How many baking sheets does it take to stop a bullet? My name's Parker. Welcome back to E Life where we take anything and everything and we shoot it with guns and we see what happens. Today we have over 40 baking sheets lined up here. We have Fred at the end. Will Fred survive the video or will one of our powerful rounds make it all the way through all of these sheets. We're going to start small as usual, work our way all the way up to the 50 cal, and we're going to see how many baking sheets it would take to stop each round that we shoot at it. We are starting out with a Ruger MarkV little guy shooting around of 22. How many sheets will it go through? Let's see.
>> How many sheets do you think it's going to go through?
>> Uh, like >> squishing your head right now, dude.
>> What are you doing?
>> Squishing your head.
>> Don't do that.
>> Sorry.

>> Just forget it. Here we go. Here's our 22. Insert baking sheet.
>> You are standing in an amp pile, by the way.

>> Did it stop it?
>> Hit the roof. I see the bullet right here on the second uh 2x4. Went through one, two, bounced off of number three.
And here's our bullet right here. Two baking sheets. So, these things are pretty durable. Moving up to the Glock 19. Shooting around a 9 mil. You guys know the drill. Every time I shoot the 9 mil, I do a trick shot. I eject the round out of the chamber. I try to get it to come back in the chamber. I've never gotten it. Maybe today will be the day if it's not for negative Nancy behind the camera here.
>> Go right ahead, man.
>> Do you believe in me?
>> Of course.
Not.
>> You got to angle it down. You got to soft it like pew view.
>> Ready?
>> I'm ready.
>> Here we go. Firing.
Whoa. Oh, I can see pretty far through that hole.
>> It went pretty far. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19. Okay, so it went through 19 and then I'm not even seeing a mark on number 20. And the bullet is right down here. There you go.
Ow. It is very hot. It's all squished.
Ow. Let's move up. Next up, 1911. Shooting around a 45 ACP. Fatter round. Moving slightly slower. How will it compare to the 9 mil? Let's see. Here we go.

Look at the size of that entry. 45 ACP.
Big boy. How many did it go through?
Let's see. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14. Bounced off of 14. There you go.
1911. Went through 13. Significantly less than 9 mil. Uh so 9 mil is still in the lead at 19 baking sheets. Let's move up. Next up we have the We have the mighty 44 Magnum. Shooting a round of bear load here. Zach, you know what?
This is actually reminding me of I was on an Alaskan cruise 2010. Great year.
>> Bear hijacks the ship. I run into the cockpit. We're wrestling. Somehow we end up at the edge of the railing. I'm holding on to this mighty grizzly bear's >> big old meaty pole.
>> He looks up at me with these puppy all eyes. I'm holding on to him. Lose my grip.

>> There wasn't even a 44 magnum in that story. What does that have anything to do with what we're doing right now?
>> It had just it I had had the the bear No, I promise. And even even it's it was it's a bit of witness these.
>> All right, here we go. 44 Magnum versus baking sheets firing.
>> Feel good.
>> Gets me, man. Big entry right here from the 44 Magnum. Look at this like discoloring on the sheet. Just the force of that thing. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11.
Look at the size of that entry. 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 and there's the round right there. One more than the 9 mil. Boom. Not much further than the 9 mil. That's super surprising actually.
Look at that little guy. Look at the back of the sack. It's cracked. It hit number 21 so hard, but it didn't make it through. So, 20 sheets for the 44 Magnum. One more than the 9 mil.
Surprisingly close between the 44 Magnum barrel load and the regular full metal jacket 9 mil. New leader. Let's move up.
Next up, the mighty Desert Eagle. The biggest handgun so far. The most destructiveness so far.
>> Destructiveness >> should go through a lot. Zach, here we go. Desert Eagle shooting around a 50 AE with this bad boy. See what it does.

