In Buddhism, mindfulness and detachment involve recognizing that our true nature is beyond the illusion of a separate self, which is the root cause of suffering. True happiness comes from helping others and letting go of attachments to thoughts, possessions, and ego-driven desires. The practice requires dropping the seeking mindset and resting in the present moment with awareness, understanding that phenomena appear and disappear like dreams. Community practice and support from teachers are essential for spiritual development, as one cannot achieve enlightenment alone.

Dr.Yab Teaches Mindfulness and Detachment Buddhism StyleAdded:
Only ashes can I pay for That which is burned in the fire of wanting attaching to what random people say.
Holy moly.
What a disgrace.
So, welcome everyone to our mindfulness and detachment uh class a part of our broader uh Buddha field coursework here at the Monklife Meditation Institute.
Welcome everybody. It's great to see so many people coming by especially when this class was uh set up in the short notice.
We are coming to the uh end of our monthly fundraising project. So every dollar amount uh helps for us to reach our goal.
Me and Shiva have developed a little bit of a a rivalry.
But I hope everyone's doing well.
Having some uh peace, peace, sensing peace that's really important.
um the most important ingredients to make sure that you're not wasting life in daily, you know, day by day is that you've got some happiness and you've got some peace.
And if you want to improve your life, if that's what you want to do, um you you you need to bring more happiness and more peace.
The happiness you can get by helping people, doing fulfilling work, you know, going out there and helping people will definitely bring happiness to your life. Especially a group of people helping people directly uh will bring a lot of deep happiness, natural happiness for peace. Actually, it's a lot of letting go.
It's why we take vacations.
It's why we go to the coffee shop or what have you.
It's why we go out into nature to walk.
It's not because it's necessarily stimulating or exciting. You know, we're not going out into nature because we think we'll be attacked by a bear or we'll be fighting the wildlife, but rather um we go out there to let go.
And when we know how to practice meditation like you saw I mean that was real meditation that's undeniable meditation peace peaceful um then we get those ingredients of peace.
Now this is talking in terms of the self. The person the person that can go through depression, anxiety, the person that can have a horrible life, right?
But in the wisdom side there there is no person. It's all energy.
It's all movements. Subtle movements of the mind. Subtle energies. stuff that you can't pick up when you think that you're watching you know uh Friends or other such sitcoms when we when we see the human experience through the veil of sitcoms as we most often do right mo very common for everybody here we're missing out on a subtlety of reality that doesn't follow a script of characters, especially your character.
You have to remember that there's no character that's more important to you than you.
And that can be very stressful.
So this way of helping others, putting ourselves out there to give, to serve, to listen for the character that will bring more happiness for sure.
And when we are because it's good to do that. And so when we're good or we'll be happier. And when we're happier, we'll be able to look at our habits in a more clear-minded way, right? Because if we're depressed, we can't think straight. If we're happy, we can't necessarily think straight, but we can think from a a place that doesn't come from desperation, right? Happiness is a little bit of an absess absence of desperation.
Still not as good as peace.
And so when we have that happiness, we can choose to let go of the things that actually are not peaceful or are harmful to our bodies or harmful to other people, harmful to our planet Earth. We don't have a very happy human community, right?
Most I, you know, most people online find their happiness through some kind of degradation of another.
You know, being on this side or that side of a conflict or a war. And I don't think it's necessarily true that we have to be a culture or a society that doesn't have much happiness. Doesn't need to be that way. But that's the way that it is, you know, for most of us. We don't have a lot of happiness.
Okay, any questions?
Uh, Eden Syd Edensid says, "What do you think about the use of mantra during meditation?" Uh, very good. put it to work.
I've often got into this way of thinking when I'm practicing mantra meditation.
Is it better to practice mantra meditation or should I just practice, you know, open awareness or what have you? But see that bridge between those two is just another thing. So instead of having this skeptical doubt about what I'm doing or what I'm practicing, why don't I just keep practicing it 100%.
Keep doing into it 100%.
And that's when you get the change, the shift, the healing that you're looking for.
So as a um I don't know I'm happy to not be drunk.
I'm happy to not be high on whippids.
I'm happy to not be high on opium.
I'm happy to not be in the the the smoke of nicotine. I'm happy to be here right where I am.
I remember when I was in India and I was eating food out of the trash can. I was eating or drinking um basically to Indian toilet water or Indian sink water full of strange things. I was blood.
I was pissing blood or what functionally looked and felt like blood and I was uh using, you know, using a cigarette to burn a mark on my hand, you know, burning directly into the skin.
And I there was really such a reckless abandon about anything related to my, you know, my physical health. My mental health was going absolutely wild, but my physical health I just and I cared about that still, but I didn't care about my physical health.
And this I, this self, this D EA of iness has created an oligarchy.
in all of our lives that is devastating the relationship that we have with our true nature.
And so this way of practice, practicing together, practicing as a community, inviting the collective, building a SA This is a protest against collective selfishness or collective self-orientation.
We talk about the paradigms. We talk about the dynamics. We talk about the modalities.
But if we do not connect with our true nature, which is what this is all about, then it's all for not.
This trust and faith in mind, the nature of mind, the tress of mind that is all-encompassing, all compassionate, all embracing, all forgiving, without effort, certainly without contrivance, without striving.
Like a tree nestles and makes warm the baby bluebirds waiting for mother's nutrition from the sky.
Always embraced, always held.
This practice of meditation can give us such a relief.
But the instructions can be very confusing.
Just practice.
Just try to sit with your nature or resting mind in mind.
I like to I kind of focus focus on or bringing thoughts to bringing mental energy to the seeing the seeing itself.
as they say, seeing the seeing or seeing without conceiving.
