellville, you're good. If you're watching this in eastern northeastern Arkansas, you're good to go. Flooding threat will start to become an issue, by the way, for my folks in Scott, over towards Montgomery, over towards Clark, Pike, and Hot Springs, and Garland counties, guys. Okay, this is going to continue to be an issue throughout the overnight hours here with these training thunderstorms. So, if you know anyone that's out camping, give them a heads up. I know a lot of people don't take flooding seriously, but when people are out camping and whatnot, you need to give them a heads up, guys.
Okay, so I want to kind of touch base with this before we go back um to the tornado warning here. So, folks that that are camping out here in southwest Arkansas, give them a heads up. Tell them what's going on here. Okay, so right now we're watching two of these storms here. One is about to literally c cross over downtown hope. The only R do we have down there is watching this storm from the west. And right now I'm not seeing any indication that this thing is going to produce a significant tornado. From what I've seen, the conditions are favorable, but for right now, I have not seen anything. And let me double check this real quick. I have not heard anything about this being on the ground or anything like that. The only report I have gotten so far is the half-dollar size sale in Waldron. That's in western Arkansas. Other than that, I have not heard anything here. So, the tornado warning continues till midnight for southeastern Hemstead County. Other than that, I think that is uh pretty much it for right now here, guys. This is pretty much what we've got dealing with at Scar Point. And also like Heidi said, no no no power outages in this area either. So overall good news out of a bad news situation that we, you know, we're watching these two tornado warnings right now. I haven't heard anything. Okay, we haven't got any official tornado tornadoes on the ground. Um, we're still waiting to see if we get any hell reports out of this, but right now this is mainly going to be produce the potential of seeing significant hail. Now, I will say this.
Over the last couple of scans, it looks like those health cores are starting to kind of come down a little bit, which is great news. Let's take a look at this real quickly here. Okay, so right now, this is Cape Producing. Looks like that's going to be the potential. Yeah, baseball size hell possible with this particular storm. This was earlier on right before it got into Hope here. So, significant hell with these storms here.
And that's going to be the number one story tonight. It's not going to be um you know a massive tornado outbreak, but the significant hell the significant hell with these storms down here in southwest Arkansas, that's going to be um the biggest issue here, guys. So, give me a second here. I just realized my audio is probably not the best. Let's see if that changes. I apologize for that, guys. I I just looked down for a second and I I saw it in the green here and I just turned the microphone back up. So hopefully that's the um that is the um the solution to that. I won't even look at the comments. I just saw the the the volume was super down on it.
So hopefully you guys can hear me better. Um like I said before, it's just been it's literally been a rough night over pretty much. So uh I apologize for any issues that we've had here, guys.
Okay, so right now going to continue to kind of keep an eye on it here, but for right now, we're going to continue to watch both of these tornado warn storms here near the Washington area and just west and northwest of Hope. So, right now, you need to take your tornado precautions immediately. Get away from windows, put as many walls between yourself and the outside as physically possible here, guys. Okay, so this is going to be it right in here. Okay, so going to continue to kind of keep an eye on it here. And this is going to be the other storms over here that's going to be coming out from the uh from Clark County going into Washaw County at this current time here. So, um let's see.
Stacy Willis just sent this in. It's going to be from Emit.
So, let's see. I'm going to take a look at the video real quick. Appreciate Derek for uh giving me this video. So, right now, from what I've seen, looks like it's just a wall cloud from what I've seen. But the problem is at night, you're so relying on those lightning strikes.
Right now, I'm not seeing any defined tornado, but I can definitely see the wall cloud. I can definitely see the wall cloud with that here. And I'll get that up once this tornado warning is dropped off the board here. So, appreciate you Stacy Willis for getting this in. And like I said before, guys, I appreciate y'all for coming in. Um I apologize for earlier, you know, I take pride in trying to get into um every tornado warning that we can get. And um we had an emergency earlier on. I couldn't get on as fast as I could. So um I do apologize for that here, guys.
But what matters is um I am here now and um I am here to keep you guys updated on what's going on here. So the Washington area hope that's going to be along Interstate 30. biggest thing right now, take your tornado precautions. If you got to blow somebody's phone up at midnight, you just got to do it. If you know anyone in the Hope area here, also I think I've got Chandler. Um he is in the Hope area as well. He's going to let me know what's going on. Um but other than that, right now, we're just kind of holding our own on um on what's going on here. Okay, so right now, let's see. The radar trend suggests that baseball size hell is possible for the storm um that is currently tornado warn and headed towards the hope. So right now pretty much that's all that's it. That's that's all I've seen so far is uh is the hell reports with this guys. I have not seen anything that suggests that this thing is um producing an an ongoing tornado right now which is what we want to hear.
That's the number one thing we want to hear that. We don't want to hear about, you know, a tornado taking somebody's house down or something like that. Um, we want to hear that we're not getting any report to that right now here. Okay.
So, destructive tag with this storm. I think that's probably going to end up going away. Looks like these hell sizes are starting to drop off, too. Um, this one over here was capable producing tennis ball size hell, and now it's dropped off here. And you can see the destructive tag is now gone uh with that particular storm here. So, there's some good news here that these storms are starting to lose that significant hail as they move further to the south and east here. But definitely going to be a helltorm coming into Hope here.
Regardless of this thing produces a tornado or not, this is going to produce some significant hell getting it getting ready to move into the Oak Haven area and also Hope here. So, tennis ball size hail with this storm here. As a quick reminder, make sure that you check out Encore Paintless Dent Repair up here in Conway if you have any hail damage or anything like that from these storms this evening down here in Southwest Arkansas. So, right now, we're going to continue to kind of keep an eye on it here. Oak Haven, Hope, Perry Town, you need to be taking your tornado precautions immediately. Get away from windows, put as many walls between you and the outside as possible, and get to the lowest level of your home immediately at this current time here.
Okay. Also, like said before, gonna continue to kind of keep an eye on these storms over here. And this is going to be the potential this moving into the Camden area. So, Camden, East Camden.
I'm not even going to try to pronounce um these other towns here, guys, cuz I I don't want to I don't want to be unprofessional on the live stream here.
So, um Camden and East Camden here.
That's going to be the storm that we're going to have to keep an eye on moving out from the north and west here. So right now, fortunately, this storm did produce tennis ball size cell coming out from Interstate 30. Looks like it's now gone from tennis ball size cell to golf ball size. So if that makes a difference, um then you take that as you will here. But other than that, I think that is uh pretty much it right now here. You've got tennis ball size getting ready to move um into the the city of hope right now here. So other than that, I think that is uh pretty much it here.
So seeing seeing a chaser report trees and power lines down along 278 near Washington. So that was earlier on when that storm was producing uh baseballsiz hail. And you know the other part about this here, you know, whenever we have these hail storms here, you can take a look. Let's take a look when it was back near the Washington area. You see that dark purple right in there? Baseball.
