Gas prices rise 32 cents in Michigan

But, I don't want you to focus on this marquee that's near Hilton and 10 Mile roads where it says 479. That's only if you got your Kroger points. It is close to $5.00 at $4.99.

[00:00:20]This price jump is what fuel analysts have been warning drivers about this week here in Michigan. GasBuddy reports the Great Lakes State could possibly see a price hike of 65 cents a gallon just this week alone. So, this morning, I did the math looking at the fuel tracking company's data. If we go back to Sunday, which is April 26th to this moment, regular gas prices jumped by 59 cents a gallon. Meanwhile, protests are erupting around the world including in Warren.

Sometimes there's a lag by a few hours, but for example, when I plug in for Ferndale, you can see the spread here in town which is the lowest the highest price here in Ferndale is 92 cents. $4.99 at this gas station, that would be on the high end.
