Pirates of the Caribbean At World's End First Time Reaction | Is This the BEST in the Series?Added:
In order to affect a timely halt to deteriorating conditions, A state of emergency is declared for these territories by decree of Lord Kaklit, duly appointed representative of his majesty the king. The following statutes are temporarily amended. Right to assembly suspended.
>> Right to habius corpus suspended.
>> Right to legal council >> suspended.
>> Suspended. All persons found guilty of piracy or aiding a person convicted of piracy shall be sentenced to hang by the neck until dead.
>> Like Order 66.
>> To be honest, that was a lot of pirates.
>> Well, even if you're aiding the pirates apparently, too.
>> Yeah, >> man. Not the little pirate.
>> I don't know. A young pirate. That's jacked up.
He >> is a good little voice.
>> It sounds like he just put a curse on them.
>> You know the song, right?
>> Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I've heard it before.
This opening is tough, guys.
>> How can you kill them when they're like in sync?
>> What?
>> I wouldn't be able to, >> man. They want to kill them more now.
>> Finally.
>> That's definitely my favorite opening so far.
>> Oh, yeah. Me, too. Do you think Jack Sparrow knows that song?
>> Absolutely. His mom's probably sung it to him to bed.
>> This place is really cool looking.
>> I know.
>> Thief and beggar. Dangerous song to be singing for any who are ignorant of his meaning. Particularly a woman alone.
>> What makes you think she's alone?
>> Hey, there he is. Let's go, Barbosa. H >> your masters expected us and an unexpected death that cost a slight call on our meeting.
>> I was wondering why she had the rice hat on.
>> So she can navigate without getting hung. I guess she can't walk around like a pirate.
>> Yeah, but she should have sang in an Asian accent.
>> I don't think that she's allowed to.
Disney and all.
There she goes.
>> All right.
>> Oh, the monkeyy's on our side now.
>> Yeah.
>> Have you heard anything from Will?
>> I trust young Turner to acquire the charge and you to remember your place in the presence of Captain Self.
>> Is he that terrifying? He's much like myself, but absent my merciful nature.
>> He sounds scary.
>> True. Ain't pretty.
>> You think because she is a woman, we would not suspect her of treachery.
>> Oh, >> strapped up, boy.
She is Jack made.
>> That's exactly what I was about to say.
She's acting just like him, ain't she?
>> Hey, move.
>> Is it their bathtub?
>> It's kind of crazy in there, actually.
>> Oh.
Welcome to Singapore.
More steam.
>> I feel like Pirates of the Caribbean done went big trouble in Little China on us.
>> That's exactly what I was thinking. And our daughter has green eyes right now.
Yeah.
>> And that makes me think of that every day. He's going to get stolen.
>> That guy is massive. I have a venture underway and I find myself in need of a ship and a crew. It's an odd coincidence >> because you happen to have a ship and a crew you don't need >> because earlier this day a thief broke into my most revered uncle's temple. The route to the farthest gate.
>> Oh, need that.
>> Oh, he's the thief.
>> This is the thief. Is his face familiar to you?
>> Mm- Who's that?
>> Then I guess he has no further need for it.
>> You come into my city and you betray my hospitality.
You intend to attempt a voyage to David Jungla, but I cannot help but wonder why.
So eccentric.
>> You got that long pinky nail.
>> We must convene the brethren court as one of the nine pirate lords. You must honor the call.
>> So he just got summoned to court. Except he's one of the judges.
>> MORIN, >> so they have to do it. Yeah.
Holy becket >> against the East India trading card.
>> What value is the breath court?
>> You can fight. Get off me. You are southborders.
Where waves are?
>> The most notorious pirates from around the world are uniting against our enemy.
And yet you sit here cowering in your bathwater. You have failed to answer my question. What is it you seek in David Jun's locker?
>> Jack Sparrow.
>> He's one of the pirate lords.
>> Oh, they giggled cuz they knew him.
>> Yeah.
>> In zinc, too. They were like together.
>> Jack Sparrow holds one of the nine pieces of eight. So, we must go and get him back.
That wasn't very permanent.
>> Weapons.
>> Our intentions are strictly honorable.
>> Oh, that was exciting.
>> Drop your weapons. Want to kill a man.
>> Whose guy is that?
>> He's not our man.
>> If he's not with you and he's not with us, who's he with?
>> Uh-oh.
Oh, that guy was an informant. Oh, man.
>> He said, "Kill him. It's not our man."
>> Oh, damn.
Oh, >> she's going to have a revenge art.
>> She didn't mourn her sister at all. She went straight to revenge mode. She went, >> "Yep, she's coming back for somebody.
Maybe if they go to Davy Jones locker then maybe she can find her there. I don't know. Or does that only happen for people who go under the sea?
Boy, >> I like that Barbosa is with us again. He was a great pirate.
Wow, >> she did that. That's what that meant.
>> Dang, they took out both of them.
>> The East India Trading Company finds me the day you show up in Singapore. If you want to make a deal with Beckett, you need what I offer. You cross Babosa. You are willing to cross Jack's barrel. Why should I expect any better? I need the black pearl to free my father.
>> I hate that Will has to be so sneaky and stuff though, >> right? But that guy just got the inside scoop.
>> Monkey business.
>> Uh-oh.
Oh, >> do we know that monkeyy's name?
Thank you, Jack.
>> Oh, yeah. It's Jack. It's Jack.
Remember, cuz he talked to the Jack.
Jack thought he was talking to him.
>> Yeah.
>> A ship and a crew. South.
>> He'll cover our escape and lead us to ship co this way. I'll be quick.
>> There's no place left for South to power. Do you think he will honor the call?
>> I cannot say. There's an evil on these seas that even the most staunch and bloodthirsty pirates have come to fear.
We're still worried about that Kraken, too, right?
>> Oh, I mean, that thing's probably healed up by now. Probably got some scabs on his tentacles.
>> So, the pirates are being hunted to the edge of extinction by everybody.
>> They're a dying breed.
>> A piece of eight. Nine of them, you say?
>> My new friend in Singapore was very specific, sir. What's the significance of that, I wonder?
>> Ah, Admiral, >> you summoned me.
>> There he goes.
>> Your new station deserves an old friend.
>> Oh, is that a sword?
>> Let's go.
>> Not moral requisition orders.
>> No, sir. Execution.
>> The brethren know they face extinction.
All that remains is for them to decide where they make their final stand.
>> So, he has to execute people with that sword. Uh-uh.
>> I mean, yeah, he's going to have to kill pirates or he's going to have to give up his position.
>> But he was kind of a pirate.
>> I know. A poor Jack.
>> No one said anything about Cole. Why don't that obey woman just bring Jack back the same way she brought back Barbosa?
>> Because Barbosa was only dead. Jack Sparrow is taken to a place not of death, but punishment.
>> That answers my question.
>> Yeah. stretching on forever. That's what her weights at David's locker.
>> It sounds like the back rooms.
>> I always thought it was an actual locker.
>> Like you tight, you get a little coat >> like high school. Go help.
>> Oh [ __ ] >> Nothing here is said, but it leads to more places over again. Flash of green. Do you care to interpret? Captain Barbosen, >> ever gazed upon the green flash. Master Gims happens on rare occasion. The last glimpse of sunset, a green flash shoots up into the sky. Some go their whole lives without ever seeing it. And some say it signals when a soul comes back to this world from the dead.
>> Sorry. It's not getting to the land of the dead. That's the problem. It's getting back.
It's getting back.
>> Let's go. This world is freaking nuts.
>> I know.
>> Like I wouldn't want to be cold at all.
Like especially on like a like a ship like this.
>> Oh, I know.
>> Cuz there's no escaping it and you like can't build a fire. But this would be so cool to see.
>> Mine is like if you ran into an iceberg.
You got to look out for those the entire time.
>> Bloody hell. There's nothing left. Fetch the chest. And the governor, he's been asking questions about the heart. Does he know? Then perhaps his usefulness has run its course.
>> Chill out, bro.
>> No.
>> Everyone who cares about us far away from him.
>> Oh, that makes me sad.
