We at Christ University are honored to have you all here. I Stalin Arnold from the school of law will be the MC for this convocation.
The ceremony today marks a significant milestone for our graduating students as they embark on the next chapter of their lives and is very solemn. Keeping this in mind, I would like to give you all a few instructions to ensure that the ceremony is carried on in the highest standards of decorum and discipline.
Please switch off your mobile phones and other devices and maintain silence during the formal proceedings. This August occasion is indeed a moment to acknowledge and celebrate the achievements of those graduating today.
While your applause and warm cheers will add to their memories, kindly refrain from hooting and other forms of loud recognition.
I also request the audience to remain seated till the very end of the program and respect the decorum of the solemn ceremony. The official photographer will be taking the photographs during the ceremony and therefore students are requested to refrain from photography or videography inside the auditorium. Do not remove your caps and throw them up into the air at any time during or after the ceremony. To receive your certificates, please enter the stage from the guided side. Receive the degree from the chancellor or the vice chancellor and then leave the stage from the steps kept in the middle of the stage. Please avoid talking after you have received your certificates as it would be distracting to those who are yet to receive theirs. I wish to specially request all the graduants to maintain the decorum and silence especially during the degree awarding ceremony. After the ceremony, you are reminded to return the robes immediately to the allotted rooms.
I will now take you through the proceedings of the ceremony. As the procession enters the auditorium, you are requested to stand in silence. The procession will be led by the registar followed by the registar academics, heads of departments, associate deans, deans, directors, pro- vice chancellor, honorable vice chancellor, the chief guest, and the honorable chancellor.

The pledge to be taken after you receive your degree is on page seven of the convocation handbook. It is placed in your convocation folder that you will receive along with your degree certificate. Dear graduates at Christ, academic rigor has always been placed alongside moral uprightness.
This occasion gains meaning in the CMI year of education.
St. Kurakos alias our founder believed that education must reach every human person. His vision reminds us that knowledge must be joined with values, competence with responsibility, and learning with compassion.
You are all graduating at a defining moment in history.
If you remember our earlier discussion, we spoke about how India today is one of the youngest nations in the world with over 65% of its population below the age of 35 and more than 382 million young people in the age of 10 to 24.
The future of India we feel will be shaped by the energy, imagination, discipline and moral courage of its youth that is all of you dear Christides.
At the same time the world of work is changing rapidly.
The World Economic Forum projects that by 2030 170 million new jobs may be created while 92 million existing roles may be displaced.
This means that your degree is not the end of your preparation.
It is the foundation on which you must keep on building. for young Christ sites. The message is clear. Do not fear change. Prepare for it. With artificial intelligence related job postings in South Asia rising from 2.9% to 6.5%.
The future belongs to those who will upskill, adapt and keep learning.
So dear Ang Chryides from the school of sciences, may your scientific inquiry and innovation be guided by truth, ethics, sustainability and service to humankind.
My dear Christides from school of law, may your understanding of justice, rights and responsibility help you uphold fairness, protect dignity and serve the society with integrity.
The university gates open outward not to bid farewell but to send you forth.
Go therefore, dear Christides, and build bridges where there are divisions.
Speak clearly where there is confusion.
Serve generously where there is need.
Live with integrity in the face of indifference.
May your learning become service. May your success create opportunities for others. May your education become a source of light, service and hope for the society. Congratulations once more dear graduates, dear Christides. May you always walk with wisdom, courage, humility and grace. Thank you. God bless.

May I now call upon the chief guest, Dr. Dr. Shivakumar Kalyan Raman, Chief Executive Officer, Anusandan National Research Foundation to deliver the convocation address.
Good evening, respected chancellor, Father Saju, Vice Chancellor, Father Joseph, pro- vice chancellors, deans and directors of the school of sciences and the school of law, distinguished faculty, proud parents and dear graduating students, ladies and gentlemen. First, a huge congratulations to all of you.
It's wonderful to be here at Christ University Bengaluru on this very special convocation day. Dear graduating students or should I say Christides, today is an important transition.
You are moving from classrooms, labs, libraries, mood quotes, assignments, projects, attendance calculations, internship applications, canteen conversations, and even perhaps the occasional brave battle with hosu road and diary circle traffic into the next phase of your life. This is your day. Please enjoy it. You, your your parents and families have waited for this moment. Your teachers have helped shaped it and you have earned it.
