The video correctly frames GLP-1 as a biological tool that requires strict lifestyle discipline rather than a magic shortcut that permits old habits. It effectively highlights that sustainable weight loss is a game of metabolic consistency where "cheat days" simply disrupt physiological momentum.

The Cheat Days Might Be Ruining Her GLP-1 Journey | Coy Baker Weight Loss Journey ReactionAdded:
All them people was like, "Oh, don't get on that GLP. Don't get on that GP. You sick." Do you see this jawline?
>> It feels like our girl is not losing weight in the way that she should be at this point. Or would you rather just live a demonically gluttonous life alongside your loved ones and you all just die together? Hi, my name is Mashi.
I'm formerly overweight and currently over the excuses. And welcome to my channel where I react to what people are eating. Okay, fat people. And today we're doing another GLP1 weight loss journey reaction. You guys simply cannot get enough of these and I have to keep delivering them. I have no choice. And today's GLP1 journey is of our girl Koi.
Our girl Koi has been on a GLP1 since 2024. So, she has quite a bit of experience with the GLP1. And we're going to be following her journey since its very beginning to understand how exactly is our girl doing. Is she coping? Is she losing weight? Is she locking in? Is she failing to lock in?
Is there any advice we can give her? Is there any advice she can give to us? So, we're kicking things off with a post from our girl from October 2024. This is just about a month before our girl started her weight loss journey. And I just want to get to understand how exactly was our girl living her life before the GLP1 journey. How demonic was her gluttony? Let's find out.
>> Yeah.
>> Okay. So, the caption here is water burger for breakfast or water burger. I don't know if it's water burger or Americans. We don't have this in South Africa. I don't even know what water burger is. And our girl in that caption says that she went for pancakes for breakfast here. So, nothing too bad about pancakes. The issue is what people put on top of pancakes. Pancakes contain a decent amount of protein, especially depending on how many eggs you're using to make your pancakes. But once you start drizzling butter and syrup and all kinds of demonic gluttony on these pancakes, the ratio of protein to calories no longer makes sense. And remember the golden rule when it comes to protein, the 10% rule. If you're eating 1,000 calories, there better be 100 g of protein in that. If you're eating 500 calories, there better be 50 g of protein in that. Try keep all the foods that you're eating within that 10% protein range. If you're not sticking within that 10% rule, you will never actually feel satiated. You will always feel hungry and you'll always be chasing your next meal.
>> There's one person in this world that I do not want to watch my video, but that person is not you. So, please watch this video. Check this out.
>> So, this video was posted in 2024 December. And this is actually a month after our girl started her GLP1 journey.
Our girl did not post the beginning of her GLP1 journey, but we're going to be taking it from the point at which she posted, which is 5 weeks in. Reading her caption, she wrote here, "I started a GLP1 a little over 5 weeks ago, and my body can definitely tell I'm excited about this journey. Let me know if you want some more content on it." So, looking at the hashtags, our girl used #TE # Munjaro. So, our girl is on her GLP1 journey. She's been on it for 5 months. And let's find out the progress she's making.
>> See that? Do y'all see that?
Y'all see that collar bone? Do y'all see that collar bone? Yeah.
Your girl losing weight. Yeah. Yeah.
This morning in the mirror and I was like, "Okay, collar bone pop through."
It's very subtle, but it is there. It is a non-scale victory and I'm proud.
There's one person in this room.
>> It is a non-scale victory and our girl has reason to celebrate and reason to be proud. There are so many things we take for granted, especially when you've never been all that obese. Seeing your collar bones, being able to see your feet, being able to just sit down without having to hold on to anything, being able to walk upstairs without holding on to anything. These may seem like small things to many of us, but these are things that you are giving up when you decide to live a gluttonous lifestyle. And looking in the comments, people are cheering our girl Koi on. And of course, we are cheering her on as well. Today is a beautiful Sunday indeed because I have over 200 followers now and I didn't even have to ask anybody to follow me. I just made a really good video. So, thank y'all for following me and for being here. I'm really excited to keep talking about my GLP1 journey.
Bye.
>> So, this is still 5 weeks after our girl's GLP1 journey. And the previous post that we just saw of her GLP1 journey went kind of viral and got our girl quite a number of followers for an account that she just started. So, it shows that there are so many other people out there who can relate to our girl. So, let's read the caption. You follow me because you want to see my GLP1 journey, have lost a co-parent, are a single mom, or you like supporting other women. Our girl is doing the most.
