This is what we we talked about last time, but we didn't get a chance to jump into it. But I want to do this because ultimately I want to I want to talk about Noel. And I want to talk about Noel in two different ways, right?

[00:01:40]You know, I'll be honest. I think she's struggling in in in one major aspect that is highlighted in the weird route and it's a mix between red and purple and lural.

[00:02:08]Yep. Yep. It's the ability to stand up for themselves. It's the ability to to get to do certain things, which is why we're going to go ahead and talk about this. And actually, I want to start off by talking about healthy relationships.

[00:02:22]That's going to be a big element that we talk about as we go into Noel. Okay? And expectations as well. You know, what is she lacking from Red? Okay. Is she secure in self?

[00:02:38]Is she secure in in in in the family?

[00:02:41]Not necess like, you know, is there is all of her family there with her, right?

[00:02:46]Or has she had trauma inside of the inside of the red area? Probably not.

[00:02:51]There's probably issues and we already see the power dynamic issues that are happening inside of that. By the way, security and and family particularly means, do you feel like you can genuinely be yourself when you're with your family? that your family listens to you, that your family cares about you, that your family shows you love and support where needed, or do you feel like it's yet you're stepping on glass? If you're stepping on glass, it's not necessarily security, you know?

Carol uh and that's a key area right is like if again you don't have to meet every single area in the Maso's hierarchy of needs to be a functioning individual in society but wherever you lack certain areas that's going to be little pain points that you're going through you know that's going to be uh pain points that you're like trying to work towards or work through so that's why I highlight this because we're looking at areas where family might not necessarily be uh yeah and and in in that process it's causing an insecurity for uh Noel, you know, so I would put it uh red red and purple, you know, with an element of, you know, them trying to find themselves and their relationships. Green, you know, whatever that may be. Okay, y'all ready?

The differences between the normal and the weird route because it is important to explore the avenue in which things are going and have gone so far to influence Noel in both a positive and a traumatic way. She can't even open uh her own gate to her house. She definitely isn't free. Right.

[00:08:16]It's it's a mix between both. And I would agree with that. So attachment style is ambiguous with anxiety. Anxious plus fearful.

And it's important that we talk about all of this chat because ultimately once you have this frame of reference, you guys are understanding how I'm connecting things. How I'm connecting these characters to certain events and possibilities of them acting or or doing stuff or breaking stuff down for them. This is what you always have to be thinking about. Polarized thinking. That's one. Uhhuh. What else?

[00:09:31]There you guys go. You guys You guys are getting it. You guys are understanding that there's a lot more to Noel. Where has she failed developmentally speaking for Noel? Where do you think where did she experience her first trauma?

[00:09:50]Probably around school age 6 to 11.

[00:09:59]So, let's read it. Right. And this time, we're going to put Noel in here. Noel needs to develop a sense of trust with caregivers. provide reliability, care, and affection. A lack of this will lead to mistrust. I think Noel believes that their world was safe.

[00:10:18]Um, but I'm not sure how much the weird route might affect things depending on how weird we get this time. Uh Noel needs to develop a personal sense of control over over her skills and a sense of independence. Success leads to feeling of autonomy. Failure results in feelings and shame. Can she do things by herself or does she always need to rely on others? Oh, that's an early childhood one. Maybe, you know, depends. That depends. Okay, next one. Noel needs to begin asserting control and power over their environment. Success in the state leads to a new sense of purpose. Noel, who tries to exert too much power, experienced disapproval, resulting in a sense of guilt with initiative, right? Taking the initiative to do things.

[00:11:10]Noel needs to cope with new social and academic demands. Success leads to a sense of competence and failure results in feelings of inferiority. Or she doesn't feel like she's enough. You know what that sounds that sounds that sounds I am never good enough. I am never enough. You know, how can I go ahead and and and meet up to the standards and expectations of what was left? I will never be like my sister, you know. Um you you name it. You name it.

[00:11:39]Noel needs to develop a sense of personal identity. Success leads to the ability to stay stay true while failure results in role confusion. Noel needs to form love uh needs to form intimate loving relationships with other people.

[00:11:55]Failure results in loneliness and isolations.