Christ University has had a remarkable journey. Established in 197 1969 as Christ College and now declared as a deemed university deemed to be university in 2008. Today it stands as a vibrant university in Bangalur known for academic discipline, holistic education, diverse programs and a very lively student culture. Thanks to all of you.
Christ University's moto which was mentioned in the pledge is excellence and service. That is a simple phrase but a very demanding one.
Excellence asks how good can I become.
Service asks whom does my excellence help? When they both come together education becomes meaningful.
Today we have graduates from two very important schools. The school of sciences and the school of law. Anyway, this is a beautiful combination.
Science asks what is true.
Law asks what is just. Society needs both. Truth without justice can become cold and justice without truth can become weak. Together they help build a better nation. I would like on this convocation day to leave you with three short messages. The first, never stop learning. You are graduating into a world where everything is changing. AI, biotechnology, cyber security, climate science, data science, forensic evidence, digital privacy, intellectual property, constitutional questions, and many more areas are colliding with each other. For the science graduate, your work will not be confined to one textbook or one laboratory.
A computer scientist must understand ethics. A life scientist must understand data and regulation. A physicist or electronic student may work on semiconductors, energy sensors, or quantum technologies. A statistician might ask not only whether a model is accurate, but whether it's fair and reliable. For the law graduates, the profession is also changing. Law today is not only about statutes and precedence. It is about AI governance, climate law, digital rights, cyber crime, competition, privacy, intellectual property and evidence in a technology stage. So the degree you receive today is not the end of learning. It is your license to keep learning. This is also where research or anusandhan becomes so important.
Research teaches us not only what is known but how to deal with what is not yet known. It teaches patience, rigor, evidence, failure and humility. It teaches us to ask better question before rushing rushing into answers. In the age of AI, this becomes even more important.
AI can help you draft, compute, summarize, search, analyze, and even argue. But AI cannot replace judgment.
It cannot decide what is worth solving, what is ethical, what is fair, what is humane, and what is meaningful. AI may learn patterns, but human beings must define purpose. So keep learning because exams are not coming. Not because exams are coming but because life is coming.
The second message I leave with you is to be entrepreneurial but build on depth. By entrepreneurial I do not mean only starting a company, raising money and appearing on a podcast. That may happen to some of you. But entrepreneurship is much deeper. An entrepreneur is someone who takes undertakes responsibility. Someone who sees a problem and says, "Let me try to solve it." And takes end-to-end ownership. A scientist with this mindset asks, "Can my research become a useful diagnostic tool, a better material, a cleaner process, a stronger algorithm, or a technology that improves lives?" A lawyer with this mindset asks, "Can I design better contracts, better institutions, better dispute resolution systems, better compliance frameworks, and better access to justice? Can I accelerate justice? But increasingly the most valuable entrepreneurship will come from deep technologies based on serious scientific and engineering depth.
Semiconductors, quantum technologies, clean energy, advanced materials, biotechnology, AI systems, and the list keeps going on and on. Space, medical devices, these are not built overnight.
They require research, patient capital, teams, regulation, testing, and trust.
This is why research and entrepreneurship must come together closer. India does not only need more apps. India needs more deep technologies, more intellectual property, more lab tomarket translation, more science-based companies and more solutions for national missions.
Innovation is not always a dramatic invention. Sometimes it is a sequence of small improvements that makes something cheaper, faster, better, safer, more accessible and scale. But in deep tech, even that small sequence of improvements may require years of disciplined research.
So persistent and persistence and resilience is key. And let me say this especially to the young graduates. Do not, I repeat, do not wait for perfect conditions. If students of Christ University can manage deadlines, attendance, presentation, lab work, mood code presentation and still find your time for your fests and your friends.
You already know something about resource management. The country needs that spirit. The people who take ownership, create value and solve problems end to end. That is what entrepreneurial thinking is. The third message I leave with you is learn to collaborate. The hardest problems of the future will not belong to one discipline. Climate change is not only a science problem. It's also a law, finance, policy, technology, and a behavioral problem. Artificial intelligence is not only a computer science problem, but it's also involves legal, ethical, social, and regulatory.
Similarly, biotechnology is not only a laboratory problem. It raises questions of consent, safety, priv privacy, intellectual property, and equity. This is where I think the school of sciences and law must speak to each other.