And what I love about our girl is despite having all these challenges, she is not deciding to be a victim. She's deciding to take her life in her hands and make a change for herself.
POV. Your tozopetite kicks in mid snack and the food immediately changes taste.
I can fully relate to this. I was on an appetite suppressant called really slim.
It was an oral. It was tablets that I took 2 in the morning, one in the afternoon. And as soon as I took that 2 in the morning, I would get to work. I would feel a bit hungry. And the moment it kicks in, I would have a cookie to my mouth. I'd have a packet of pretzels to my mouth. And I would immediately get turned off by that. I would immediately stop eating whatever I'm eating. You got to listen to those signals. You got to One thing that's never made sense to me are the people who get this signal in their brain and continue to eat. I simply don't understand how people can still continue to eat and eat and eat past the tricepite, past the ozic, past the munjaro. How do people do that? If you are one of the people who have been able to eat right past the GLP1, please let us know in the comments how you managed to do that. I would love to hear what demonically gluttonous behavior led you down that path. Next video.
>> I cheated. I cheated. I'm not going to lie to y'all. I cheated.
So, we are now in 2025 January and our girl's caption here is this GLP1 is doing something to my confidence. I'm so happy I started it 2 months ago. So, it's been 2 months now. And our girl, it sounds like she's already cheated. I'm just hoping she's not completely off track.
>> Cheated. I was not supposed to weigh until tomorrow, but I weighed in today and I saw that I lost another 2 lbs. And so, my confidence now is through the roof. But, I just want y'all to know I cheated. I went ahead and I weigh a day early, but we listen and we don't judge.
And so, tomorrow I'll weigh myself again. Um, and then I'll update y'all on my weight loss for about eight eight weeks on a GOP one. Okay, bye.
>> Okay, so she did not cheat with her diet. She cheated with the day that she weighs herself.
>> When I move, I see my collar bone. Like, what the heck is this? How crazy is that?
>> Do you realize there are people out there who have never seen their own collar bones? They've never seen their own clavicles. They've just lived their whole life not knowing how exactly they look. There's people out there who've never seen their cheekbones. They don't even know they have cheekbones. They think their bones are round. They think they have fat bones. You will only realize once you open your eyes and let the information penetrate you.
>> Like look at the like my collar bone is right here. Like like it's there. What?
What? Oh my gosh.
Discover my collar bone with me. Oh my goodness. Okay, so this video was posted in May 2025. And of course, our girl is keeping up the good work. Let's find out how much weight she's lost thus far.
>> Phone keeps saying I'm going to have phone store, so I'm recording this in Tik Tok, so I hope this does well. Got a shot.
>> Our girl has lost 35 lbs and it's now June 2025. She's been on this Trezy for at least 8 months now, and she's legit doing the most.
>> My two things that I need, alcohol pad, clean this. You want to clean this really good. and my injection site, which today I think I'm going to do my stomach and clean it. That's done. Needle. Take this off. Take this off. I put the air in it.
Stick this in there. Let the air out.
Turn it upside down. And I pull the units that I need. Perfect. Squeeze out what I don't need. Double check it.
Perfect.
Did we give ourselves a shot?
>> How many milligrams is she on? Let's read her caption. Injection day. I've been on GLP1 for about 7 months now and I'm down 37 lb. It's about more than weight loss benefits for me. I used to be terrified of giving myself a shot.
Literally had friends do it for me. But it's actually so easy once you get the hang of it. If you're considering it, Shed RX is offering 50% ad. Everybody's advertising. Everybody has a code. And just like that, we are done with our shot. I always dispose of these in my needle container. Then my medication back into the fridge cuz it has to stay refrigerated. That's it. That's taking my shot. I am down about 37 lbs on a GP1 and I have been on since November 2024, 6 7 8 months now. Thanks for along. Bye.
>> This girl is doing the most. I am very much proud of her. I think that paired with some light to moderate exercise, she could see even greater benefits, not just of the GLP1, but of just exercising, moving, energy-wise, she will feel so much better as well.
>> Nobody can ever make me feel bad about being on a GLP1. My doctors just called me and said that my blood work does not show what it showed seven months ago.
You cannot convince me that me making a single change. Well, I have become more active, too. But my blood work does not show what it showed seven months ago.