That was baseball size hell that just moved through just south of the community of Washington or just to the west of Oak Haven here. I'm pretty sure um those power outages are going to start to skyrocket over here in southwest Arkansas. And it's been a long night uh for our folks down here. It's been a very long and stormy night down here in Southwest Arkansas. Um we get a little bit of a break, a little bit of reprieve tomorrow and then unfortunately we got more severe weather coming as we move into Monday into your Tuesday time frame here. So we'll keep an eye on it for you guys. So right now tornado warning still remains in effect until midnight tonight here. So other than that, uh right now, let me double check a couple things. Local storm report uh train spotters in the area here reported uh up to quarter size hail in the Nashville area. Right now, let's see here. As these storms push further to the south, they will begin to enter a more untapped environment. Lapse rates continue to support very large hell in southern Arkansas. We have received numerous reports of baseballsiz hail and a lot of damage to windows and roofs with this cluster already. More of the same here will likely continue as these storms continue down here in southern Arkansas. I want to make a quick reminder if you do see roof damage or hell damage down here in South Arkansas.
Rice Roofing and Construction is our friends down here um that you can get in contact with if you have any issues down there in southern Arkansas with these these hail storms that are going to be moving in later on this evening into tonight. So, for right now, tornado warnings, storm rains in effect along Interstate 30. We're going to kind just kind of holding our own here. I'm going to take a look at these storms up here further to the north and west. This one up here mainly once again that's been the trend all evening. hell, baseball, softball size hail. That's been the that's been the trend all evening along with these storms. It hasn't really been the ongoing significant tornado threat outside of earlier near the Nashville area. It's been these significant large health threats uh with these storms here tonight. So, that's been the number one deal with these storms um as it continues to move off towards the south and east here. So, I'm curious to see what they're going to do with this tornado warning. Let's go back to your velocity real quick. I see a rotation that's clear as dank right over Washington. I see it. Uh but right now from what I have seen it looks like it is midle rotation and there's a difference between mid-level and lowle.
So let me double check a couple of things here real fast. Let's go over here.
Okay, right now let's go to your mid levels. Okay, so this is definitely showing some rotation especially on that southern end. Other than that, I think that is uh that's pretty much it for at least right now from what I've seen. Let me double check a couple of things here.
Okay, so let me see here. Okay, so from the Walden area, it looks like we're good to go from what I've seen so far.
Okay.
All right. So, we're going to continue to monitor this very closely here. This is going to cross over Interstate 30 and then we're going to have to watch this as well here. So near near coming into the the Camden area here, coming into northwestern Wash County, and then we're going to have to watch the Hempstead County as well here. So other than that right now, we're going to continue to kind of keep an eye on the situation here. So this is it right in here. Okay, so both of these storms moving to the south and east like like I just mentioned, this is moving into an untapped environment down here in southern and southeastern in southwestern Arkansas, excuse me. This should be it. Once this clears through, that should put an end um to what has been a man a very long evening of severe weather here across the state of Arkansas. So, let me go ahead and do this. That's your main roads. Let me put on your your secondary roads real quick. And we're going to take a look at these storms down here in southwestern Arkansas. Okay, so this is now coming into downtown Hope. Um things are going to get loud there. you're going to experience the potential of seeing um significant hail and we're going to watch for that 203 head. But for right now, from what I've seen, I'm not seeing any defined area of rotation with this.
What we could do real quick though is we could take a look at our rotation strength. And right now, from what I have seen, looks like if there were to be an area, we'll have to keep an eye just to the west of Hope. But right now, I'm not seeing any kind of defined area of uh of rotation or anything producing a tornado. Definitely not seeing with this storm. This storm is definitely a significant hail producer. This one over here is starting to show a little bit more rotation here just to the west of Hope, but right now I'm not really seeing anything like definite that's going to produce a um a significant tornado in the area here. So, I'm going to turn off the roadways just a bit.
I'll turn this back on and we can kind of take a look here. So, I'm going to put a track once again for both of these storms here. Okay, so right now it's going to be right here, right through here. Okay, let's go ahead and kind of take a look. It's going to be moving southeast at about 30 miles per hour.
So, the Rosson area, Willisville, Willisville, excuse me, Lewisville, Stamps over towards Camden, Waldo, East Camden, the Stevens area, Matnolia over towards Mount Mount Holly, and also smack over. If you know anyone in these areas, they need to be taking your tornado precautions and also get away from windows at this point here because like I said, these storms are moving into a more favorable environment. Um, so we're gonna have to kind of continue to kind of keep an eye on that as it moves off towards the south and east here. Okay, so power outages are starting to climb up a little bit. Let's see here. New mezo scale discussion for the severe thunderstorm watch. Other than that, I'm not really seeing anything right now, which is good news. Um, let me go over the street report real quickly here. And yeah, I'm I'm not seeing anything. I haven't heard any reports.
Only reports I've heard so far is the hell the hell reports. Um these these cells have a history of producing hell sizes up almost three inches in diameter. Folks, that will that will break windows. That will cause car damage. If you have it go through a window, it could um it can cause some significant issues across the area here.
Okay. So, while these storms are likely elevated, should they be able to continue southward into warmer air in the vicinity of more batch surface flow, a tornado could be possible with these storms. Uh, Cam got it seems to suggest that eventually these storms will cluster together and move across northern Louisiana through the morning.
This may lead to a shift in potential for significant, excuse me, not significant, strong to severe wind.
Given the stability of the boundary layer, winds may not make it to the surface, keeping the threat isolated at this current point. So, we're just kind of just going to hang on a little longer. It's going to get rough for a little bit down here in Southwest Arkansas, but we got it covered. It's not our first rodeo. Won't be our last um down here. Okay. So, right now, looks like we've got golf ball size hell moving into Hope. And then we have this other storm here which is significantly weakened. Um at one point, this storm was producing baseball size hail. It's now gone down to quarter size hell here.
So, we're finally getting to a point where these storms are starting to weaken and becoming more kind of into a cluster, which means your damaging wind threats definitely going to start to increase across the area here. Okay, so um Chandler say he is in Perry Town.
Looks like he's got a hell report. Um it looks like that's peace size hell um right now here. So, he's going to let me know what he sees with that particular storm here. Let's zoom this down. And like I said, I'm not taking anything away from this storm moving in into the wash county. I want to kind of zoom into the one that's moving into hope because this one is tow warned right now.
Biggest threat is going to be for significant help. Okay. The tornado threat with this and I know there's a tornado warning. I need you guys to kind of stay where you are. Hunker down. Wait till the tornado warning has been has passed through your area here. Okay. So, for right now, from what I have seen, I have not seen any evidence that this tornado warning is going to get extended. I think what they're going to end up doing is putting a severe thunderstorm warning to pause with this particular storm, but other than that, I have not seen any residual evidence that this thing is going to produce um a tornado here. So, let me let me inquire about that real quick. Give me one sec.
Let me inquire about that real fast.
So, that's going to be street port.
Okay. All right.
Okay. All right. And I apologize for the loud keyboard, guys. I uh I type pretty fast here. So, I'm trying to see what they're going to end up doing with this uh with this particular tornado warning here. Right now, from what I have seen, it's likely going to get replaced with a severe thunderstorm warning to pause and it's going to have that hell threat here. So, these are the cities. I'm going to leave this up. I'm going to zoom this out and I'm going to go back to the normal way um that we would look at a radar here. So, let me do this.
Okay. And this is going to be it. Okay.
So, there's that's going to be your track. Um, let me double check a couple of things here. Okay. So, Kim's back.
Okay. So, um, let's see. Yes, we're about to issue a downstream warning on the current tornado warn storm here. So, now this one's probably going to go for Heimstead in northern Lafayette counties and southwest Nevada County. I'd assume it'll probably be until uh 12:30 or 12:45 here. uh with this particular storm here. Okay, so thank you so much and we're going to go ahead and kind of keep an eye on here.