Science without ethics can be dangerous.
Law without scientific understanding can become outdated. Technology without regulation can harm. Regulation without innovation can block progress. But no single individual can know both. That's why you need to collaborate. So learn to collaborate with people who think not like you. A scientist might must learn to explain uncertainty clearly. A lawyer must learn to understand technical evidence deeply with others help. A technologist must understand social legitimacy. A policy person must understand implementation. Collaboration is not a soft skill. It's a survival skill.
Before I close, let me say a few words about ANRF. The Anusandha National Research Foundation is a major initiative of the government of India to strengthen and catalyze research and innovation across the country. Our goal is to catalyze the rise of India's research and innovation powerhouse. It's high time India became one through about 50,000 crores of ANRF programs what we call ANRF core. The aim is to support basic applied and interdisiplinary research, seed research across universities and institutions, strengthen that, build research capacity and catalyze industry academic collaborations in both a horizontal or broad-based mode as well as a vertical mode which means more directed.
Alongside this, the honorable prime minister and the government has announced a 1 lakh crore RDI or research, development and innovation fund which is intended to provide long-term patient capital for private sectorled research and deep techch innovation. This is very important because deep tech does not follow the usual short cycle innovation model. It needs long horizon scientific risk takingaking and support through the difficult learning uh difficult journey from lab discovery to market impact with limited dilution. Together ANRF and RDI fund represent a ma major national push to move from research papers to prototypes from prototypes to products and from products to companies and from companies to national and global impact for students like you. This is an exciting time. India needs deep science.
India needs strong law. India needs responsible innovation. India needs institutions that combine knowledge and ethics and ambition with service. This is why Christ University's motto is so appropriate for this generation.
Excellence and service. Dear graduates, as you leave this beautiful and busy campus with its auditoriums, cafes, green corners, strict schedules, lively debates, and memories that probably began with orientation and ended today, but somehow we made it. Carry three things with you. Number one, keep learning. Number two, take ownership.
That's the essence of entrepreneurship.
Collaborate generously and especially with people who are unlike you. Remember your alma matter. Stay connected to Christ University as alumni, mentors, collaborators, and ambassadors. To the parents and families, congratulations.
This is your achievement too. To the faculty, thank you for shaping these young minds. And to the graduating class, go forward with confidence, humility, and courage. The country needs your knowledge, your judgment, and your imagination. Huge congratulations to each one of you. Jent.
May I now call upon honorable chancellor Dr. Father Sajju Chakalakal CMI to deliver the chancellor's address.
Esteemed Chief guest Dr. Shivkumar Kalyan Raman Chief Executive Officer Anusand National Research Foundation New Delhi Honorable Vice Chancellor Reverend and dear Dr. Father Jones Cece Reverend and dear Dr. Father Vijui our pro vice chancellor Dr. Anil Joseph Pindo registar Dr. Jolie Joseph registar academics Dr. Dr. Father Vergis K chief finance officer directors Dr. Father Thomas TV Dr. Father Josie and Dr. Father Joby Dean of School of Sciences Dr. TV Joseph Associate Dean of Sciences Dr. Deepti Associate Dean of the School of Law Dr. Chaititra directors deans Hod's coordinators honorable staff members Mr. Jugli Roy, president of Christ University Alumni Foundation, respected and proud parents, dear graduates, honored guests and my dear friends.
At the outset, congratulations dear Christides as you are graduated today here at Christ University.
In the Bible, the psalmist sings, "This is the day the Lord has made. Let's be glad and rejoice in it.
Indeed, graduation day is a day of rejoicing.
Each one of you together with your parents and the entire faculty of Christ University rejoice in the fact that you have completed your academic program and you have graduated.
We know none of us is self-made.
Sometimes we make the claim. But then to my mind, anyone who makes that claim lies because it's impossible for us to make it by ourselves. We are placed within the matrix of our families and the larger society. and the growth of every one of us there is a hand of someone else or group of people who would uplift us in the process of growth and in that way today as we have graduated I feel that the group of people who should be congratulated very specifically are your parents most of whom are not physically present in this audience auditorium.
I wish Christ University had still a large auditorium to house every one of us, but then that is physically impossible.
Your parents have walked with you to make this day possible. Their sleepless nights when you were young and their hard days as you grew up made it possible for you to complete the program here at Christ University and to sit today afternoon in this auditorium as graduates.