[00:12:01]Here's the thing, Wildwood, and we'll talk about this, right? We should always take the normal route over the weird route because the weird route, there's a thing called how how do I how do I frame this? Uh so it'll make sense for you guys. There are individuals that at times trauma can cause you to mask your milestones that you haven't met because you're so focused in on one thing improving that you'll just hyperfocus on that and like everything else doesn't seem as as as big as that traumatic uh moment. You know, it's a weak sense of self so it seems accurate. Yep. Yep. Yep. Yep. Yep.

[00:12:36]So that that's why at times you might see individuals who are hurt the most smile the brightest uh just because sometimes like while they're handling this many stuff you may only see this much you know. Mhm. Looks like metaton.

[00:12:58]I would say I would say definitely school age.

[00:13:04]school age, adolescence, young adult is is sort of where we're focused at at the moment. You know, it's developmental theory, EDT, um, school age, adolescence and young adult.

[00:13:28]Mhave, thanks so much for the sub. I appreciate it. So, I highlight all of these because it's important to know that like Noel is struggling. Even though even though they might be really really like, you know, put on a mask and be happy, they're still struggling with stuff at home and internally, they're going through quite a bit of stuff, you know, and when we're looking at this, we have to understand their defense mechanisms. So, what are their defense mechanisms for Noel?

[00:13:58]Okay. For me, one of the big ones that we can we can definitely see, right? We haven't reflected on that until now.

[00:14:07]Yeah. We do a lot of these these elements, these things without fully understanding, right?

[00:14:14]What's one that like reaction, formation, feeling one way, acting another. Yeah. Or react formate. Yeah.

[00:14:24]Identification.

[00:14:31]In the weird route, it's displacement.

[00:14:37]In the weird route, you get a lot of displacement and compensation in in some in some areas. Yep. Compensate. Yep. Cool.

[00:14:47]So, let's zoom on out. We were just talking about Noel. Noel seems to be struggling at a foundational need and with aspects of self-esteem. When we take a look into their aspects, it seems to be safety is a major concern. And with even like their archetypes, the mask that they wear inside versus outside, it seems as though they're struggling with safety, innovation, belonging, uh you know, being having mastery and control over self and feeling liberated, being able to go ahead and feel free. When we're looking at their attachment style, it looks as though they're anxious and fearful, right? Where at the same time, they might get jealous and, you know, overcommunicate at times. They're fearful of being rejected of no longer uh being loved for who they are. And when we take a look at it, we understand that their cognitive distortions tend to come from polarized thinking and mental filtering and jumping to conclusions. as Noel has developed a defense mechanism to identify themselves as someone else to compensate displace and reaction formation, you know, react one way, think another way, right? Uh in order to deal with all the different elements that are there, but it's seen commonly in kids because when you take a look at it from school age to adolescence and even young adulthood, they're currently struggling with a lot of their personal emotions. Now that we've taken into consideration all of this, I want like how does this make you feel about Noel? For me, it's highlighting that Noel.

[00:16:14]I think the disappearance really affected Noel. I think if you're going to take a look at milestones missed, the the milestone absolutely absolutely affected her in some cap some capacity, right? the disappearance absolutely affected her. If you take another another thing into into account here is what is Noel going to do going forward.

[00:16:41]And the normal route, we're we're establishing like a healthy relationship with Suzie, right? And it's talking about this aspect of how do individuals come together and start to meet one another, right? And have this aspect of communication with one another.

[00:16:56]What about with Chris?

[00:16:59]How's that looking with them?

[00:17:03]Does that influence her thinking as to why she thought about running away?

[00:17:06]Yeah. Imagine thinking about all of this, right? You are not like this is telling me that this is someone that feels as though they are not enough that like they should just listen to what others tell them, right? This is someone that like safety is at risk, right? They don't have any control. They don't feel free. And you want to talk about a motif. Isn't freedom a motif that keeps popping up for a lot of these these characters and a lot of themes? Uh, is no L able to form real uh connections with their peers or is there always an aspect of distance?

[00:17:40]There's always though it's going to be hard to really fully connect with someone without the fear of them leaving.

