NEW Google Stitch AI Can Build ANYTHING! (INSANE UPDATE)Added:
So, the Google I/O conference was recently held and there were some announcements that were made in regards to some of the latest upgrades that have been made to the Google AI products. And in today's video, I'm going to be specifically focusing on Google Stitch.
I want to show you some of the latest things that you can do with it, some of the enhancements that they've made to it. I'm going to try to keep this video simple and straightforward because I want you guys to get the real value of how you can combine all of these different AI tools together. My mission on this channel is to help you guys build something meaningful. Now, for those of you that's not really sure of exactly what Google Stitch is, what it does, and how it can help you, it's basically a design tool. You can use it to come up with the concept for an app, website, landing page, so on and so forth. I'm sure that most of you have probably been in a situation where you've wanted to build something online, e.g. a website, but maybe you got stuck at the point where you didn't know exactly what your website or app was going to look like. Most people end up getting confused on how to structure it.
They're not really sure of exactly how to design it, and this ends up holding a lot of people back from taking any further action. And this is something that Google also noticed, and that's the reason why they released this completely free tool called Stitch. Anyone's capable of using it, anyone can use it to help them come up with a design for their website or app. It doesn't end there as well because what you can also do is use Google Stitch to redesign an existing app if you've already got one.
And as a matter of fact, this is actually one of the latest features that's been added. There's a unique way that you can use Google Stitch to help you redesign an existing website that you've built. Maybe you want to change it, and you're not really sure of exactly what to change it to. That's going to be the main focus of today's video. And in today's video, what I'm going to be doing is building a web app.
I believe that web apps are blowing up right now. There's so many different ways that you can monetize from them.
And the way that I like to build these different web apps is to use a platform called Horizons. Now, as you guys should already know, Horizons is a platform that you can use to build fully functional apps that are fully equipped with back-end features, e.g. databases, if you want your users to be able to create accounts and sign up. If you also want to integrate back-end features like APIs, AI tools, you know, there's so many different things that you can do with Horizons, but I'm going to try to keep it super simple today because I'm mainly going to be using Horizons to build out a fully functional web app, and I want to show you how you can now use Google Stitch to redesign it in the most simplistic way possible. So, the way Horizons works if you want to build a website, if you want to build an app, is that you need to prompt it, and you guys should already know one of the best ways to generate custom prompts for any type of internet business that you're looking to build is to use a tool called Digital Maker AI. I'm going to leave it linked down below. It's completely free for you to sign up. All you need to do is just click on get started, and you can either create an account using your Gmail, or you can just use a regular email. And once you've created your account and you've logged in, you're going to see this feature over here called chat, and this works in a similar way to chat GPT, Claude, Gemini, where you can basically have a conversation with it, but the main difference with this feature is that it's been trained on helping people that are looking to build apps, websites, digital products, whatever you're looking to build within the digital space, it's been trained to help you do it in a step-by-step format.
And for those of you that are in a position right now, and you're thinking, "Sam, I would love to have a app of some sort, but I'm not really sure of exactly what I should build, what's going to work, and which path I should take."
Well, if you just go over to the chat feature just like this, the example prompt that I'm going to enter is going to be something along these lines. I'm just going to say that I want to build a new web app, and I plan to make organic content on Instagram and YouTube to get traffic to it, but I'm struggling to think of exactly what to build. Can you ask me some questions so that I can make a decision? And what's going to happen is that it should come back instantly with some clarifying questions. So, right here, as we can see, one of the first questions is, "What topic or niche are you generally interested in? And who do I imagine my audience being?" So, I'm just going to say that I imagine my audience being, I don't know, some sort of business owner looking to streamline a system or a process in their system, and I'm also interested in e-commerce and finance. Okay, so it's now come back with some further questions, and it's also now giving me some niches that I can hone in on. So, it's letting me know that the niches that you can see on the screen are doing well based on what I told it that I'm interested in, and it's also asking me, "Do I have any personal experience with e-commerce?" So, I'm just going to quickly respond, and I'm going to say that I want it to rank the 10 best app solutions in regards to what it's already come back with, and I've told it yes, I've had experience with e-commerce for many, many years. So, let's see exactly what it's going to come back with next. Okay, great. So, right there, within a microsecond, it's now come back with these 10 different things that I can do a little bit more research into. So, let me just take the second one in the list, which is this ad spend return on investment calculator for e-commerce sellers, business owners, so on and so forth. So, I'm just going to go over to Google Trends and take a look. Okay, so I just typed in ad spend, left it on worldwide ever since 2004, and we can see all this time, no one really cared about it, but ever since 2024, it completely blew up, and more and more people went on to Google to search for this. And just for the record, guys, this is just basic research that you can do. I'm just trying to give you some insight into some of the things that you want to think about. If you're able to see that there's a lot of people interested in a particular solution, and you're also able to build an app to help with that solution, this could be a win-win situation for everyone involved.