Their unconditional love and care indeed is at the foundation of your success.
My dear graduates, my dear Christides, please don't don't forget this fact.
They walked with you and they will definitely continue to walk with you as you would make your life in the course of time together with your parents.
As a teacher, I myself realize that the contribution of the faculty and the staff of the university is immense.
If not for their sacrifices, their presence, their dedication and commitment, university would not have grown to this teacher and none of us would have made it possible for the day. So as I congratulate every one of you the graduates together with your parents. I think it is quite reasonable that we also appreciate and congratulate the entire faculty of Christ University for having accompanied you, animated you, mentored you through and through.
Christ University has offered you space, excellent space and unlimited amount of opportunities.
And over the years as you were thrown into these opportunities, I'm sure that you have made the best out of it. And what you have become both inside the classroom and outside the classroom is precisely from all these innumerable amount of opportunities offered by CAS University.
And to make it possible, we have a wonderful team led by our honorable vice chancellor Dr. Father Joe Cece and another group of dedicated staff members who work day in and day out to make Christ University grow to greater heights.
I remember with gratitude together with the vice chancellor, our provice chancellor Dr. Father Viju, our registar Dr. Anil Pindo, Dr. Jonie Joseph, register of academics, father VGIS, the chief finance officer and various directors, deans, hods, everyone contributes his or her might into the making of Christ University. So congratulations to everyone and in a very special way I want to place on record the commitment and the hard work and the wonderful de dreams of our honorable vice chancellor Dr. Father Joe Cece who make it possible for Christ University to scale to greater heights.
Thank you and congratulations Dr. Father Joe Cece our vice chancellor.
Christ University is scaling greater heights also in the domain of national and international ratings. We have made it to the top especially when it comes to the private university rankings and each of you have contributed into the making of Kais University's stature.
So thank you very much graduates.
Excellence and service is the motto of Kaiser University. It's engraved everywhere.
It is also, I believe, engraved in the heart of every graduate.
As you have graduated, the university attests to the fact also that you have taken to your heart this great motto of excellence and service.
You have been groomed in this moto and as you would walk out to the university campus today as graduates, you will take the moto with you wherever you go and the excellence that you have gained will be testified not only by your teachers and the control of examination as it has been done so far but by the wider society. Not merely by looking at the certificates and the grades you have secured but by looking at the lives looking at the services that you would render to the society. Not only to talk about the larger society, the services that you would render to your family, the services that you would render in your workplace and accord in the course of time in the larger society that would carve out a special space for you Christides because that would testify to the fact that you are excellent as a Christite.
Now as I refer to the fact of this excellence and service I'm reminded of two contrasting expressions.
Especially most of you being science students you would be familiar with black holes. Physics students learn about black holes. Black hole is an abyss.
An abyss from which no energy can escape. Nothing can escape. Not even light which is considered to be the fastest.
It absorbs everything into it. It in fact eats up anything that comes in its vicinity. Even stars with huge mass could also be eaten up by a black hole.
In contrast to this, we have a light of beam a beam of light.
We are now placed in this auditorium. We are able to see each other precisely because it is lighted.
And the nature of light is such that it consists of photons, packets of energy.
And you know the interesting fact of the photon, it cannot hold itself back. Once it is lighted, it sends out its light.
If you light it continuously, it will die out when the energy is completely spent.
Now see the contrast. Black hole draws everything into itself. A beam of light sends out its light to everyone else.
Lights up the lives of others.
My dear Christides graduates, we are invited to become beams of light wherever we are placed in our families, in our workplace and in the larger society.
You should shed your light so that the lives of others would be enlightened, lighted up.
In contrast, some of us probably could also turn up to be black holes.
When we become too selfish, when we consider ourselves to be the center of the universe, everything would be drawn inward.
Yes, we could turn out to be selfish sometimes in our families, in our workplaces and in the society. But then that is not the call for a Christ tide.
The call for a Christ tide is to become a beam of light. Through your services, through your generous presence, you should become a beam of light in your family, in your professional workplace and in the society.
Let me also quickly just refer to a repeated reference to the AI.
Our vice chancellor as well as the chief guest had already made a reference to the AI.
AI claims to make life easier and we all look forward to it.