Okay, so there's going to be a downstream tornado warning with this storm. Um it's going to go for our folks over here in Lafayette County. So the Louisville area, the Stamps area over towards Bod Ba call, excuse me. You need to be taking your tornado precautions immediately. A tornado warning is about to get issued for this particular area.
So we're just waiting on National Weather Service to see what they're going to end up doing here. But yes, they do plan on putting out an extension of this tornado warning here. It's probably going to more like going to go for southwestern Nevada County. Probably going to include northwestern Columbia County as well and also northeastern Lafayette County. Um down here you can take a look at the ARDOT camera down here. This is in Hope by the way. Very very very loud stormy evening going through that storm going through the Hope area at this point. So let me double check a couple of things. Okay, so right now, let's see here. Yeah, so that's what I thought. Tornado warning's just been issued. Uh the tornado warning is going to go until 12:45, which I expected. So storm um near Hope moving southeast at 25 miles per hour here. So a brand new tornado warning's been issued. Radar indicated rotation with this particular storm. 2 in in diameter hell, mainly going to go for Hope, Perry Town, the Willisville area over towards the Sutton and also the Falcon area. So, move into the interior room on the lowest floor of a of a well-built building away from windows. If you are outdoors in a mobile home or in a vehicle, move into the closest substantial shelter at this current point. Tornadoes are difficult to observe at night. Take cover now. I want to make that clear. Take cover now. If you know anyone in these areas here, this tornado warning is going to get dropped at midnight. A new one has just been issued. Looks like they just dropped it. So, a new one is going to get issued here that's going to go until 12:45 this morning. The other one over here, this one has been replaced with a broad severe thunderstorm warning that's going to go uh for the Camden area here.
So, this one has lost its destructive tag. It's lost its considerable tag and it's just now a normal severe thunderstorm warning going into this area here. So, right now, this is going to be it near the Hope area, near the um the Bodkaw area, the Willisville area.
We're going to continue to kind of keep an eye on here. And I apologize if I'm butchering the names, guys. Give me a break, okay? It's been a long night.
It's It's going to happen. I'm just I'm just letting you know it's going to happen, guys. Okay, so right now, this is going to be right over Hope. This is going to be moving to the southeast here. So, now that this one no longer has a significant hell threat, we're going to go ahead and kind of focus on the tornado warning here. Okay, so right through here, let's go ahead and kind of take a look at it here. That's going to be it. All right. All right. And I'm going to go ahead and kind of take it all the way down towards Matnoya here at about 40 mph. So, it's going to move over Waldo, McNeel area, and also Magnolia. So, Matnolia, you're watching this right now. You've got time. This is roughly about about 50 minutes away from being in Matnolia down there in Columbia County. You've got time. Get people in the shelter. Wake them up. I know they'll probably not going to be in the best mood with you waking them up at midnight with something that's not even worn down there yet. Um, but tell them, hey, there's a tornado warn storm just to the west and northwest of the Matnolia area here, and it's moving southeast at this current point. So, we're going to have to continue to kind of keep an eye on it here. But for right now, this is going to be it right here.
So, tornado warning still continues.
This is moving literally southeast towards literally a projected path would take it right into the Waldo area and right into Magnolia. So, anyone in these areas need to be taking your tornado precautions immediately at this current time here. Okay. So, right now, I think I can focus on just this storm here.
There's one storm up here. That's Chalkaw. Okay. So, that's going to be this one right over here. That's to pause. Okay. So, that's in southeastern uh Oklahoma here. So, I'm not too concerned about that. This is this is where our focus can be right now here.
So, this is what we're going to focus on. Uh folks that are coming in kind of watching this right now here. The biggest thing I want to stress is where there's tornado warnings, this is where we're watching. Okay? We can't answer any other particular questions when there's a tornado warning here. This is where our focus is going to be right now. So, Oak Haven Hope over towards the um just to the north of Lewisville and north of Stamps. You need to be taking your tornado precautions immediately.
Get away from windows. Put as many walls to yourself and the outside as physically possible here, guys. Okay, so right now, let's take a look at this particular storm here. Okay, so looks like we're starting to get some rotation on the back end of this that's starting to get going. We have to keep an eye on that. Let's see what Let's see how this trends um later on here. Let's go to your lowest level and let's see what it's going to end up doing. Looks like it's not going to pull up on here. So, I'll just do this. Oh, never mind. There we go. It's going to be right here. That's where your lowle rotation is. literally just passed over Hope here. So, what you're looking at on the camera below, by the way, that is Hope. That is downtown Hope. That's the R dot camera along Interstate 30 looking into that storm that just pushed through the area. Obviously, we have not received any reports of tornadoes with this storm. So, that's good news. The bad news is significant hail still continues to be an issue. We can take a look at that real quick. And right now, this one has died off pretty significantly here. Looks like it's now starting to form um more into a cluster, which is great news. Uh but things are still going to get loud for our folks over here in Washaw County and which will eventually include Camden. But right over here where the tornado warning is, looks like this is still capable producing golf ball size as hell um with this particular storm here.
Okay, so right now this is west and northwest of the Willisville area. This is well to the northwest of Magnolia.
So, if I'm watching this right now and I'm in Matnolia, I'm I'm getting ready.
I I'm I'm getting myself ready saying, "Hey, this is what we're looking at. You need to be taking your tornado precautions immediately at this current point here." Okay, so other than that, I think that's uh that's pretty much it from what I've seen so far here. Okay, so let me look real quickly here from what I've seen so far.
Okay, so Chandler sending me some hell reports here. Looks like that's about tennis ball size hell. Yeah, u that's near hope here. So that pretty much matches up to what we were looking at earlier on. Looks like your hell size is coming down to golf ball size, but golf ball, tennis ball, still still significant hell the way you look at it.
So uh but for right now, biggest thing is know anyone in these areas that need to be taking your tornado precautions immediately at this point. So what I'm going to do quick quick second, there's your track. Okay, for those that are watching trying to figure out where this is going, there's your track and that's going to be your cities here. So, what I'm going to do for just a bit is this. I have not seen anything else other than that. I'm just kind of scrolling through right now. Kind of playing catchup cuz had the emergency earlier. Left the office thinking everything was great. Was going to come back here. originally had the plan to come back to the home office and cover overnight um to kind of see what was going on here and me thinking, hey, things were kind of calming down and we've got two other severe threats to get ready for. Um and then we had an emergency and then um I decided to come back here. So, like for folks that are in the comments, I'm not even reading the comments. If y'all are upset with this, I understand. Um but it happens.
Um we're all human at the end of the day. It happens. So, we're here now.
We're here to keep you guys updated on what's going on, but what I've seen so far, I have not received any other reports on what's going on here. Okay, so let me see here. Other than that, I think so far, I think that's pretty much it from what I've seen here. Okay, so let's see. Special weather statement with that. That's when the storm back off towards north and west.
Yeah, I haven't seen anything so far um in terms of reports, which is great news. Um I'm just kind of echoing what I was talking about before about not hearing anything about being on the ground or whatnot, which is great news.
