[00:00:00]and we're talking about it still on the way. In fact, this morning we could have some showers especially to the west.

[00:00:04]We're looking at areas like Lake City, Gainesville, Alachua County, back up Nevada, Waycross with the first batch of rain coming up. Right now, it looks like some lighter showers and then as we get some heating, it's still going to be a very warm, humid day, highs up near 90°.

[00:00:19]That's when we'll see these showers start to spread to these, but you see the different flow in the atmosphere.

[00:00:23]Okay, we're seeing a southwest flow.

[00:00:25]That's it from the Gulf, so that's going to provide a lot of moisture for us today to work with and that'll help squeeze out some of those showers and storms. So, as we look at our Thursday rain chances, big difference. We've got rain all the way to the beaches today and look at the high rain chances, 70 to 90%. So, yesterday we did have a couple storms make it to the I-95 corridor as expected, didn't quite make it to the beach. We talked about that yesterday, but today all of the showers and storms, yeah, they're not going to they're not going to just stop at the I-95 corridor like we saw at World Golf Village yesterday. They're going to make it to the sand and that's what we need. In fact, we take a look at the next 12 hours for Jackson- ville and you can see we're talking showers west this morning, lot of clouds, debris clouds, mid-upper 80s, but it still looks like that best chance of rain peaking for the drive home. So, I know we've got the Blue Gene Run, that's our big event today, 6:30 San Marco for mental health awareness and it still looks like there will be some rain in the area, maybe some thunder. So, make sure you take the ponchos, have your weather apps and of course we will keep you updated on the rain out there. So, looks like low 80s with some soggy blue jeans for that good cause. We take a look at the big picture future cast here as we go through this morning. There's these few showers toward Lake City inland, but watch what happens this afternoon by 2:00, 3:00, shower storms popping overhead across the First Coast and they'll quickly move into the beaches as we head into late afternoon and the evening and get used to this pattern. Looks like this pattern will repeat and we call it rinse and repeat over the next couple of days at least. In fact, as we take a look at Friday, quiet start, few showers could start in the morning, but again, most of that activity peaking by late day. So, you can see what's happening, slow-moving front, very big tropical feed all the way from the deep tropics.

[00:02:03]That'll keep the moisture coming, so this front just trapping all of that moisture, and we'll have rounds of rain.

[00:02:08]So, you're thinking, "What about my plans this weekend?" Well, let's take a look. Well, we first of all have the weather impact alert. This is mainly to remind you umbrella weather, slow down, maybe a little flood risk increasing, especially this weekend. So, numerous showers, scattered storms, have indoor backup plans, but not a total washout.

[00:02:25]Here you go. So, Saturday I actually increase the temperatures back up near 90 because I'm seeing a pattern like we see today. Hazy, humid, mainly late day downpours. Sunday is a different story.

[00:02:35]If you have plans for outdoor plans, I'd make them Saturday because Sunday, yeah, more of a washout with morning and afternoon rain. So, in that 7-day forecast, notice those rain chances very high the next couple of days, okay? All right. 70-80% We'll be back to 70% Saturday, but by Sunday, that's the day we we increase that rain for more of a washout to 90%, and we'll get a little relief from the heat as well with highs of 84.
