[00:02:33]>> Let's get something straight. You mean to tell me you don't remember going to the plant and taking those pictures?

[00:02:37]>> That's exactly what I'm saying. Now, if you don't believe me, why am I here?

[00:02:40]>> We do believe you. At least I do.

[00:02:44]>> Thank you, Miss West. I'm grateful for small favors, but would you mind telling me why? You saw everything that I did.

[00:02:52]You even have pictures that you took to prove it.

[00:02:54]>> Seeing's not believing. Well, you were more like a robot last night than a man.

[00:02:59]>> So, what's my next step besides joining the unemployment line?

[00:03:11]I don't see how I can lose, but I honestly don't see how I can help you either. I can't remember anything.

[00:03:26]>> Well, it's funny that you should mention that because just a few days ago, I received a special invitation in the mail. It was part of some kind of promotional publicity stunt for a nightclub. They said there'd be free drinks, dinner, entertainment.

[00:03:40]It was called the um the sandbox, I think.

[00:03:46]>> And >> and I went well, they had a show and there was this lady hypnotist.

[00:03:53]>> Now, for my final experiment, we are in the Amazon [music] rainforest and it's hot, very, very hot.

[00:04:02]I wouldn't be surprised if the temperature is 120°.

[00:04:18]>> [music] >> Cigarettes.

[00:04:21]>> Cigarettes. [music] >> This is one of our invitations, isn't it?

[00:04:30]>> Yes. Is something wrong?

[00:04:32]>> Oh, heavens no. No. I just want to leave some cigars for your husband. It's part of our get acquainted policy. Oh, that's very nice.

[00:04:37]>> Which one is he?

[00:04:39]>> The one on the [music] end.

[00:04:40]>> I don't know why you're all so hot.

[00:05:57]85 North Street, top floor, 11:30.

[00:06:23]>> Yeah, that's right.

[00:06:25]>> Come here, Mr. Tyler. Be seated.

[00:06:31][music] >> You're here because of a hypnotic suggestion. A >> what? Look, uh, don't explain it to him.

[00:06:39]Just tell him. Huh?

[00:06:39]>> Very well. Now, listen carefully, Mr. Tyler. The company you work for has a new die [music] stamping process. You've heard of it, haven't you?

[00:06:46]>> Yes. We would like a photograph of those blueprints. [music] They're kept in a safe on the fifth floor. Tomorrow night, you will work late. We will give you a camera, [music] and when everyone has left the plant, you will photograph those blueprints. Is that clear?

[00:07:02]>> Feeling better?

[00:07:06]>> Why don't you ask my lawyer?

[00:07:08]>> You don't have anything to say?

[00:07:11]>> Maybe she thinks she can hypnotize the jury.

[00:07:14]>> She'll have to. Two attempts at murder and the whole espionage bit. That's quite a list of charges.

[00:07:19]>> I don't know what you mean.

[00:07:20]>> Ho ho ho. It >> was a beautiful gimmick while it lasted.

[00:07:23]Hypnotizing all those businessmen and not one of them remembers a thing.

[00:07:26]>> Oh, that that's marvelous. Why don't you try proving it?

[00:07:29]>> That won't be too difficult. Shall we talk about it to the police?

[00:07:32]>> Wait a minute. It wasn't our idea. We're working for someone else.

[00:07:37]>> Shut up.

[00:07:37]>> Well, why should we take all the blame?

[00:07:39]We're only a delivery service.

[00:07:41]>> Yeah, that's what you say.

[00:07:42]>> But I mean it. We just do the dirty work. We're paid for delivering the photographs.

[00:07:47]>> Who's your employer?

[00:07:49]>> I don't know.

[00:07:51]>> Sam, call the police.

[00:07:53]>> No, wait, wait, wait. She's telling you the truth. We never met him.

[00:07:57]>> You say you're the delivery service.

[00:07:59]Where do you go? A sauna bath on Santa Monica.

[00:08:02]>> A sauna bath?

[00:08:03]>> I put the photographs in my locker and I leave the key [music] under some towels.

[00:08:08]Then I take a steam bath and when I come back, the photographs are gone and somebody's left on money. It's like the good little tooth fairy.
