[00:01:34]Glorious God, beautiful king, excellent, I bow before your throne, glorious God, beautiful king, excellent Matthew 25, we'll read two verses, but we are running through several. Matthew 25, we'll read 15 and 28. But the story is actually between verse 15 and verse 28. But we're going to read two verses of Matthew chapter 25. Verse 15. And one unto one he gave five talents, to another two, to another one, and to every man according to his several ability, and straightway went his journey. Verse 28, take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which had 10 talent. I want to share quickly quickly on maximizing opportunities.

[00:03:03]Maximizing opportunities. Life is the biggest opportunity you can ever have. Life is given to you by God as a privilege. Life is given to you by God as an opportunity.

[00:03:20]Everything that comes your way is given by God to be maximized.

[00:03:26]That has God given you health, maximize it. In the kingdom, everything given to us is meant for maximization.

[00:03:36]Nothing God gives you to depreciate.

[00:03:40]God does not give you health for your health to depreciate. God does not give you uh intellect for your intellect to depreciate. God does not give you intelligence for your intelligence to depreciate. Everything God gives you is to be maximized. God gives it to you so you take it to the highest level. God gives it to you so you make it 100% in profit. Everything given to you by God, is it a skill? Is it a gift? Is for maximization.

[00:04:12]Life is an opportunity. Everything that comes your way today is an opportunity and a privilege given to you by God. The Bible say a man was about going on a journey. Everyone that goes on a journey must return. Everyone that travels on a journey must get come back. So we are expecting a coming back king. Our king is coming back. Our king is returning.

[00:04:38]Our king will always come back. is a God who said, "I go to prepare a place for you and I'll come back and I'll take you to myself." We don't serve a God who just left up in this world to rot. We don't serve a God who left up in this world to end in pain. But he said, "If I come back, I will send you a comforter."

[00:04:58]He's called the Holy Ghost. The word cannot receive him because the world does not know him. The word cannot keep him because the world does not know him.

[00:05:06]He's called the spirit of the father. In the Bible is called the spirit of just men made perfect. Whenever we come before him, we come before the heavenly Jerusalem, the innumerable company of angels. Whenever we come before him, we come before the spirit of just men made perfect. We come before the blood of sprinkling that speaketh better things than the blood of Abel. Who is this spirit? I'm talking of the very spirit that raised Jesus from the dead. Who is this spirit? I'm talking about the spirit that God says if he dwells in you, he shall quicken your matter bodies. It's called the spirit of truth.

[00:05:42]Who is this spirit? I'm talking about the Holy Ghost. In Acts chapter 19 and verse two, Paul said, "Have you received the Holy Ghost since you believe?" The Holy Ghost is the seal of your belief.

[00:05:54]The Holy Ghost is the emblem of the believer. Have you received the Holy Ghost until you believe? He said, "We don't know about any Holy Ghost." He said, "Unto which baptism are you baptized?" He said, "Unto the baptism of John." And he led us and the Holy Ghost came upon them. Hear me, child of God.

[00:06:29]A believer is one whose life is an advantage.

[00:06:36]You are different from the world. I need you all to understand you are not the world. You are different.

[00:07:50]When you do everything everybody does, what is your advantage? What are you banking on? There's nothing. So you're just a normal person.

[00:07:59]What keeps your shoulders square is that there is something others are doing that you are not doing that it gives you advantage.

[00:08:09]So I it's like we don't understand the world being a Christian.

[00:08:13]You're everywhere. You do what they do.

[00:08:15]You talk like them. You act like the word. You behave like the word. So what is your power?

[00:08:24]So that is what so I'm being to ask myself a question when I see some believers act I'm looking at them like what is your because what I know about a believer is that you must have you know Jacob wrestled with God when he wrestled with God he had an encounter in the morning while others were living normal a man had gotten an encounter that stood him out in this world and the Bible guess what the Bible says he said as a prince thou hast power with God by reason of that wrestling as a prince. Thou had power with God. So what is your power with God?

[00:09:06]What is your power? You lie. You steal.

[00:09:08]You see what's not yours. You take it.

[00:09:11]You manipulate. You deceive. You cheat.

[00:09:13]So what what is your Okay. What is the what what do what is your own? So I don't understand.

[00:09:23]You can see something that's not yours, you walk away from it. That is your power.

[00:09:29]You can see evil, you walk away. That's your power. That's your strength. That's your confidence.

[00:09:40]I need you to understand that. So anytime you walk away from sin, you are building power. You are building power.

[00:09:46]You're building power. Are you following me? You're building, you are building power. So he gets to a point he becomes so powerful.