Man, I'm just so glad that I freaking started this GOP and took back control of my health. I mean, it's just it's been amazing. Like I said, outside of the scale and all of those things, I'm just I'm just glad. I'm glad I just took a chance and stopped listening to what other people had to say. Stop woring about other people's opinions and did something for me. I did something for me. Nobody.
>> So, this video was posted in June 2025 and our girl Koi Baker has been on her GLP1 for approximately 7 months and she just admitted to us that she got on the GLP1 because of her doctor's instructions. her blood work wasn't looking all that good and the doctor was like, "Okay, here's something that's going to work to help you out, girl, because your demonic gluttony is starting to catch up to you." That wakeup call. And on top of that, she is actually exercising, which is such a plus, such a bonus. And our girl seems very positive.
>> Okay, real quick, because I know people always ask me what's in my smoothies.
And this right here is a peanut butter, chocolate, and banana smoothie with extra protein powder. On my go, I know that I need to get more protein in. And so one of my little favorite morning hacks is to put it into my morning smoothie when I go and order it or even if I make it at home. So I'm getting about 36 grams of protein powder just to start my morning off. Anyway, y'all have yourselves a good day today. Bye. Okay.
>> As much as you're getting 36 g of protein, how much calories is in that smoothie, girl? Because you mentioned chocolate and that alone, I'm already thinking to myself, what if that smoothie is 600 calories? What's the point of 35 or 36 g of protein if you're having 600 calories, drinking 600 calories? At least ensure that it's zero sugar. I'm assuming it's not because it has chocolate and you did not mention it's zero sugar.
>> I never said I was perfect.
I never said I didn't have any flaws, but at least something pretty.
>> The text on this video is when I thought I'd be more disciplined when I started my GLP1 journey. And the caption reads, "Discipline never met her." LOL. When I started this journey, I thought GLP was going to turn me into a meal prepping machine overnight. Spoiler alert, I'm still me with less food noise and a little bit more grace. I'm doing what works for me and I'm seeing progress.
I'm with Shed and I love that I get to be honest about my process. If you're curious, there's a provider you can talk to through the link in my bio. We are still in the month of June, so losing 37 lbs in about 7 months, I think it's quite reasonable. Let me know in the comments what you think. And what the hell is our girl eating? What is this?
It looks like some sort of cookie dough.
Whatever it is, it looks disgustingly gluttonous. Let's read the comments.
Pretty brown eyes commented, "Is that a boneless chocolate chip cookie? Lol.
Today is shot day for me. And although I'm not hungry, I could eat 3 to 10 chocolate chip cookies right now. Girl, don't you dare." And our girl responded and said it was a butter pecan brownie.
Girl, why you having brownies? Why are you having brownies? As long as these brownies aren't your regular life, quo girl, then we are good. But if they are, then we're going to have to put you into place because why are you partaking in demonic gluttony on your GLP1 journey?
>> Oh, I'd be lying to y'all if I did not tell you that my confidence is through the roof today. Like, I know that I look good. Being on a GLP has really freaking helped me. Like, it has boosted my confidence. And I know that results vary per person, but my goodness, y'all know I'm going to come on here. I'm going to give you the freaking real. My experience on my GOP has been amazing. I know that not everybody has the same experience. I want to offer some words of encouragement that if it didn't work for you, if a certain thing didn't work for you, then maybe try shed. Talk with their providers and see if it's a great fit for you.
>> Okay, this is another ad. Our girl is advertising a lot, so be prepared for the ads. But reading the caption here, she says, "I didn't drop 15 lbs in the first month like some people. It was slow, but was real. I stayed consistent, and now my confidence is through the roof. GLP support through shed helped me stay on track even when the results weren't instant. So, it's clear that our girl is getting assistance from her provider. I'm not sure what kind of assistance. I hope it's some sort of nutritionist or something. But whatever it is, it seems to be working for her because in her first month, she was still partaking in carbon carb violence and demonic gluttony. And she decided to make a change. So, I'm proud of her for that.
>> I have got to stop cheating. Got to stop cheating. It's not worth it. You will be out here struggling. You will be out here crying. you will be out here upset.
Every single thing that I ate in Jamaica, I'm feeling that French toast I ate every single day. Yeah, it's not worth it. So, don't cheat. It's not worth it. I promise you. I am sweating like a mad dog. It is disgusting. It's not worth it. So, don't cheat. I have got >> Okay, so our girl apparently went to Jamaica sometime and it's now July 2025 and our girl cheated. She was eating French toast and living her best life.