But at least as far as my knowledge goes, so far nobody speaks about or nobody promises to make humanity a better one. more generous and selfless through the engagement of AI. It is another mode of doing business. Another mode of doing business. We don't hear about remotely controlled drones delivering the essentials to a hless community. But they are sent to destroy enemy targets consisting of people and their essential institutions.
We get to read about it these days because it's just happening on the other side of us. We don't get to know any AIdriven chatbot making a special child perform normally but only to bypass intelligent processes by normally intelligent students like every one of us and us researchers.
No AI company seems to be intent on creating an ecosystem or an ethos that would make humanity more generous and selfless.
It is it is in this context that we Christites we the graduates have to chip in.
If the latest AI cannot make us selfless a Christite has to fill in that void.
This is the occasion. This is the call of every Christ tide. As you would move out of the campus today, my dear friends, become a beam of light.
Ensure that your presence is not going to be the presence of another businessman who would draw everything unto oneself but would be generous enough to reach out to the others. Light up the lives of someone who is in need of our assistance. It could be by way of helping a poor child to get educated.
Maybe to extend little help little helping hand to someone who is sick.
Maybe helping a blind person to just cross over to the other other side of the road. Indeed, all these little acts of generosity and mercy will definitely make a Christite special. This is a unique space for a Christ tide to become a beam of light in the lives of everyone else.
I congratulate every graduate of Christ University. And I wish and pray that as you would walk into the society, you would remain the beams of light. That's the Christ. That's the Christ university. May God continue to bless every one of you. Thank you very much.
Christ University has a vibrant alumni foundation which is aly led by Mr. Jugnu Oroy a graduate from the first batch of Christ in 1969.
His team works tirelessly to keep each outgoing Christite connected to the university. May I request Mr. Juguy the president of Christ University Alumni Foundation to felicitate the graduates.
Thank you sir.
By God too many speakers for my graduation. When will this fat guy be over so I can click pictures with a batchmate and parents?
Yes, this is exactly what I was thinking way back in my campus during my graduation too. Only that time we took black and white pictures with our batchmates being all guys.
Unfortunately, it was not a Kuwait college in my time. While today you have these charming ladies dressed in the best Indian look and just back from the beauty parlor.
And that too you take colored pictures jealous. Yes I am.
That's why when I met Bishop Father Kariel the principal who introduced co in Christ in 1980s I asked him why were the fathers so harsh with us that we had an all boys college. Plus that's why I had to go across the seas to find my own better half.
Father smiled and replied, "Jugno, during your time and the batches after you, we found the students attendance going down in classes while the visit to the gates of Mount Carmel and Joti Nimas was going up.
So we fathers thought it best to bring them into Christ. Now let me rush back to my formal boring address of few hours otherwise father money bags our finance head will find me for spoiling the decorum of the the today's decorum my Christites lend your ears I stand before you as a terrified speaker but a proud Christite with due respect cutting short my address of recognizing people. Let me just say dignitaries on the dice, off the dice and above all my fellow graduating Christites of batch of 2026.
My namaskarum wikum salam satrial and a very good evening to one and all.
This day you have received some great advice from speakers before me and I urge you to keep in mind. Let me now as your senior add a small bit to their thoughts. At the outset I carry the greetings of thousand of your fellow Christites who have walked out of this institution with their heads held high.
You are fortunate to have graduated from one of the finest universities in the country. While on its teaching and principle, I wish to remind you of two small aspects which we tend to forget that we are Indians first and our culture must be upheld.
Yes, do celebrate later this evening by parting with your friends and batchmates. A glass of beer or wine to is most deserved for putting the hard work in this last 15 to 20 years to reach today's event.
But please, but before that go home, thank that old couple as your youngsters address your dear parents. Carry a rose or a chocolate or take their blessings and thank them for walking the distance with you. Give them a jaduki japi or just say thank you ma.
My fellow Christites, I do not remember if I have said these two words to my parents and even today I long to say it.
But unfortunately, fate has separated us. Let history not be repeated with you.
Do recall how at a drop of your hat you told your dear mother to wake you up at 4:00 a.m. to study for a test. And the poor lady tosses and turns the whole night in fear she will miss the alarm.
then wakes up much before and makes you that steaming cup of coffee and tries to keep you waking up.
Remember the number of times your dear father has quietly kept his necessities in order that you may have a better time in this campus.
