For over 40 years now, I've been studying neuroscience of transformation and I've helped thousands of people break free from their miserable patterns quietly sabotaging their success. There's a biological pathway out, and Dr. Doty mapped out the whole thing. Your executive control network is your brain's operating system, creativity, memory recall, long-range planning. And when it's firing on all cylinders, you can make sharp decisions. You see connections other people miss. And here's the dirty secret well nobody's telling you.
Fear shuts that whole system down. The executive control network actually gets things done. But if you're driven by fear and anxiety and insecurity, then that limits its ability to do so because you don't have full access.

Every second about 10 million bits of sensory information pour into your nervous system. You consciously process maybe 50, maybe 100.
And the rest runs underneath your awareness, which means most of your behavior is shaped by a layer willpower will never touch.
So, when your desire is rooted in not enough, that signal floods through the nervous system reading your dream as a threat.
Your brain doesn't want to move you forward toward what you want. It wants to protect you from it. So, let me tell you about a client of mine, a brilliant executive, sharp as a razor, had a vision board, a 5:00 a.m. morning routine that would make most people feel inadequate just looking at it. And she sat across from me one day and whispered, "Amira, I'm frozen." And she opened up her laptop to work on the project that could change everything for her. And then spending an hour reorganizing her desktop icons. And that wasn't laziness.
That was her nervous system dysregulation. Her body had tagged her dream as dangerous because the wanting was wrapped up in shame.
And shame isn't a mindset, it's a biological state. Your nervous system can't tell the difference between a predator in the grass and a shame spiral at your desk. Same cortisol, same amygdala alarm, same shutdown. You can't fix the hardware with affirmations. So, if craving from lack shifts your brain down, what actually turns the system on?
Meet the salience network. Think of it as your internal bloodhound, always sniffing. Yes.
>> have to make that thing you want salient. It has to be something that touches you that you really feel like it's there with you and you want it. And the reason I bring that up is because salience uh is it activates a bloodhound within your head where it looks around for opportunities for you to manifest. So, what I mean by that is that if you're able to embed your intention that activates the salience network, which is the bloodhound. And the analogy is as follows. I'm sure you have been to parties and they're loud. Mhm. And your name will be mentioned and you'll immediately turn. Even though it's the loud >> And you're like, "Wait, where is this here?" Yeah, but that's because your identity is deeply embedded within You weren't listening for it.
You weren't trying. Your brain did it for you because your name is identity level code. That's the real mechanism behind manifesting. Not magic, biology.
And here's where it really gets interesting. Dr. Dody's own life tells the story perfectly. When he was 12, he had a very specific list. Money, mansion, a Rolex. He got it all. Every single one. And you know what? He was deeply, profoundly miserable. And why is that? Because he didn't miss desires, the kind of wanting that's all about ego, about hiding your shame behind stuff. It doesn't value tag your intention, it threat tags it. Your salience network might lock on, sure, but your nervous system stays trapped in the survival mode the entire chase. So, you get the Porsche, you feel like garbage. When you shift to the parasympathetic nervous system, that activates all of your brain networks and allows them to sync together, if you will, and then uh has the highest likelihood of manifesting.
>> And but when your desire is connected to a purpose, well, service, the shift is purely biological. Your body stops treating your goal like a threat and starts treating it like direction. And those synchronicities people love to post about not just mystical, just your brain doing exactly what it was built to do. Once you stop terrifying it. Of the neuroscience stops at the skull. It tells you about the networks, the neurons, the nervous system states. All real, all important, but it misses something that ancient traditions have known for thousands of years. You're not just a brain in a body. You're a frequency. Every cell in your body is vibrating. Your heart generates an electromagnetic field measurable up to 3 ft outside your body. 60 times stronger than the field of your brain. And the heart math Institute has been documented this for decades. You are literally broadcasting. And here's what mainstream neuroscience can't fully explain. Why do you walk into a room and instantly feel attention before anyone speaks? And why does a person light up the space and another one can drain you without saying a word? And this is why two people can do the exact same morning routine, the exact same visualization, the exact same breathwork, and completely get different results. One is performing the practice and the other is broadcasting from it.
So, when I walk you through the morning practice in a moment, I want you to understand something. You're not just regulating your nervous system. You're not just activating brain networks. You are tuning the instrument you are.