They kept the tornado warning as a precaution. Um but for right now, we're going to treat this as if it's on the ground. Okay, it's radar indicated rotations there for a reason. Um you need to be taking your tornado precautions immediately here. So, let's go and kind of take a look real fast here. storm to the northeast. By the way, for our folks in Camden, outside of it getting loud, it should mainly just be a large hail threat with this and even a hell threat is starting to come down rather significantly with that storm. This one over here near Hope is starting to get a little more interesting. As you can see, there's your classic hook shape right in here. Okay, so we're going to see what ends up happening. Both of these storms are fighting for the exact same environment. If this produces an outflow boundary, then this could go toward this could produce a a tornado here. So, I got to keep an eye on it. It's going to drop to the southeast. So, my folks in Waldo, my folks in northeastern Lafayette County and Columbia County, I'm watching this storm very, very, very closely here, guys. So, other than that, I'm not seeing any reports right now here. So, give me a second.
Okay. Other than that, okay, I'm just trying to and like I said for I apologize for going quiet, guys.
I'm just looking and seeing if there's any other reports here so far. I'm kind of catching up from earlier right now.
Okay.
So far, I haven't seen anything.
I'm going double check street port real quick. And there's no reports coming in right now here, which here's the deal.
It's midnight. You're not going to get a ton of reports um out there here. So, I'm kind of keeping an eye on everything. Let me see here right now.
I haven't seen anything so far.
Looks like we're good. Okay. So, I'm just c I was catching up from earlier about what over what happened over there in Nashville. And I know it was PBS at one point, but I'm not seeing anywhere in here that this thing would produce a tornado over there. So, I know it went PDS to warn for a little bit, but I'm not seeing anything that confirmed definitely that this thing was on the ground. So, other than that, I double check a couple of things real fast here. Other than that, I'm not really seeing anything here. Um, I did talk about the flooding threat over there in in Southwest Arkansas, folks that are are camping right now. So, other than that, I think that's pretty much it for the moment. Um, I haven't seen any reports of this thing being on the ground, which is great news. Uh, what I am going to do here is, if you give me just a bit, I'm going to switch over from this and I am going to pull up the Elderorado camera here and we're going to look to the north and west. So, bear me for just a bit. I'm going to have to uh I'm going to have to do this.
Okay.
So, other than that, let's see.
Let off to the northwest here.
Okay. So, right now, that's going to be it right in there.
So, you can see the lightning with this particular storm. Even that far away from the Elo area, that's crazy. If it was during the day, you would see a beautiful kind of structure here. But, um, you could see it on the Elo camera here. It's going to be coming up here in just a second here. So, I think it was PDS for hell. Um, I was monitoring, never saw anything about it being on the ground. Okay. So, it was PDS for hell.
Uh because I saw a particularly dangerous situation. I was wondering um I was wondering what was going on with that here. So I guess it was uh yeah I guess it was PDS for hell earlier on here. So I still feel bad for missing it but it is it's it's all good here. So let me look real quick.
Okay. So that was earlier on.
Okay, let me see here. I think it was uh Nope. Nope. It was for tour. That's what I thought. I was looking at this. Yeah, so it was radar uh radar indicated rotation. It was damaging for a damaging tornado. It was PDS earlier. So yeah, it was it was for it was for the tornado.
Um the tornado damage struck considerable here. So right now I'm just kind of playing catch-up here for what happened earlier on. I have not heard anything about it being on the ground or any damage, which is great news. Um, normally when you have a situation like that, it's kind of lapsed. Um, but so far I have not heard anything at being on the ground, which is some some great news. Here's some bad news here. This is regarding this storm that literally just passed over Hope. Take a look at your Hellcore once again. As a matter of fact, let's let's take a look at this.
This is going to kind of go through different modes where you're going to have the tornado threat, but you're also going to have a rather significant hell threat with these areas here, guys. Okay, so this is east and southeast of downtown Hope at this point. Let's take a look at your hell size once again. Right back up to tennis ball size hail here. So that that's going to be a problem tonight. The other storm over here looks like that is now starting to get back going as well. golf ball size hill uh just south of the the the you know what I'm not even gonna try to pronounce that let's say west and northwest of Camden. I ain't gonna try to pronounce um that. But you guys know full well what that city is. So um but this one over here this one is going to be just to the south and east of the hope area here. This this is going to be just to the west northwest of Willisville. This is going to be moving south. So the Waldo area over towards McNeel Matnolia. keep an eye on the storm. Still a little ways away. Um I would say probably another 30-ish minutes away here, but we're going to keep an eye on it. But for right now, let's go ahead and take a look. That's going to be it. Okay, so it's going to move to the southeast 35 miles per hour.
So looks like it's going to be right over Magnolia coming up soon here. Look at the Elderado camera. Now, keep in mind of this, too. This is looking northwest from downtown Elorado here.
Okay, it's looking northwest straight into this storm. That is insane that you are getting lightning and you're getting that structure that far away. That is in some insane work, guys. That's that's some crazy work with this. So, that tells you how strong this storm is and it's going to continue to move out towards the south and east here, guys.
Okay, so other than that, right now, I have not seen anything here. Let me double check a couple of things. I think that's it here. Okay, so report of golf ball size hell. um related to Hempstead County 911 call center from the town of Ozan Ozen, Arkansas. So that was back further to the north and west here. So looks like we did have golf balls tail with that particular storm here. So right now just double checking a couple of things here.
Okay, right now I haven't I haven't seen anything here. So I think that's pretty much it.
Okay, other than that, I think that's pretty much it for at least for right now. What I'm doing right now is if I go quiet, I'm reading the reading the report chat just to make sure I'm not seeing I'm not missing anything. So, one second.
Okay. All right. So, for right now, I'm just I've had some reports come in, so just following up on that. So far, everything's been hell. Um, I have not seen anything over here that has confirmed a tornado on the ground or anything like that, which is great. Just like I said, that's what we want to hear. Everything I've seen so far has been hell. everything all I've I've seen um you know a couple of damage reports from hell and some wind damage um baseball sail was reported earlier then obviously with channel reported earlier so I have not seen anything in terms of you know someone reporting a tornado on the ground which with it being midnight you're not going to see it that just tells that's just that just tells the story right there um that you're you're not going to see it even if you try to so let me double check a couple things real quickly here. Give me one second.
Okay, so this may help me out. There we go. Okay, so so far so good.
I will keep it up on Streetport. See if we've get anything here. So that other than that golf ball size hell earlier on um that was near Hempstead County um over there near the town of Ozanne.
That's it. That's all I've seen so far.
That is that's pretty much all I've seen so far in terms of the of this particular tornado warn storm. I'm going to zoom this out and we're going to do this.
Okay. So, this is pretty much going to be it right in here. Okay. So, other than that, right now I'm not seeing any other reports of I said I said outside of hell, but right now this is going to be our primary concern. And it's going to be this tornado warn storm down here.
Okay. So, let me do this. Tilt this up just a little bit. And what I'm going to do is I'm going to stop the radar for just a bit. And I'm going to put the track up here so you guys kind of see where this particular storm is going. I know Matt knowi is not under a tornado warning yet. Okay? I know it's still all towards the west and northwest. Give them a heads up. It's midnight. Tell them what's going on. Say, "Hey, this is what we've got." Make sure that they're taking their tornado precautions immediately um at this point. Okay. So, all right. Okay. Yeah. Okay. All right.
