Immigration attorney facing fraud allegations resigns

[00:00:00]Alexandra Lozano resigned from the Washington State Bar last week. Now, several families from Oregon and Washington have come forward saying they hired her and they're worried she's put their immigration status in jeopardy.

[00:00:15]Washington State Bar Association says Alexandra Lozano used her position of power to take advantage of immigrants trying to stay in the US legally.

[00:00:26]>> She wasn't doing the consultations. She had non-lawyers doing the consultation giving legal advice. Non-lawyers were just putting her stamp on applications.

[00:00:35]>> One woman says her father was deported at the border when he tried to return from Mexico because of the claims in his legal paperwork.

[00:00:44]>> When he arrived at the southern border, um, Customs Border Patrol basically said that they were denying his application because there was fraud and accused him of the fraud.