[00:17:47]Right? So talking about this, right, one of the big things I I I will say is with the Susie Noel route, you have more of what's considered like a healthy relationship, right? Like slowly but surely getting into healthy relationship and well here's the psychology motifs in all these in all these characters that we've addressed. You ready? Get close.

[00:18:16]Freedom. That's the motif in every psychological character that we're seeing. Freedom from Asgore, right?

[00:18:23]Where Asgore wants the freedom to go ahead and, you know, pursue his likes, pursue Toriel, uh, be able to go ahead and be free, right? Chris, freedom.

[00:18:34]Noel, freedom. Every character, psychologically speaking, that we're analyzing and we're throwing up here, freedom and liberation seems to be a big concern, which is interesting.

[00:18:49]You know, all roads lead to freedom. In some capacity, they can freedom school.

[00:18:56]But with Chris, I will say this. If you're Well, not even Chris, right? It's more like Hold on, let me let me get this up because it's not really Chris that is doing that. It's It's us.

[00:19:12]This is toxic. Here's why I'm scared. Susie Noel, a little bit more of a healthier attachment, right?

[00:19:25]I.e. allowing you should love in a way that allows the other individual to feel free. Remind yourself that at all times, right? You should feel loved and you should love in a way that you will always feel free.

[00:19:41]Good. A relationship is not 5050.

[00:19:45]A relationship is two complete individuals coming together to make life beautiful.

[00:19:51]And and I I say this because oftentimes I hear, oh well uh you know it's 5050 and it's like no you know sometimes you have to give a little bit more but it should be 100% of you meeting 100% of them and yeah sometimes don't get me wrong you might have a bad day and you might have to put in a little extra vice versa right but I highlight this because Susie Noel is showcasing the stability of what is and what would be considered a healthy relationship because ultimately it's allowing ing Susie to express her emotions in a way that feels loved and understood.

[00:20:35]Here's the thing. Chris is trying to fight us, aren't they?

[00:20:40]Chris is fighting the decisions we make in some of the weird route so far.

[00:21:32]We evoke fear, emotional abuse. Oh, wow. You know, gaslight You guys are starting to see some of that. Cool. Cool. What about What about here? What do we do?

[00:22:01]Minimizing, denying, blaming.

[00:22:11]By the way, sexual harassment. I I said sexual abuse, but it's sexual harassment. Harassment in general, right, is any unwanted approach or any unwanted touch, feelings, intimidation tactics, whatnot, such as, I don't know, putting a ring on someone that they don't want in any regard. They have not consented to you doing certain stuff. Uh, physical violence. What else? Harmful language, playing mind games, humiliating someone, making someone feel guilty, telling lies, social standing, technology. What else? What threats? I am scared.

[00:22:57]I am so scared for Noel. And I'm terrified because ultimately, what do you guys think think this is? What do you guys think this is? If we're checking off a lot of these boxes, if we're checking off a majority of these boxes, uh, and we're checking off, uh, all the other ones that we just talked about, that's a DV victim. That's a domestic violence victim. Now, here's the thing, right?

[00:23:36]At times like this, what happens to an individual that's really stressed out that we are identified to all of these issues? You know, caregiver, slave, follower, whatnot. What do you think happens to an individual where all of a sudden, you ready? You us, we're constantly dealing with these thoughts.

[00:23:55]Are we the innocent? Are we victim or are him breaking all of these things?

[00:23:59]Right? All of a sudden, you don't have to worry about this side.

[00:24:05]You just have to focus on this side.

[00:24:11]What do you think happens to a person when someone comes through and controls essentially ends up controlling what you are?

[00:24:24]Now, there's two dichotoies to this, right? Number one, victims. It could be a psyche break.

[00:24:31]Absolutely. But for a lot of for some individuals, how nice how would it feel for you to not have to constantly be questioning yourself uh in the way that like normal root Noel is going through as to where they go, how an how to feel, how to be anxious. How would it how would you feel to be told to just like not have to be afraid of thinking anymore or not have to be uh constantly uh afraid of decisions and to just do it just to keep going?