And if we're not motivated, we're not going to do it.
Motivation can be stressful.
But this is proper stress.
and we don't have proper stress, we're probably going to go towards improper stress.
Smoking cigarettes is it's hard to imagine that that's good for your body.
All that smoke So there's all kinds of things to believe.
It's not like we only believe the right things or we only think the right things, but rather it's it's like our human life has been put into a a bubble pop.
You know, one of those uh circular orbital containers that have two sides that contain a little toy.
contrast.
It hose the field of our potentiality for insight.
Contrast is essential.
All the more so for people in this modern world. says, "Sarta Gotama, the Buddha of this era, would it have meant so much to him to see the sick man, to see the old woman, to see the dead body if he were not in his castle surrounded by and protected by beauty and the ideals of this world?
Now, so many of us find ourselves in this princely, queenly position, protected from the realities of sickness, old age, and death in our bubble pop, of consumption, and self-p protection.
So this contrast between the conditioned and the unconditioned, that which is good, that which is bad, that which is true, that which is false, that which appears, the appearing and the disappearing itself.
This contrast is the the hopeful field for potential insight.
And if we cannot share our understanding authentically about these fundamental basic dualities as we say hot is hot, cold is cold. But what's right? What's wrong?
What does it mean for something to appear in our direct experiencing?
What does it mean for something to disappear in our direct experiencing?
Where do things that appear come from?
in the mind.
Where does what is before us come from?
These kinds of unanswerable questions bring us to this space and place and practice of contemplation. Contemplation meaning to look deeply into without biases.
What is your biases?
What is your prejudgment in this practice of meditation?
When you close your eyes, what do you really see?
And where does this narrator originate from?
Do the eyes need thoughts to see?
Do the ears need a little personalized commentator to hear?
Does the heart need the voice of your supposed ego to beat?
Is self necessary.
In this process and in this practice, it's very important for you to find that stable comfortable position for your body. I think this is maybe where a lot of people who view in and and join in may go wrong or may have difficulties unnecessarily.
You need to your body needs to be still.
What are you doing? Moving around, looking around, jumping around.
Of course, your mind can't become concentrated or contemplative.
Try to be still.
Let the body be still so you can tune into the inside of the body, the inside of the mind.
Not just this friends episode.
Is it not enough for the heart just to beat.
It is it is not enough is it for the lungs just to breathe.
Is it not enough for the eyes just to see the ears just to hear?
And so in the same way for your mind, for your ego, for your sincere consideration of being in line with truth and reality.
Is it not enough just to Let it go.
We seem to have lost connection with the mysteriousness of our life.
Regardless of which side you choose, the great mystery pervades.
You say we were all created by God. What a profound and wonderful mystery beyond the human intellect, beyond the human ego and the human mind.
You say that science is the answer.
How mysterious, how unknown.
And then somehow not really picking either of these, finding ourselves in a pseudo middle of assumed up true description of reality. There is no mystery.
Life becomes a stopping ground for McDonald's, for Burger King, for consumption.
for ownership for constant simple thinking based on our greed, our anger and our nonsense.
This way of meditation to remember your true nature is nothing but finding the truth of the mysteriousness that is at your center.
Just mind resting in mind.
Just allowing yourself to not be in control anymore.
Your preferences, your judgments, your understanding.
irrelevant.
Just experiencing the dreamlike nature of the appearance and disappearance of phenomena in the mind.
Hata hat sadu sadu sadu. Welcome back home honey.
come and say hello to the people because you know some of the people here they really they really like you and they've really been missing you.
>> Really?
>> Yes.
>> I know that it's true.
>> It's true. They'd like to see a lot more of you than they would of me. I'm sure most of the time >> I clean in a car and care the car.
>> Yeah. This is come. I wait. I wait there and have her ring the blanket in the car. R the ring.
>> Hello.
>> You know the the thing I really love and I really appreciate about Hung is that she she always has such a well of of happiness. She truly is a happiness master, happiness yoga teacher in in so many. I mean, she's always got this happiness and joy. It's very authentic and it's very nourishing as well.
So, thank you Hung for your happiness.
>> Thank you, honey.
Happiness.
>> And look, this a Dr. Yab today. I Dr. Yab.
>> Dr. Yab today. Yeah.
You know, you you practice meditation.
It's it's not a place for you to really know what you're doing.
>> Outside of pain, whatever it is, it's okay. Oh my god.
>> She's a nature.
>> Oh, good. Very good.
>> Not sugar.
>> Thank you. Thank you. Not sugar and ready nature. Okay.
>> Thank you.
You're going into a place. You're going deep into the mind in such a way where you have no idea what to do. You have no you can't even your ego can't even find a relational point to what's happening because your ego is usually positioning itself in this kind of sitcom version of reality. And now you're having a direct experience that has nothing to do with that. The body as you know it isn't there. The mind as you know it isn't there. The world as you know it is not there 100%. And the contrast Yeah.
getting good at suffering 100%. Oh my goodness.
You know, and there's that the hope that comes from suffering.
The hope, the potential that comes from this uh hor, you know, this unsatisfactoriness, this subtle not being satisfied.
So, how is everyone's uh meditation?
Does anybody have any questions?
And you do that and you do that and you become a better person and your life becomes better.
It's just that we're too busy smoking cigarettes. We're too busy masturbating.
We're too busy um wallowing around in our self-pity to to do that practice and to become better.
We become good or by giving.
Giving allows us to become good or being good or means we become happier.
And when we become happier, we have a chance to go deeper into our minds and un develop the essence of compassion and wisdom.
Well, you don't have to tell me, you know. I'm I I definitely relate to it.
I don't have the answer but we as those taking refuge in the way it is cannot know together.