[00:10:29]Build identity with God. You know God said about Abraham. He said my my servant Abraham I know him. He said I know him. There are some of us God doesn't know us. What does it mean to know you? Somebody. The word then know is not just a facial identity. is I trust him.

[00:11:00]This man gave talents to everybody.

[00:11:03]Guess what? He gave some five. He gave another two. He gave another one. Now when I read that scripture I wasn't happy because it doesn't seem fair.

[00:11:16]Give everybody five H or give everybody two H each or give everybody one H. Until I read further, he said he gave them talent according to their ability.

[00:11:33]>> Mean the one who had five had the ability for five.

[00:11:40]The one who had one had ability for one.

[00:11:43]>> Yes sir. So if someone is ahead of you, it's not because God is partial. It's because the person has developed ability.

[00:11:53]So your gifting is on the platform of your ability.

[00:11:59]>> It is not God that determines the number of gifts you get. It is your ability that determines it. So anytime you are growing in faith, anytime you are growing in discipline, anytime you are growing in prayer, anytime you are growing in study, anytime you are growing in intimacy, anytime you are growing in grace, anytime you are growing in giving, anytime you are growing in meditation, you are increasing gifting. As you are increasing capacity, gift increases. As you increase cap, are you following me?

[00:12:33]Yes sir.

[00:12:36]There are several gifts. There are there are no somebody said to me the nine gifts of the spirit. I said no there are no nine gifts of the spirit. More than nine gifts. Paul only Paul only addressed the nine gifts that was causing problem in the Corinthian church.

[00:12:54]In 1 Corinthians chapter 12 there were nine gifts that were causing issues.

[00:12:58]If you go further read Romans 12, you you go further 1 Corinthians chapter 12 down to the end. You see all kinds.

[00:13:02]There's administration. There is gift of helps. There is all of that. But there were nine that were causing problem.

[00:13:08]Some didn't know the difference between prophecy and word of wisdom. Word of knowledge and gift of faith. Tongues and interpretation of tong. So Paul had to address those nine particular specific gifts. There are multiple gifts of the spirit.

[00:13:21]That God can give you the grace to walk in them or you have to develop ability. So the man gave everybody opportunity. Watch this. He said he gave them the gift and went his way.

[00:13:35]When a man gives you something and the man goes his way.

[00:13:40]Whatever you do with it is up to you.

[00:13:42]>> Yes, ma'am.

[00:13:43]>> Whatever you do with that gift is up to you.

[00:13:48]But don't forget that he that gave you the gift is coming.

[00:13:54]And the Bible says that this was an opportunity. We all have equal opportunity but how we maximize it determines our profiting. Can I repeat that? Every man has equal opportunity but how you maximize it determines your profiting.

[00:14:14]Every man has equal opportunity but how you maximize it determines your profiting. Number one, how do I maximize opportunity? The one that had five put it to use. Service. Somebody say service.

[00:14:31]>> When God gives you an opportunity for life, God gives you breath. God gives you energy. God gives you health.

[00:14:40]God gives you idea. Your mind is intact.

[00:14:45]God says the next thing I respect of you one is service. Serve me. There are three capacities and dimension or quadrants of service. One is service to God. Somebody say service to God. Job 36:11, "If they shall obey and serve me, they shall spend their days in prosperity and their years in pleasure."

[00:15:06]Serve God. Matthew 6:24, he says, "Thou shall serve shall not serve two masters.

[00:15:12]Either you bow to one or you pick another. You can serve God and mammon.

[00:15:16]Serve God.

[00:15:19]Serve God." Satan came to Jesus in the heat of the temptation and said, "I will give you everything if only you fall down and worship me." And Jesus said, "Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God only, and him alone shalt thou serve."

[00:15:44]The Bible, are you aware? Are you aware that everything in this life is looking for worship?

[00:16:36]People have sold because the devil can give you anything for your soul.

[00:16:43]Okay. When When Jesus was being tempted by the devil, Satan said to Jesus, to Jesus, he said, "See everything in this world, it is mine." Did Jesus argue?

[00:16:57]Jesus didn't say it's not yours. Jesus said it's true.

[00:17:02]Because when Adam fell, Adam gave everything to the devil. What God came to, what the second Adam came to give back to you is your soul.

[00:17:14]He didn't come to give you a car.

[00:17:18]The second Adam came not to give you a car. He came because the first Adam when it fell your soul, your life was handed over to Satan. So that is what Jesus came to redeem. He didn't come to redeem the physical structure.

[00:17:33]Are you follow I'm talking about? So whether you like it or not, the God of this world, Mmon still controls this world. Materialism still controls this world.

