The Genetic Stripe (GS) mutation in Ball Pythons creates a distinctive stripe from neck to tail, and when combined with other mutations like Ultramel, Yellow Belly, Fire, and Clown, it produces increasingly complex and vibrant coloration patterns, with Yellow Belly significantly enhancing side patterning and flaming while Fire increases overall coloration and broadens the stripe.

These Hatchlings Are Absolutely WILD… 🤯本站添加:
Hey everyone, it's PJ here from RFC and today's video we're going to take a look at the GS Ultramel Clown project. The GS Clown project is a project we've been working on for quite some time and finally we have the end results to show you guys. So, let's go take a look at these babies.
So, Genetic Stripe Ball Pythons is one of the first ever recessive Ball Python mutations that was actually introduced into the Ball Python world and slowly but surely we've actually seen some incredible combos that has been hatched out by the GS project. Of course, the iconic Kiki Ball [music] which is the GS Clown project is probably the best Genetic Stripe project currently out there. And in terms of co-dominant mutations [music] and other recessives that we can add into this project, I mean, Ultramel works really well with it. Desert Ghost [music] is also and even Hypo. So, it's really cool to see the GS project finally taking off and I think going forward in the near future there should be [music] huge potential with this gene. So, here we've actually got a Pastave DG [music] Genetic Stripe and unfortunately with Pastel Mojave in this combo we lose the iconic Genetic Stripe stripe but we still have the faint stripe here actually at the back stripe or the back end of this animal.
So, beautiful snake. I really love this interaction. This female has actually got a really nice yellowish tone to her and she's actually a breeder size female. So, there's still so much we can do with this project. I think the Xanthic Desert Ghost Genetic Stripe will be absolutely insane and we've actually got some animals to reproduce that combo in the next few seasons. Okay guys, so we've got quite a few different Genetic Stripe hatchlings this year with different incomplete co-dominant mutations and in a few recessives as well. So, this is actually just a plain Genetic Stripe and this animal is actually double het for Xanthic and Hypo.
But of course, the most prominent characteristic of the genetic stripe is, of course, the stripe running from the neck to the tail, actually. Some of the animals have a completely broken-up stripe. [music] I've seen actually some genetic stripe, which is really uh faded out, and in some portions of the body actually it's got only a small faint line. But, this is actually a really beautiful example, as you guys can see is really nice contrast between the brown colorations we've got. We've got a little bit of the black outlining, >> [music] >> and then of course the nice golden coloration here on top on the stripe itself. So, really cool animal. So, this is a little female, and we hatched out actually quite a few different um codominant GS as [music] well. And the next animal we've got here is actually a yellow belly genetic stripe, which [music] is double het for ultramel and clown. And you guys will see is yellow belly brought [music] in actually a lot of coloration. It brought out a bit more actually of the side patterning compared to the normal GS, who doesn't [music] have any of the side patterns. And you guys will also see the increased amount of flaming we've got here from the yellow belly.
So, it's actually crazy to think yellow belly, which is such a subtle mutation, has got such a huge effect on a genetic stripes. And I actually love this look.
I think there's so much we can still do [music] with it, and I think even the ultramel version of this will be absolutely insane.
And in here we've got actually a fire genetic stripe, which is also double het for ultramel clown. And you guys will see is fire doesn't add as many flaming on the side, but it does increase the amount of coloration we have in the genetic stripes in general.
Guys will also see is what I've seen is with the yellow belly and with the fire compared to the normal genetic stripe, the stripe is definitely much more broader, and also the amount of colorations and flaming we have on these two combos is much more. So you guys and then here we've got the fire yellow belly genetic stripe, which is also double hit ultramel clown. And this animal plus [music] the yellow belly GS and the fire GS is actually also poss hit puzzle. And judging by this one's faint eye stripes, I think this one has got a good possible chance of proving out >> [music] >> to be hit for puzzle as well. But now you guys can see as we still have the awesome flaming of the yellow belly.