Thank you guys for the pronunciation. I I promise I'll read it as soon as I get done with this live stream, guys. Okay.
So, let me see. Let me double check a couple of things here. Okay. So, other than that, I think that's pretty much it for right now.
Not seeing anything else at this point.
So, Okay.
So, other than that, right now, I think we're just kind of holding our own trying to see what Streetport's going to end up doing.
Other than that, I think that's it so far.
Okay. So, other than that, um Oh, that was that was earlier on.
Okay.
So far, we're just kind of holding our own, guys. I'm not really seeing anything in terms of reports, which is great news. Um, as always, you guys can always send us reports and the photos and videos, which by the way, I need to check into that um and see what's going on here. Okay. So, give me just a second here and I will check into this and let's see if we've got any reports in here, guys. So, give me just a bit.
Okay, hang on.
Hang on just a second here. So, what I'm doing right now is I'm pulling up all the stuff from earlier. So, I'm playing catchup along with trying to keep an eye on this tornado warning. So far right now, I have not seen anything outside of the the hell potential with this. Okay.
So, let's see.
Okay.
All right. So, it looks like right now I think that's pretty much it. Okay.
All right. So, other than that, I think that's it for right now. Um, so the tornado warning still remains in effect.
Okay. and um going to continue to kind of monitor this as it pushes off towards the south and east here. So the ball area over towards Willisville. We'll watch and see how this particular storm goes, but other than that right now, and as you can hear here in the metro, um some thunder here. Nothing concerning here in Little Rock right now, but for right now, just kind of keep an eye on the storm here. I'm not seeing anything right now with this storm. Looks like they just issued a severe thunderstorm warning and it's torp. I think it's going to be this one.
Let's see.
I think it's going to be this one. I think this one is. Is this Torpaw? Nope.
Okay. So, it's going to be this particular storm right here. Okay.
So, what they've done here is um they have the tornado warning. They're going to continue the tornado warning until let's see till 12:45.
Okay. But they've issued a severe thunderstorm warning to pause. So what's probably going to end up happening here is they're probably going to let go of this tornado warning within the next I'd say 10 15 minutes and then they're going to have the um the severe thunderstorm warning continue with it.
So So yeah, other than that I think that's pretty much it for right now. So Other than that, I really haven't seen much right now.
Give me one second.
All right.
Other than that, I think that's it for right now. Okay. So, let me double check a couple of things here.
Okay. So, I seen a report here. New report just came in. baseballsiz hell in Hope. Almost 3 in in diameter hell. U with that storm that literally just crossed over Hope here. Looks like you got another hell storm getting ready to come. Okay, so that's what this is.
Tornado warning for this particular storm that's pushing southeast. You got another one that just blew up right behind us. So, what this is going to do here is it's going to try to rob the the energy from this storm and it's going to go towards this one. So, now Hope is getting ready to deal with yet another hell storm. um that's getting ready to move into the area here. So, let's take a look at that real quickly here. So, this one's kick producing tennis ball size tail. Let's go and kind of take a look at this real fast. But another storm just blew up just to the west of Oak Haven and just northwest of Hope.
And this one is got the potential of seeing golf ball size hail here. So, if you're in Hope right now, get away from the windows. Get away from those exterior walls. You got another hell storm getting ready to move into the area. Tornado warning still remains in effect until 12:45 this morning, guys.
Okay. So, other than that, give me a second.
Okay. Sorry about that, folks. just responding to people sending me messages and stuff like that from Southwest Arkansas about what's going on with the hell and everything like that here. So, other than that, I think that's pretty much it for at least for right now here.
So, double check a couple of things.
Okay. Right now, I have not seen anything, which is good news.
Okay.
All right.
So, we're going to go ahead and kind of continue to keep an eye on this here.
So, that's going to be it. Nether Willisville area here. Just going to be just to the west and northwest of the Waldo area. So, we're going to keep an eye on it at this point. Looks like we just got a brand new uh image in. Wow.
From that the the hell storm that went through Hope earlier. Nasty hell. I can't obviously I can't show it here. Um but definitely baseball size hell with that um with that storm here. So other than that, right now we're just kind of holding our own here. Let's take a look one last look at our rotation our rotation strength at the moment. Not seeing anything in terms of uh you know this thing being on the ground or whatnot, which is good news here. This is mainly producing significant hail at this point. So we're substituting the tornado threat for the hail threat with this particular storm here. So, I'm curious to see what they're going to do with this particular tornado warning cuz normally when there's a severe thunderstorm warning right next to it, the tornado warning typically doesn't last too long here. So, let me double check a couple things real fast.
Okay.
All right. Other than that, I think that is uh pretty much it for the moment. So, other than that, I think that's pretty much it for right now. So, that's going to be it. We're going to continue to kind of keep an eye on everything here. So, that's going to be it. Moving into Washaw County here. That's going to be for mainly potential seeing Cortis cell ms and that's going to be your tornado potential here. Right now, I'm just I'm not seeing I'm not seeing a whole lot. Let me go to your This is your mid levels, and I'm just not seeing a lot of rotation, which is great news. Obviously, not knocking at the tornado warning. I'm just not seeing it right now here, guys. And this is, and I know you're seeing this right now. Looks like this is going to be um you know, capable producing a tornado, which obviously is tornado warning. This is also representative of a very large hell, too. Um, I'm more concerned about the hell threat with this particular storm than I am with the overall tornado threat. Um, but still for the right reason, tornado warnings in effect. Stay in your shelter. Stay where you are. But what I would also do is make sure you get away from the windows and you get away from the exterior walls because this is not only going to be capable of producing tornadoes. very large hail has been a problem all evening long and it's going to continue to be a problem um over the next over the next couple of hours here until we can get this thing out of here. So other than that I think that's uh that's pretty much it.
That made my night. That made my night.
I just saw what Derek sent in there. Um that made my night, man. That Oh man, that's that's pretty awesome, guys. That's pretty awesome. I just I saw that video, man. That Thank y'all.
Thank y'all so much, man. I I so for I apologize for earlier. Um I'll talk more about it once the tornado warning's dropped here, but um I just saw that. I I just saw that, man. So, right now, just kind of keep an eye on everything here. Did is our power I did not like how it went like that here. Sound like the power was trying to go out here. So, um, looks like we're good here. But for right now, this is pretty much going to be it. Looking at this tornado warn storm right now, I'm not I'm not see what's going on with this storm here. It's pulsing up, producing a significant hail, and then you can see it's kind of dwindering here. So, other than that, right now, I don't know if you guys notice how quiet it just got.
Am I still alive? One of my guys make sure that we're still good.
Let me double check something real quick.
Okay, looks like we're still good. We don't have anything going on in the metro area right now. So, make sure that I'm still live and we're good. Okay.
Are we still good?
Looks like we're still good. Okay.
Not seeing any I'm not seeing any drop offs on my end. Okay. Looks like we're still good. Okay. All right. All right.
Awesome. Awesome. Okay. So, what what happened was I have a fan very subtle in the background. it went low and it's kind of representative of like if we had any uh um if we had any power outages or whatnot here. So, we're we're good.
We're good. We're we're good. I was I was getting a little worried there, but we're good, guys. So, right now, tornado warning still remains in effect here.