So that's what's offered here. Communal not knowing, right? And that's the problem with the self-pity is that we can't we can't rest in our not knowing because it's not stimulating enough. If we get really good, it will always be stimulating enough. And so we there was nothing better that we'll do than that. Until then we take refuge in the Buddha, the dharma and the sa.
Oh, separating the body and mind is also just a p practice practice terminology for better or worse.
Doesn't mean it's not true, but it's it's a practice terminology. We attach to separating the body and mind. We're never going to separate the body and mind. So there's something a little bit oxymoronic about it. You know, we're we're struggling, we're striving, we're seeking these deep meditation experiences. Well, then you're never going to get it until you drop seeking.
And of course, the the dropping of the you getting it is, you know, that that so-called happening.
But in this tradition we are this is original mind tradition or nature nature tradition.
So don't attach to yourself getting seeking those experiences those positions.
Okay. Thank you for the $5 donation bread of Christ body of Christ. Thank you heavenly father. Please accept this small token and offering and cleanse the sins of this chat.
And donations are welcome.
We need support. We need community. We need a teacher.
We need re we need reference points of practice environments. We need reference points of practice people. You will not be successful on your own.
You will not be successful in spiritual development on your own. It's not going to happen.
The Buddha, the Dharma and the Sana must become we must develop a practical relationship with these uh aspects of the original mind.
You are my sa my lovely sa.
You make me happy when skies are gray.
You'll never know, dears, how much I love you.
Please don't take my SA away.
You are my Sa, my lovely Sa.
You make me happy when skies are gray.
You'll never know, dears, how much I love you.
Please don't take my song away.
All this focus on on money, we miss out on all these different dimensions of life. And with this uh the force of money on our lives, it it creates our social context, our social culture, how we relate to each other, right? How they say time is money. Well, what if time is freedom?
What if each and every moment of time, each and every segment of time is freedom, not something to be encapsulated, contrived, controlled, manipulated, managed, etc. Not as a following principle, but as a leadership principle.
We're not approaching our leader with this good, you know, give us some time off. It's the principle doesn't work that way from the uh holder of the mind.
Not the one that wants to hold the mind.
Hung say we need to detox. We do need to detox. And she's saying this as she gets a big uh sandwich, goes to have a nice sandwich.
>> Well, when when I started detox, we need the energy. Okay.
That's okay. Finish with the dog, right?
When we talk tomorrow.
>> Yes, detox tomorrow.
>> Okay. Today I eat.
I eat today. Tomorrow I So we go to join the retreat >> for 5 days.
>> For sure.
>> Yes.
>> Okay.
I talk to her, the lady in the I talk to her. We can we we come back. We come back after we talk. She talk is a welcome in very Good.
So, how about that?
Yeah. Yeah.
>> Let's do it.
Yeah, we try >> but just short time No, I think you JRock 2. At a meditation retreat, we we let go of all of our coping mechanisms.
So, if we like to use the phone, we put down the phone. If we like to smoke cigarettes, we put down the cigarettes.
If we like to drink alcohol or eat meat, we put down the drinking alcohol and eating meat.
Uh we join together with the community doing the same thing. We practice meditation together and we listen to the guidance from the meditation master.
That's what we do at the meditation retreat.
When we go into our own minds, we will find difficulty.
Exactly. Lepo cananan.
we will find our inner devil, our inner greed, our inner anger, our inner delusion.
And when we find that, we need support.
So the role of the meditation master is not to uh sit us on our lap and uh tell us to bite our tongue. I don't know what the Daly Lama was thinking when he did that.
uh but rather to to be there to encourage and facilitate a space where you can go deeper and deeper into your mind. You can have these difficulties or these successes come up and the meditation master can tell you okay let that go.
Fasting can be a very powerful part of spiritual practice.
If your mind is blocked up fast, if you can do it, but do it with the support of the dharma teachers, the meditation masters listening to our, you know, our talks from master Yonghua or Ajan Sumido, Ajan Brah, Tignadhan the mind is going to get worse before it gets better in meditation.
So if you're going into a practice meditation, you're you're basically choosing to become mentally ill.
And the only people that are going to be successful in meditation are people who are willing to become and experience mental illness, severe mental illness.
Because from the Buddha perspective, from the Buddhist perspective, we are the people. I was talking about this with Hung yesterday. We are fundamentally uh rapidly revociously mentally ill in a constant state of grasping, seeking, avoiding.
When we're truly free, unmoving in a space of wisdom and compassion, everything is enlightened. The whole world is enlightened. The whole world is peaceful and blissful.
But how often are we actually connected or operating from our center rather than operating from all these different pushes and pulls in the world.
pushing and pulling pulling this pool of anger, this pool of greed, this pool of sensual involvement just waiting to be drank from.
This mental illness is the illness of ignorance and attachment.
This is the mental illness of Being attached and not knowing our true nature.
Conditioned self is illness.
And so we take refuge to be at peace, to take a rest. You know, this is all the great meditation masters I've known, they're always telling you, just come on, go and take a rest. What are you doing? What's wrong with you? Give it a break. Give it a rest.
A rest.
this sense of self with a rest in the here and now.
That's not about anything else or anywhere else or anyone else besides this one true mind, one true nature, one true beingness, you know, because I mean, isn't that the deal, right?
We you don't just want to go to sleep, you want to enjoy that.
So the real meditation or the real resting is aware. It's full of awareness. It's full of presence.
It's full of light.
It's not soggy. It's not foggy. It's not drowsy. It's not sedated. It's not darkened. It's full of light.
And it's a kind of freshness that pervades everywhere.
A freshness that cuts through all of these things that appear in presence. So we come back to our our natural freedom, our true mind that's not so bound up in things, in the swamp of things.
of good and bad, right and wrong etc. Detachment is not rejection.