[00:17:42]the flesh still rules the world. So if you want to become a a a carrier or you want to be immersed or overwhelmed with the benefits of this world, then get ready to hand a handshake with mama.

[00:18:01]Get ready to have a handshake. It's very important that you understand this.

[00:18:06]It's important. This is where people miss it. And you start hearing things like prosperity message.

[00:18:13]Everybody you see preaching prosperity message today, they don't know it.

[00:18:19]They don't know it because what they are preaching is not prosperity message.

[00:18:22]What they are preaching is the use of money.

[00:18:25]The importance of money. Because real prosperity message begins with your soul.

[00:18:29]>> Yes. I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health even as thy soul. What is real prosperity message? Give your soul to Jesus. That is his own his own. Then from there build up every other thing. Build career from there build business from there build home. That is prosperity your soul. Third John verse two your soul as thy soul. In other words, he's saying if your soul is not prospering, nothing else is permitted to prosper.

[00:19:02]>> That's prosperity. So what we are seeing today is business services, business seminar, use of money.

[00:19:11]>> Use of money. Give God, God will give you back. So it's like it's like God is your business is your business partner.

[00:19:18]When I help, when I give, I don't expect anything. I'm sorry to say I give because it's my responsibility as a Christian.

[00:19:29]I don't give. One time a woman came out said she saw what was going on.

[00:19:32]Scholarship, crusades, we are feeding people. She started crying. He said, "Pastor, I'm an elderly woman. Let me pray for you." She's about 91. So I went on my knees. She put hands on my shoulder. She began to pray. Every prayer was in order except one.

[00:19:46]She was praying for me. I said, "Father, all these things she has done, he has done. father give him more money. I said mama mama that's transaction.

[00:19:55]So I give God 2,000. God give me 5,000.

[00:19:58]I is God my business partner.

[00:20:01]It's my responsibility to do it. I'm not giving God because I'm expecting what God will give to me. It's my responsibility to do which I'm talking to somebody here.

[00:20:11]>> When you have that mentality, sir, heaven can trust you.

[00:20:16]>> Heaven does not trust business partners.

[00:20:18]God is too big to be your business partner.

[00:20:21]>> God is too big to be your transactional colleague. Who are you? The creator of the heavens and the earth. You are doing business with him.

[00:20:44]The couple met me say they have been giving. Things are bad. They have been giving. I said follow me. He follow to the office. I said I said calculate what you gave. He said no sir I just want you to pray. I said calculate what you gave.

[00:20:57]I said so I brought out some money from my drawer. It was a bag. I said take no no no. I say then don't say that again. Don't say that. Are you aware that in scripture offerings were rejected?

For I know my redeemer.

[00:23:46]No that you want to pray for how much is it?

[00:23:51]He said how much? How much? Just tell me let me pay for it. Please don't don't don't stress me. I said let's just pray.

[00:24:00]He bought a plane. So one time the wife was complaining that oh the pilot don't come to carry him on time. So he bought the wife her own plane. So the children were complaining that sometime the pilot blah blah blah. He bought the children their plane. Now I'm trying to tell you how wealthy. Then one time his plane went for service. When planes go for checkup sometime can stay 3 months when they want to service the plane because they have to check. It's not like a car.

[00:24:25]A place is not like a car. a plane and when things are bad in aircraft you don't repair they they don't repair things you replace and not just replace it has a time span if your brake in the plane is 6 months meant for 6 months even if at 6 month is still working you must remove it to get a new one so all of those checks they were doing all that so so has hold on as they went to check fix the plane 3 months he called the wife the wife wasn't bringing her plane spoke to the children they were not bringing their plane so he got angry and bought a new plane while waiting for that other plane when he died the four planes were packed the children didn't have time because he was the one maintaining their plane maintaining the wife's planes maintaining when I went to the airport I just saw the four I shook my head I said died.

[00:25:28]I said, "So that is life." I preached.

[00:25:31]There's nothing I didn't tell this man.

[00:25:32]I don't threaten him.

[00:25:35]Have you seen the kind of salvation message that you are threatening people?

[00:25:39]Hellfire. Hell fire. You go to hell. He say even though give your life to Christ or you go to hell. You go to hell. You're supposed to rest with hell.

[00:25:53]So the the I'm telling you that that that thing you are pursuing that money you are pursuing somebody had it and left it and it's gone.

[00:26:03]So things like that begins to make you see the valuelessness, the futility of materialism. Serve God. Number two, serve people.

[00:26:18]When you leave this world, what people remember you for is your influence on them.