We're just kind of just kind of holding our own here. So, other than that, I do have a new flash warning that's been issued for Hipstick County here. So, this is another problem that we're getting ready to kind of get ourselves into. So, we're transitioning away from the tornado threat. We're now starting to see a flooding problem. And I know in the I know in the comments they're going to be like, "Hey, you know, we're we're 20 ines in the deficit with the drought.
If you get too much rain all at once, um then what ends up happening here is you can get what's called runoff and it leads to flash flooding potential. So you got to watch that very closely. Uh flash warning has been issued for much of northern Hipstick County given the training of thunderstorms ongoing in the area here. So, got to watch it. And this is particularly dangerous because there's a lot of people out here that are camping um this time of the year and all that. Give them a heads up.
Especially up here um in McGomery County, that's going to be Pulk County, PLK, Pike County, Clark County, Hot Spring County, Garland County. Give them a heads up. Give them a heads up. Tell them say, "Hey, we're watching for the flooding threat here. Even though we are very dry, even though we are very dry right now here, we can still have flash flooding problems here." So, for right now, we're just kind of holding our own.
What I'll do here is I'll put a trap for this particular tornado warn storm. And this is the only storm in the state that we're watching right now, by the way.
So, we'll do this. I knew this. I knew there were storms near the area. I just heard that thunder. I I knew there were storms near the area here. So, um hoping we don't have any power outages just near the area. So, I have to keep an eye on that. So, looks like we're good.
Okay. So, other than that, I think that's uh that's pretty much it here, guys. Okay, so right now, I'm going to continue kind of keep an eye on this. So, let's see here.
Right now, I think that's pretty much it from what I've seen so far. This one over here in Washaw County near Camden.
I know that looks like rotation. It's significant hell. And that's the problem tonight is your lap strikes are still pretty good even with it being midnight.
Um I'm trying to I'm trying to word this to where I'm not going to say that this is going to be a tornado outbreak, but I'm also trying to word it to where significant large hail is going to be a problem. Um, I think the tornado threat is very tricky to kind of word, but I think it's going to be mainly a if a storm can latch on to the boundary, go south, and tap into that warm moisture that's moving up on our area to set us up for Monday and Tuesday, right?
Then we'll have to watch for the tornado threat. But the number one primaril primary threat for these storms is going to be for the potential of seeing significant large hail. Um, so just trying to communicate that out here cuz I know when people hear tornadoes, it naturally causes that anxiety. I know the tornado threat is there. It's just not going to be this monster significant tornado event like we've seen in the past here in Arkansas, but I do think the significant hell threat will be a problem. And keep in mind, health and hell storms can cause a lot of issues across the area. So, let's take a look here real quickly here. Right now, this is forming into a you can see it. It's forming into a line of storms. So, I'm trying to see what Streetport is going to do here. Are they going to keep the tornado warning going until 12:45 or they're going to replace it with a severe thunderstorm warning to pause over the next couple of minutes here because right now you have a severe thunderstorm warning overlapping tornado warning here. So, what I'm going to do and give me just a second. I'm going to put a track that that's no track. Here's what I'm going to do because this is obviously forming into a line of storms.
I'm going to move it southeast at about 45 miles per hour. So, Camden, Stevens, Louisville, Stamps, Magdalia, Smackover, Hampton, Northwood, Taylor, Eloro, and over towards Johnson City. Guys, this is where we're going to have to watch for that tornado threat here. Okay, so I think I know what happened. And um I think I know what happened here, guys. I I I'll I'll address that later. That's why I got quiet in here. But other than that, we'll have to continue to kind of keep an eye on this line of storms here.
Right now, I think Heidi's in the in the chat trying to inquire about what they're planning on doing with this tornado warn storm here. So, I would imagine that there will probably be a broad severe thunderstorm warning that will get issued at the bare minimum. um that's going to collute Lafayette, Columbia, portions of also Union County over here. And as you can see from our our sky cam over here from the city of Elorado, this is looking northwest.
You're going to see that squall line continue to kind of push towards the area. You can see the lightning in the background. So, um thank you so much, Heidi, for inquiring about that here.
So, yeah. And Zach Holder, um he inquired about the same thing here with the update with the tornado warning.
Looks like it's starting to gust out.
So, that would be great, great news if this thing can gust out, get ready the tornado warning, and let's get this out of the state cuz I don't know about y'all, I'm ready to put today behind us, and I'm ready to get some I'm ready to relax here cuz we've got more severe weather coming. Um, so going to have to continue to kind of keep an eye on that here, guys. So, other than that, right now, I think that's pretty much it. I'm going to step away for just a second and I'm going to take care of something real quick. So, okay, looks like we're good. Okay, so right now, okay, so sorry about that. I had to reconnect the monitor over here.
So, other than that, multiple trees down and some property damage over there west of Nashville. So, I wonder if you had a confirmed tornado over there. Um, and what ended up happening was it touched down and then um it lifted. So, we we're we're finally starting to get those reports in right now um about what happened over there earlier on here.
I'm trying to see I'm trying to see what Streetport's going to do. That's why I'm That's why if I ever get quiet, by the way, on these live streams, I'm trying to figure out what they're planning on doing with the next warning ahead or I'm reading reports. So, I'm trying to see what they're going to end up doing. It looks like it's starting to gust out. And I didn't want to preemptively say that on air. Um because I don't want to give a false hope that, you know, this thing is weakening and that's pretty much it. But it looks like it is starting to gust out. Um which in layman's terms, your tornado threat is starting to finally dwindle. So we're going to have to keep an eye on that here. Okay. So, other than that, I feel like I'm waiting on a on a letter in the mail. Um, trying to see what they're going to end up doing next. So, I I'd assume what's going to end up happening is it's going to be a severe thunderstorm warning to pause that's going to go for Lafayette, Columbia, and Union County. I think that's what's getting ready to happen here.
So trying to see what ends up happening here with that. But other than that, I think right now these storms are just kind of gusting out. Um and main is going to produce a significant hail threat, damaging winds, and we're going have to watch for that tornado threat as well here. So other than that right now, I have not seen anything.
Um okay. So regarding the current tornado warning, it does seem like storms rotation is we considerably.
thoughts right now are to not consider downstream with it, but they're going to continue to they're going to continue to keep the warning out until 12:45 and monitor it closely here. So, you guys get to deal with me for another 20 minutes. Um, and then we go from there here. Okay. So, right now, what I'm going to do is I'm going to do two things. I'm going to zoom this out and we're going to talk about the state of Arkansas. So, right now, everybody that's listening to this, I'm going to go over the Little Rocks radar real quickly here. So, not taking anything away from the tornado warn storm. As a matter of fact, this is great. I've got a track up for that entire line so you guys kind of see what's going on so that way you're not you're not missing anything here. Okay. So, I'm going to take the county names off for just a bit.
All right.