So, now that I've got an idea on exactly what I'm trying to build, which is this ad spend ROI calculator, the next thing that you're going to need to do if you're following along is get your custom prompt so that you can copy and paste it directly into Horizons. And to get your custom prompt, what you're going to do is click into the prompt maker on the left-hand side within Digital Maker AI, and you're going to see the option for Horizons right there, so you're just going to select it. It's going to ask you what type of web app do you want to build? So, if I just scroll down here, click on something else, I'm going to say that I want to build this ad spend calculator. Who is this web app mainly for? So, I'm going to say that it's going to be for small business owners. What problem should this web app help people solve? I'm just going to keep it simple and say that it's going to be an app to help business owners, online business owners, that run either Meta ads, Google ads, or TikTok ads to calculate their return on ad spend. My advice is in this box right here, try and be as detailed as possible, maybe even mention, you know, certain specifics of your app, how you want it to function, but because I'm just showing you this as a demonstration, I would say that this is good enough. What should the user input for them to get results from this app? I'm going to say it's going to be mainly numbers or values. What should the app show the user after they click on continue? I'm going to say charts or visual breakdowns. And what is the ideal color scheme of this app? We're going to go with dark green and black accents, and then click on generate prompt. Okay, perfect. So, I've now got the custom prompt for me to build out this web app.
And by the way, you can click directly into Horizons right here if you want to go directly to it, or I'm going to leave a direct link to them in my description down below. But, once you've now got the custom prompt, all you're going to do is just copy it, make your way back over to Horizons, paste the entire prompt in there just like that. You don't have to read it, but if you do want to read it and you want to make any adjustments to your custom prompt, you're completely free to do so. But, once you're happy with the prompt, all you now need to do is click on enter. And what should happen is that Horizons should go straight to work to start building this out. So, what's going to be happening in the background is that Horizons is going to code everything everything that is necessary for a fully functional app to work as it should requires a level of coding and that's exactly what Horizons is doing. So, that's the beauty of using Horizons is that you don't need to be a coder or developer, you don't need to know a single line of code. As long as you have this chat feature on the left-hand side, you can have a conversation with it, make any adjustments to your app, anything you want to do, you can do it within this prompt box. But yeah, I'm going to wait for it to be done. It shouldn't take more than about 3 to 5 minutes or so, but as soon as it's complete, I'm going to be back straight away and I'm going to show you exactly what it was able to come back with. Okay, guys, so I'm back and here we go. As you can see, this is the initial app that it was able to build and definitely it done a good job.
Even just this alone, you can use it.
You don't even need to go over to Google Stitch if you don't want to. But, as you can see, it's built out the homepage.
It's also built out the dashboard.
People can go on to it and they can use it to track their Meta Ads, Google Ads, their TikTok Ads. And bear in mind, guys, you can build any type of app that you want. There's no restrictions when using Horizons. I'm only using this one as an example, but as we can see, it works as intended. People can click into it, they can enter figures, they can enter what they need to for their ad spend and what's going to happen is that it's going to come back with a detailed breakdown and give them the information that they need. So yeah, with an app like this, you can literally monetize it in so many different ways. Whether you want to monetize it with direct monetization using Stripe, if you want to monetize it using affiliate link partnerships, or maybe if you had some sort of service, maybe you had a product that you wanted to promote, you can integrate it directly into the app. Now, I'm not going to spend too much time on the monetization side of things in this video, but if you want to me to make a detailed video on this topic, just put in the comments down below, do the monetization app video, and your specific location, and I'll be sure to get on to it as soon as possible. But yeah, this is basically how Horizons works, and this is also the back end of the app that you're going to build. This is what it's going to look like if you've never seen coding before. So, everything you can see in your app, the way that it works, the way that it functions, as I mentioned before, it's going to be done using coding, and this is where Google Stitch now comes in because if I wanted to upgrade a certain part of my app, let's say the home page, what you can do is that you can click into the home page, you can get the code in, you can copy and paste it into Stitch, or what you can do with Horizons is export your entire code base by clicking on export code at the bottom.
