[00:00:00]All right, guys. Hello and welcome everybody to the brand new honest reaction video. And today, of course, we'll be checking out Blue Lips by Cortis. First of all, I'm really grateful that they're releasing so many music videos. So, of course, we've got the one for TNT and Asai. Now, Blue Lips, and this is also going to be my first time listening to the song. So, not only am I watching the music video for the first time, but also listening to the song. Uh, I think this one, you know, looking at this opening frame, probably and and also like Blue Lips, you know, it doesn't sound like a title for a performanceoriented song. So, I think um maybe this one is going to be like somewhat similar to Joy Ride or something like that. We'll see. We'll find out in a second. So, yeah, with this said, let's begin. First, listen.

[00:01:48]I really really like the atmosphere of the music video here. Like all the colors obviously dominated by blue.

[00:03:34]Right. Yeah, this is not quite what I expected to be honest. Um, I mean it is chill. I said that I think it's not a performanceoriented song and yeah >> it is not >> but let's talk about it.

[00:04:02]I think I mainly >> like I I I really I really enjoyed the look of the music video. Um a little bit of this glow or like haze, whatever you want to call it, around the light sources, right? It just makes everything look very soft and kind of smooth, >> very easy on on the eyes. Don't want to lose it.

[00:04:50]>> Wow. Even even you see like um the the light that's shining on his face from the side like it's somewhere over there.

[00:05:00]It makes the whole face look like it's kind of glowing and radiating the light.

[00:05:15]>> And of course we get those little uh highlights of orange. This is like the classic standard combination of blue and orange. Um, >> see they're the opposite colors.

[00:06:12]>> Wow. I feel like you can really like analyze these lines over and over and over. Oo ch. Wow. I really like this.

[00:06:20]Hold on. Hold on. Inner child trying to sneak out, choosing to fly cuz he can't hide. I really like that line.

[00:06:38]>> Wow, that was kind of unintentional. I went like that. And also Martin was like >> nice guitar in the instrumental right there.

[00:07:06]Yeah, if you think about it, uh, like if you really focus on the instrumental, even though it's very chill, it's very calm and smooth like this, it's um, still very full. It really feels like I don't know cuz I'm looking at the pool here. I'm going to make this water analogy like you're in the water, you know? It's like it it's not like air where it's just thin. You don't feel it.

[00:07:27]It's like kind of empty space, right?

[00:07:30]When you're in the water, you feel like you're in something. And the same way, you're kind of in this instrumental kind of floating, you know?

[00:07:53]I like that little me I guess.

[00:07:59]Mhm. Again, very ambient. Nice little ambient um extra background sounds.

[00:08:11]Okay, everybody. And again, they make such a beautiful video out of uh, you know, something so simple. They're just hanging out at the pool, not even doing too much. You know, it's not like a a summary music video where they're at the pool and kind of partying, you know, maybe jumping into into the pool. It's kind of action-packed, but no, they're just relaxing, maybe thinking about life. I don't know. Um, nighttime It's just yeah very very comforting in a sense as well. Yes everybody. Okay so this was blue lips.

[00:08:52]The moon is beautiful too.

[00:08:55]Yeah. Okay. Blue lips by Cortis. So, as always, uh for me, subjectively, personally, for my uh musical taste, this one, unfortunately, I can't say that I connected with it. Just um yeah, didn't find enough melodies for me to to really like. As you guys know, melodies are like the the most important element for me in music. Yeah, I also pay attention to the singer's voices. I like certain sounds in the instrument. I like certain genres and like certain feels or like colors of the music more than others. But overall, it still comes down mainly, of course, not not 100%.

[00:09:43]But a lot of it is uh the melody for me.

[00:09:46]And here, unfortunately, I didn't find those melodies that I could connect with. Um, but yeah, I think you know a lot of people will still enjoy the song and once once again I'm just sharing my like personal subjective perception of the song because many other people will really really like this one. Objectively I think it's a very like again dreamy very relaxing in a sense uh type of song and um like the music video too. Maybe with this one I like the music video even more than the song itself. Yeah, actually. Yeah, that's true. That's true. The music video was really, really beautiful. Again, also for my taste. Uh, really enjoyed it. So, yeah, something like this. Still happy that I checked it out. Still, you know, enjoyed the overall experience hearing the song together with the music video. So, it's all cool.
