GLP-1s & Ozempic: Weight Loss Miracle or Myth? #shortsAdded:
Next one, and this has caused controversy before. GLP-1s and Ozempic solve weight loss problems.
Most of you know where I stand on this.
So, this is absolutely false. It will not solve problems because it all comes down to lifestyle. But, here's what those things actually do.
They lower your sensitivity to blood sugar and insulin, which is great because a lot of people who are carrying excess weight have issues with high blood sugar.
That's a big problem because it can cause a whole load of other issues.
But, all they really do is manage blood sugar for you and decrease appetite, which is the exact same thing that happens from working out, caffeine, and uh healthy diet. All of those things decrease appetite. All of those things will lower your blood sugar.