And then it becomes unsad when he wipes it with that.
>> His sadness turned to anger so fast.
That's how little kids are when they fall off the bike.
>> Yeah.
>> And they just start raging.
>> Don't touch me.
>> I had a kid like that in my neighborhood. He'd wreck his scooter and start swinging >> even though it was his fault.
>> Yes.
Go over there and take that infernal thing with you. I will not HAVE IT ON MY SHIP.
>> OH, I'm sorry to hear that because it seems to be the only way to ensure that this ship do is directed by the company.
>> Yeah, he seems scared of him when he ran walked up.
>> We need prisoners to interrogate. The Dutchman sails as its captain commands, >> and its captain is to sail it as commanded.
This is no longer your world.
>> Charge your planets.
>> What?
>> They basically have them held hostage essentially.
>> Insane.
>> That was my favorite scene from this whole trilogy so far.
>> Yeah.
>> Once we rescue Jack, everything will be fine.
I don't like how it's going between them right now.
>> For what we want most, there is a cost must be paid in the end.
>> Propos ahead.
>> I We're good and lost now. For certain you have to be lost to find the places can't be found.
>> THE STATION.
WHO HAS THE STATION?
>> HEY, Captain Barbosa seems so confident though.
>> I know.
>> Why is he freaking out for though? I don't get it.
>> Oh, is that a waterfall?
Oh, it's that world's ends. That's the end of the world.
>> So, literally, they might have to go down that. Oh, heck no.
>> You've changed us.
>> Don't be so unkind. You may not survive to pass this way again. And these were the last friendly words you leave.
>> I would want to know how does the water get replenished? Don't you think the earth would run out of water?
>> Cuz it's like falling off somewhere.
>> Yeah.
>> I would have had to opt out of that one.
>> Oh, now y'all about to go backwards though.
Oh, I'd be so scared cuz where does that go?
>> Hopefully it's like a cat and it always lands downwards, you know?
>> It always lands on his toes.
>> Yeah.
>> Well, a ship ain't got toes, honey.
Is this Jack?
>> Oh, he's broke.
Oh, so he's in the locker right now.
That's why it's so weird.
>> So he's about to take the peanut.
>> STEP WILL HELP ME.
>> That's probably hell.
>> HELP.
>> MAN THE YARD, YOU FILTHY TOADS.
>> Which one's the real Jack?
>> Sparrow. What say you about the condition of this tack line? It'd be proper to my eyes, sir. It is neither proper nor suitable.
>> Oh, he's hard on himself.
>> We have lost speed and therefore time which cannot be recovered once lost. DO YOU UNDERSTAND?
>> I have no sympathy for any of you feculaggots and no more patience to pretend otherwise.
>> So he's out here role playing.
>> I think that sun's getting to him.
It's like Drew and Joe.
>> No wind. My soul I do swear breeze.
>> This would be horrific to wake up in I know why. Why would he do that?
>> Is like that rock taunting him or something.
>> This is weird.
rock.
I mean, it's the only thing around to lick. I guess >> I would have sniffed it first.
>> In this weird world, it might taste like cotton candy, but it's a it's a crab.
He's like, "Don't lick me, you weirdass [ __ ] pirate."
This is trippy actually.
>> Now, could you imagine being stuck here for eternity?
>> I would be queen of the crabs, though.
>> You already are. I'm just kidding.
>> I would teach them how to boil themselves.
>> Yeah. In what water?
>> I'm not sure.
Are they moving the ship >> like Ant-Man?
>> Yeah, he just got GTAed by some crabs.
>> I mean, the only thing you can do in that world is just walk towards the mountains and see what you can see.
Look, see Jack?
>> He's here. We're trapped here by your doing. No different than Jack.
>> Witty Jack is closer than you think.
>> Sorry, guys. Oh, shoot. There he is, guys. I didn't realize that uh there was an ocean in this world because Jack woke up on the pearl, but the pearl was like stranded in the middle of all the land.
So, I thought it just sort of like fell from the sky and just landed there. I thought that the sand just went on for eternity, but it turns out there's an ocean, so maybe we can escape.
Obviously.
>> Oh, he's going to be pissed, actually.
>> Yeah. Um, Elizabeth.
>> Yeah, >> it's kind of cool that he's still like a captain and he's not even on water.
>> It's like Jack Sparrow meets Dune.
>> Yeah.
>> Slap me thrice and hand me to me, mama.
It's Jack. Slap me thrice. Mr. CAPTAIN, >> hide the rum.
>> I expect you're able to account for your actions then. There's been a perpetual and virulent lack of discipline upon my vessel. WHY? WHY IS THAT, SIR? YOU'RE IN Davy Jones locker, Captain.
>> I know that.
>> Jack Sparrow.
>> Oh, Hector, it's been too long. I remember you shot me. No, I didn't.
Well, you had it coming though.
>> He thinks we're a hallucination.
>> I would too if I was him. Just let me see.
>> Cuz you need my help to save a certain distressing damsel.
>> You're not really here.
>> This is real. We're here.
>> We've come here to rescue you.
>> Very kind of you, but it would seem that as I possess a ship and you don't, you're the ones in need of rescuing.
I see my ship right there.
>> Oh, shoot. They're going to be arguing over the ship.
>> Can't spot it. Must be a tiny little thing hiding somewhere behind a pearl.
>> Cutler Becket has the heart of Davy Jones. He controls the Flying Dutchman.
>> Leave you people alone for just a minute. Look what happened.
>> Jack, the world needs your backs up and fierce.
>> And you need a crew.
>> Why should I sail with any of you? Four of you have tried to kill me in the past. One of you succeeded.
>> Called out. outed.
>> As for you, >> don't tell me I didn't enjoy it at the time.
>> Fair enough. All right, Julian. Don't leave you. You scare me. Gives you company.
>> He said you scare me.
>> Where do your allegiances lie >> with the highest bidder?
>> I have a ship.
>> That makes you the highest bidder.
>> Way, anchor, all hands. Prepare to make sail.
>> Jack, which way you going, Jack?
Oh, junk. He's got the ship. He's got the map.
>> WHEN RACES RACES, >> what are you doing?
>> What are you doing?
>> NO. WHAT ARE YOU DOING?
>> WHAT ARE YOU DOING?
>> NO. WHAT?
>> Captain gives orders on the ship.
>> The captain of the ship has given orders.
>> My ship makes ME CAPTAIN.
>> STEW IT. NOT BOTH OF YOU. THAT'S AN ORDER. UNDERSTAND?
>> Get your ass back to work.
>> Where did he come from?
>> Sorry. I just thought with the captain issue in doubt, I'd throw in my name for consideration.
Sorry.
>> Yeah, you better too.
>> I'll vote for you.
>> Pause it for one second. Can I tell you what that reminded me of and only you will get it?
>> What?
>> On that Gordon Ramsay show when that guy went out of character for that one second.
>> Oh, he was the best in the whole season, but he had one moment where he got too excited and he got called out. Yeah, that was hilarious.
Oh, why? Cuz his is all mini.
>> He left Jack to the Kraken.
>> He's rescued now. It's done with. Well, I >> don't act sad about it.
>> You chose not to tell me.
>> Well, now they have to go on a side quest to resave him. That's annoying.
>> It wasn't your burden to bear.
>> But I did bear it, didn't I?
>> You thought I loved him.
>> If you make your choices alone, how can I trust you?
You can't.
>> She's a pirate.
>> You think they're going to end up doing it before the end of the series?
>> I guess.
>> I feel like they're destined for her, right? There's so much tension when they talk to each other.
>> Oh, >> is that Souls? Cuz it reminds me of Hercules, that movie.
>> What would happen if you dropped a cannonball on one of them?
He looked at him like that was dumb.
>> They should be in the care of David Jones. That was the duty him was charged with by the goddess Calypso to f those who die at sea to the other side. And every 10 years him could come ashore to be with she who love him.
>> Well, that's sad as hell.
>> He wasn't always tentacling. No, it was a man once.
>> He >> I was going to say that earlier. I kind of jumped at it. Yeah, but I didn't want to be wrong. I didn't want to jump the gun.