She felt the consequences of it while on her GLP1. It's okay to cheat from time to time. And by time to time, I mean at most once a week. One thing about me, I eat a lot. Like, I eat a lot of protein.
People have been asking for my vlog. My vlog is on its way, you guys. I'm not much of a vlog person. I hate watching vlogs on Tik Tok. I hate watching vlogs on YouTube. So, it's been a bit tough finding that middle ground of something that I would enjoy watching because remember that any content I make, I need to enjoy as well. I cannot sit and edit something for 2 to three days that I do not enjoy watching. So, I've been kind of brainstorming how exactly can I give you guys a vlog while also remaining true to myself. So, please be patient with me. I'm still working on that. And I still have a full-time job, you guys.
So, like and subscribe if you want me to get out of my full-time job and you be my boss. Reading our girls comments here. All things jazz commented, "Same conversation I had with myself today.
Shake my head. I just got to have the same mindset when I'm feeling good."
100%. Next comment, "It's just not worth it." Uh-huh. Next comment is, "I tried to cheat and got sick." Of course, you got sick. Those foods that you were having are going to make you sick. In fact, I tried to have some KFC a couple of months ago and I got extremely sick.
I had some Zinger wings. I feel like that's something that's only in South Africa. The wings have got that crunch on the outside. They're super juicy and spicy on the inside. So good.
>> Yum.
>> But after I had those, I got so extremely sick. A couple of weeks before that, I had a Steers burger. Steers is another franchise I think is only in South Africa. The Steers burger I had didn't actually make me sick. That was the one and only fast food that did not make me sick. Had their beef burger and fries. I had McDonald's. I had the triple jalapeno burger. I actually got two of those with no fries. That is how I like ordering my takeaway meals. I try to prioritize protein in my takeaway meals. And then late last year, I had Burger King. Made me ridiculously sick.
And the worst part was I was traveling from Joelberg to my parents house in Clocktop which is at like a two and a half hour drive. So fast food doesn't agree with me. And when you start living a healthier lifestyle and start eating better, those unhealthy foods you used to enjoy are not going to agree with you anymore. In fact, even the taste of them is not going to be that great anymore because you acclimatize yourself to having whole foods. Next video. I >> I don't know if y'all know this or not, but Chipotle's kids meals are superior.
I ordered a kids tacos meal and it comes with three tacos and I got some honey chipotle chicken, black beans and some corn salsa and then I also got pickle on the side. I'm going to show you guys just how much food that I got.
Damn, that's a kids meal. That looks like a lot of food for a kid. That looks like it would fill me up. And honestly, out of all the takeaways our girl could have gotten, this looks like a very decent one. There's some beans and a bit of veg on there. She's having her fiber.
There's chicken on there. She's having her protein. And there's a bit of carbs with the wraps. This meal looks pretty good. Someone commented on my previous video that I said our girl's doing the most. A lot. So, I'm trying to actively stop saying our girl is doing the most.
I'm actively trying. So, guess what? I'm going to start my GOP journey all over again. I have been on my medication now for about 5 weeks. I'm going to take my shot in just a few minutes, but I've been off and so I'm going to restart.
I'm going to go all the way back down and start the beginning dose of tur. So, follow along if you two are somebody that is starting on a GLP. Um, just want somebody to keep track, too. Bye.
>> Okay, so it seems like our girl stopped her GLP1 journey and now she's restarting it again. By the way, this video is in November of 2025. We jumped over all the way to November 2025 and our girl is now about to restart her GLP1. I hope the period that she's been offered GLP1, she has not been participating in demonic gluttony. I really hope our girl Koi did not reexpand her stomach while on her break from her GLP1. Reading the comments, someone commented, "Me been off for 5 weeks." So, it's not just our girl who's been off. Some of our girls audience has also been off their GLP1s for a while.
And another comment here says, "I'm restarting next week after being off for 1 year. Taking Tris, wish me luck. Off for one year." Either way, I'm wishing everybody all the luck. When it comes to people stopping and restarting their JLP1 journeys, I'm very understanding of that because first of all, these drugs ain't cheap. And if you can't afford that new script for the following month, it's completely okay if you cannot get it because you simply cannot afford it.