Here my friends, I leave your thoughts with a touching story.
After his father's death, the son decided to leave his mother at an old age home where he visited her off and on. One day he received a call from the old age home stating, "Your mother is very serious. Please come and visit her." The son rushed there and found his mother in a dying state. He asked her, "Ma, what can I do for you?" She replied, "Please, son, can you install some fans in this home as there are none? Can you also put a fridge for the betterment of the food as many times I have slept hungry without food?" The son was surprised and asked her, "Ma, why you here? You never complain. Now that you have a few moments left, why are you asking me this?" In tears, and I, she replied, "It's okay, dear. I have managed to bear the heat and hunger and the pain, but I fear when your children put you there, you will not be able to bear it."
My Christites that is every parent even in their last breath they will always remember you then why don't we give them the love and respect they deserve in the same tone our scriptures tell us we bow to the gurus before we bow to the lord above these faculties have given you their entire wealth their wealth of knowledge and no money can buy that if it was so each one of us would have been a Bill Gates or an iron with the they asked nothing in return but look forward to your visit one day to tell them the plant they have watered has given fruits in the lighter tone coming by to your association I hope you have registered in your web page as it allow you to keep in touch with your department and happenings in the campus remember we Christites are the actual owners of this campus these men in white are only a caretakers it's our voice outside the campus which is heard and respected.
Therefore, do talk highly of a second home. We have number of alma events which I will not take time to go. But as time is not today with me, I would before I bid you farewell, I would like to share a small poem which my late father gave me at my graduation which reminds me I and I alone have to face the world. He called it an odd philosophy of life.
Man comes into this world without his consent, leaves it against his will, and while on earth he's misguided and misunderstood. In infancy, he is an angel. In boyhood, he's a devil. And in manhood, he's a fool. If he has a wife and children, he is a chum. If he's a bachelor, he's inhuman and mean. If he enters a public house, he is a drunkard.
And if he stays out, he's a miser. If he's poor, he has no brains. If he's rich, he has all the luck in the world and is a crook. If he goes to the temple, he's a hypocrite. If he stays away, he's a sinner. If he gives for charity, it's for advertisement. If he does not, he's stingy. When he comes into this world, everybody wants to kiss him before he leaves this world.
Everybody wants to kick him. If he dies young, he had a great future. If he lives to a ripe old age, everybody hopes he has made a will. It is therefore impossible to please everybody. So do your duty. Be fearless. Use your common sense which is so uncommon even even and if you made mistake it's better than doing nothing. Hence keep smiling.
Nobody wants to hear about your troubles. They have tons of those.
Signing off. Remember the gates of Christ University are open always open for for our Salai Jend I call upon Miss Hansa Shria from the school of sciences and Miss Atara Mary Matthew from the school of law representing today's graduates to felicitate the graduates and the university after which the university choir We'll render the benediction song.
Today our degrees speak but our journey speaks louder. I can already see a few faces smiling in the crowd. So to those who know me, hi I am Hansekashria. And to those who don't, hi I'm Hansekashria.
It's my immense pleasure to stand here on behalf of students of school of sciences. As we gather here to celebrate this milestone, I would first like to thank the almighty for guiding us through every steps that brought us here today. This day would not have been possible without the pillars of this institutions.
We extend our heartful gratitude to our respected chancellor, Reverend Dr. Father Saju Chakalakil, Vice Chancellor, Reverend Dr. Father Joe CC Pro Vice Chancellor Reverend Dr. Father Piju PD registar Dr. Anil Joseph Pinto registar academics Dr. Johnny Joseph along with our dean Dr. TV Joseph associate dean Dr. Deepeptid Das heads of departments Dr. Father Joby Xavier Dr. Manoj B Dr. S Pranesh Dr. Anita Vargis Dr. Rupali Sunil Vwag Dr. to Nimita John faculty members mentors and the entire team of teaching and non-eing staff who helped shape us into the individuals we are today as students of school of sciences we were fortunate to be the part of initiatives like UGIP which is undergraduate research immersion program which introduced many of us to the field of research innovation and critical thinking from very beginning honestly standing here right now feels a little overwhelming because it's not easy to turn three years of memories into a threeinut speech. I don't think we fully can. But maybe that's the beauty of this journey. Christ was never just a university we came to study in. It was an experience.