Oh, monster handgun. Just like espresso shot for the body entry right here.
Let's see how far it went. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22. It officially beat the 44 Magnum. 23 24. Not much further.
>> Bounced off 24 or made it through 24.
>> 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8. It made it clean through 23. Bounced off of number 24.
Here we have a new leader. The Let me find it. Okay, let me find it. Get it then. I found the bullet.
Here's our bullet right here. There's the back of it. All smooshed and warped.
Thank you. So, uh, 23 new leader Desert Eagle. Let's move up to some rifles.
Okay, this is our last gun before we change out our sheets. We are moving up to the 12 gauge. We're shooting a slug.
Let's see how this compares to these handguns. I'm excited. Let's see, Zach.
I'm going to try to aim a little on the left side here. Try to get us a fresh area on our sheet. Whatever works, brother.
>> Are you ready?
I'm going have to reset up all the pans.
Fred just wound up in the middle down there. He's just face down in the middle of all the sheets. Okay, so the slug entered right here. Went through 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15. So this is number 16 right here. That was right here. So it went clean through 15, bounced off of number 16, and then the force of that slug hit all of these 2x4s that were sitting right here, and it just caused our whole back half to collapse here. It looked like the slug went through all of them for a second.
Uh there you go. There's our slug.
>> 15 sheets for the >> Go ahead.
>> Just going to say neato. Forget it.
>> All right. Moving up to the rifles. We have an AK-47. We're shooting a round of 762 by 39. This is actually a new one, Zach. We haven't shot this one yet.
Might do a little test shot with it.
You want to pop off a couple shots with it? Pop them off, dude.

>> Got Fred right in the face.

>> Yeah.

Pretty dark. It's a little hard to see, but you see that bullet just like race through all the sheets and then at the end there's like a either a piece from the bullet or a piece of one of the baking sheets.

Still going. 21 22 23. There it is right there. It's a bullet from an AK after it shot. I've actually never seen that.

Oh, that was sweet. You can see it just shooting through each sheet. Dust coming out on the side here. Hopefully it didn't come out the side, Zach.

Look at the bullet. Completely sideways compared to the AK. 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18. Look at the size of that. 19 20 21 22 23 24. There was the AK. It's officially beating that. 25 26 27 28.
And then look over here. It's like a little slug. It's like a slimy little slug. What in the world? Look at that thing, Zach. I've never seen it look that color. It looks like a little like a muscle or something. One of those little worms. So the 308 is our new leader. It made it through 27 baking sheets. Bounced off of number 28. It was so close to going through number 28, too. There's a huge crack opened up, but didn't make it through. Scar is the new leader. Next up, I'm excited. We have the 300 6, which was our winner of the whole thing last week with the paper plates. Will the boltaction 300 6 beat the SCAR again? And then after that, we'll move up to the 50 cal. Let's do it. Eagle One joining us today. Our eyes in the sky, always watching.

Can you imagine having two little baking sheets being all that's stopping a bullet in front of you? Now the question is will the 50 cal stay straight enough? I mean, this thing's driving like Dale Nhard out here. It's going off to the side. Starting center.

>> Wow. So, can the 50 cal stay straight enough through these pans? And will it go through all 34? All right, here we go. This is the moment you've been waiting for. It is time to see if these 34 baking sheets would stop a 50 BMG. We have our round here ready to go in our mag. Eagle one. This is Ghost Rider requesting clearance to engage target.

Fred a big flash there at like sheet number seven and you just see it go through every single pan and then the whole backside falls down afterwards. It >> did not look good for Fred. Zach, this doesn't look good.
>> No, this doesn't look good one bit.
>> That was a mess.
>> Number one, because it's a huge mess.
Number two, because I don't think we're going to be able to count the sheets.
Number three.
You fooled me. Can't get fooled again.
>> It fooled me. We can't get fooled again.
>> Here was our hit right here in the center of number one. Wow. Look at where it ignited right here. Lots of charring on these sheets. Continued all the way through here. And I mean, we just have a massive mess back here. All of these sheets were untouched. I'm seeing I mean, look at some of these. Look at where that bullet just like broke apart.
There's like three entries and three exits. I guess we just have to check Fred.
And he has a big hole right here, Zach.
Shaped exactly like a 50 cal out the other side. So, finally 50 cal was able to stay straight. I mean, look, it got pretty close, it looks like, to veering off, but it was able to stay straight.
Made it all the way through to Fred. So, these 34 baking sheets were not able to stop the mighty 50 cal. Fred finally saw his end in one of our videos. Thank you guys for watching. We'll see you in the next one.