[00:26:55]One day I came out. I went to preach in an African country in South Africa Janisburg. So I came out. So the person came to lead me was went to talk to the driver. They parked the car wrongly to go and turn the car. So a lady was walking out. So she bumped on me and her phone her charger things fell. So I helped her. I said, "Sorry, sorry." I picked up the charger. I said, "So sorry." She took it and turned on me.

[00:27:22]What did you say? I said, "Sorry, sorry." She bumped on me. I said, "Sorry, sorry." And she says something I'll never forget. Said, "Do men say sorry?"

[00:27:34]I I say I say, "What trouble have I gotten myself into now?" I say, "What trouble? What trouble? What have I said now?"

[00:27:44]He said, "Do men say sorry?"

[00:27:47]So I said, "Please, please, I don't want trouble. I I I He said, "No, no, no, no, no, no. Men say sorry." Wow.

[00:27:57]Men say sorry. He said, "I actually bumped on you. You say sorry. Men sorry." Wow. So I got into the car. I left. that thing began to and what I could pick I may be wrong but what I could pick is that it was strange she must have been through things in the hands of men all she wanted was to hear sorry that's what I picked from that that um old story to men say so can you imagine that just one act that I was not conscious of change somebody's mindset and there are people today that you are hurting, you are causing pain.

[00:28:41]Some are some some are unintentional, some are intent. There are people that will lie. Jesus, they will lie when they tell they lie like they prophesying.

[00:28:54]They they are inspirational with their lies.

[00:28:59]Some people can convince a monkey >> from a tree without a banana.

[00:29:05]No banana in their hand. They will convince monkey.

[00:29:19]I'm telling you. I'm telling you. And and and you you don't understand something. When you think you take advantage of a person, heaven is aware.

[00:29:30]You are taking advantage of God's product. God's product you are taking advantu is aware the manufacturer is watching you one day we need to get something in church so I hardly announce so that day I they told me what was needed so I said I'll take care of it so the leader no you are treating us everything you handle it this one let the church handle it so I said okay so I made the announcement as I made the announcement one of my sons just said don't bother I'll take care of it. He was an individual but be before he said he would take care several people had pledges not to take care of the entire thing. He was to take off the entire he said daddy don't worry I'll take care of everything. It was a lot of money to buy something. So said okay. So they came to me and said he has paid but other people have paid. I said return it. They said sir we have other things.

[00:30:31]I said eh that's not what we told them when it's time for other things we'll tell them return their money he said no s there are other needs I say who is who did God give vision here I'm the one read because just one tiny nonsense can make God frown at you I later sent me a long message he said I am learning Christianity I know it but now I'm learning practical.

[00:31:08]We can use it for order. But that's not what you said, sir.

[00:32:00]One came and gave excuse. He said, "Because of this, because of that, because of this, I couldn't do this, I couldn't." Turn your excuses to uses, no excuse. God has given you life. You have no excuse to fail. God has given you brains and given you ideas. You have no excuse to be stranded. That thing you call an excuse is what others see as a raw material.

[00:32:27]What you call an excuse is what other people see. Am I talking here in Switzerland? What you call an excuse is what other people see as a raw material.

[00:32:38]You are saying ah I'm not able to sleep and somebody is looking for how to stay awake for a project.

[00:32:47]Somebody's looking for how to stay awake to spend time in prayer.

[00:32:52]There are people that when they sleep too much, they cry, "Oh, I miss my prayer time." And there are some people God is giving them. God give them a season to stay awake to intercede.

[00:33:03]There's nothing they have not taken. No drug plus ejection plus tablet they must sleep. Wherever sleep is sleep must come. They have laid them on them. They have laid leg on them. They have poured oil on them. Poured them inside oil.

[00:33:14]They now look like plantain chips. And even at that day I must sleep and pursuing sleep about and meanwhile at that period of your it wasn't so but you notice just for a month it's like you're not able to sleep for long. God just want you to be awake for some time. He wants you to spend time with him. He is the one because there are things he has seen ahead but no you and sleep. It's like there's a covenant of sleep. You must sleep. God says stay awake. It has happened to me. The times I close my eyes, I say what's going on for about a week. I say okay. I stand up. I start praying. I start praying. Guess what? I will pray to that level. Sleep now comes. When I pray to that level, I say, "Okay, this is what he want." So I continue in that flow. Understand the workings of the spirit. No excuse. No excuse. No excuse. No excuse. One said, "I gain more." Two said, "I gain more."

[00:34:12]When there is excuse, when a life full of excuses is a life that will be denied of profit.