From garden streets always buzzing with life to ground filled with sports and events. From random production houses appearing overnight before fest as if Christ has turned into some film city to long discussions after lectures ended.
Christ always felt alive. We entered here as late teenagers trying to figure life out. And today we stand here as a young adult ready to tell our stories to the world. And somewhere between attendance shortages, deadlines, internships, presentations, exams and constantly saying I'll start tomorrow.
We grew up and through our throughout our journey our family stood behind us.
So to them for every sacrifice, every late night call, every words of encouragement, this achievement belongs to you as much as it does to us. To our friends, or should I call them our home away from home. Thank you for all the laughter.
9:00 a.m. gate excuses that somehow sounded convincing at least to us.
Random walk around campus. Thank you for being a kind of encyclopedia we needed these years. And somewhere along the way, March on Christite stopped being just an anthem we sang during our programs. It became a part of who we are. So, class of 2026, before the world asks what we are going to achieve next, I hope we take a moment to pause and appreciate how far we have already come. Because before we try to prove our families, institutions and societies proud, we first must learn to acknowledge our own growth, resilience and journey and be proud of ourselves.
And today I think all of us deserve to say just three simple words. We did it.
Congratulations to each and every one of you. May you continue to march forward always. Thank you and have a wonderful evening.
Good evening everyone. Respected dignitaries, faculty members, proud parents, invited guests, and my dear graduating batch of 2026.
Ira Mary Matthew stand before you today deeply honored to represent the graduating batch of 2026 from the school of law Bangalore central campus Christ deemed to be university. First and foremost, I would like to thank God for guiding us through every challenge and blessing us with the strength to reach this milestone today. I would also like to express our heartful gratitude to our respected chancellor, Reverend Dr. Father Sju Chakluck, Vice Chancellor, Reverend Dr. Father Joseph Cece, Pro Vice Chancellor, Reverend Dr. Father Wiju PD, Red Star Dr. Anel Joseph, alongside RedStar Academics, Dr. Joanie Joseph and our director school of law associate dean head of department assistant head and every member of the faculty and staff who have guided us throughout these years. Thank you for believing in us, challenging us, encouraging us and molding us into the individuals that we are today. Now when we first walked into Christ University, some of us came here with very concrete plans of exactly how we was going to go through while others came unsure, anxious and even probably wondering whether this was the right choice. We came from different cities, different states and some of us live in different countries and carrying our own fears, hopes and expectations. And somewhere along the way, adidst all this uncertainty, we found a home. Now for me personally, home became the little the little world my friends and I built together in Crystal Rock PG. and um be the late night conversations, the sprints to class just to make it on time, celebrating our small victories, comforting each other even after disappointments and somehow surviving it all together. I think all of us in our own ways found our people and places that became our home away from home. And now as cliche as this may sound after all these internships and deadlines and ensonins and whatnot, what we remember truly are the people and the moments and moments that seemed insignificant when they took place, but now there are memories that we'll carry on forever.
And now today as we sit here wearing these robes, we also carry with us the silent sacrifices of those of our parents and families, the ones who supported us through every success and every setback. To all the parents and family members here today, thank you.
Thank you for believing in us even when we doubted ourselves. I hope today makes you proud because your sacrifices brought us here as much as our efforts did. And now as we step into uh the real world, I think many of us are again in this edge of uncertainty. But maybe that's all right because um growth always happens in this kind of uncertainty. So let us give ourselves the grace to fall, to make mistakes, and to learn all along the way. Let us trust ourselves in the resilience that we've built over these years. And finally to my batchmates, thank you for making the last 5 years unforgettable. It has truly been a privilege growing side along growing alongside each one of you. And as we leave this campus behind and begin our new journeys, may we continue to dream fearlessly, work honestly, remain kind, and always remember when it all began. Thank you.
until we sing again.
May our days be filled with hope. May the long and winding road be laid with peace until we sing again in the stillness of the night.
May spirit always find a meloy.
May the echo of our love song bring comfort.
May the rivers of your faith bring them shore.
Precious meories surround you. And the harmony of friends be ever sure until we sing again.
Heat. Heat. Heat.
as if you feel music you Heat. Heat. Heat.
until we see again.
When the world has always As babies, precious meories surround you. And the harmony of friends be ever true.
Until we sing. Until we sing. Until we sing.
>> Until we sing again.
until we sing again.
