[00:00:00]Plaintiff Tiffany Galloway says a year after she started dating the defendant they moved [music] in together and everything changed. Tiffany claims her ex ran up their first [music] month's cable bill ordering porn and he's been to jail three times [music] in the past five months for selling drugs and carrying guns. Tiffany's suing her ex for bond money, unpaid bills and car damages. [music] Defendant James Roberson admits that he ordered pornographic movies on their cable bill but insists [music] he and Tiffany were watching them together.

[00:00:30]James is counter suing his ex for emotional distress [music] because he claims Tiffany's constant arguing caused his ulcer to flare up. Start with you.

[00:00:45]He seemed like a great guy at the time.

[00:00:48]Had his life going in the right path. He was in school full-time. He went to work full-time. He owned a car. He had hobbies. He stayed with me at my mom's house overnight almost every night.

I don't exactly know what happened because he lies so much and he's had so many run-ins with people with I found out he was selling drugs and carrying guns. He's went to jail three times within the past 5 months, basically.

The only thing really that I'm here to testify about is the fact of the emotional stress that she's been through ever since they've started dating as far as the not paying bills, him promising after the car was totaled that he would pick her up, take her to and from work. That was stuff that was never upheld. The fact that, you know, she's tried to kick him out of the house several times, but because his name is on the lease, he will not leave and she can't get him to leave.

[00:08:35]So, I'm just curious, what college, what stage of college were you in? I uh completed a semester. Why did you stop? I mean, I I needed money, so I had to work more. I mean, I had bills and whatever.

[00:08:47]>> not obtain financial aid? I don't know what happened to my financial aid. I know I had it, but You didn't go to office and ask?

[00:08:56]>> I did. My financial aid went towards my tuition and they didn't give me nothing but like $500 back.

[00:09:08]SO, why couldn't you use that money for college? You just wanted to be a gangster. What type of household do you come from? You come from a You live in a drug and crime-infested neighborhood. Is that how you grew up?

From From drug money or from >> No, his dad paid for His dad paid the car note. His dad paid his cell phone bill. His dad paid his insurance.

[00:09:40]He's been watching too many gangster videos. That's what happened to all these young guys. Even in the suburbs, middle class, upper middle class guys, they walking around trying to be thugs and don't have a reason to be a thug in the world. You all need to stop watching these videos.