[00:25:03]You're getting it. You're understanding where I'm coming from. This is why I'm afraid because this is classic aspects of an abusive relationship. And in fact, it is the classic makings of a relationship that can end up in a form of Stockholm syndrome in a relationship where you'll start seeing uh Noel or others start fawning. And it's it's it's kind of interesting because isn't she a dope, you know, where all of a sudden she starts thinking control is freedom.

All of a sudden, you start seeing a fawn response, right, of like like we can we could do and you'll often see this in in DV victims after a prolonged period of time or even when like certain stuff that made them anxious is no longer there because of this aspect or belief that oh but they weren't always this way.

[00:25:56]Chris Chris wasn't always this way. But ever since Chris started acting this way, guess what? I'm less anxious.

[00:26:03]And and even though that they're Yeah.

[00:26:05]Even though they start dissociating or derealizing, depersonalizing, right?

[00:26:08]Even though you see them struggle with a majority of fitting in, of doing normal stuff, all of a sudden it's no longer uh you know, it's no longer that person's fault, right? It's like, oh, you're the one that it's everyone versus them, right? Fawning because she's a fawn.

[00:26:23]Does this make sense? Does this highlight the different roots in my one?

[00:26:26]Like the Susie Susie Noel route is is a is the healthiest route out there, but Noel and the soul is actually kind of signs of an extremely abusive relationship.

[00:26:38]And here's the thing, what happens in a lot of these relationships, chat, how her mother is a control freak. Yeah.

[00:26:47]What happens in in in relationships like this? If let's say uh the soul, right, us were to try and go go away or like we're try we we're to try and like like leave them be or try go ahead and and and dip out. What do you think would happen to them?

[00:27:08]Uh that's why I'm really worried. I'm really worried about I would get this is why there needs to be a lot of therapy because you have different reactions to this. Some victims, right, absolutely feel relief. Other victims, right, the the as abusers at times will try and put their relationship on the line as a form of control. Oh, okay. Well, then I'm leaving. No, no, I'll do anything you want. Right? Because they're afraid of their partner leaving. And so they'll use that threat consistently as a form of control.

[00:27:45]At times, even encouraging hurtful actions to themselves or to others.

[00:27:52]The threat of losing that codependency could ruin her. You're getting why I'm afraid. You're getting why I'm afraid of just the weird route in general. Because as the weird route is proceeding, it is just unfolding into the most unhealthy uh you know relationship that I have seen in a long time. And and I think and what makes me afraid is that there might be individuals that don't fully acknowledge that Noel in the soul is extremely unhealthy and that might actually be like excited, you know, to do a weird route or continue the weird route and like, you know, not see the gravity and the effect of like sometimes glorifying what a relationship like that can do, right? If Noel doesn't have the soul, then they don't have anything. If if the soul is giving them aspects of uh Well, what do you mean by that, Wildwood?

[01:44:09]I feel like Flowy wants to take care of Asgore just like or Asgore takes care of him. No, 100%. Goku child. That's what I'm getting at is like the inference that's coming from this is like they want to take care of Asgore. in as much as they possibly can.

[01:44:36]What? Okay. Could you compare the way that that Flowey wants to take care of Asgore the same way that we can compare Rousey the same that like how they want to take care of Chris and Susie?

[01:45:05]You don't think that Rousey would go towards like, you know, do anything and everything they can to try and protect them and hide painful truths to protect them emotionally, but I feel it does more harm than good. It can. It can.

Is we have Rousey that's personified as kind of a child, right? kind of a teenager, a young child with this. And Flowery is personified more as an adult, a college roommate, someone that knows how to communicate, someone that like it, the way that this is showcasing it, right, is like Rousey is still learning, you know, how to even be themselves and, you know, at times hides shoes that might be emotionally hurtful. But Flowey, you know, hides shoes not necessarily by not being open about them, but by obscuring them in the way a lot of adults do.

Meanwhile, Flower is just like giving everything away. And it's sort of making me wonder as well if maybe Rousey doesn't think that like Flowery is taking a bit of their power away. Not necessarily power, but like importance away from what they're supposed to be doing for the group. No. Yeah. I was I was mentioning that like for Rousey, it's as though Flowery is coming through and playing that important role that they're supposed to play, right? Which is like the the lore keeper, information holder, all of this stuff. So, his role is feel Yeah. his role is is being threatened at this point in time. I mean, it makes sense why he's reacting that way, but it's just like it's very interesting to see Rousey just react that way in general.