Detachment is forgiving that thought and forgiving the one who had thought that thought and forgiving the forgiveness itself.
Even Oh.
So, you're supposed to when you're really doing this stuff, you're supposed to eat food either without taste or you eat it as if it's like you're only eating it to for the nutrient of your body to keep your body going on so you can keep practicing.
ing.
We don't have any. We have any chili pepper. Spicy pepper. Okay. I need chili pepper.
>> This is one of the techniques you can use to do this practice.
>> One.
>> Yeah.
>> One.
>> Two. Just uh let's see. Let's see what you got. So, >> okay. You just bring over here. No problem. Yeah. Yeah. Bring to me.
Whatever it is, bring here. Well, let's start with one and then we'll get to two.
>> Very spicy.
>> Okay. But this is going to help me do my practice, right?
>> Because if it's very very spicy, every bite of this food that I'm going to take is like um it's uh it's going to be burning.
It's going to be burning. So that burning is going to help me practice with the eating in a way where I don't get so much enjoyment from it.
>> Anyway, let's try.
>> Oh my god.
Very spicy.
>> Can I get another one?
>> Ready?
Spicy, >> please. Here we go. Pepper number two. You can identify these peppers. Let Let's see what Scoville these peppers are. Eh, >> spicy.

>> Um OTM >> this one.
>> No, no, no. Another >> Which one? This is a honey one.
>> Let's go to the uh >> No, no. I'm asking how much. What is this pepper called?

Well, I don't know if that's true, but I've heard I've heard other people say, "Yeah, Charles Bukowski." You know, maybe this is kind of a Charles Bukowski thing. You know what I mean?

The people that really grind my gears are the people that say, "You're not allowed to be funny.
You're not allowed to be a comedian.
Who are you to tell me who is funny and who's not allowed to be funny, etc. I've always had a strong deep relationship with laughter.
And I think it takes a true teacher, a true meditation master to invoke laughter. If they don't invoke laughter, they're not a real master. They're not a true master.
All right.
What do we say? What are we going to do?
The big question mark is is are we going to reach our goal?
One one. This is our goal. One red super chat equals one red pepper.
One red super chat equals one red pepper.

yelling and screaming at your audience, um, gyrating around in the dark. I I was really disappointed to see that, especially considering that, um, you've reached out to me. You wanted to do an interview with me, you wanted to collaborate with me, and um, I'm really, really disappointed by what I saw on your channel, Shiva, and the way that you're conducting yourself. I do have headphones if it comes down to that, but I think it's better we start uh have the interview on my channel and then we can do what needs to be done from there.
Okay. So, Shiva, I'm going to send you that invite.

My best my by the deeper myer.
So, Shiva Kylash Shambo, um I understand that you're interested in having some kind of interview process with me like to ask me some questions and uh you're certainly welcome to do so. I ask that you be respectful. I ask that you be considerate. Uh we'll also have a dynamic here where if people want to call into the show, they can send their super chats. Those will be read aloud through our TTS system. Um we are very happy to have uh everyone here today.
This is a a dynamic interview process with a former Buddhist monk of eight years and a a formally initiate initiated Hindu yogi. Uh this is a wonderful time and uh if you do like to see these kinds of activities and these happenings, make sure that you do send a super chat that you do donate and support this work. Even if it's a five dollars, if you think about it, if 25 people sent $2, that would be $50.
>> So even small donations and small offerings, they matter. They they affect the work that we're doing here. And we're really excited to see all of the questions and all the sharing from members of the community in the face of this uh this person here, Shiva Kai Lash Shambo, that's going to be going through an interview process uh with me.
So Shiva, are you prepared? prepared to do this interview or you just kind of uh putting things together as you go. Um >> hello Shiva, are you there?
Shiva, are you there? Hello?
Shiva seems to be having some technical issues. So, we've started our goal.
We've started our um event. Actually, there's a special aspect of this I'd like to share with everybody.
Here we have one of the hottest peppers in the world.
>> This is one of the hottest peppers in the world. Shiva, please fix your uh camera. Please fix your technology. Um please fix whatever it is that's going on. Um Shiva, on my side of the live stream or I'll turn off your side of the live stream right now. my side of the live stream is the priority. Um, not uh these sickopantic games here.
Please put the camera in front of you and please take this 100% seriously. If someone donates $100, if someone donates $100, I will eat one of the hottest peppers in the world, one of the spiciest peppers in the world.
Now, if somebody donates $50, I'll eat one of the spiciest peppers in the world. If somebody donates $100, I'll greet you another one. Shiva, please.
There we go. Hello, Shiva. Welcome in.
Welcome in, Shiva Kyash Shambo. So, you said you claimed that you wanted to do an interview with me. You claimed that this was something that you prepared for, something that was important for you. Um, whatever you donate, there is going to be a result. whatever you donate. But these are some of the hottest, spiciest peppers in the world.
Somebody donates $100, I will eat one of the spiciest peppers in the world.
>> Known in Vietnam. Known Known in Vietnam as El Diablo, these peppers are known to kill more than 1,000 Vietnamese people a year. Somebody donates $100.
>> Somebody donates $100. Somebody donates $100. I will eat this spicy pepper on live stream right now. No water, no food, no milk. I will eat this pepper and I will look straight into the camera. Somebody donates $100 $100 super chat or $100 on Cash App and I will eat one of the spiciest peppers in the world. I do want to let people know that this live stream is also happening in 4K with high resolution, high quality audio over on my YouTube channel, the Monk Life Meditation YouTube channel. Uh my name is Dr. Yab. I'm a former Buddhist monk of 8 years. I'm here to teach and share the joys and the practice of mindfulness and detachment.
