[00:00:12]>> Today we are going to talk about our personal experience and India reasons and um also our experience.

[00:00:23]Hello all. So us 2008 masters from 2010 started working in IT 2015 marriage uh we have two kids after that I think this this pattern is very common for most of the NAS either H1B so we continue living there better lifestyle Things look good initially but after that maybe but somehow we keep on extending.

[00:01:17]But uh three things uh main three reasons you know uh which pushed us to make a final decision and come back to India permanently. I just want to quickly talk about those three points.

[00:01:31]Maybe majority of you are correlate with them and we just want to share it with you. uh first thing I think uh very important thing is uh current a related layoffs and uh very slow rehiring process. So I think uh 2024 US layoffs tech especially on tech too many layoffs 2024 I think it's around 150k layoffs in in top 500 companies and 2025 125k layoff tech jobs and in 2026 we are barely 5 months so far layoff signing.

[00:02:14]>> Yeah. So there are many layoffs nowadays in the past three two and a half years rehiring.

[00:02:24]So there are very limited rehiring >> new jobs and our new jobs H1 H1Bs are not considered majorly. So H1B visa holders are least preferred for these kind of jobs, new jobs. uh either it could be due to political scenarios in US or it could be you know some other reason but uh very limited jobs.

[00:02:50]So job new job route and key probably it is taking you know 3 months to 6 months depending on the case if you are willing to move anywhere in the US maybe somewhat better but uh if you are sticking to your existing city so also so this is one of the main reason so second reason I observed is inflation 2020 US governmental low interest rates to economy charges.

[00:03:25]So it it overheated economy overheated.

[00:03:28]So inflation you know rised up 2020 probably anyone.

[00:03:41]So 2020 probably 100.

[00:03:48]So salaries are not getting increased but inflation increased. So ultimately NS even Americans savings are you know going down.

[00:04:04]So this is the second point. Third point is kids are growing up. So we have to make a decision whether to settle down in in US or in India. US settle down.

[00:04:17]So green card right now it's not that easy whoever is on the green card line there are so many people green uncertaintities I don't think it's a good for our family that's why you know this this is the third reason because of these three reasons we have made a decision to move back to India permanently I think many of you may also agree with these three reasons and you may be you still you know trying to figure out whether to uh get that green card route or move back to India.

[00:04:54]>> Yeah, that definitely. So visa issues very tough decided to move back and it process yeah so first of all I felt no very relieved so I don't need to worry about visa I don't need to every two years 3 years prepare many documents and apply for the renewals. We don't know whether the renewal happens or not RF or India family but now I am free now. So I think we are thankful to us for for the opportunity for uh earning a quick buck.

[00:05:54]uh but uh India is you know uh motherland and uh it gives lot of freedom and it IT jobs again and the IT jobs.com is the you know major platform for the jobs search or you know uh for the recruiters as well as you know uh employees so you know I spent decent amount of time preparing the resume uh well-made resume and uh I just upload into no.com um within 2 three weeks weeks I got close to 10 calls. Out of 10 calls uh I have chosen like uh maybe four or five companies. Out of them two companies uh scheduled interviews for me or both of them I'm able to secure jobs.

[00:06:39]So India market also I uh I heard many news that you know TCS laid off many people and you know other companies are getting you know uh laying off. They're not giving new jobs. That is true but many GCCs are coming to India and also especially Hyderabad. So direct GCS openings.

[00:07:01]Uh I think we Indian market is far better than US right now for IT people.

[00:07:08]Within two weeks I'm able to secure two jobs.

[00:07:11]>> So you got a job in one of the like in healthare GC.
