Base44 Full Walkthrough - Best AI App Builder in 2026??

[00:00:00]Hello. In this video, I want to show you one of my favorite apps to build stuff with AI. This is a company that I've been seeing for a while cuz they make really, really good ads on YouTube and other platforms. So, then I tried it. I like the platform. I want to show you guys in this video exactly how to create awesome end-to-end apps completely with AI. So, if you have an idea and you want to bring it into the world into real life, I'm going to show you how to do exactly that step-by-step, fully hosted with AI in the next few minutes. That's going to be this video. My promise to you is that if you watch this all the way through, you will be able to spend like 15 minutes on what I'm going to show you and you will be able to get your idea out there into the world as a real business website or product. That in mind, it's going to be fun one. Let's go. So, that platform is called Base 44.

[00:00:49]Again, you may have seen their ads everywhere. This is one of the fastest growing AI app builders, period. And the big advantage of them versus others is that you get the whole stack in one prompt. So, front end back end, user login, database, file storage, email, probably a lot of other things that I'm forgetting. You just click publish, basically, and your idea is live on the internet and it's developed by the AI.

[00:01:11]You got a custom domain, all of that kind of stuff that we're going to take a look at. So, let's go ahead and jump into my computer. I'll show you how to use the platform first and then we'll go through the flow of building a few ideas with Base 44. Also, if you guys want to follow along, you can support the channel by doing that. [00:01:42]It's a very intuitive platform. If you've used GPT or Claude or any chatbot or similar platform, it works very similarly. We can click under all apps right here to see everything we've created. So, all of your projects. Under integrations, this is where you can connect things like your Stripe, your Salesforce, your Notion. That will come in handy in a few minutes once we get into the demos. And then under templates, we can see existing projects that either created by community members where you can pay for them or they are free. And so if you need something specific in mind that is pretty common, you just want it to be yours, you can go ahead and find that here. But we are going to start by going ahead and creating one of our own apps. I do also want to give a shout-out to the super regions feature. If you watch this channel, you've kept up with the rise of open claw and a lot of these agents that run autonomously for you. This is a whole set of features that run like so, so autonomously and complete tasks for you. Oh, we're getting off track. Let's jump back into the home page and this is the very basic prompt that I want to give it. So create a CRM for tracking my freelance clients. So basically a hyper custom CRM. I have one of these for YouTube for example, and you may want this for your own business. So instead of something like HubSpot or monday.com or Salesforce that you're paying a lot of money for, if you're a small business, maybe you want complete control and the ability to customize a simple CRM but you don't want to pay for it. This is how you could do that. Let's turn on plan so we can go ahead and just understand what the agent is going to build and then let's click start. Let's say it's a solo business and I will be using the CRM. Let's do a board with draggable cards. I want it to feel good and we'll go for clean and minimal.

[00:03:26]Okay. So we can see it's planned it out here. That was super fast generation, too, just a few seconds. We have the intent and goal, audience and roles, the flows, and then how it's going to be built. You If you want any of this changed, just talk to the agent. I'm good with this. I'm going to hit start building. So this thing is insanely fast. It's done all of this in like 10 seconds. Now we can see in the dashboard here, that's where we can go ahead and manage the project. For now, we'll leave it on preview and we'll wait a few more seconds for this to wrap up. Okay, it's been about a minute. It is full on done.

[00:03:58]So, we can see the dashboard right here, clients, invoices, projects, and notes.

[00:04:04]And this all is fully functional. I can click view all. I can drag and drop. We got a super nice feel for being able to move these around. And most importantly, this is completely customizable.

[00:04:15]Anything and everything I want to change, I just chat right here to the AI and it'll change all of that around for us, which is a beautiful thing that we need to appreciate cuz this was not at all possible like 2 years ago. But, the fun does not stop there. If I go ahead and click publish right now, let's do that. 1 second later, it's published.

[00:04:42]The back end, the hosting, the database, all of it is completely taken care of.

[00:04:47]This thing is end-to-end deployed. Now, if you want to connect a custom domain, you can do that just by clicking connect a custom domain under publishing. But, overall, this is designed to be as seamless as possible for you as someone looking to get your vision out into the world regardless of whether you're technical or not. And you can get more of an idea of what the back end looks like if we click on dashboard here instead of preview. And then we can go ahead and see a little summary of the app, the different users for auth and people who create accounts. Under data, we can see that database. And then what's really cool under growth can start to get a lot of those features I told you guys they were bought by Wix that you may more associate with a website hosting platform like that. So, we get our SEO, our AI assistant, discovery, our meta tags, our social content. And this is I think what Base 44 uniquely does best, which is that holistic ecosystem for what you go ahead and build. Cuz we also start to get things like agents in here that can interact or work within the app or automations and API even. There's a lot you can do here on the back end that can be invisible or you can get as involved as you want with and works regardless.

We have our supply chain overview with different projects, our projects themselves and then we can add information right here. Now, that's the core flow and I want to keep that short because that exemplifies the process itself which is that there is very little friction for you to take your idea and get it out into the world.

[00:07:07]Whether you're building it just for you or whether you want to go add your stripe, add your calendar, add all these different integrations and then bundle that up and sell it to other people as your own business.
