Harvesting Pineapple 🍍 Chamomile //Campbell’s Freedom Farm

[00:00:00]I'm getting my first harvest of the year and it's chamomile. Now, what type of chamomile am I harvesting? It's the pineapple chamomile. You have the regular German chamomile, but the pineapple chamomile is actually the Roman chamomile and some people call it the pineapple wheat. Now, what I like about both of them, one is early season, the pineapple, it likes it cool and um smells amazing.

[00:00:34]And then later on, I plant the German chamomile and um I have that now. What's the difference? I mean, you hear different things online. They're both healthy. I mean, they both have at least 36 flavonoids and um they both have the same properties of calming and usually good with mosquitoes, although there's one buzzing me around. But the difference is the pineapple grows really short and it's in a hurry to produce. You have to cut it just as it flowers so you get a second harvest. The pineapple tastes the same, but the German chamomile grows taller and right now it looks more dense, but later on it gets more lanky. So, um I just do both. But um go grow your pineapple um chamomile, which by the way reeds if you have a weed-free area.