>> Now his boat's coming.
>> So they're in love with each other.
>> Is that the one he loved and that's why his heart's all locked up?
>> I guess so.
>> We are nothing but ghosts to them.
>> This bears just let them be.
>> Oh, that's so scary.
They're trying to go to the other side.
It's >> my father. WE'VE MADE IT BACK. FATHER.
FATHER. NO.
>> I don't think that's good.
>> We're not back.
>> They executed him. He's dead.
>> Well, they didn't show us yet.
>> Father.
>> Elizabeth, are you dead?
>> I think I am.
>> A >> there was this chest, YOU SEE.
>> COME ABOARD. I learned that if you stab the heart, yours must take its place and you will sail the seas for eternity.
>> Oh, damn. The >> Dutchman must have a captain.
>> Someone pass the line.
>> So, if you stab the heart, you have to replace it.
>> And of destiny.
>> Take the line.
>> I don't think it works like this.
Elizabeth, >> I'm so proud OF YOU, ELIZABETH.
>> TAKE THE LINE. She must not leave. I want to leave you.
I'll give your love to your mother, shall I?
>> Please, I want you.
>> That was disturbing.
>> I know. That's a horrible way to find out.
>> He might peace.
>> No water.
>> If we cannot escape these dull drums before night, I fear we will sail on trackless seas.
>> Why doesn't he do something?
>> ME. GIVE IT BACK. THERE'S NO ASSEMBLY TO IT. And the green flash happens at sunset.
>> Up is down. Why are these things never clear? Clear as mud, Jackie. What? Hey, >> what?
>> What the? He's still a little cuckoo.
>> Sail the seas for eternity. I love the sea. What about port? Making port where we can get rum and salty wenches.
The immortal Captain Sparrow. What about that? Come sunset, it won't matter.
>> Sun down.
>> Up.
>> What's that?
>> He had that whole combo with himself.
>> What is that?
>> He needs some water.
>> Where? There.
>> What is it?
>> Is he trying to rock the boat?
>> So, I can make it move positions.
Ew.
>> We're rocking the ship.
>> He's high tight.
>> He's got the devil in him.
>> The tight cover of the mask upside down.
So when the boat flips, we'll be the right way up.
>> Feel like that's risky if you're wrong.
>> I know.
>> Oh, all the barrels are going to be rolling. Okay.
I think they're thinking about it wrong.
>> I know.
>> I think when they come on the other side, they're still just going to be upside down.
>> I would fall in that hole. I feel like >> Uh-oh. Oh, here we go.
Oh, it's beyond.
Oh, >> this is crazy.
>> You better be right, Jack.
>> It seems wrong.
The green light has to happen.
>> And the sun has to go down, I think.
They tie themselves up under there.
They're like, Dang.
>> Okay. I feel like Jack is a captain now, right?
>> Yeah.
>> I think that settles it.
>> I always thought it was like coincidence sometimes and he got lucky, but >> No, he figured that one out.
>> Yeah.
I don't know.
>> See, we're back. It's the sunrise.
>> Like, why?
>> Because she killed him.
>> Yeah, but why uh why will >> All right then. The brethren court is a gathering at Shepard Cove. And Jack, you and I are going and there'll be no arguing that point.
>> This pirates are gathering. I'm pointing my ship the other way.
>> The pirates are gathering to fight Becket. And you're a pirate.
>> If we don't stand together, they'll hunt us down one by one. There'll be none left but you.
>> Quite like the sound of that. Captain Jack Sparrow, the last pirate.
>> And you'll be fighting down below.
>> But I will not be going back to the logger.
>> Damn, he's about to blast his ass.
>> Wet out.
There's a freshwater spring on this island.
>> I don't want to go on any more islands.
>> Does Barbosa even care?
>> I don't think so.
>> Jack's the only one who cares.
>> God, he going to be cannibals on this island.
>> Is that an animal? The the Kraken.
Oh, here it pay [ __ ] if you see this cracking slayers.
>> Still thinking of running, Jack? Think you can outrun the world? You know the problem with being the last of anything.
By and by, there'll be none left at all.
>> Sometimes things come back, mate.
>> There's never a guarantee of coming back. Passing on that's dead certain.
World used to be a bigger place. The world's still the same. It's just less in it.
>> Wow. So, Jack really killed the Kraken.
>> Yeah. I thought he just injured it, but >> he's washed up.
>> Poison foul by the body.
>> Hey, I know him.
>> We lost company.
>> Always >> double crossed.
>> He's the captain.
You showing up here is truly a remarkable coincidence.
>> Jack Sparrow, >> you paid me great insult once.
>> Oh, >> you deserve that.
>> Release her. She's not part of the bargain.
>> You heard, Captain Turner?
>> I need the Pearl to free my father.
>> Why didn't you tell me you were planning this?
>> Wow. was my burden to bear.
>> So hypocritical, right?
>> Captain Turner needs the pearl and you felt guilty. Did no one come to save me just because they missed me?
>> I'm sorry, Jack, but there is an old friend who wants to see you first.
>> Uh-oh.
>> Your friends appear to be quite desperate, Jack. Perhaps they no longer believe that a gathering of squabbbling pirates can defeat the Flying Dutchman.
And so despair leads to betrayal.
>> He's just rumaging through his stuff.
>> It's not here, Jack. The heart of Davy Jones is safely aboard the Dutchman.
>> By my reckoning, that account has been settled by your death. And yet here you are.
>> Close your eyes and pretend it's all a bad dream. That's how I get by.
My man, I'm cool enough ship company crew. You agreed the black power was to be mine.
>> And so it was you can't Oh, you can't trust anybody >> ever.
>> One which requires absolutely nothing from you but information >> regarding the brethren court. No doubt.
In exchange for fair compensation.
>> Square my debt with Jones. Guarantee my freedom.
>> Of course. Where are they meeting?
Who are the pirate lords? What is the purpose of the nine pieces of aid?
>> Man, don't tell them anything. Jack, >> the platau was to be mine. Lord Beck is not going to give what people shippers can hold on the Dutchman. Is he >> like quadruple crossing?
>> Yeah. Sh. And they're not bound to honor the co brethren, isn't it?
>> They have the Dutchman, not of her. And what do the brethren have? Calypso, >> the goddess.
>> Man, don't laugh it off. An old legend.
The goddess herself, bound in human form. I intend to release her, but for that I need brethren cords.
All the cords.
>> So, she's the human form of Calypso.
That's pretty cool.
>> But nobody else knows that, I don't think, >> except us, the audience. And what becomes of Miss Swan? What interest is she to you?
>> What are you provosing, Captain? The girl.
>> What?
>> I've got this wonderful compass which points to whatever I want. So for what do I need? You points to the thing you want most. And that is not the brother in court, is it? Then what is Jack? Me dead.
>> Done.
>> What? Although if I kill you, then I can use the comforts to find shipwreck cove.
Is it on my own?
>> Elizabeth, they are pirates.
>> I have had more than enough experience dealing with pirates.
>> With me killed, you'd arrive at the cove, find its stronghold, nigh impregnable, and then you'd be wishing, "Oh, if only there was someone I had not killed inside to ensure that the pirates then come outside." And you can accomplish all this, can you? Who am I?
>> Oh, you better say it.
>> And Kevin Jack Sparrow.
>> Make him say it.
>> Don't mole out like that.
Oh, >> that guy's just chilling walking through this.
You're mad. Thank goodness for that because if I wasn't, this would probably never work.
>> He just shot himself over there.
>> And that was without even a single drop of rum.
>> But he did drink something.
>> That was like uh grape juice.
Send this pestilent traitorous cowhearted yeasty codpiece to the break.
Signal the Dutchman to track down South Fang. We follow the pearl. How soon can we have the ship ready to pursue?
>> You think he plans it all out? Just makes it up as he goes along.
>> Makes it up.
>> He gets lucky, too.
>> He just takes risks.
>> Yeah, he's a risk taker.
>> Yeah.
>> With absolutely nothing to lose.
This is like big trouble in Little China.
>> By this time tomorrow, we will arrive at Shipwreck Cove and you will be free.
