[00:00:02]Well, walking out the door today, it is going to be warm, muggy, and windy.

[00:00:06]Feeling more like a summer day rather than a mid-spring day. Temperatures this morning in the 70s across the board and a lot of cloud cover. With that cloud cover and that wind and that moisture, that's what's leading to a very warm start to the day. It'll be a very warm finish to the way today as well. High temperatures in low to mid-80s across the region. Some upper 80s in the river valley, maybe close to 90 there in Poteau. We're going to see that strong southwest wind at 10 to 20 gusts as high as 35. And with most of the day dry, we could see a few isolated storms late today into the early night hours. Now, formation of these storms are going to be very isolated. I think the higher chance is the farther east you live. But if storms are able to fire off from about 5:00 p.m. to midnight, some of them could have some very large hail, possibly up to 2 in in diameter, which is a little bit bigger than golf ball size. Could also see some gusty winds at 50 to 60 mph. The tornado chance, thankfully, is very low cuz most of these storms will be elevated. Mainly, you're seeing that hail kind of fall from the sky. So, we'll see what that looks like on Futurecast. And noticing that maybe a few spotty showers this morning, but once we get into the late afternoon hours into the early evening hours, here's 5:00, seeing those spotty cells pop up. Again, they're not going to be much, but those that can form, especially you see those dark pinks, that's usually indicative not only heavy rain, but that large hail potential.

[00:01:22]There's 8:00 and seeing those spotty storms. Most activity will be well off to our east, but again, some of those could linger into our neck of the woods as well. 10:00, maybe a few storms hanging on our south and eastern edge, and then by midnight, I think that chance wraps up, and then we'll see pretty quiet conditions for the rest of our overnight hours, and then we'll have a break into early tomorrow morning.

[00:01:41]Tomorrow's chance is going to be a little bit higher, not only with storm coverage, but with severe weather potential as well. Level two out of five chance in place in yellow for really the entire five news coverage area. It's just that maybe for far northern Benton County, maybe a little bit less chance of storms. But I think this chance is pretty likely area-wide.

[00:01:59]Timing roughly between 12:00 to 8:00 p.m. And with this, again, large hail potential is there, possibly a little bit bigger than golf ball size, and some isolated cells could see maybe up to tennis ball size hail. 60 to 70 mph winds is another concern, especially the farther south and east you live as the storms kind of organize. That could become a more of a wind threat. The tornado chance remains low, but it's not zero. There is a little bit of a very slightly higher chance, but overall remains low. In addition to that, we're going to see some heavy rain out of this cuz again, storm coverage is going to be a lot more widespread tomorrow. So, especially the farther south and east you live in the river valley, really for much of the region, but especially in the river valley, we'll see a little bit of a higher chance of that flash flood concern.

[00:02:40]So, that's the outlook. We'll show you again what that looks like on Futurecast. So, tomorrow morning here, we're starting off quiet, but as early as noon, we'll see storms develop. And again, it's not showing up here on Futurecast, but as early as noon, we'll see those storms firing in. But here's 2:00, we're seeing that dark pink and purple again indicating that yeah, we could see some heavy rain, large hail potential as well, some gusty winds.

[00:03:05]4:00, it's going to move from west to east throughout the region. 5:00, starting to exit south and east, and then again by 8:00, we'll see those storms clear out, and then we'll be very quiet not only for our Tuesday night, but for much of the rest of the week.

[00:03:19]We're noticing temperatures are going to be dropping here as that cold front sweeps through. Maybe seeing a few showers on Friday, but those will not be severe. And then as you head into the weekend, looks very nice and a lot more comfortable. Highs in the upper 60s and lower 70s. Seeing more sunshine as well.

[00:03:34]Wind should be a lot quieter. So, it looks awesome really once we get past tomorrow evening, but we still have to watch for those storm chances today and especially tomorrow. That's why we have that weather impact alert for tomorrow.
