Added:Oh, I know. What we really want to hear is that cyber cab, robo taxi, etc. has got all kinds of vehicles out on the road driving without right without any kind of supervision. That's what we'd like to hear. But I want to tell you something. What you're going to hear is a pretty good breadcrumb on the way to that. And there's not just one breadcrumb. There are several. And we'll get into it in just right now. We're going to just start get right to the top of it. Somehow I have my information messed up. Okay, let's take a look here.
Spencer says, "Breaking Tesla just published the first responders cycle responders guide for cyber cam." He says he's gone through the document. He's highlighted some things. So, let's look here. First of all, um contacting support and geo fencing. First responders can contact Tesla robo taxi support 24/7 to give a phone number or or this or via the onboard two-way communication device. They can also request temporary geo fencing to block robo taxi traffic within 1,000 ft of an incident. How about that? That's pretty interesting. What a good idea. Number two, identifying the cyber cab. The Cyber Cab features distinct light bars, a unique form factor, that's for sure, large wheel covers, and gold coloration.
Notably, it has no side mirrors. It has no It has doors that open via a button on the Bpillar. What about inside the cabin? The Cyber Cab has two seats and is not equipped with a steering wheel or acceleration/ brake pedals. The cabin is dominated by a large landscape touchscreen and there is no glove box. Number four, autonomous mode behavior. Cyber cabs operate at SAE level 4 autonomy. The vehicle's fully self-driving unless hazard lights flash rapidly. It yields to first responder lights and sirens and will pull over if followed by an emergency vehicle. Number five, disabling autonomous mode.
Autonomous mode is disabled by a Tesla rep. It it will be automatically disabled after a safety critical event like a collision or when pulled over.
When disabled, hazard lights flash rapidly, two times normal speed, and the doors unlock. Number six, yielding and pulling over, the vehicle uses cameras and sound detection to yield to sirens.
If followed by a responder with lights and sirens, it pulls over, parks, disables autonomous mode, and initiates two-way communication with Tesla support, including including an external microphone. Number seven, safety critical events. In a collision or airbag deployment, the vehicle stops, parks, flashes hazards rapidly, unlocks doors, rolls down windows if airbags are airbags are deployed, and connects to Tesla support who can't contact 911 if necessary. Number eight, immobilizing the vehicle. Responders must chalk the wheels. So, first responders needs to chalk the wheels because the vehicle moves quietly. Blocking a cabin door open also prevents autonomous mode from re-engaging. Responders can also request immobilization from Tesla's support. Then number 10, cyber cab test vehicles can occasionally include a steering wheel for manual operations.
Tesla vehicles operate different differently from many other vehicles.
Tesla recommends that first responders who haven't operated a Tesla vehicle should familiarize themselves with the controls. They've familiarized themselves with the controls. They'll go out and buy one. [laughter] So, here Meritt says, "Here's some additional cyberc info info from official documents being released."
Cyber Cyber Cabab includes a an active hood that raises during certain pedestrian impacts to reduce injuries.
Cyber has pressurized air canisters and camera cameras camera washers. If a cyber cab is in a roadway or in a dangerous position, first responders can manually move the the vehicle using onboard vehicle controls. There are at least 10 airbags, front airbags, knee airbags, inner seat mounted side airbags, outer seat mounted side airbags, and curtain airbags. The interior door handles of Cyber Cab have two dons with the second dant acting as an emergency mechanical release. CyberCap window switches are situated underneath the touch screen. [laughter] The touch screen. [snorts] Cyberc cab uses both a 400volt high voltage battery, not 800, I'm sorry, a 400vt high voltage battery and a 48vt low voltage battery. So that's news. That's an update. Cyber cab robotax is equipped with Tesla sea sap level 4 automated driving system. Um, when in autonomous mode, the vehicle's designed to be capable of performing the entire dynamic driving task without any input from a human driver. Opening the door or unpuckling the B passenger seat belt automatically causes the robo taxi to disengage and park. The battery pack coolant is orange in color. There are two first responder loops for redundancy. One under the hood and one behind the passenger side B pillar. The charge port is center below the truck trunk instead of in the rear fender, but we already knew that Cyber Cab has a manual emergency charge cable release hidden behind the rear wheel liner. The vehicle has exterior microphones and speakers for two-way communication with te Tesla robo taxi support. So they can do it from the outside or the inside.
While waiting for a new ride booking, CyberCap robbo taxi roams its area of operation or proceeds to a charging station or parking lot. If the battery charger level is too low to conduct another ride, Cybertruck Robboi proceeds automatically to a charging station before accepting any new bookings. If CyberCap robot taxi experiences connectivity or hardware issues, the hazard lights flash rapidly and the vehicle attempts to pull over at the nearest safe stopping location. CyberCap Robbo taxi is also designed to respond to clearly visible hand signals from first responders and can follow pathways designated by cones. Tesla says this.
