[00:01:54]So before stream, before stream, as I often do, I was browsing twitter.com.

[00:02:01]Okay, I was browsing twitter.com. I was looking around and I came across something and I was like, no.

[00:02:10]My first additional thought was like, no, this can't be right. And then I looked a little deeper. Okay, so for those of you that don't know on Twitter at the minute, another streamer I play a lot of Minecraft with, as you know, is Hyper >> in the regime. Play a lot of QSMP together. I was looking on Twitter and I saw a bunch of screenshots of him on Twitter saying the N word, which obviously doesn't need to be said, is not okay.

[00:02:40]But then I looked a little bit deeper. I looked a little bit deeper about where these screenshots came from and it gave me reasonable thought to believe that these are fabricated done with bad faith. So there was some Discord screenshots that were I believe inspect elemented and if you don't know what that is, it means Discord is basically built on Chromium which is the same software that runs Google Chrome. And on Google Chrome, you can press F12 on your keyboard and edit anything on the web page. And that's no exception for Discord. You can do that same thing to Discord. Now, I had never seen it done with a photograph before, but I reached out to some very knowledgeable developer friends of mine who showed me it is just as easy to change a Discord image and add a screenshot as it is just to change the text.

[00:03:42]Then there was something else I came across which was WhatsApp. a single screenshot of a WhatsApp message also containing the slur, right? I looked at that and then I was like, well, I have hyper on WhatsApp.

[00:04:01]So, I then I then checked and first of all, the profile picture did not match the profile picture I have for Hyper on WhatsApp. And profile pictures on WhatsApp are global.

[00:04:16]It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter how old the messages are. The pro the screenshot the profile picture would still be the most up-to-date one.

[00:04:27]And unless that screenshot was taken years ago or like months back then potentially, but also that's just one thing. I also then realized that the font of the name on the WhatsApp was entirely different to the font I have on my WhatsApp on my phone. It was also entirely different to the fonts of names on WhatsApp on iOS and on and on um Android for old and newer versions. I looked at screenshots of whats messages looks like on desktop. I looked at screenshots of what they look like on Android. I looked at screenshots of what they look like at old versions of WhatsApp and new. And I couldn't find anything that matches. I then also looked at the shape of the text bubbles.

[00:05:22]Again, I could not find a version of WhatsApp which had the same looking text bubbles, the same name font and um there was another thing as well. The same name font and like also the boldness of the messages as well.

[00:05:42]Also the boldness of them like I look because like listen I would consider hyper a friend of mine. I also am not naive. I've done streaming for a really long time. I've done streaming for a ridiculously long time. I have been misled by many other streamers in the past and lied to a ton. So, I did all of this independently of asking Hyper about any of the images I saw.

[00:06:11]But also, that being said, I also know how much it sucks to be falsely accused of stuff. In the last three years of my career, on two separate accounts, I've been falsely accused of sexual assault.

[00:06:23]And that is serious and is is horrible to go through. It is genuinely horrible.

[00:06:28]And and then after the the falsely accused, people have given me and be like, "Yeah, it was a social experiment.

[00:06:34]Like, what the hell?" Like, you guys remember that? You were there for that.

[00:06:37]So, I was also like, "This isn't adding up. This isn't adding up."

[00:06:44]So, I made this tweet.

[00:06:47]I said, "Listen, this hyper stuff I'm 90% sure is fabricated because I can't be 100% sure. What I can be 100% sure is that the WhatsApp messages are fabricated." And that also leads me to believe if the if the WhatsApp messages were fabricated, why would you include fabricated evidence with real evidence?

[00:07:14]First of all, that makes no sense. That makes no sense.

[00:07:20]So, I made this tweet. I said, "I have Hyper on WhatsApp and the profile picture does not match. Additionally, the font is different and the call button and the text bubbles. I looked at versions of WhatsApp on iOS and Android, new and old versions, and I can't find where all of those things are consistent anywhere." In regard to the Discord messages, I spoke to developer friends that showed me how easy it is to fabricate and even replace images with other images using Inspect Element. And then I followed up and I said, I know I'm not involved in this and I don't want to make anything worse because I genuinely don't. Like, however, that being said, I can't help but feel this is an attempt of oh of of brilliant typo of of character assassination done definitely in bad faith.

[00:08:11]If I'm wrong about this, I 100% apologize, but I would also feel wrong as someone who has had this kind of smear done to them before if I didn't say anything.

But what I do know is that the WhatsApp was fabricated.

Doxing 101. First of all, it doesn't make sense in a WhatsApp profile picture where if anyone gets your number, they can see you have a gold play button and post on the internet. Doxing 101.