We've got the increased amount of coloration of the fire, but we've actually got so much more blushing and so much more coloration of the fire yellow belly interaction with the GS. So it's crazy to see how these two genes come so well to with each other in the GS project. And just adding so much more patterning. I mean, this animal looks almost like there's GHI or something else also in the mix. I don't mean the pairing was just a fire GS >> [music] >> double hit ultramel clown to a yellow belly triple hit puzzle GS clown. So just a really amazing animal and I must say I think if we take this to ultramel and even to DG, it's going to be an incredible snake.
And guys, on to some of the double visuals we were able to produce this year. So we've got a pair of hypo GS, which [music] is 50% hit for examthic.
We actually already got this little female's shed test back >> [music] >> and she proved out to be 100% hit for examthic. The male we haven't shed tested yet. We still have to collect his shed and send it off to ProHerp.
But just looking at these two animals, there is actually somewhat of a difference. The female, in my opinion, is actually a bit more vibrant and the coloration just pop a bit more compared to this male. But if you compare it to the female, you guys will see as the female has really got some nice outline colorations and also the yellows are just more prominent. So could that be the head exotic influence? Surely it could [music] be. And I think once we've got the shed test results back, it will give us a conclusive answer. [music] But, I just actually love the look of the hyper GS. I think this is a project we haven't seen people working on, but I think the hyper GS clown and even the hyper exotic GS [music] is such a great project that we can do in the near future. And I mean, especially if we go to quad recessives, exotic hyper GS clowns, I think it'll be absolutely insane. So, we might actually keep back this little female and grow her up for the future. [music] I think it's a stunning animal and we can still do so much with her. And guys, we had three different pairings for GS clowns this year and we were lucky enough >> [music] >> to hit one double visual on each clutch and all of them actually proved out to be 100% hit ultramel. So, this has been a great luck with the GS clown project and hopefully in the near future we'll be able to produce the GS ultramel clowns. But, here's the first animal we've got and this is a fire genetic stripe clown hit [music] for ultramel.
And you guys will see is the colors is actually like a very soft look to it and we've got some flaming here in the patterning of the clown. But, I just love how actually genetic stripe and clown works with each other. With clown just comes and actually dominates the GS stripe and just completely breaks it up and we've got this really >> [music] >> prominent and markings here which just is so beautiful and I must say so different to any clown combos. So, it's really a cool animal and I think it's a great base to work with in the future.
And then over here, we've actually got the yellow belly GS clown hit ultramel.
And I actually prefer this animal over the fire GS clown just because this animal has got even more patterning and the contrast is just so well. You guys will see is this animal has got a bit more of outlining blacks, where this animal is more of a faded look. But you guys will see is overall this animal has got so much patterning, and it's crazy to think that the one gene makes a huge difference like this. Um I really love the look of this animal. I think there's so much we can do with it. And I do think the hyper auto ultra male version of this will be absolutely insane. Um especially with the nice dark contrast we've got on this combo. And then guys, here we've got the fire yellowbelly genetic stripe. And you guys will see we've got actually a bit of both of these two animals combined in this snake. We've got the awesome pattern that the yellowbelly brought to the GS clown, but we've also got the soft look that fire brought to this combo. And when they interact with each other, we get amazing contrast >> [music] >> with a lot of flaming. I just love the colorations in the clown saddles here. I think it's absolutely stunning. And I think going forward, you know, if we add red stripe [music] and spot nose um to this combo, I think it's going to work so well. So like I said, all three of these animals actually proved out [music] to be 100% het for ultra male. So which out of these three combos do you guys prefer? Do you prefer the fire GS clown, or do you prefer the yellowbelly GS clown, or do you prefer the fire yellowbelly GS clown? All three animals are equally as beautiful for me, but honestly I do prefer the ones with yellowbelly just because it brings out so much coloration and patterning. So three awesome GS clown projects. All three of them are males, so we're going to keep back one male, and we're actually going to sell two of the other ones. So if you guys are interested in this project, make sure to go to our Morph Market, as we'll have some great animals available soon. I hope you guys enjoyed this video, and comment down below what you think about the GS project. [music] I think long term, the GS project has got huge potential, and it's going to become very important actually to add more pattern to these combos. So, really excited to see what will be produced in the near future by the GS project, [music] and we can't wait to take you guys on a journey.
That's it for this video. Huge shout out to all of our Patreon members. We do appreciate your support, [music] and we'll see you guys in the next one.