The cybercap robo taxi operates design do operational design domains includes all public roadways such as freeways, highways, city streets, rural roads as well as private roadways and service stations. Also parking lots, charging stations, car washes and parking garage.
CyberCamp robot taxi is also capable of navigating pickup and drop drop off zones to initiate or complete trips.
CyberCamp robot taxi can operate autonomously at all times of day and night and under light and moderate precipitation such as rain, fog, and snow. Cyber Robbo taxi does not accept new rides when extreme weather conditions are expected. If unexpectedly caught by extreme weather conditions, CyberCap Robboi is designed to pull over at the near the nearest safe stopping location and park. Tesla robo taxi support is then notified and can recover the vehicle and or passengers.
Sawyer America contends. He says Tesla has just released their company compiled second quarter analysts delivery consensus. Are you ready? This is the second quarter delivery consensus. Just four days be four days. Yeah. Thursday.
Five days. Five. Just five days before [clears throat] they're going to announce the actual numbers. The delivery consensus is at 46,000 vehicles. I'm not going to go over my list again. I've gone over it with you several times. I think we're going to be at 490, maybe even over 500. Um, but they're expecting uh 46. They are they are expecting 13.8 gigawatts. That is the very very very low just slightly under my load number at 14 gigawatts. I think it's more likely to be 16, 18, even 20. And then uh so there you are.
That's what we've got just five days ahead. All right. Joe Tag Buyer says, "Anyone have any idea why they would be expanding production capacity for 4680s at Giga Texas? Most of the internal reconfiguration and construction work is nearly complete." And the last production cabinet arrived today. It's almost like they're going to make a lot more 4680s.
So, that's good. We wanted more 4680s.
We've expected 44 more 4680s, but I wonder if this is more than just the 200 gawatt hours that we were promised or whether this is in addition to that.

Today, the Austin American Statesman continues the story about robo taxi.
Tesla Inc. officially began operating a robo taxi service in Austin a year ago.
Now, leadership at the Texas DOT, Department of Trans Transportation, thinks its fleet could start to surge.
TX dot executive director Mark Williams experienced a production version of the Cyber Cab at the Texas Innovation Invitational, and he wrote on LinkedIn afterward that the purpose-built robo taxi will be dram will dramatically scale Tesla's cab operations over the coming months. Observing this vehicle firsthand, from its design of butterfly doors to the cargo trunk configuration provides a tangible example of how quickly our transportation system is evolving. Williams wrote, "Sitting inside the cabin, the complete absence of traditional driver controls underscores a significant shift in mobility and vehicle design. No steering wheel, no accelerator, no brake, only a single touchscreen monitor.
The individual meant to highlight emerging technologies and potential safety improvements arrived at Tesla runs operating operate uh arrived as Tesla runs operates a ro rob robotic robo taxi fleet of just 69 models across the lonear state. Eventually the total fleet size is dwarfed by 620 Whimos in Texas. As Williams wrote, the Cyber Cab is expected to eventually be folded into the Tesla robo taxi fleet and could help boost its number of vehicles on the road. For now, sightings of the vehicle without a steering wheel have been limited.
Amy Tissson from she is a uh an editor over at Yeah, I forget. Anyway, she's an essay, you know what SA stands for, right? She's a news editor there. Tesla has the stock has quietly settled. Well, actually the company, she was just giving the stock name. They have quietly settled a lawsuit stemming from a 2023 full self-driving FSD accident in which a pedestrian was struck by a Model Y in FSD mode. Terms of the settlement were not disclosed. According to Bloomberg, the collision occurred on an Arizona highway when Jonah Story stepped out of her vehicle. She was trying to help direct traffic around an accident in which the driver's vision was impaired by sun glare. The story was subsequent this story the the individual who was killed was subsequently struck by a Tesla Model Y driving at high speeds while in FSD mode. The accident raised questions about FSD capabilities when vision is degraded by glare, dust or fog. The crash prompted an investigation by the National Highway Traffy Traffic Safety Administration to test FSD in similar conditions. The investigation found Tesla FSD did not detect common roadway conditions that impaired camera visibility until immediately before a crash, giving the driver little time to uh react, the driver that drive the car little time to react, mirroring similar results in tests conducted by Tesla.
When asked about the issue in the company's first quarter earnings call, Tesla VP of vehicle engineering Lars Moravi said the cameras were changed some months ago while executive officer Ashakwami added that the company implement implemented stricter measures for the visibility of the camera. So, in recent builds, if the camera is not able to see things clearly because of residue buildup or what have you, then the FSD won't be available for those cars, Ellis Swami said. All right.