These are what this is one of the hottest peppers in the world. Known in Vietnam as L Diablo or the one that kills.
And here this pepper I will eat it if someone donates $100 here on the live stream. Please change your settings to voice isolation. Voice isolation. Okay, Shiva. Voice isolation, please.
If five people donate $20, that will be $100 donated. If five people donate $500, that will be over 200 and that'll be over $2,500.
I will eat this pepper if somebody donates $100.
Okay. So, some people are saying, can you stop the begging for a minute and get to what you're supposed to be doing?
Yes. So, Shiva Kyash Shambo, I've come here because you've you've stated and you've claimed that you'd like to interview me. So, go ahead. Let's get on with it.
>> My Wi-Fi my Wi-Fi is working entirely fine. Uh, your connection is broken because you're probably getting hacked.
Um, uh, this is a full-on live stream fully done to the best specifications of the world and the reality. And that's precisely what we're doing here.
>> Okay. Uh, a donor of mine, a very important person, asked if you can turn off the very bad music.
This pepper is known as El Diablo. One of the most spicy peppers in the world.
I will eat this pepper on live stream if we reach our goal of $100 donated.
That means if 10 people that means if 10 people donated $10 that would be re that we would be reaching our goal in that way.
>> Where did you get that pepper? Where did you get it?
Where did you get that pepper? This is the second interview question.
>> This pepper is known as El Diablo. This pepper kills over 100 Vietnamese people a year.
Om.
This pepper is known as El Diablo. One of the spiciest peppers known to man.
This pepper kills over a hundred people internationally every year. If we reach our goal of $100 donated, I will eat this pepper right here and right now.
This is one of the spiciest peppers in the world.
>> Where did you get that pepper?
>> From the fridge.
It is said that the spice in this pepper has the the ability to kill 100 men.
Are you sure this is not a regular Thai chili pepper?
>> How prepared is exactly the truth? If 10 people donate $10, will I really have the guts to eat this pepper donated rolling on the floor laughing about?
>> He certainly is. Thank you very much.
There's 2% to your donation goal. What it's going to mean if I take this money here?
Can I email it to you?
This is one of the spiciest peppers in the world, my friends. And if we reach our donation goal of $100, I will eat this live stream on the pepper.
Let the countdown begin.
They say the Scoville measure is off the charts.
How many scope units is it?
Well, I actually have the world's spiciest candy. It's 9 million skull units. And the next person that sends a super chat, I'll just go ahead and blink it.
The third question that I have for this interview is why is your choice of music so >> who the hell am I to speak these words to be a bit different in the face of obscurity? Yeah. The world I see malicious and vicious traditions masquerade around as the right way to be. It seems cultures got pull with the people fear in the shadows and it's building steeples. So easy to fall into that hole if it's how we were born.
You say it's just the things that I have been taught. It's just the way that I was brought up. It's just the way that my people live. No other way but to give in. You've been speaking to me like different is dangerous. Like the world's got no space for us, but our timing is perfect. The new world is worth it. And we're waking up. Who the hell am I to say? I am God and God is us. And we are not lost. Who the hell am I to to be the whistleblower to stand for a different culture?
A culture of love.
$100 and I will eat one of the spiciest peppers in the world. Donated on Cash App.
Who the hell am I to be? Loud and free to show up as I am. Determined to be dismantling the pain we bring. The stories in service of our sufferings.
Purpose in society. I'll give you the key. The answer is me. Look in the mirror. We're the source of our own suffering. You want the world to change and rearrange to be in line with the light you bring. With the love you see.
Let the heart to me and own heart free.
Hello. Who the hell are you to say?
Please fix your microphone, Shiva. You are absolute embarrassment.
>> We are not lost. Who the hell are you two? To to be the whistleblower to stand for a different culture, a culture of love.
a culture of love. Listen to this next part. This is where it really gets interesting. Hear the lyrics.
I'm giving up resistance. My heart is insistent. Offer my soul to you in every instant. Authentic calling to my one true mission to love the world through my music and vision. I'm all in ready to fall in line with this love divine with this world of mine. Together we'll rise and bring the shadows right to a place of light. I offer my life. And I need you to live a life you love. And I need you to know that you're enough just as you are. And we are on the cusp of this new world. And a new I trust. Every broken piece and place of shame is just love showing you the way. So let the darkness teach you your own name. So in the shadows you can stand and say tell you I am my I am God and God is us and we are not lost. Tell you who I am. My I am the whistleblower.
I stand for a different culture.
A culture will tell you who I am. My I am God and God is us and we are not lost. Tell you who I am. My I am the whistleblower.
I stand for a different culture Shiva. A culture of love.
Okay, your connection is super bad.
Woo!
Your heartbeat pulses to the rhythm of freedom.
Your smile presses on the soul of the world.
Your voice and echo ever calling me to come.
Know myself in this place unexplored.
Lord, you've been a light in darken places.
Teach me what grace is. And to trust in the soul I've become. Oh, the magic of you and your heart's many faces, teaching to me my own wisdom. You said, "Bring bring your intensity. Bring bring your shame. Bring all of yourself to me.
I have the space. Bring bring your beauty and bring bring your love. Bring all of yourself to me. Shiva, you are already enough.
I see your courage in your deep surrender.
Ever present meeting me where I am.
Taught me to scream from the place my soul hurts.
Hell where what I stand where I stand.
Take my hand with a gentle turning telling me I'm worthy.
A hand on my back as I speak. What I need. Oh, the magic of you.
So wild and sturdy, showing the world what it means to be free. And you said, "Bring bring your intensity. Bring bring your shame. Bring all of yourself to me. I have the space.