But now that I've got the app built, this is where I'm going to be able to show you the upgrades that Google has made to Stitch. So, as you can see, I'm on the home page right now. To find it, you're just going to go over to stitch.withgoogle.com, and if you want to see the major upgrades, you could just click into this. And what it's going to do is that it's going to take you directly to Google Stitch X account, can see the post right here. So, these are the different things that you can do with Stitch now. There's streaming, you can edit existing designs, which is what I'm going to show you. You can do in-place AI edits, so on and so forth. So, yeah, these are different upgrades that they've made, and there's a couple different ways that you can use Stitch to upgrade an existing app that you've built. So, for example, if I just click on this new button over here that says start with your design. So, So I just click into it just like that, what you can do is just drag and drop the files from the code base that you got from Horizons. So for example, these are some of the pages within the actual app. So let's say if I wanted to focus specifically on the homepage, all I need to do is just drag and drop it into Stitch just like this. Okay, so that's now been added. You can also connect your GitHub, you can paste your actual file in here as well. So there's a few different options, but I thought I'd show you this. And you can also drag and drop it directly into this prompt box as well. And for the prompt, I'm just going to enter something along the lines of redesign this homepage with a modern SAS feel. I'm going to change the model to 3.1 thinking, just like that. And then I'm going to click on enter. All right, guys. So as we can see, Stitch has gone straight to work to start redesigning it. And to be honest, you do need to be a lot more specific and tell it to keep the exact same style, as well as the color scheme within the code that you gave it. But I did that for a reason, because I want to show you how simple it is if you did want to make any adjustments to the design that Stitch comes back with. But yeah, this process doesn't take too long as well. We can see that it's already generating the design right there, and it has now come back with something that looks pretty decent, looks really modern, and it's designing it section by section, as you can see on the screen. All right, guys.
And just like that, as you can see, it's now come back with the design. It's given me two different options I can choose from, and I'm sure that we can all agree that they look professional and they look well designed. If you wanted to get a designer on, let's say, Fiverr to do this for you, it'll probably cost around 50, 100 dollars, or even more than that. And you'd probably have to wait 5 days, maybe even longer for them to come back with the first copy. But with Stitch, you can literally plug in your code base. You don't even have to get the code, you can just copy and paste the screenshot or the image of whatever page that you want to redesign and it's going to be able to come back with some options that you can now choose from. Now, in regards to making any type of change, for example, if I wanted to make a change to the color scheme, what I can do is go over to the color palette on the left-hand side.
But, because I've already got the exact color code from Horizons, I could just go over to the prompt box and give it a detailed prompt. I'm just going to tell it exactly what my color scheme is so that it can match the rest of my app because bear in mind I'm only designing the home page. So, I've given it the prompt right there. I'm going to click on enter. And what should happen is that within a few seconds it should now do exactly what you told it to do. And this is what it was able to come back with.
So, yeah, it looks pretty good. This is what I'm going to use to upgrade within my app in Horizons. I'm going to show you exactly how that works so that you know exactly how you can make any changes to your app if you need to. But, over here you can also generate an instant prototype within Stitch if you want to test it out, see the functionality. You can also get variations of your home page if you don't like it. You can get a mobile app version. You know, there's so many different things that you can do and these are a lot of the new things that you can do as you can see on the right-hand side. But, yeah, now that I know that this is the one that I'm going to go with for me to move on to the next step and update it in my actual app, all you need to do is just click on the image just like that and then click on export. And you're going to see all of these different options that you can use for you to export it to whatever platform that you want to use. Now, because we're using Horizons, I'm just going to click on copy to clipboard. And what Stitch is going to do is that they're going to give you a code that's going to be the basis of your brand new page. So, I'm just going to go back over to Horizons. As you can see, I've just given it some initial instructions and I've also pasted the actual code that I got from Stitch. So, I'm just going to click on enter. I'm going to wait for Horizons to do its thing. Okay, perfect.
So, just like that Horizons made the necessary change exactly how it looks within Stitch. So, that is basically how it works, guys. If you want to make any change to your website, if you want to build an app from scratch using Horizons, if you want to modify anything and come up with some designs using Stitch, this is a process that you can start using straight away because it's completely free to use Stitch and it's also free for you to sign up to Horizons as well. So, yeah, I'm going to leave a direct link to Horizons in my description down below. I'm also going to leave a coupon code if you did want to upgrade your account and take things a lot more serious. And don't forget with Horizons, if you did want to publish it and make it available for people to start using straight away, you can just click on publish in the top right-hand corner and you're also able to get a completely free domain as well.
So, this is another benefit to using Horizons, which is the fact that you don't need to stress too much about your domain. You're able to get one for free and Horizons is also a hosting company, so you don't need any external hosting when it comes to making your app go live. But yeah, guys, if you enjoyed this video, press the like button. I really appreciate that. Don't forget to subscribe as well. Hit the bell notification so that YouTube can let you know what the new video has been released and comment down below. Let me know what are you looking to build with Stitch? Have you decided on building a mobile app, web app or a standard website? Let me know down below. I'd love to hear your thoughts and I'm going to try my best to respond back to as many comments as possible. And if you also wanted to watch another YouTube video that I made not too long ago where in this video, I'm going to be able to spend a little bit more time breaking down the fine details of what you need to know if you're a complete beginner that's looking to build their very first digital product business. I'm going to leave that video on the screen right there. Be sure to watch that straight after this because that video has already helped out countless people and I'm sure if you're able to watch it from the very start all the way to the very end, it can also help you out as well.
But as always, guys, I'm going to catch you on the next video. Make sure you stay safe out there. Peace.