People are going through things. People are broke out here. Cost of fuel is so damn high that for the first time ever, I'm glad I don't have a big group of friends because I would be traveling and traveling and going all over the place when I could have just stayed home. With the current cost of living, I don't blame anybody for defaulting on their GLP1 medication.
>> So, what I did to help break my stall when I was on the GOP was I went back >> almost. I went back to the basics. So, I increased my water. I made sure that I was eating meals and not just grazing.
And then I also added one form of movement. Add one form of movement to your routine. Not a full workout, just one form of movement. Try those things.
See if it works. I can't guarantee that it does. That's just what worked for me.
Let me know. If that doesn't work, talk to your provider. Thanks.
>> Okay, so the comment on this video here is, "What did you do to break the stall currently here?" So, while our girl had taken a break from her GLP1, people want to know, "What did you do when you went back to the GLP1?" And her messaging is something I can fully agree with. Stick to the basics. High protein, drink water, some light to moderate exercise, and you're good to go.
>> So, we've officially started week two of me resetting on my GOP, and I have lost 2.3 lbs. I'm on the lowest dose of TUR that I can take. I have been trying to be a little bit better with my eating, but I have not added any kind of movement or anything back into my routine. I'm just taking it slow, taking it easy. November.
>> What does a little bit better mean with the eating? Anyway, this video was posted in December 2025, and the caption here is my goal this time around is to keep track of my measurements instead of the scale. I failed. I've tried not stepping on the scale, but I needed to know. I'll take my measurements for week four update to see where I am. And I hope that now that she's restarted at GLP1, things are going to be smoother.
the 7th is the last time that I weigh myself is November 24th. I'm okay with that. I have not changed anything about my routine. I have not added any kind of movement back into my routine. I'm just taking it super easy, but I do plan to gradually pick it back up. Anyway, that is the update. Bye. So, we've officially, nobody's going to talk about it, but I will. There are side effects to being on a GOP. There just is. Just like there's side effects to everything.
You're going to lose weight. You're going to have better sleep. You're going to have improved labs. You're probably going to have improved self-confidence, too. That's just a part of being on the GOP. I understand that some people don't want those side effects, but they exist.
Okay? And for me, I'm going to choose those side effects. You don't have to choose the side effects. I'm going to choose the side effects. I like those side effects. Okay? There's side effects for everything. There are side effects for everything. You will be okay. Choose the side effects. Nobody's going to talk about >> Look, in life, you choose the side effects you want. Similar to the people who talk about how using sweeteners in your drinks leads to cancer. The choice is up to you. Would you rather risk something that is not guaranteed like cancer from having aspartain or risk something that is guaranteed like diabetes from having lots of sugar? The choice is up to you. You choose the side effects you want in life.
Our girl basically lost 1 kg in 3 weeks.
It feels a bit slow to me. It feels like our girl is not moving at the pace that she should be moving at. But overall, our girl has lost quite a bit of weight either way. And she's not restarting from scratch. She is still building on a foundation that she's already started previously. I >> think I'm on now like week three of restarting my GOP. And I am now feeling full when I eat. I just went to Waffle House and I ate half of my waff no maybe about 3/4 of my waffle and I had three eggs, soft scrambled cheese, and I got full about 3/4 of the way full with my waffle and then I had an entire egg left. So before the GOP, I could absolutely eat all of that, but I got full. So 5 milligram, I am starting to feel full faster. And 2 and a2 milligram, didn't really feel any suppression, but definitely with a 5 milligram, I am.
>> I'm so proud of I got to stop saying I'm so proud of our girl. I've got to stop saying that.
I'm so proud of Mm- >> Don't Don't Don't do it. Don't Don't do it. So, the food suppression that our girl who was hoping to experience when she started her GLP is finally kicking in and she's finally feeling full when she's eating her food.
It means that in the time that she was not on her GLP, our girl might have been eating it up.
>> All them people was like, "Oh, don't get on that GLP. Don't get on that GLP. You sick. Do you see this jawline? Do you see this jawline? Do you see these collar bones?" Like, what? Don't start the GOP. And I got my hair in the bun.