Coherence isn't a metaphor. It's measurable. And it's the frequency life responds to.
Here's where most people get it wrong.
They wake up, they grab the phone, they start to scroll, they check their email, absorb 14 different people's anxiety before their feet even hit the floor, and then they wonder why their day feels like they're swimming upstream. So, listen to me. The first 10 minutes of your morning aren't just 10 minutes.
They're your tuning. You set your frequency that you carry for the next 14 hours. And miss that window, and you spend the whole day trying to claw your way back to yourself.
And in my work, I use a structured practice that I call coherence reset.
Three layers. Energy, thoughts, and frequency. Because you can't rewire one without the others. So, let me walk you through this. Layer one, reset the energy. Before your to-do list, before anything, you come back to your body.
Slow breath in through the nose, and longer breath out. And let your belly actually move.
Most of us have been breathing like we're being chased for years. We don't even know what it's like to take a real breath and feel that anymore. And it isn't about being spiritual, it's about telling your body the truth. We're safe.
Nothing is chasing us, and we can put the armor down. Because here's what I've seen over and over again. You cannot manifest anything real from the body that thinks it's under attack. It just can't. Your biology won't let you. So, we breathe first, we soften, and we come home. Layer two, reset the thoughts.
Now, here's where most morning routines go sideways. People jump straight into their affirmations. I am abundant. I am worthy. I am magnetic. And their nervous system sitting there going, "Who are you kidding?"
You can't affirm your way past a body that doesn't believe you.
So, instead, we start with aha.
Gratitude. Not the performative kind, the real kind. Like, look out your window and notice the light, and think of person you love, one thing your body did for you yesterday without you asking.
Awe is the one state that quiets the inner critic without a fight. It doesn't argue with the noise. It just dissolves it. And suddenly there's room, room for a thought that actually matters. Layer three, reset the frequency. This is the layer nobody talks about, and it's where everything shifts. You've settled the body, you've softened the mind. Now you set the signal, whatever you're calling in, and write it down, and read it out loud. And here's the part people skip.
Feel it in your chest before you move on. Not in your head, in your chest.
Because if you can't feel it now, you won't recognize it when it arrives. And this is where I'm going to be really honest with you. The intention itself matters more than you think. If you're chasing something to prove that you're finally enough, your body will hear about as a threat every single time.
You'll stay stuck, no matter how pretty the vision board is. But when your intention is connected to something bigger than just you, let's say your purpose or people, what you're here to give, your whole system relaxes and it opens up. It starts working with you instead of against you. That's the frequency life actually responds to. If you're doing everything right and nothing's moving, I want you to sit with you here for a second. Because this was the moment most people give up, and I don't want you to miss what's actually happening underneath. There will be days when you do all of this, and and your life looks exactly the same. The call doesn't come, the opportunity doesn't land, someone you love still struggles.
You're you're still in your kitchen in your robe wondering why any of this is working. But, keep going. Here's the honest truth that I've learned after 25 years of doing this work myself. Most people don't quit because the practice isn't working. They quit because the shifts are already happening. And they're missing them. The sideways glance from a stranger that made you feel seen. The idea maybe that came out of nowhere in the shower. The phone call that you almost didn't take. The way you didn't react to something that you would have wrecked you 6 months ago. Those are the shifts. That's your frequency changing. That's the life beginning to respond. And you'll dismiss them almost every single time because they don't look like what you were waiting for. And that's exactly why the very first thing I do with my clients is take them through a 30-day process together, directly. Not because the practice is complicated. It's not. It's 15 minutes a day. That's it. But, in in those 15 minutes when they're done consistently with someone watching alongside you, something real starts to build. We build a muscle of conviction. Because conviction isn't a feeling you wait for.
It's a miracle you train. We track the shifts that you'd otherwise miss. The subtle ones. The ones that your old nervous system is trained to dismiss as coincidences. I catch them with you. I mirror them back until you start catching them yourself. And that's the game changer. Not the practice alone.
The witnessing of the practice. Of what the practice is doing. Because the truth is, you've been dismissing your own evidence your whole life. And minimizing your wins. Explaining them away as synchronicities. Chalking it up to luck.