Okay. Looks like we're good. Okay. So right now I think that's pretty much it here. So give me just a second. Let me go back and do this. All right. So this is going to be your track of that storm down there in southwest Arkansas here. So everybody else overall in western Arkansas and central Arkansas. There's a what we call literally a rain shield coming out from eastern Oklahoma coming out of western Arkansas and moving into central Arkansas. A lot of lightning, a lot of thunder, but no severe weather in central Arkansas tonight. Okay, central Arkansas is good. You're going to hear thunder from time to time in the Little Rock area and Conway, Russville, those areas. You're going to hear thunder from time to time. But other than that, that's going to be it. Okay, you're not expecting any severe weather down there tonight. Okay, so other than that, let's see here. They're going to continue the tornado warning until 12:45 and I think that's going to be it at this current point here. Okay, so yeah, they're going to continue the tornado warning until then and then that's going to be it. Okay, so you're going to hang with me for about another 15 minutes. Um and then we're going to go from there, guys. Okay, so um while we're kind of monitoring this, I'm going kind of address a couple of things here. number one. Okay, we're going to get past tonight. Sunday, I would take Sunday. Here's what I would do. Arkansas, I would take Sunday and go over severe weather plans. Okay, I know a lot of people have church. They have outdoor activities and stuff like that on Sundays. I would find time tomorrow to go over your severe weather safety plans. Okay? And that's not me jumping ahead. It's just me giving a broad generalized update on what's getting ready to happen the next couple of days.
Monday and Tuesday. Monday will likely, especially northeast Arkansas, represent a significant tornado threat. Okay. Uh Tuesday, I think will probably be once again large hail, damaging winds, tornado threat with that as well. Take tomorrow to go over those severe weather plans. Get you a county map printed out.
Download our weather app. download our Roku channel, Arkansas Weather, which is literally ARWx. Um, get prepared. Okay, I'm not I'm not saying every single town's going to get hit on Monday and Tuesday, but we have a day in between this event and those events to get ourselves more prepared for the potential of seeing severe weather here, guys. Okay, so that's what I would that's what I would do tomorrow.
Tomorrow is a really good take a breather. Let's see what's going on and then we go from there. Okay. And then obviously we will watch Monday afternoon, Monday evening, and then we'll watch Tuesday afternoon and Tuesday evening. Everybody else outside of southern Arkansas tonight, although it's going to be loud in central Arkansas and West Arkansas, you're good to go to bed. Okay, it's been a long evening. We've had several tornado warnings, several significant severe weather thunderstorm warnings, um several significant hail reports. Matter of fact, I do believe I can probably pull up those hell reports um for what we've had over the last over the last little bit here. So, unfortunately, looks like it's not going to pull up.
That's fine. But anyways, we've had a lot of hell reports this evening here, guys. Okay, so it's been a very long evening in western southwest Arkansas.
I know it's going to be loud and I know storm anxiety is through the roof right now. Okay, but be sure to go over those severe weather plans tomorrow, okay? Use tomorrow to your advantage, guys. Okay, right now I have not seen anything else in terms of any tornadoes on the ground or anything like that. So, what I'm going to do is I'm going to leave this up. Okay, this pretty much what this is going to do here is I'm going to I'm going to do a broad view because I have a lot of folks that are in the central Arkansas area that are watching this um trying to figure out, you know, obviously what's going on or whatnot.
There's Little Rock, Interstate 30, Interstate 40. There's your tornado warning. There's your line of storms coming through the area here. Okay, so um just had a view report of the hell report over there in Hope. I'm getting a lot of those photos in from Hope earlier of that baseball size hell that went through here. I imagine there's going to be um hell damage. There's going to be car damage and stuff like that here. So, a quick reminder, um Rice Roofing and Construction down here in southern Arkansas will take care of you if you have any hail damage on your roof. And then we've got um Encore Dent Repair up there in Conway. Um if you end up having car damage from the hell the hell storms down here in Southwest Arkansas tonight here. So go check those two out. Um big sponsors of the page here. They keep us going. Um they keep all our stuff powered and everything like that. Go get those guys some businesses here.
Especially if you've had any damage tonight. And I know Brock and I know Corey pretty well. Those two dudes will get you will get you lined out. They'll take care of you. So um be sure to keep that in the back of your mind.
especially my folks in Hope and anyone back to the the west and northwest that's had any hail damage this evening.
Other than that right now, I think we're just holding our we're just holding our own, guys. I haven't seen anything that screams that this is going to produce a significant tornado or whatnot. Looks like it's starting to gust out. So, what's going on here is this is going to end up being a big time severe what a severe thunderstorm warning. Um, so if I'm in Magnolia, if I'm in Smackover, El Dorado, the Emerson area, Stamps, Taylor, Johnson City, strong, I'm watching this very closely. Okay. Um, you know, keeping an eye on it. I think the tornado threat, I'm not trying to be, you know, not trying to put too many eggs before they hatch, you know, but not, you get what I mean by that. Not trying to preemptively say that the tornado threat's gone, but what I would say here is keep an eye on it. But I think damaging winds and the health threat is definitely going to be something we're have to watch. Speaking of said hell threat, let's take a look at it here and we'll zoom down. What I'm going to do for just a bit is I'm going to take off the flood warning for just a second here. Okay, so this is going to be it. Obviously, there's your severe thunderstorm warning. Considerable tag that will probably end up going away once this moves out of the area. Looks like both storms still capable of producing golf ball size hail um as they continue to move off towards the south and east here. So, Camden, Stevens, Lewisville, Magnolia, Smackover, Hampton, North, El Dorado, Taylor, Johnson City. Um, you need to be um watching this storm closely and make sure that you take your tornado precautions here. Okay. So, other than that right now, I think that's pretty much it.
Okay. I haven't seen anything else so far, which is great news. I haven't seen anything. Let me let me double check Little Rock real quick. Make sure I'm not missing anything here. So, they got a special weather statement for the area for the loud thunderstorms.
Other than that, okay, not seeing anything else here. So, we'll go back over to Streetport.
And like I said before, just I was just looking at the hell reports earlier on.
And by the way, if you're in Hope, if you're listening this, you're in Hope, um you're good to go. The tornado warning has been dropped for Hope, so you don't have to worry about that. Um, I will say this, if you have any help pictures, um, if you have any video, whatnot that you can get safely, always feel free to send that in, guys. We'll we'll we'll always be accepting a storm reports and everything like that. Um, we'll always be sure to make sure we give credit to you. So, other than that, okay, so right now over pretty much 9,000 people without power um, in Arkansas here. So, guardian current tornado warning. I think I read that earlier. Okay. So, other than that, I think that is uh that's pretty much it at this point here. Okay. So, other than that, let me see here. Other than that, not seeing anything on our report board over here. So, yeah. So, let's see here.
Storms South Arkansas appear to become more linear along a southward moving outflow boundary. It's so now we're starting to come to an end. will likely begin warning the line south of towards the Louisiana line, focusing a little bit more wind, but continuing the hell threat. Still can't rule out an isolated tornado embedded with the line as it moves further south overnight here. So, looks like in about 10 minutes unless they drop it before um this is fitting to become a big time wind threat across the area here. Okay, so other than that, I think that's pretty much it for at least for right now. I'm not going to step away or anything. Um, but we're just going to kind of hold our horses until uh this storm pushes through the area here. Okay, so this is going to be it. What I'm going to do here is I'm going to go back. There's your track.
I'll draw a new one over here and we're going to go from there. Okay, so this is going to be it. We're going to drop it.
I did not mean to do that. Give me one second. I meant to include this other part of the line, too. Okay. All right.
So, this is going to be it. We're going to drop it south. I will go Let's go 45.