Girl, I'm cute. You can't tell me anything. Like >> our girl's skin also looks absolutely beautiful. Her neck was so dark when we first met our girl. I can see that she looks better. You'll never regret taking a GLP1 ever. So this is our girl's first post in January 2026. And she's showing us how much weight she's lost. So before she started her GLP1 journey, our girl looked like this. And now, how is she looking now? Koi Baker, girl, you're looking amazing. You are just absorbing the light and reflecting it back into the world. Girl, I'm so proud. So, written on this video is over a year ago, I started taking a GLP. Since then, I've watched my self-confidence skyrocket and I've become more comfortable in a body I grew up to deal with. I'm also 40 lb down. Anyway, here's me taking off my makeup with Vaseline. I'm just a little bit worried because it's been over a year now and our girl has only lost 40 lb. It feels a little bit. I don't know if I'm being a bit too harsh, but it feels like she hasn't lost much weight. Is she still partaking in that age-old demonic gluttony? Our girl did confess that she has been running to Waffle House, and I believe she's still having her smoothies with the chocolate. Those smoothies do not fit into the 10% rule, so I'm very worried.
>> We know that about 6 weeks ago, I restarted taking my GOP shot for the second time. This is my second time being on it. And I can honestly say since restarting my GOP second time, like I feel so much more informed, like more in tune with my body. I'm a lot more comfortable. I'm a lot more comfortable because I kind of know what I'm doing. So if you're somebody who was on a GLP before and you got off of it, get back on the GLP because I feel like I know what I'm doing.
>> This post is from January 2026 and our girls caption is, "I restarted my GLP one about 6 weeks ago and I feel more confident than ever. Stopping doesn't mean you failed. It just means you needed a reset." If you're thinking about restarting, don't overthink it.
Consistency starts again the moment you decide to show up. I'm just so proud to see people who are not deciding to be little victims like Amberlin Reed.
>> I hope that my hate will lower and my level higher.
>> Restarting it was kind of scary because I didn't know how my body was going to react to it, but I'm glad that I did it anyway. So, if you are somebody who are scared to restart the GOP, just do it.
Um, ask your questions, get them figured out, and then restart the GOP because if you don't, you're going to remain scared. You're going to remain stuck, and you don't want to stay there. You don't want to remain stuck, scared, and fat.
>> Today, this lady told me that I was taking the easy way out because I'm on a GOP. And I was just like, "Okay, I don't care if that's what I'm doing, then so be it. But I sleep better. I have better labs. I've lost weight. My chronic pain is um is managed. Like, I don't care if that means I'm taking the easy way out, then so be it. Sign me up." But I just thought it was so funny. Y'all have a good Friday night. I'm headed to Target.
>> I think it's fantastic. I think if you got the tools, use the tools.
Okay, so our girl is now in week six of her GLP1 journey and she has lost 1.1 lbs. And her caption is weekly GLP1 progress update on shot day. This week shows how body recomposition actually works. Inches shifting in different areas, inflammation changing, and the scale finally moving again. Tracking weekly measurements keeps me grounded when progress isn't linear. If you're on a GLP1 and feeling confused by fluctuations, this is your sign to measure your body, not just trust the scale. I'm a full supporter of measuring your body. Remember that this is not going to be a linear journey. There will be ups, downs, and whatever, but you just got to stay consistent, girl, which our girl is.
>> If you're on a GOP, then what are your New Year's resolutions? I'm not typically somebody who makes New Year's resolutions. However, I also make goals.
So, my goal this year being on a GOP is just to stay consistent with my shot schedule because it's so easy to say, "Okay, I forgot. I'll do it tomorrow."
So, one of my goals this year is to remain consistent with my shot schedule on the GOP. And then also, I think one of my other goals on a GOP for this year is to not focus on the scale because I got so caught up on the scale last year and I want to pay more attention to the inches and the way that my body feels.
So, what are your goals or New Year's resolutions for being on a GLOP?
>> It is still January and our girl is sharing her New Year's resolutions. It is important to have goals within your weight loss journey. I always advise people to have two different goals. A short-term goal and a long-term goal. A short-term goal can be losing a certain amount of weight within the month. When I was on my weight loss journey, I was weighing myself every single week. And I was losing approximately a kg a week at some point. My long-term goal was actually having abs. I told myself that I'm going to work out until I have abs.
And that goal's end date was actually October 2025 because that's when my family decided to go on holiday in Sun City in northwest here in South Africa.
I needed to have abs before that trip. I decided this the previous year in 2024 and I said to myself by 2025 October, I need to have abs and I did whatever the heck it took to ensure that I had abs by 2025 October. So it is important to have short and long-term goals. Don't just have a singular goal when it comes to your weight loss journey.