Bring bring your beauty and bring bring your love. Bring all of yourself to me.
You are already enough.
Already enough.
Oo.
Already enough. Already enough. Already enough.
Bring Bring your intensity.
Bring Bring your intensity.
I want you to bring all of yourself to me.
I want you to bring all of yourself to me. All of yourself to me. All of yourself to me. Bring me all of your sadness. Bring me all of your pain and all of your grief. Bring you all of your shame. I want all of you. I want every peace you to bring all of yourself to me. I want you to bring all of yourself to me. I want you to bring all of yourself to me. I want you to bring all of yourself to me. All of yourself to me. Bring all of yourself to me. Bring bring your intensity. Bring Br.
Bring all of yourself to me. I have the space. Bring Bring your beauty. And bring bring your love. Bring all of yourself to me. You are already enough.
This pepper, this pepper here is known in Vietnam as El Diablo.
This pepper kills over 100 This pepper kills over 100 Vietnamese men and women every year. If we reach our super chat goal of $100, I will eat this pepper on this live stream. No milk, no water, no filters.
No filters, huh?
Okay. Anyways, uh maybe 10 or 20 or 30 people already here have said that you need to fix your Wi-Fi connection. It's time for you to invest in a new phone because every 30 seconds is just going out of control.
It's lagging completely.
>> You tell me if this changes it.
Does this change it? How's our connection everybody? Is our our connection okay? Shiva, you need to open up that heart chakra, buddy. You need to open up that heart chakra, buddy. You need to get some shocki going here.
Every time I trick you, every time I lie to you, every time I find a way to get you in the master's quarters, to teach you, to train you, to set a higher standard for you, and to develop you and cultivate you because I believe in you as a practitioner.
I watched your live stream. I took a live look at your live stream this morning and I was appalled to see you in a sweat to see you in a state of mania in the dark yelling and screaming at people and acting a fool. I was embarrassed Shiva.
Now this pepper is known as El Diablo.
This pepper kills over 100 people all around the world every year. I will eat this pepper on live stream if we reach our goal, our super chat goal, our donation goal. I will take the L Diablo pepper and then I will go into the outside and I will I will smoke a cigarette and I'll remove the filter.
>> $100. That means if five people donate $20, we've reached our goal. If 100 people donate $1, we've reached our goal. If 50 people donate $2, we've reached our goal. If a hundred people donate a $100, we've exceeded our goal a hundred times over.
>> Have you ever Have you thought about singing? You were a natural talent. Just the vocals.
>> Did the connection improve or not? Did the connection improve or not?
>> Yes. Yes. Whatever you did, you took all the tin foil from your computer to eat.
That's what I'm >> If you would like better audio quality and better video quality, go to your YouTube app and type in Monk Life Meditation. We currently have a 4K live stream going on with fullon audio quality, full-on video quality, highresolution, high production mic.

at war 5,943 donated $1.99.
Why does Rob look like a mafia boss and baby saver?
>> Yeah, I want to know that too. And thank you very much, Ken. But I'm just loving Dr. Rob's uh audio filter. It's really I can hear the sailing noises in the background.
Also, whatever he's doing on this, I can hear my own echo. It's fantastic.
>> Yeah, you can hear your own echo because your settings are set are messed up.
Your settings are echoing into yourself.
I'll bet you money on that. Turn on voice isolation.
>> I did.
>> If you can hear me, if there's an echo here, let me know.
>> Okay. How about now? How about now?
>> Yeah, it's gone. I fixed it.

This is my This is what I wear when I go out to Habachi Grill or something like that. I don't go out looking like a hobo, a fake yogi, a fake sasan, a fake spiritual teacher. What is it supposed to be ironic? Are you wearing those clothes to be ironic at this point?
>> Hung's cooking a special thing to help with the medicine.
I'm covering my energy because I'm dealing with a lot of spirits and a lot of different energies through this channel. Okay? So, I need to cover my head so they can't enter into me.
You would know that. You would know the true meaning of that that towel, that t-shirt you that you have wrapped around your head if you actually studied the upupanads.
Josh Gee says, "Shiva, you are a social leech.
Come on. You're here to do an interview.
You're messing up the mics. You've destroyed the entire audio situation.
Please. What are you doing? You're trying to sabotage my live stream.
Look, this phone's about to die, Shiva.
So, Look, somebody donates $300. I'll open up the beers.
How do you make the echo so loud? How did you do that?
You're ruining my live stream.
All right, I'm restarting my live stream. How about that?
We're both restarting our live streams to get back on top of the algorithm.
Hello.
Hello.
Okay. No, no, no. It's visible on on the actual stream. Let me check.
I don't know why you're always making stuff up for making problems. It's visible. Okay, just shut up. So, uh, great. Uh, Shiva Kyla Shambo, thank you so much for being here, man. Uh, some selfless service and and actually, you know, sharing some of your time. Sh, can you make your camera a little bit closer? I don't know why it seems like you're you're resting. you're all relaxed in the back and somehow you know we we're you're doing us a favor by being here. So Shiva, my audience is very curious about you and your situation and actually being here is you're still leaning back. Just zoom in a little bit. Just zoom into your face so it doesn't look like you're totally um uh disassociated from what's going on here. Um my name is Dr. Yab. I was a Buddhist monk for seven years. And this is my work. These are my teachings. This is what I spend my time uh doing and being involved with and we have a guest here. I'm also operating as Shiva's uh financial adviser um in these uh activities in these avenues. So Shiva what is your real question about Buddhism about meditation about mindfulness and detachment that you would like to ask to me?
>> I don't really have such questions pertaining to those subjects.
Thank you for your concern.
Doesn't matter.
Well, I think that you need to maybe have some of those questions because you're 30 years old, right? You're living at home with your mother, okay?