Calypso.
>> Oh, excuse me.
>> Oh, he thinks it's her.
>> He's like, you must be. You're a goddess. You confirm it.
>> Confirm what?
The first brethren court whose decision I would have a post they bound you to human form so the rule of the seas would belong to man and not >> to me pretty speech from a captor.
>> He's a real white knight isn't he?
>> Through prison bars lose their charm.
>> But if he thinks she's a goddess I understand why he's doing it.
>> I offer simply my desire >> and in return >> I would have your gifts should you choose to get them. And if I should choose not, >> I will take your fury.
>> No thanks.
>> I feel like he misread that.
>> Yeah.
>> Saved by the cannons.
>> Here, please.
Oh, >> I didn't want him to die.
>> Me either.
>> With all nine kisses of hate, you will be free. You are captain now. Go my place to shipwreck cove.
>> I'd be like, "Please put that in writing and sign it. No one's going to believe me."
>> Right.
>> Forgive me, Calypso.
>> She doesn't even know the Calypso tale.
She's like, "What the hell?" All right.
What did he tell you?
>> He made me captain.
>> That guy looks like the guy. Look, I don't know. Remember when we watched Tropic Thunder and the guy who's like, "My name is Flaming Dragon." Yeah, >> I feel like that's him. Is that not him?
>> He looks familiar. I just can't really know. I don't know why >> I think it's I thought it was Marvel somewhere. But >> you are not my captain.
>> Elizabeth #notmy captain.
Your father will be overjoyed to know you're safe.
>> MY FATHER'S DEAD.
>> WHO AMONG you do you name as captain?
>> Captain?
>> She's captain now.
>> Captain.
>> Tow the ship. The captain shall have my quarters.
>> Thank you, sir. But I prefer to remain with my crew.
>> Elizabeth, I swear I did not know.
>> Know what? Which side you chose?
>> Man, go take that uniform off. join the pirate way over here.
>> Well, no, you do.
>> You're like pirate for life, baby.
>> That's why she broke up with your stupid ass.
>> She didn't really want to be with him.
That was like, you know, >> political marriage.

>> Oh, he's getting so much worse.
>> That's so sad.
>> Yes, I know your son, WILL TURNER.
HE MADE IT. HE'S ALIVE. And now he sends you to tell me that he's coming to get me.
>> A >> This Quill is alive. And he wants to help you.
>> You can't help me. I know you. He spoke of you. He can't come because of you.
>> You're Elizabeth.
>> Yeah, he loves you, girl.
>> Yes, I'm Elizabeth.
>> No, I'm Calypso, actually. Shh.
>> Jones be slain. He who slays him must take his place.
>> A Dutch man must always have a captain.
And if he saves me, he loses you.
>> A >> I wouldn't pick me, >> man. That's heartbreaking.
>> I know.
>> Tell him not to come.
>> I'd pick you, Pops.
>> Tell him it's too late. I'm already a part of the [ __ ] >> That's so crazy.
You know my name.
>> He's like 10second Tom.
>> Yeah.
>> William.
>> A.
>> He's coming for me.
Wait and see.
>> Oh my gosh. That's so heartbreaking.
That's like his dying hope.
>> Damn. Right on the ship like that.
>> I know. Calm down.
>> A breadcrumb trail and we're meant to follow. A just course, left tenant. We can only hope to reach our destination before they run out of bodies.
>> Evil.
>> Well, they're already dead. So, what do you do?
>> You escaped the brick even quicker than I expected. Do you notice anything? You notice something that is not there to be noted?
>> Come up with this all by your lonesome, did you? I said to myself, "Think like Jack."
>> This is what you've arrived at.
>> How does your dearly beloved feel about this plan?
>> She doesn't know, bro. And you're not going to tell her. I'm >> losing her, Jack. Every step I make for my father is a step away from Elizabeth.
>> Mate, if you choose to lock your heart away, you'll lose it for certain. Avoid the choice altogether. Let someone else dispatch Jones.
>> Who?
>> You. Why do you want that ship?
>> I slip aboard the Dutchman. Find the heart. Stab the beating thing. Your father goes free from his dead. You're free to be with your charming murderers.
>> I'm free forever. Free to sail the seas beyond the edges of the map. Free from death itself. You have the very souls to the next.
>> That part would suck.
>> Or end up just like Jones.
>> All of them have a face for tentacles.
>> Then you better do your job.
>> What's this for? Think like me won't come to you.
>> That man's got choro form for breath.
>> My regards to David Jones.
>> I hate him. He's ridiculous. Come with me.
>> Quickly.
>> You think you might win her back?
>> What are you doing?
>> No. choosing a side.
>> I think he's just a pirate. He's singing the yoho pirate life for me song in his head.
>> He said, "Bump this stiff uniform."
>> Yeah.
>> Itchy po. The colors high. Every time I'm looking on YouTube, guys, I see a video of some ship out in the middle of the ocean and that song's playing on it.
Y'all seen that video?
>> It's too late to earn my forgiveness.
>> I had nothing to do with your father's death.
Come with us.
>> Who goes there?
>> Don't hurt him.
>> I will follow.
>> You're lying.
>> Our destinies have been entwined, Elizabeth. But never joined.
>> What?
>> If he's about to sacrifice himself, just let him get his kiss.
>> But why is he sacrificing himself to Will's dad?
>> Cuz man, he's got guilt.
>> No one leaves the [ __ ] Stand down. Part of the crew, part of the ship.

HOLDS PRISONERS.
Delay that.
>> Oh god.
Oh.
>> Oh no.
>> I didn't think that would happen. I >> When we first met when we met him, I never would have pictured William Turner's dad stabbing him.
>> I know.
>> On the Flying Dutchman. I know.
>> James, do you fear undead?
>> Tough ass move though. Too bad I didn't do anything.
>> I take that as a no.
>> Well, he tried.
A good character.
>> I hope they cut that sack open on the back of his head. The Dutchman is under my command.
>> Yeah, you pickle willies.
>> LOOK ALIVE AND KEEP A WEATHER EYE. NOT FOR IT'S CALLED SHIPWRECK Island where like Shipwreck Cove and the town of Shipwreck.
>> You know, for all the pirates are clever cogs, we are an unimaginative lot when it comes to naming things.
>> Fine.
>> Agreed.
>> I once sailed with a gizer, lost both of his arms, part of his eye.
>> What' you call him?
>> Larry.
I do not renegot once struck, but we agreed on ends only. The means for my society.
Caution. Do not forget it was by my power you returned from the dead or what it mean. If you feel me.
>> Oh, don't you forget why you had to bring me back. It took nine pirate lords to find you, Calypso. And it'll take no less than nine to set you free. Take this fish wife, Mr. Brink.
>> Not a fish wife.
>> Right this way, Mrs. Fish.
>> I cannot be summoned like some mongrel pup.
>> Apparently, you can.
>> That's exactly what I was going to say.
>> You're in here.
>> Jack Sparrow sends his regards.
>> What else have you not told me?
>> I believe you're familiar with a person called Calypso.
>> A heathen god. One who delights in cursing men with their wildest dreams and then revealing them to be hollow and not but ash.
>> The brethren court intends to release her.
>> No, they cannot. The first court promised to imprison her forever. That was our agreement. I showed them how to bind her. She could not be trusted. She gave me no choice.
>> I thought they were in love.
>> You loved her and then you betrayed her.
>> She pretended to love me. She betrayed me.
>> And after which betrayal did you cut out your heart, I wonder?
>> Oh, >> you will free my father and you will guarantee Elizabeth safety. We will expect fair value in return. Calypso murd.
>> Calypso is aboard the black pearl.
>> I want to know more about their like history.
>> I know. Show us a montage.
>> How do you propose to lead us there?
What is it you want most?
>> I like how they shake the camera like they're on a boat and have boat noises so you don't have to even be on a boat but feel like you're on a boat.
>> All that creaking and stuff.
>> Yeah.
>> We could do that on our intro and fool everybody.
>> We What's up guys?
>> Well, there's not been a Gas like this in our lifetime. I owe them all money.