>> I mean, I guess this is a win, but today is day one of me ordering a small coffee. Like, I cannot finish a medium coffee anymore. So, I have a small coffee. Yay. Wasn't a quote on the coffee either. So, there's that. But, we have a small coffee. We have officially graduated from a medium to a small, which I think is an improvement on the GOP. Does still have protein in it, but there isn't a quote on here. So, y'all have a good day. Bye.
>> I'm so glad the size of her coffee has shrunk. I hope she's still having at least 30 grams of protein in that smaller coffee. I feel like now that her coffee is smaller, she might be gearing closer to that 10% rule. So, she's doing pretty well.
Why does it say our girl gained weight in week eight? I am trying to make sense of this. Let's read the caption. Started this journey focused on consistency, not perfection. and the progress shows.
Measurements are down, my body is changing, and I've learned that the scale doesn't tell the full story. This is what sticking with it looks like.
Slow, steady, real. According to her measurements, she is losing weight all around and a lot of weight at that.
Maybe she just ate a lot or she's carrying some water weight or whatever.
But whatever it is, it's only week eight. So, I'm going to take it easy on her.
The caption here is having the ability to buy food just because I didn't feel like cooking really put life into perspective. Never taking any blessings for granted. Do you know what a blessing it is being able to just buy food? I've been on survival mode for at least 2 years. Having chicken livers and rice, having eggs and rice, having sweet potato, chicken and rice. All my meals were basically the same two to three meals over and over and over in different forms. I stopped eating fast food simply because I could not afford fast food. It wasn't because I didn't like it or I didn't feel it anymore. I just couldn't afford it. And for so many people out there who start these journeys, they are in the same shoes.
They're in the same boat. And I do understand that when you do have the means and you can afford whatever the hell you want, it's so easy to just remain gluttonous and not lose the weight. Put your money away. Put your money aside. put it in a 32-day notice savings account where you cannot access that money without giving the bank 32 days of notice. Do something to stop yourself because when you lack impulse control and you have access to the means to support your habits, it will be extraordinarily difficult to stick to your weight loss even with a GLP.
>> I'm back to report that I feel a little bit better now.
Eating this chicken, rice, edetamame.
>> So got some edetami. I love edetami.
serving of the edamami in each >> quinoa and corn teriyaki bowl from Sam's and it's actually pretty good. So, I feel better now that I'm eating some food. I'm on a go and this is what I'm eating for lunch. A chicken teriyak bowl from Sam's and it's pretty darn good.
So, if you're needing a food idea and you're on a GP, then try this out.
>> Okay, our girl is having a chicken teriyak bowl from Sam's. My only issue with these bowls is you don't know how much oil they're using. These restaurants use a lot of oil. They kind of have to use a lot of oil because because oil is what keeps your food from not sticking to their pots and pans. And those pots and pans are busy all damn day. So, they can't afford to have food sticking onto them. The option she picked here looks pretty good. I hope she's not having takeaways every day, though, because our girl is not showing us what she's eating. I just pray and hope it's not takeaways every day. Girl, damn. Monday, I'm off work. I am in Dallas and so I am about to go thrifting.
So, this store is huge. There's an airport. Show you guys airplanes.
Zip up my purse cuz I don't know what kind of area I'm in.
I'm a big supporter of thrifting simply because when you're on a weight loss journey, you cannot afford to be buying fresh, expensive clothing, especially every time you hit a milestone weight because you're going to keep losing that weight. I have so many clothes right now that just don't fit me. They're way too big. And I haven't bought any new clothes. I actually don't have many clothes, you guys. So, at some point, I just decided, let me just buy multiple of the same black vest so that nobody can tell whether or not I'm gaining or losing weight. All I'm saying is don't waste money on expensive clothing when you're on a weight loss journey.
>> Our girl is celebrating being able to cross her legs. This seems like a stupid thing to be celebrating, but trust and believe, when you have been fat all your life, you might not even know what crossing your leg feels like. People who've been really fat all their lives have just never experienced certain things. And it maddens me when these same people come around and say, "I'm fat. I'm proud. And I'm happy the way I am. I don't want to change." The grass is 100% greener on the other side. And if you want to remain a crab in a bucket, feel free to.