You have no plan to get a job. Um, you have no vision for your life apparently besides pretending to be a kind of micro celebrity. So, I I want you to be clear here. I want you to actually be honest here. What's the plan? What's the idea?
What's going on? I think that you might not be willing to ask for advice, but it's very true that you actually do need advice in fact.
So, can you tell us a little bit about that?
>> Well, the truth is that I am, as you said, a micro member. Can you can you cut off the fake accent and actually be real about who you are, what you're doing online, what's going on with you in your life. Now, you know, so many people they latch on to you because you have this like fake entertainment persona like so they can also feel like, oh, I'm basically a celebrity, too. How about the real Shiva?
How about the real Shiva that calls me at 2 am in the morning on Instagram and says, Dr. Rob, I just want to talk.
>> Yeah. Anyways, um I would like to know something about you. Actually, >> I want you to be real with yourself before you ask me to be real about me.
Every time we do these live streams, you're putting on some kind of act, some kind of performance, some kind of mask that you wear. You sound like Chat Gyt for sake. And I tell you what, he asked these chat, he asked these AIs for advice on everything. every single thing he asked his advice for chatbt and AI models. So what is you're not a celebrity Shiva you you don't make enough money to pay rent you don't take make enough money to support yourself but you live at home with your mother so you don't have any bills right so you don't make enough money to support yourself in your life >> I have a question for you is it is it Danny is it Rob or is it Yab >> my name is Dr. Yab and Shiva. I want you to be really careful about what you say, okay? And the things that you play around with because this is your evil side. This is your negative side. This is your dark side, Shiva. Okay? I'm trying to help. I mean, you get offended. I'm not offended that you live at home with your mother's house. It's just that you are. You're offended by that. And you bring your negativity. You bring your toxicity here. It's nothing to be depressed about, man. Why don't you have a little bit of pride about the way that you're living your life and who you are? I'm just I'm just inviting you to be realistic about your situation in your life, man. Be honest about it.
>> One day, I certainly will try to do that.
Well, why not today? Today's a great day to do it.
>> It's not a good day.
What? It takes time for it to kick you into the algorithm. It takes five minutes or so. Takes a couple minutes before it kicks you into the algorithm.
We'll be up. We'll be up in the stars in a few moments.
And also, we want to facilitate these people to follow. We want to make the make it clear in their own mind that they're following us.
You see what I'm saying? That they're taking intentional actions to follow us from one place to another. That's an important part of the the system that you want to share with people or showing them their own minds is that they are following us. You know, they're following me or they're following you.
They need to take responsibility for that. They need to recognize that.
So get off of stop playing with these games. Give your full attention to this live stream. Give your full attention to this work here.
I am. You have 80% of my attention.
>> And you have nothing else that you do in your life besides live stream on YouTube and beg for money. That's the only thing you do in your life.
Are we having connection issues? Why are the num these numbers of views so low?
What's going on here?
>> I think just the YouTube has figured out.
>> Let me see. Let me see this.
Come on everybody. Let's get some energy in the chat. Let's get some W's in the chat. Let's get some likes. Tap on the screen everybody. Tap on the screen everybody. Show your support.
Come on everybody. Let's get some W's in the chat.
Let's get some big W's in the chat everybody. Oh, now Shiva, you feel inspired, huh? You're inspired, huh?
>> Yeah.
>> You want to play some games? We'll play some games, buddy. Hold on one sec. Let me put this on the charger. We're going to play some games.
>> Hi, Sha.
>> Hello.
>> Hello.
>> I'm ready for a chess.
I want to talk real with you, Shiva.
Let's get some super chats, everybody.
Let's get some W's. Let's get some donations coming in.
I want our community to feel proud proud about what we're doing. I want you to feel proud about what we're doing.
I need some rings, right? When I'm dressed up like this, I need some rings.
We'll get them. We'll get them soon.
So, what's up, Shiva? What do you want to ask the doc? What do you want to ask the single most important person in your life?
>> We have to sweep as much as we go forwards. We have to go backwards. We have to cover all our bases.
Once you go forwards, give it back.
Otherwise, you're just going to swivel swivel in yourself. And that's not what this is about. This isn't about swiveling in yourself and being sniving, being a rat, being a weasel. You know, there's so many people out there that call you a rat and a weasel. And sometimes I look at you and I see that.
I see you as this kind of money hungry little weasel trying to burrow himself into whatever whatever he can get a hang on.
>> Honey.
>> Yeah. Can you get my hat?
>> The white hat. Big hat.
>> White hat. Big hat. Big hat. A white hat.
>> The big white hat.
>> He's not even trying. I mean, that's already giving him too much credit and credence. Every time you give this guy an inch, he's going to burrow in like a weasel and try and take a mile of of of conniving and sniddling and and manipulating.
You can't give this guy anything.
You can't give this guy a single inch. I tell you that right now.
I mean you show up on live stream every day wearing rags pretending to not just be a Hindu you know that's the thing even if you are pretending to be a Hindu that would be so disrespectful so uncou so inappropriate for you to pretend to be a Hindu right but you don't just do that you pretend to be some kind of or yogi, which would also be absolutely unco in and of itself, right? But you don't just do that. You pretend to be a guru. You pretend to be a guru in the lineage of Isa Foundation. Nothing is darker than that. Nothing is more inappropriate than that. Yeah. Keep drinking your big bottle of water that you found in your mom's cupboard.
You need to reinvent yourself, man. You need to refresh and restart. You have to stop getting high on on these parasocial parasites, these pedantic parasocial parasites that you think you're like some representative of them.
You're always trying to like look at the parasocial pedantic parasites and say, "Wink wink. We're all on the same team. Just keep the $2 bills flowing."