He's getting slapped.
>> I convene this the fourth brethren court.
>> Present now your pieces of age.
>> Wa, they all look so different.
>> They're just pieces of junk. I The original plan was to use nine pieces of eight to bind Calypso, but when the first court met, the brethren was to a want skint broke. So change the name.
What? To nine pieces of whatever we happen to have in our pockets at the time.
>> It reminds me of Inception. But now I need it back.
>> No, >> that song.
>> Yeah. What's yours, Sparrow?
>> Oh, yeah.
>> Might I point out that we are still short one pirate lord?
>> Sang is dead.
>> Oh, yes.
>> He fell TO THE FLYING DUTCHMAN.
>> Made you, Captain. Just giving the bloody title away.
>> Jones is under the command of Lord Becket. They're on their way here.
>> Who is this betrayal?
>> Not likely anyone among us.
>> Where's Will?
>> Not among us.
>> Bingo.
>> We fight.
>> Core is a fortress. There is no need to fight if they cannot get us. The first brethren court captured the sea goddess.
That was a mistake. Better were the days when mastery of seas came not from bargains struck with eldrich creatures, but from the sweat of a man's brow and the strength of his back alone.
>> Tell it like it is. Barbosa, >> we must free Calypso.
>> I mean, it's risky, but I kind of like the idea.
>> Shoot him an out of his tongue, then shoot his tongue. You shouldn't let it be.
WE RELEASED GALIMO. MOMMY, >> I SILENCE YOU.
>> Some piracy broke out. So, what do you like? Do you like the idea? I mean, because Becket ain't worth a damn. We can get all of them off the sea.
>> Yeah, true.
>> I mean, the Kraken's dead, so we need something.
>> This is politics.
>> Meanwhile, our enemies are bearing down upon us.
>> It seems like a fire would break out really easily.
>> I know.
You come for me.
>> You were expecting me.
>> It has been torture, dropped in this, cut off from the sea from all that I love.
>> 10 years I devoted to the duty you charged me. And finally, when we could be together again, you weren't there.
H >> is my nature.
>> Ooh.
>> Would you love me if I was anything but what I am?
>> That was a painful answer.
>> I don't love you.
>> I feel like you do.
>> You have corrupted your purpose and you did hide away what should always have been mine.
>> A I was wondering if we would ever see that. He looks so normal. Maybe even a little nice. Maybe. Feels like he'd get mad at us if it was an older movie and we didn't understand the reference.
>> Exactly.
>> I will be free and when I am, I will give you my heart and we would be together always. If only you had a heart to give.
Oh, not stuck. At least you have some lunch.
>> What fate have you planned for your captain?
>> The last thing they will learn in this life is how cruel I can be.
>> Yeah, she scares me, man. Cuz I really have no idea her nature.
>> Right.
>> My heart will always belong to you.
>> He's like Blake Shelton if this is all.
>> That's so sad.
The first call will imprison Calypso put that together without you. She will see fit to grant us boons.
>> Whose bones?
>> If you have a better alternative, cuttlefish.
>> We could hold up here well provisioned and wellarmed and half of us will be dead within the month. Or we can release Calypso and we can pray that she will be merciful.
>> Uh-oh.
Can we in fact pretend that she is anything other than a woman scorned like rich fury hell hath no? We cannot >> I agree with and I cannot believe the words are coming out of me mouth.
>> Captain Swan, >> you've always run away from a fight.
>> Have not.
>> You have. So >> have not.
>> You have so.
>> He's had some good scraps.
>> Yeah.
>> We must fight to run away. Hi.
>> That guy is always on his side. Gibbs.
>> He's just a hype man.
>> An act of war can only be declared by the pirate king.
>> You made that up. I call on Captain Teague, keeper of the code.
>> Hang the cord. Who the >> Oh.
>> Oh, I guess that's him.
>> Code is the law.
>> He looks like Hook from uh >> Yeah.
>> Well, from Hook.
>> Dustin Hoffman. He looks like Jack boy the code that's my morgan and follow me.
>> Yeah cuz Jack looked disturbed when they mentioned his name.
That's awesome.
The dog >> sea turtles mate.
>> Are we ever going to see that? The sea turtle. Um >> what if it's like real?
It shall be the duties of the king to declare war.
>> There's not been a king since the first court and that's not likely to change.
>> Why not?
>> See, the pirate king is elected by popular vote and each pirate only ever votes for himself.
>> That makes sense.
>> I'll call for a vote.
>> We'll just make a rule you can't vote for yourself.
>> I vote for >> Sisumbi votes for Cisumbagi.
>> Elizabeth Swan Barbosa. Elizabeth Swan.
>> So she wins.
>> Am I to understand that you will not be keeping to the code then?
>> Oh, he didn't like that.
>> Oh, >> say you, Captain Swan, King of the Brethren Court.
>> Prepare every vessel that floats. We're at war.
>> I'm starting to think this is a child stories book for Elizabeth. at the end.
>> We shall go to war.
>> That voice, >> that'd be an incredible twist, right?
It's all just royal stories for a little girl.
>> Yeah, because she's like king now.
>> Yeah.
>> You've seen it all, done it all. You survived.
>> It's the trick in it. It's not just about living forever, Jackie. The trick is living with yourself forever. He's giving me uncle vibes.
>> That's mom.
>> She looks great.
>> That's your mom?
>> Okay. So, is that his dad then?
>> But why does his mom have a shrunken head?
>> To preserve her, baby. She's always with him now.
>> THE ENEMY IS HERE. LET'S TAKE HER.
>> OH, they were feeling so brave, weren't they?
That fog humbled them.
>> Uh-uh. Man, look at Elizabeth, not him.
What if you paddled to that island waiting on the other party to paddle there, but they just didn't get the memo and they just was like and you were just sitting there out in the sun? At >> least you get tan.
He has to be kept like an ang that led these wolves to our door.
>> Don't blame Turner. He was merely the tool of your betrayal. If you wish to see its grand architect, look to your left.
>> I understand the burden you bear, but I fear that cause is lost. No cause is lost if there was but one fool left to fight for it.
>> You made a deal with me, Jack, to deliver the pirates. And here they are.
>> He ain't lying.
>> Your debt to me is still to be satisfied. 100 years in servitude aboard the Dutchman as I push you out that bucket.
>> Will leaves with us and you can take Jack >> the monkey?
>> Jack's one of the nine pirate lords. You have no right.
>> Your names.
>> I'm ready for them to be friends again.
>> Do you fear death?
>> You have no idea.
>> You can fight and all of you will die or you cannot fight. In which case only most of you will die.
>> We will fight and you will die. She could have killed him right here. Like, who's going to stop her? Davy Jones is trapped in a bucket.
>> I know.
>> Kate >> of the Brethren Court, courtesy of Jack.
>> Maybe he really does know what he's doing.
>> Does that mean Orlando Bloom is queen?
>> Bravo. You've successfully arrived aboard the Flying Dutchman as per the overall scheme.
Stand the heart.
Oh, live forever as captain of the flying dutman.
If you're in the plague, who's the hard peanut?
>> Why has he got peanut in his hair?
>> Maybe that's where that peanut came from in the locker. He had one jammed in his head. He's probably got a few in there.
>> Too long, the fate has not been in my own hands.
No longer >> ready the fleet >> TO YOUR STATION.
>> The NPCs.
>> The items brought together. Done. And someone must speak the words Calypso. I release you from your human bonds. To said it must be spoken as if to a lover.
>> Wait, did they negotiate with her first?
I'd be like, girl, what are you going to do? Calypso, I release you from your human bond.
>> That's how he would say it.
>> No, no, you didn't say it right.
>> No, no, no, no. I >> release you from your human bonds.
>> Oh my god.
>> Oh lord. What is going to happen? When the brother in court first imprisoned you, who was it that told them how? I >> near him.
>> Davy Jones.
>> She's growing.
>> This is it.
>> Is she changing form or is she just getting bigger?
>> Maybe she's more dangerous than the Kraken.
Oh, she's going to sink that boat. You got to get OFF THE BOAT.
