Reservoirs and canals deliver essential water, helping plants survive early growth stages. Once trees successfully take deep root, they store moisture and block wind, allowing grasses and shrubs to spread. Slowly, small patches of green expand until they merge into vast green belts, forming a natural protective desert barrier against the advancing desertification threat itself. And experts now call it gamecher technology. Even NASA studies these restoration methods closely.
