[00:00:04]Um and straight out straight out to sea and you might have seen a few um Ronald was talking about this on the other side of the wall, World War II uh buildings, again in ruins now, which was the development of what's known as the Chain Home radar.

[00:00:22]Um uh which was sta- situated here, Scarlet, Hanning Bride, and Dolby, other parts of the island. But, this was the development of radar which was going on in the late '30s, but it was put into practice here with 300-ft masts for receiving and transmitting um electromagnetic waves to detect the um enemy incoming German planes um that were heading for the docks in in Liverpool, Belfast, Glasgow. And to detect them and to allow the signal to go out to RAF stations so they could scramble to meet those incoming aircraft. And that was developed later in the war, 1941 I think, to develop um low Chain Home low to more at sea level that would um be able to detect shipping, too. So, quite a lot of history around here. We'll see those buildings clearly clearly as we go on.