WHEN DID SHE STOP?
>> I come before you as but a servant. I have fulfilled me vow. I now ask your favor. Spare yourself, me ship, me crew, but unleash your fury upon those who dare pretend themselves your masters or mine.
>> Ooh.
>> What if she just takes out the ships?
>> Oh, you're about to piss her off. This is scary actually.
>> It's like the exorcist. Oh, what just happened? Whoa.
>> What is that?
>> I thought it was crabs.
>> What is that? Crab mugged.
>> Yeah, you just got crab mogged.
>> It wouldn't be bad if he was trying to sell some crab, though.
>> Mhm.
Why? She's no help at all.
>> Our final hope has failed us.
>> Yeah, they asked her for help and she got all crabby about it.
>> Literally. Yep.
>> And then she went over the edge and crashed out.
>> The brethren will still be looking here TOWARDS THE BLACK PEARL TO LEAD. AND WHAT WILL THEY SEE? Frightened build rats board a derelict ship? No. No. THEY WILL SEE FREE MEN. THEY WILL HEAR THE RING OF OUR SWORDS. AND THEY WILL KNOW what we can do.
>> It's laking >> by the sweat of our brows and the strength of our backs AND THE COURAGE OF OUR HEARTS.
GENTLEMEN, voice the colors.
>> That was kind of tough though. Let's go.
>> The wind's on our side, BOYS. THAT'S ALL WE NEED.
>> He's like red band.
>> I mean, I feel hype. Let's go. I'm ready for war.
>> The colors. I would have never even known that term.
>> Well, you know that song, remember? H the colors.
>> Yeah, but for some reason, I I wouldn't have referenced it.
>> Basically, when we're about to run into Walmart to go pick up some milk, I'm like, "Baby, hoist the colors." And then we're going to run in.
>> That's the default pirate flag.
>> CHEW UP. WE GIVE NO WATER.
HEY, what's this storm brewing?
Dang, what is she doing?
Oh, she's going to make like a hurricane probably. We're about to battle in a hurricane.
>> Well, they asked her to like help them out. Like, spare them.
>> I guess her turn into a crab was a Yes.
>> Have you noticed ON TOP OF EVERYTHING, IT'S RAINING?
>> THAT'S A BAD SIGN. Land the captain.
Ready to wait.
>> Oh man, it's opening up like a whirlpool.
>> Mhm.
>> CUT HIM UP. WE NEED YOU IN THE HELP.
>> Let's go.
>> He's in his element.
>> Hell yeah. It's like when you're watching Survivor and the old guy wants to start the fire, but he just he doesn't want to get voted out.
>> You reminded me of Lieutenant Dan for some reason.
>> Yeah.
>> Pull boring into THE MAD.
You're f to get wet.
>> Oh, hell no.
>> MY SPEED.
>> OH, this is tough.
>> I know.
Canons, >> take us out over us.
Further in prepare.
>> I like when they do the ram. That's my favorite part about like ship fights >> when they ram into each other.
>> Yeah.
I feel like no one wins that exchange though >> cuz there'd be so much structural damage to your ship if you ran into another one.
>> But they like make the holes like really strong so you can do it.
>> That's another robot barrel hinges le.
>> Thank you, Will. Turn.
>> Wish us luck, boys. We'll need it.
>> I miss him already. He is quite charming, isn't he?
Oh, that's a cool sight.
>> Mhm.
>> Oh, come on.
Fire.
>> I wish it had like health bars above them.
Me too. They to the car now, baby.
That's a cool guy. He's getting cannonballled. Still shouting things like that.
>> Admirable though it may be, why are you here when you could be elsewhere?
>> Just like the first movie.
>> There has been a breakdown in military discipline aboard this vessel. I blame the fish people by dent of being fish people. Automatically aren't as disciplined as non-fish people. Seems contributo is all I'm suggesting.
>> There'd be no need to guard the chest.
And if there were no chest, we wouldn't need to be here to guard it. Who in the hell left them in charge?
>> It's a good thing they're around, though.
>> That's violating.
>> Oh. Oh.
OH, that was horrific.
I think if I was a kid, I would have nightmares about that.
>> A lost love, a lost [ __ ] to fly.
>> Never too late to learn, eh?
>> Literally.
>> The grip on those shoes are incredible, though. Mhm.
>> Oh, y'all are crazy.
>> Elizabeth, were you married?
>> Oh, I wasn't expecting that.
>> Me either.
>> Just say yes.
>> Well, maybe.
>> The only time.
>> Maybe they think they're about to die.
>> I love you.
>> I've made my choice. WHAT'S YOURS?
OH YEAH, Jack said they can now.
>> Find it.
Oh dear.
>> This is so good. God, this is so good.
>> Do you pretend to be your husband?
I thought she was happy.
>> We'll turn if you take me to be your wife IN SICKNESS AND IN HEALTHY >> the most kills at a wedding in a movie.
>> I dare I give you kiss.
kiss.
>> I thought he was going to save the pirate.
>> That have been good, too.
>> Dum nums.
>> YOU CAN DO NOTHING WITHOUT A KEY.
>> I already have the key.
>> No, you don't. Oh, that key.
Oh, >> that was the key one.
>> You'd have to fight him with some crab crackers.
>> I know.
>> Oh, good job, COTTON.
WOW.
OH >> BOY.
That guy probably just got his head back.
>> That was a good shot.
>> I know.
Jack's on fire. Poor little monkey.
>> Oh, >> hey, that's your son. He doesn't even realize it.
>> Oh, cuz he's so lost.
>> Yeah, >> it's me. It's Will, your son.
This is intense.
>> A making of this movie will be good.
>> Yeah, it would be. Did you see that scream he just did?
GO.
>> UH-OH.
>> YOU'LL SEE NO MERCY FROM ME.
>> THAT'S WHY I BROUGHT THIS.
>> HEY, she's ready. She's come a long way.
>> Oh, the key.
>> I'm not going to kill you. I made you a promise.
Did you forget I'm a heartless red.
>> Oh, >> damn. My boy can fight.
I didn't realize he was so flexible.
>> Do you feel dead?
>> Do you Edonic holding life and death in the palm of one's hand.
>> Come on, don't talk, Jack. Do it.
>> But that means someone has to replace him.
>> Uh-uh.
>> Oh, >> no. No.
>> What?
No, >> man. He just got married, too.
>> Stay with me. You all right?
>> Dang. Too bad I know he's on the cover of the next movie.
>> Oh, you knew that?
>> You didn't know that?
>> I think he is. Is he?
>> He could be dead. You don't know how these movies are.
>> He could be like a dead soul.
>> Will, look at me. LOOK AT ME.
>> Come on.
Stole my judgment.
Oh, >> got you.
>> Does it count because Jack made him do it?
>> Oh, THE LOCKER RESOLVED.
>> Will was already dead when he stabbed the heart. You see what I'm saying? He looked dead.
>> I don't know. I thought cuz Will died maybe he would have to take over the ship. I don't know. Yeah, that makes sense.
Oh, he's still good.
>> Oh my gosh.
>> They're about to carve his heart out.
>> Oh, it's about to be him. I didn't expect it to be him. Hold on.
>> Oh no.
But he cannot turn into a squid if he just guides the souls.
I guess he better do a good job.
Dang, man. Well, I like the Flying Dutchman. That was a cool ship, guys.
I'm going to miss it. Maybe we'll see it again.
>> The Armada is still out there. The Endeavor's coming up HARD TO STARBOARD.
CLOSE ALL OUT. LOCK THE SAILS AND LAY AN IRON.
>> He expects us to honor our agreement.
>> Dirty bastards.
>> It's nothing personal, Jack.
>> It's just good business.
>> That's like the common theme of most movies I've been watching.
>> It's not personal. I feel like if Calypso didn't get flushed down that damn drain, it'd be a good time for her to show up. Oh, I thought that was her.
Hey, let's go. Is it about to be Will?
>> That's going to be so sad about life, dude. That d that guy's life was awful.
>> Will's?
>> Yes.
>> I mean, it's the life of a pirate. Maybe he's a pirate.