>> Y'all do not mind my hair scarf being on. I'm laying down my my rag. But I went to go and tighten up my tuck my shirt in and my belt. Look at this. It's so loose. like it's just hanging. My belt is hanging and I just was like, "Wait a minute." And so then I have to go and tighten it because we can't let the belt loose. Like it's wild.
I just tightened up my belt. Our girl is losing weight like crazy. Her belt is getting too big. All my belts got too big except one. I literally have only one belt that I can wear. All my belts got so big that they just had no more holes for me to put into. One of my belts got so big that I actually had to cut some of the belt off. It'll almost wrap around my waist twice. That's how big the belt had gotten. So, these are small things that you experience on a weight loss journey. And these are wins in my opinion.
It is the month of March 2026 and our girl is still on a GLP1 journey.
This post is from May 2026 and the caption is, "I didn't wait until life slowed down. I decided to change my life while living it. Putting myself first used to feel selfish. Now I realize it was necessary." And the best part, I'm becoming someone my son can watch and learn from. Or am I getting emotional?
You taking time out of your day to go to the gym is not being selfish. It's you taking care of yourself for the people that you love. You can say that I need to be home for my family. But you need to exercise as well for your family. The moment you start rewiring your brain and realizing that you doing all these things is not you being selfish. It's you doing your family a favor. Or would you rather just live a demonically gluttonous life alongside your loved ones and you all just die together? I hope not.
>> Clearly losing weight and whatever this is that I thought was okay to wear was not okay. I have lost 40 plus pounds on a GOP and I'm so glad I did because this is not cutting it. Oh my goodness. If you two want to change your style, your body up so that you can dress it appropriately. Then uh I put the information up top, but this right here, this is not it. Clear. Somebody asked me why do I drink protein coffees instead of regular coffee. I'm on a GOP and making sure that I get in enough protein however I can is so important. I try to sneak in stuff every single way that I can and I try to stay on top of the game and I really try to start my mornings off strong. You have any more GOP questions, let me know. I'll be glad to answer them. I don't claim to be an expert. I just want to share what I know works for me and hopefully it can work for you, too. Bye.
>> So, this video was posted in the month of May 2026. And our girl is sharing why she likes her protein coffee, aka her profies. Our girl Stephanie Williams taught us that on her GLP1 weight loss journey, which you can check out on the link above. The caption on Quay Baker's post here is, "One thing I learned quick on a GLP. Protein matters way more than I realized. Adding protein to my coffee has been one of the easiest ways to stay fuller for longer, help with energy, support muscle retention, make mornings easier when I don't feel super hungry, and little habits like this made my journey feel sustainable instead of miserable. Nobody ever said weight loss has to be miserable. One thing I have learned and I learned this from my audience is that you don't have to feel hungry all the time. You can fill your stomach up, but fill your stomach up with low calorie foods, high protein foods, and you will never feel hungry again. There are ways to work around it.
Learn about your hormones. You do not want to be spiking your insulin extraordinarily first thing in the morning because come lunch hour, you will come crashing down. And you know damn well how Uber will start their notifications just before lunchtime at work. I see you Uber. You think I don't see your lunch anyone notifications at 12:00 p.m.
>> Good morning. How are we doing today? I have a beautiful coffee for us. I am so excited about this coffee y'all.
Wait. Here we go.
We like that sound. Today's quote says, "Love because he first loved us." This is a protein coffee and today's flavor is banana bread. And I'm so excited cuz oh my gosh, I love banana bread. So, let's taste it.
It's so good. Oh my gosh. Y'all have a good day today. Bye.
>> Our girl Koi is not mentioning that these coffees are zero sugar, which leads me to assume that they are not zero sugar. the sugar is going to keep her back because as time goes on, it feels like our girl is not losing weight in the way that she should be at this point. And she's also being very vague about her weight loss now. In her previous post, she mentioned she's 40 something pounds down. 40some could be 40.01 girl. So, be a little bit more specific unless you're trying to hide the information from us. This is where I'm going to leave it with our girl Quo Baker, but I will be checking in on her again sometime soon to ensure that our girl is sticking to a weight loss journey this time around. Let me know in the comments what you think of our girl Quay Baker's weight loss journey because our girl Quay has lost about 40 lbs in about a year and a bit. Do you feel like Qui should be losing weight faster? Do you feel like she should be losing weight slower? Do you feel like MASH is crazy and everything this girl is doing is correct? Let me know in the comments.