You don't go outside your house. You're not creating any content. Same as when you were in Vietnam. You're stuck, man.
You're stuck. Be honest about that. And stop trying to present yourself as a guru because you can order things on Amazon.
>> I am.
What kind of guru are you?
>> Shea, >> you didn't even I remember when you came to my home here in Vietnam, you didn't even know that you could psychically connect with.
>> So, how are you a yogi? How are you an isha initiate when you didn't su talks about that all the time? He says something like 3:35. I'll be around if you want to talk in the ethereal realm.
I taught you that. I told you that.
So my my advice, Sheila, keep playing your little fiddle. Keep doing your little weasling around. And when you're ready, come on over here. Not for you pretending that you have somewhere to go with some uh millionaire son lunatic, okay? Some lon.
But you actually come here and you come and participate. You come and practice.
You come and donate. You come and volunteer.
>> You come and support this meditation center, this happy village that we're creating.
You put your ego down. You shovel You bow down to me.
>> You're looking at me like there's something I'm supposed to be looking back at, which is ridiculous. We've already We've talked about that so many times.
There's no persona that you have access to that has any relevance in the spiritual field. And that's why you begged me not to release that. uncut footage of you lying to Seattle and presenting yourself as some kind of ISA representative and a close disciple of you know what I you know what I saw when you were doing it I said what the hell was I thinking bringing him here because I'm going to release that footage I'm going to release that footage.
the the concept that you think fixation is power is the most ridiculous spiritual idea that I've ever heard.
You try to fixate on me. You try to have a guru battle with me through fixation.
You don't know anything about what you're talking about or doing.
Broaden your view. Widen your vision. Go check. Take your vision to the peripheral.
You have no idea what you're doing.
And I actually have some information about Shiva. I know exactly how much money he's made this past month. I know exactly how much money he's made from his YouTube donations and his YouTube this past month.
And if somebody would like to know that information, you can you can let me know and I will fill you in.
>> Okay. The charger, the char. I'm happy that you're inspired. Okay. I'm happy you feel awake, right? Instead of your sleepy time, right? Now's not your sleeping time, right? Cuz you wake up whenever you want.
Some of us have responsibilities. She >> Oh, yeah.
Too close to home, huh?
I retired at 33 years old. Shea, I retired at 33. You know, that's I've been I've been thinking, should I make a video about how to tell young men how to retire at 33?
And you're sitting there crying in bed wondering about if you need a job or not. What am I going to do? What am I going to do?
Yeah. What are you going to do, Shiva?
What are you going to do?
I'll just keep live streaming.
A little bit of healthy shame would go a long way with somebody like Yeah, you got the fart spray, man.
That'll help you out, right? I was thinking about that. I said, "Don't you smell enough farts as it is in your room? Your room must weak."
Anybody who's actually spent time with you, I'm going to do an interview with Ollie about your smell.
Yeah, you can't pay rent with that, buddy. So, what are you going to do with that? If you don't have liquid assets to pay at least a month of rent at a nice place, you don't have independence, man.
What's your plan?
That's all I'm trying to understand is what is your plan, man?
I'm trying to help you.
>> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Keep going with your disingenuousness.
And it's the funniest thing, Shiva, like your brand, right? Your brand, which is non-existent. I want to tell you about this.
Your brand which is non-existent depends on me not being involved. You don't understand that when I bring that level of energy all the parasocial parabolic pedantic parasites they scoffer away and they say I can't trust Shiva. He's bringing danger to me.
>> I think that's the other way around.
Yeah, that's the other way around.
>> Anyways, we're going to play some games.
>> Oh, she wants to play the games with the doctor. She want to play some gaming with your friend. Huh? You want to play the game with the doctor? Huh? Shiva, want to play? Want to play a little bit?
Would you play a game together a little bit? Have a little fun with your dou Dr. Y.
You should be ashamed of yourself.
You should be ashamed of yourself. Every time you turn that camera on, every time you open that little lying weasel mouth of yours, there should be nothing that nothing that you say but I am ashamed.
I am ashamed of who I am.
I'm not ashamed.
>> Yes, you are.
>> I'm happy. I'm rich.
>> Okay. Okay, Shiva. I'm sorry. I'm sorry, Shiva.
Whoa.
>> Dr. Yob.
>> Dr. Yob is in the house, everybody.
>> Is that your second personality? You have personality disorder.
>> Uh, no. That's my name now. Dr. Yob.
Okay.
>> You can't change your name.
You look like Tom and Jerry. You're about to catch a mouse.
>> Yeah, I'm about to catch a rat.
>> There are no rats here.
>> No, a weasel. Sorry, I misspoke. A weasel.
>> What are you if not a weasel?
You're a weasel and I'm a snake.
>> You're a weasel and I'm a snake in the grass.
>> And that's speciesism. That's speciesism.
See, that's the difference. That's the difference between me and you. I can talk about things these things without being a speciesist.
>> Yeah.
When you change that >> after my detox.
>> Tomorrow.
>> Tomorrow I start my detox.
>> Tomorrow we start.
>> Tomorrow we start the detox program.
Me and Hung are both going to be detoxing starting tomorrow.
War Zone. What? I can't just download War Zone. It comes as a part of a package. You have to buy something to use War Zone.
>> No.
>> Where?
>> That's not true.
>> Let me take a look here.
War Zone, huh? So, you're saying type in War Zone. Let's see.
Call of Duty War Zone. It is free. Huh.
Look at that. Okay. I'm going to download it right now.
>> Are you sure you're Vietnamese?
Oh yeah. Wait a minute. Why don't we do one v one in PUBG again first?
and strengthen their social bonds for people that are watching us. Then we can possibly