>> But yeah, it was bad, wasn't it?
>> I mean, he just got married and like, he can't even enjoy that.
>> Let's go. A factory reset. A >> let's go.
>> But doesn't that mean he can only come to shore every 10 years?
>> Yeah.
>> Yes, it does.
>> Stop. That's so sad.
>> You just got to make it count.
>> That's a lot of pressure on a man, though.
>> Like, imagine you waited 10 years on me.
I'd perform.
>> You think they're going to team up and blow it to smitherines >> already? Blow it up.
>> Fire. Fire.
>> Yes.
>> Frozen.
>> Hey, live by the cannon. Die by the cannon.
He was a good character though.
>> No, he really was. He's just goodness.
>> Oh, he's going to stay on there cuz he's the captain, right? You got to go down with the ship.
>> Sorry, puppets.
>> Hey, love him or hate him.
He was a little guy, but he sure does have some big nuts.
>> He's standing in there, ain't he?
>> Yeah, >> he ain't no [ __ ] That's for sure.
>> And he wasn't afraid of Davy Jones.
>> He commanded him, actually.
Insane.
>> Damn, that was crazy. Actually, that whole shot was insane, guys.
>> Wow.
Do you think those ships are like, "What do we do now?"
>> W >> W's in the chat. W's in the chat.
>> They're like the Lost Boys. Bingerang.
>> Rufyo. Rufyo.
Mr. Gibbs. Captain, >> you may throw my hat if you like. Hi, Captain.
>> I go and get it.
>> Order, sir.
You're no longer bound to the Dutchman.
By my reckoning, I still have a debt that has to be paid if you'll have me.
>> That's a good moment.
>> On the wheel then, Mr. Turner.
>> A Captain Ter.
>> Sad, but sweet.
>> This ship has a purpose again. And where we are bound, she cannot come. One day, sure. 10 years and see. M >> your chariot awaits your heights.
>> Mrs. Turner, >> if I was going to captain the Flying Dutchman, I'd want to be single.
>> It just make it so much simpler, right?
>> Jack, that would never have worked out between us.
>> Keep telling yourself that, darling.
>> Are you still king, though?
>> Once is quite enough.
>> Thank you.
I'm going to need the other one.
>> Well, they did just get married.
>> He's bootstrap. Will >> I hope y'all brought a towel to lay on >> sunset?
>> That's about to be Sandy.
>> So, that was his day. A >> It's always belonged to you.
>> Stop. Will you keep it safe?
>> Yes.
>> Can he leave messaging bottles? Okay, then maybe it won't be so bad.
>> I mean, I feel like he could just come stand right there at the uh shore. She could just stand on the beach.
>> They like yell.
>> No, she could come out in the water, but I guess he's got work to do, so that's not going to work.
>> It's like a lot of work.
>> Mhm.
>> Keep a weather eye on the horizon.
>> Yeah. for a decade.
>> Sorry guys, I'm just coping right now.
I'm just trying to figure out how to make this work.
>> This is making me unnecessarily stressed out.
>> I know.
>> That's like super long distance.
>> You will not be disappointed.
>> Is that it? A black pearl?
>> It's not big.
>> Love, that is a dingy. My vessel is magnificent and hugeish and gone.
>> Is that it? There.
>> Yes, there it is. Why is it there?
>> Barbosa done took it.
>> Wait, Mr. Gibbs, any particular reason why my ship is gone?
>> We're on the ship.
>> Jack, the ship's gone.
>> Really?
>> I lied to you. No, I don't love you. Of course, it makes you look fat. And all of this pales to utter insignificance in light of the fact that my ship is once again gone. Savvy.
Take what you can. Give nothing back.
>> Gibbs deserve that 100%.
>> Oh, you're a good boy. You're daddy's boy. Oh, yes.
>> Sir, some of the men don't feel entirely settled about leaving Captain Jack behind. It would make us feel a whole lot better regarding our fortunes if we could see that item you told us about. A feast your eyes upon this mateies.
There's more than one way to live forever. I give you the fountain of youth.
>> Oh, let's go.
>> I'm assuming Jack took it.
>> Sparrow.
>> That's the fourth movie.
>> I hope so. That sounds fun.
So stupid.
>> That was the best part of the damn movie.
It pointed to his room. So stupid.
>> Oh my god, this movie was a trip, guys.
>> I know. Anything with Jack Sparrow in it is hilarious. He's hilarious.
>> Wow.
>> Yeah. Thank you, Disney Plus, for not screwing us over completely >> with what?
>> Just not letting us watch the end screen.
>> Yeah. Bouncing us too early.
>> Speak of the damn Guys, did y'all see that? That's so annoying.
>> It gets us yelled at for no reason. It just said Hoist the Colors is by Han Zimmer. That's why it's good.
>> Mhm.
>> Makes sense.
>> I didn't even know that.
>> Like from a >> 10 years later. Michael, >> they have a kid.
>> Yo ho.
>> Hey, Will was one for one, boys. He don't miss.
I mean, maybe.
>> Maybe they'll have another one 10 years apart. Wouldn't that be crazy?
>> Oh, he didn't come.
>> Oh, here he comes.
A that was a really good movie. I thought the best part of the movie was in the end when Jack was, you know, reaching for his compass. You know, the the thing that made it so funny, guys, it was so subtly funny because Jack is sitting there, he's looking at his compass and he almost forgets like he he's kind of confused why his compass isn't pointing where it needs to go. And then he he it's like he remembers like, "Oh my god, I'm an alcoholic and I really need to drink this." And then as soon as he drinks that, it's almost like he forgot or something. Anyways, that was just really clever to me. I thought that was >> like it set him back to like homeostasis when he got the wrong >> and it's not like they didn't use that joke throughout the series so far, but it was just so well placaced. It was just so funny. I almost forgot about it and it just it just caught me off guard.
Really good movie. Really good movie.
Babe, what do you think about Davy Jones now that he's gone? I thought he was a great villain because he was ruthless and also I just liked how I liked the way he talked.
>> I don't know. I just I thought it was so funny. It was an original way for a villain to talk. I've never heard like a villain be so hilarious sounding but also be scary at the same time.
>> He played the part very well.
>> Yes.
>> Yeah. The way he talked was um pretty extraordinary. Uh the dialect would be really hard to replicate. Like if I was going to sit here and try to do it, I'd have to like literally hear a line that he said. I thought Dustin Hoffman and Hook, he also did fantastic at like playing the villain pirate and it reminded me of that in a way.
>> Mhm.
>> But I mean, you can't really compare the two. But yeah, I would say Davy Jones was a really good villain. I liked him.
>> I think the CGI, I think the special effects, all that stuff was really good.
Oh, yeah. It's phenomenal in these movies so far, but um I'm kind of glad they didn't change too much. Like I felt like uh >> there was more realism than than like a bunch of squids and stuff.
>> Well, I'm just saying like the movie didn't try to overeolve. Like it still looks good at this point and like I know the ability to make these movies, you know, more packed with CGI and stuff becomes easier and easier as time goes on. So, I'm glad that the movie still incorporates so much like, >> you know, realistic backdrops and stuff.
>> That was probably cutting edge for the time.
>> Yeah.
>> And like I think it was 2007, was it?
Yeah. Oh, it was probably really neat to see that honestly >> cuz like I don't even know. Was every single ship just a prop set? Was there any real ships destroyed in this movie?
Like it's just really hard to tell because it looks so good. It was just it really sold me on how realistic it looked. But overall, I thought the story was really good, too. So, this movie essentially ended Captain uh or Davy Jones and we got to see Davy Jones locker, which was kind of weird. It was kind of like the back rooms, >> but like I was saying in the movie, I kind of thought it was just going to be a desert that stretched forever. But it turns out just beyond the mountainscape, there ends up >> being an ocean, which you know, gives us a way out. But that'd be crazy if he got dropped off there and you didn't have a ship.
>> You know what I was thinking about in that moment when Jack was doing that and you know those crabs took him? Was that like Calypso showing him to the sea?
>> Yeah, Calypso is like helping him out, I think.