Let's go 45. That's going to be it, guys. Okay. So the Stevens area, Stamps over towards uh Garland, McNeel, Magnolia, Hampton, Smack over, Northick, the Calian area, Taylor, um Elorado, and Johnson. Somebody might want to let Aaron know uh because he stays in Taylor. You might want to let them know what's going on um with this particular storm here. So other than that, I think that's pretty much it. Let's see. Okay, so they've issued day one slight. Um, I will look into that coming up here in just a little bit. That's for today. So, if you give me just a second here, I'm going to see what's what's cooking over here for today.
Okay, let's see what they end up doing here.
Okay, hang on one second.
Okay, let's see what they end up doing. Okay.
So, looks like Okay. All right. So, that's for today out there. Okay. So, I'll deal with that once this tornado warning's been dropped. Looks like they're getting ready to drop it at about 12:45. So, we only have a few more minutes left on this, guys. And then I think what's going to happen is there's going to be a a pretty broad severe thunderstorm warning that's uh that's getting ready to be issued here. So, let me see something real quick.
I can type over here. Hang on.
Okay, there we go. All right, there we go. I was inquiring about what they're planning on doing with this particular line of storms here. So, tornado warning still remains in effect till 12:45.
Okay, I think that's uh that's pretty much it for at least for right now. So, I'm going double check a couple of things here. Okay, looks like there's an alpha badge. They're starting to get going. So, this is this is what happened is you had two supercells, two nasty supercells, by the way. And I'll get a hell track at some point kind of show you the supercells that went through the area. This is now formed into a line of storms, which is great news. Um, and then this is going to continue to push off towards the south and east here, guys. Okay. So, other than that, I think that's pretty much all she wrote right now. Um, I'm going to wait till the tornado warning is dropped off the board and then what we'll do is we'll revert back over. Um, friendly reminder, ARWX, one of my guys, if y'all get in the comments, that'll be great. ARWX, that is the Roku channel. Go download it.
It's going to have some peaceful music.
It's going to calm your mind and everything like that. Remember what I said earlier about tomorrow? tomorrow.
Even though we do have a risk for severe weather and I think we could have a few isolated cells tomorrow, I would definitely definitely definitely have a safe plan ready to go. I think Monday, right now, preemptively, I think if there were to be a moderate, I think it'd be up there in far northeast Arkansas going into the mid the Midwest.
But I still think you'll have significant severe weather issues on Monday. And I say the same for the potential as we move into your Tuesday time frame. So take that time tomorrow, talk to your family and friends, sit them down. I know life is busy. I am the true product of how life can be super busy. But stop, take a few minutes with your family and talk about those severe weather plans here, guys. Okay? It will help storm anxiety and it will help keep things organized, especially as we move into the upcoming work week here. Okay?
So other than that, okay, so that's what's getting ready to happen here. All right, so they are going to put a severe thunderstorm warning for this line of storms. Um, and they're going to drop the tornado warning uh with this as well here. So, it's going to be coming up here in just a second.
I'm going to stay on till 12:45. I think it I think I can stay on long enough um in order for the um the tornado warning to be there and then we'll go from there. So, other than that, I think that's pretty much it for at least for right now here. So, like I said, I appreciate y'all for tuning in.
I apologize for the issue earlier. We're back rocking and rolling and then we're going to go from there here. Okay, so other than that, I think that's it.
Looks like they dropped this thunderstorm warning. Um, it is now a special weather statement here. And now we have the brand new severe thunderstorm warning that's been issued.
Let's take a look at it real fast. And it's going to be for 1HL and 60 mph wind. So that will wrap up this tornado warning coverage, guys. Okay, so it has been a long last two to three hours, guys. Okay, but we got through it. We're here. Um, I want to stress as well, we're not perfect. We're going to have hiccups here and there. Um, especially if emergencies come up or whatnot, but we're always going to be here regardless, okay? There's never going to be a time that you're not going to have coverage and we'll find a way to make it happen one way or another. Um, but other than that, guys, I think that's pretty much it for right now. I'm going to let that tornado warning drop and then we're going to switch it back over to regular programming, guys. So, I think that's pretty much it. Um, let's see here.
Okay, other than that, I think that's pretty much it here, guys. Okay, so let's take a look at this real quickly here. So, I want to show you guys what's going on. Looks like we've got a little mezo low that developed it, which makes sense on why your tornado threat was there, which no other model data had. So today was kind of a, you know, shot in the dark. This is what's going on.
That's it. But it did fit with our timing map. So our time map has been doing pretty good pretty pretty recently. So right now, like I said before, we're watching this situation very closely. Going to keep an eye on this down here.
That's it.
That That's pretty much it for at least for right now here. So I'm going to what I'm going to do here, I'm going to stay on for about three more minutes.
Um, and I think that's going to be it here. So, they're going to drop the tornado warning at 12:45 and I think we're going to be good here.
Okay. So, let's let's recap. Let's go over what we're going to do tomorrow, folks. Go over your severe weather plans. Okay? Talk to your family and friends. Go over what to do when there's severe weather. Okay? When there's tornado warnings, we cannot answer specific questions. So, what does that mean for you? talk to us before the storm start. Don't ignore those risk areas. Don't ignore those posts until the day of. Okay? A lot of people do that. I'm guilty of that, too. Don't wait until the day of to start reacting.
Okay? Be proactive. Talk to your family, friends tomorrow. It's a very low-end threat tomorrow. Sit them down. Say, "Hey, this is what we've got going, whatnot." And then go from there. Okay?
Other than that, we're going to be here throughout the overnight hours. I'll be here. I've got some stuff I've got to work on um in order to get ready for Monday and Tuesday. So, I'll be hanging around for another couple of hours just to make sure all of our uh stones are left un pretty much making sure no stone is left unturned pretty much. Um and other than that, I think that's going to be pretty much it here. So, I'm going to see what they're going to end up doing.
Quite the lightning show down there in the Elo camera right now u with the line of storms that's coming out from the northwest here. You can see it moving through the area. But other than that, I think that's pretty much it for right now. I'm going to hang off one more minute and I think we're going to be good here. So, I think that's it.
I um So, I'm just I'm seeing all those photos that are coming in now from earlier.
Man, that was a that was a hell stom over there near Nashville and in the Hope area. So hopefully um no pun intended um that they are pretty good in those areas here. Check on your folks there. So other than that, we're just kind of holding on right now.
Honestly, we're just kind They're just kind of holding our horses right now here, guys. I'm trying to I'm trying to wait and see when they're going to drop this tornado warning. And there it is.
Okay, tornado warning's been dropped.
Reassuring you guys one last time, tornado warning has officially been dropped for this particular storm. It is now a wind product here. Wind in large hail will be a problem with this storm.
Other than that, I think that is going to be pretty much here, guys. Okay, so what we're going to do, we're going to break away from coverage. Tornado warning has been dropped. I will be here. I am personally here at the office now, so you don't have to worry about that. Okay, so I'm here. We're going to keep you guys updated. Other than that, um, like I said, tomorrow, talk with your talk with your family and friends about Monday and Tuesday. I plan on, by the way, I'm not going to put a time out there. I do plan on at some point tomorrow evening, weather permitting, um, that we will have a um, a live stream talking about Monday and Tuesday severe weather threat here. So, we'll see. Um, we'll we'll see what ends up happening with the day two risk and we'll go from there, folks. So other than that, from myself and our entire Arkansas Weather Watchers team, this has been tornado warning coverage, and we'll continue to keep you guys updated right here, your source for all things Arkansas weather.