[01:56:54]>> That would probably make me want to like depersonalize. Just realize like, oh, this none of this is real.

[01:57:06]It ends up being like like mental health wise, right? It ends up hurting a lot of individuals, especially if they think that they are real. Uh, and it ends up that they're in a game. Like ultimately, you lose a sense of purpose. You lose like if we ended up finding out today like, hey, nothing is real. Everything is an illusion, a simulation. Um, you know, and you can actually there's someone else that's controlling you and there's text bars underneath, right? All of a sudden it's like, do any of your actions even matter? if at the end of the day you're under somebody else's control.

[01:57:42]>> Yeah, that's a solid point. Honestly, we saw a similar thing in the amazing digital circuit streams.

[01:57:51]Which is a wonderful parallel, I think, at least with the the what was the name of the book? Uh I have no mouth and I must scream.

[01:58:01]>> Yeah. Could you escape escape the confines of the game. Which is why I'm thinking, is the Dark Knight even like bad or are they trying to break through the this survey that is being created?

[01:58:31]Well, the thing is is is trying to break the game or end the game. Are those two different sides of the same coin?

[01:58:37]>> Right. Well, and and take it a step further, right? Hold on. Now, now that we're getting into into like this sort of combo, right? Um you've heard of uh quality testers, right? Where like they'll try and find glitches and boundaries and they know like they they try and Yeah, exactly.

[01:58:55]They try and find anything and everything they can to exploit it. So, it's like it's making me wonder, are there certain individuals like the Dark Knight that essentially has been finding glitches, has been finding stuff like this, and maybe teamed up with Chris because Chris somehow found out and their whole aspect is just to reveal the truth, not necessarily, and keep people safe in in their bunker, you know, as opposed to um whatever we're doing with Rousey.

[01:59:23]>> I mean, I imagine so.

[01:59:31]Dark Knight is usually considered a superhero even if uh vigil Yeah, vigilantism is not really legal. I don't know. I think that's interesting. That's such an interesting topic to go into because it's like what is reality, you know, in this game? And if your players understand that you're in the game, how many loops or cycles have they gone through? And how many loops and cycles does have has Chris gone through that they're aware of?

[02:00:00]Sarinelia uh mentioned just because you don't have control doesn't mean you don't experience feelings and can't make most of what you have under your control. Personally available uh happiness. Yes. But you know for most individuals it's like your experience are what makes you. But if you find out that at any point in time someone from the outside can shut off the game that that is an existential level of fear that comes through with it that you're your life is meaningless. Uh and that's what a lot of individuals start falling into, right? Is my life is meaningless.

[02:00:30]I have no control. All my experiences are just mimics of whatever's out there and I'm essentially just a puppet. It's like if The Sims ended up being a real thing, you know, and it's like, "Ooh, ooh, that's tough." So, what do you think of Flowy?

So, the fact that Flowery is there and is making Asgore feel good or at least like, you know, kind of trying to fulfill his every request that that that they've had, I it's making me wonder if Flowery sees themselves a as kid and is trying to meet the things that like, you know, kind of like the the empty holes in Asgore's heart in that manner. In that way, >> it also makes me wonder how much of a weeb Asgore is because uh seeing the whole like cowboy thing and whatnot and like we're in Japan setting, it's like how how much of a weeb is Asgore?

[02:05:39]Uh, last thing I would like to ask is like everyone is like reminiscing over something or being jealous of something.

[02:06:49]But I I mean, it's kind of difficult at times to come come to your own feelings at times. So, yeah, they they definitely uh were going. So, one more thing I'm wondering is like what were they doing all night last night?

[02:07:07]>> Cuz like they were outside all night last night, right?

[02:07:09]>> Right. What were they up to?

[02:07:12]>> Well, what are they setting up? Like what is the surprise? Right. And I have a feeling like this has to be the calm before the storm. We've been facing a lot of enemies. We've been facing a lot of like, you know, the lore building.

[02:07:23]And I feel like, you know, we're we're at we're at this festival point. It's so sad that he shattered across time and space right now.