>> Yeah, because he would have just been standing there doing that nonsense cuz he's Jack.
>> Maybe that's what happened. I mean, that's the only thing I can interpret because she turned into crabs. Yeah. One time we were in Caribel, Florida, and there's these tiny little sand crabs that run around, and I had a whole bucket that had a little top on it, guys. And me and my cousin filled the whole bucket up, and I walked behind my sister, and I dumped them on her head, and she like freaked out, but she freaked out like in a like disturbingly way. Like, you would think that I I like tried to murder her or something. It was like a really freaked out.
>> They were just little sand crabs.
>> Yeah, but I don't like when like things that come pinch me get on me.
>> They were all in her hair. She started running around like she was on fire. It was like it was nuts. I was like, "Stop, dropping, and roll." Like I felt bad. I felt bad after I done it.
>> Oh my god.
>> I don't think I got in trouble, though.
I think she was just being like way too dramatic.
>> I think it was more of like a eye opening experience for my parents on how she responds to trauma. So, I ended up doing a good a good thing. But, um, that's neither here nor there. That just reminded me of that in the reaction.
>> Um, I think it's kind of heartbreaking.
It's uh I'm trying to make a pun. Will Turn. No, Will Turner's situation is the most heartbreaking. Like >> that's heart stealing.
>> Heart cutting out. That's a That just cuts my heart out.
>> Yeah, it really does. Like his whole story line was sad. Like you know his he was washed up as a pirate. She steals the only thing he has, which is his medallion. So then he don't even know anything about his medallion life. And then he finds out his dad's like cursed on a ship >> and he's been on that ship his whole life, but he didn't know.
>> Yeah. And so then so then he finally like meets the love of his of his life.
She like gets engaged to another dude and then they get married finally like after a long time. But like that's after like she's had to like dangle Jack Sparrow in front of his face and all.
Dang. I'm just talking about all the bad things that happened to Will.
>> He's just got a really tragic life.
>> Like like he doesn't take a lot of W's except for his son now, which is a good thing.
>> But you can make the argument his whole entire life is a W because I mean what's the alternative? to continue to just be a blacksmith forever sitting in that barn with no sunlight.
>> Yeah.
>> You know what I mean? I mean, in a way, I understand being the captain of uh that ship would be really harrowing and it would be really scary and it'd be a huge sacrifice. But isn't that what you want out of life sometimes?
>> That's what I was thinking about him and Elizabeth story line. Like they choose a life of adventure rather than like what they really should be doing, which is Elizabeth should be like kind of royalty in a way regard the governor.
>> And you know what makes it so romantic in the movies? the fact that they can go about their day and they can make it through three whole movies and I haven't had to see them one time like do some labor to earn some food, right?
>> Because in real life I'd be starving.
Yeah.
>> Like I wish life could just be a big adventure like this, but you got to eat you got to you got to get them calories in. You know what I'm saying?
>> Is it true that pirates made key lime pie?
>> They probably >> invented it. I heard that's a thing. But cuz like you know key West Florida.
>> Do you think the pirates were on there like like bacon and stuff like >> No, they had to like they only had like limited resources so they had to like just make mix up some stuff and then they like came up with key lime pie or something.
>> I never really thought about it what pirates would eat. Maybe fish, but I've never really seen >> a whole video on it.
>> I've never really seen pirates fishing.
Like I've seen them like rob the fish market but I've never seen them actually fishing.
>> Well, you need to play some Black Flag cuz you whale harpoon on that thing. I can't do it. If I try to play video games like that, after like 10 minutes, my brain feels mushy. I feel kind of mushy anytime I watch a movie. I actually felt kind of mushy watching this movie, actually. But um >> but yeah, that game looks really cool, though. It the Assassin's Creed game.
You've shown it to me before. I like that one and the one with the pyramids.
What's that one called?
>> Origins.
>> Yeah, Origins.
>> But Origins is already tasting Egypt.
>> If you would have played Odyssey, you would have really liked that. Odyssey has a good story.
>> I just think they look cool, that's all.
>> Yeah.
>> Yeah. Um, and then obviously we don't even got to talk about how sad it is that Mrs. Swan's dad got executed by the state.
>> Yeah.
>> Really? Like I'm not going to say for no reason, but >> it's crazy. He's the High Sparrow though because remember how much we hated the High Sparrow in Game of Thrones.
>> Yeah.
>> And then he comes here and you actually kind of like >> the guy hate the High Sparrow in Game of Thrones. I didn't exactly hate him. I just actually I I kind of thought his character was a little exaggerated in the in the show.
>> Well, he just he when they did the reigns of Castamir, I just didn't really like him.
>> Yeah. He wasn't my favorite guy. I felt like what the show was trying to do was like show that he's like a necessary evil.
>> Yeah.
>> Because like, you know, you can't give the state, you know, full power, especially in that setting.
>> But the reigns of Casemir. It wasn't the reign of Casemir. It was uh >> the winds of winter that episode. There you go. Sorry.
>> Yeah. The reason we know the episode name, guys, is cuz we had to make the thumbnails. That's why.
>> Yeah. The reigns of Kmir is the Red Wedding, I think. Yeah.
>> Yeah. Guys, I'm really excited to see the next one. I'm assuming we're going after the Fountain of Youth because Jack made off by cutting out, you know, half of the map. He should have just took the whole map at that point, but I guess he needed like >> space like he needed to tuck it away.
>> Well, he needed Barbosa to not realize.
>> Yeah, that too.
>> But it's almost like he hedged his bet because Jack's no dummy. He knew that Barbosa was going to steal his ship had he got the opportunity. Unfortunately, he got the opportunity. But hey, you know what? He got his map. So, I got a feeling they're going to meet they're going to need each other in the next movie.
>> Yeah, >> because one guy's got a ship, one guy's got a map, and we're going to have to figure that junk out. But I'm really really excited to watch the next movie, guys.
>> Oh, yeah. Cuz they switch roles.
>> Yeah, >> that's so funny.
>> Who do you think really deserves a Captain The Black Pearl? I think that's the big question we need to ask.
I the thing about Barbosa the thing about Jack is I feel like Jack just is so such a goof. Like >> he drinks too much.
>> I just feel like a lot of the things that happen to Jack are so coincidental.
>> Like when he gets flung around like that, I'm like there's no shot. You just landed right on top of that thing.
>> Like all it takes is just hit your head one time like and you're done. You're at the bottom of the seat.
>> So I feel like Jack like the sea gods like help Jack.
>> Yeah, >> they have to. That doesn't answer my question at all though. Actually, I asked you who deserves to be the captain. You're talking about how lucky Jack is >> because that would you want a captain that's just lucky or would you a captain?
Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good.
>> I I know that's the problem. That's what I'm saying. What would you guys say chat?
>> I think Barbosa is just like I think Barbosa is my favorite character other than uh >> I like Barbosa. I like Barbosa.
>> I like Barbosa a lot. Um >> I just like him as the captain. like when he was doing the whole let's marry uh Will and Elizabeth, let's let's just marry them in the middle of the battle.
I thought that was just such a cool scene >> cuz he just went with it. If with Jack, you would have had to fight him >> when during that scene. I was just thinking like that's my captain right there. That is my captain. And like they can't ask uh Jack to marry them. That'd be awkward, right?
>> Well, Jack would be like a goofus about it.
>> I feel like Jack just needs his own ship. Like the Black Pearl is just like kind of serious. It's like a It's kind of like a sophisticated >> like the stepdad of that ship.
>> Well, it goes too fast. Like he's kind of like a teen. He's more like a teenager. He doesn't need a ship that goes that fast. He needs a little Honda.
Like he doesn't need like a, you know, an eight. He doesn't need like a uh like a Mustang or something like that. He doesn't need that.
>> He needs something very simple. Little four-cylinder. Little fourcylinder 1990.
Maybe like a 90 Ford Ranger. That's what he needs. Um really good movie, guys.

Babe, you got any final thoughts?
>> No, I'm just loving this uh whatever you call it, franchise, movie group.
>> It's warming me up for the summer.
>> Yeah, it really is.
>> All right, guys. See you on the next one.
