[00:00:15]Um, so I about to have this Frieren when you orchestral concert performance young Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra.

[00:00:27]Evan Call attended Anyway, so but the young come in here tempo hari so yeah, but the so yeah, I will be in here my last night in the mall but you got to go to go >> [music] >> once in a lifetime because I they are the best the cat Japan a couple of times the interesting thing is because as I mentioned earlier Evan Call the score orchestra Hungary but but the performance in here they are employed the services the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra. This is part of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and they are all women perform like you like you money >> [music] >> but the orchestral they are working my new serious hard hitting Beethoven cover again All in all it was a superb concert they pretty much did [music] both seasons one and two and the concert was about two and a half hours long with a 30-minute interval in between in general attendance was quite packed up there were a few cosplayers I wish I had taken a picture of them um, there was the one whole team of Himmel Frieren I do Uber smart guy they all got to have the fun start must have interval to venue when you video cameras came down to them and took their pictures but anyway yes, if you are fan of Frieren Evan got it a good job of doing the score. I mean, obviously there are so many other well-known non-Japanese who provide scores for anime, the likes of Kevin Penkin or whatever. But nonetheless, yeah, Evan got punya ni quite good lah. Okay, one thing I wanted to comment though, selalunya kalau orchestra performance ada at least a program book or a leaflet. Ini tak ada langsung. So, tak tahu siapa for example, it's just one guy the alternate thing between the, you know, the Irish flute, tin whistle and what what not. I think at one point he will even play an Irish bagpipe. So, as usual, they will play the animation at the background.

[00:02:37]>> [music] >> And if you have the soundtrack for season 1, for example, I think for the first part of the concert, the first five songs were played in order because obviously that was the device score that was playing in the [music] background for episode 1 and episode 2.

[00:02:56]So, so they got all the "Juwang" songs out of the way lah. Uh and interesting new soundtrack came on really early like somewhere midway in the first half of the show. One thing I have to say though, no offense to the Hungarian orchestra. I mean, obviously it's a bit it's different cuz this is another orchestra [music] and probably I have been influenced by the fact that I'm listening to it live.

[00:03:19]I don't really sound better, way better lah. Even the bit of [music] music singing they had actually did the British singers and they did a >> [music] >> very, very, very good job of soundtrack or any other tunes, for example, the head choral singers.

[00:03:33]And then mula-mula aku ingat by the time sampai interval tu, they played the last song from the second CD of the soundtrack album and then we again okay, there's not going to be much of season 2 to play with. So, they still played on some of season 1 stuff. Tapi lagu-lagu yang badut-badut tu tak main lah. So, kalau lagu macam And then they played season 2 and then season 2 obviously Hero of the South was something that I was looking forward to and the quality [music] of the songs were just fantastic cuz they So the singers were mainly men. Yeah.

[00:04:20]got any. So throughout the show other than the brilliant performances by the orchestra, the conductor had a little chat with Evan. It's quite nice to see that an outsider's point of view of what the music was like. And then he made a comment that he felt that Evan's composition for season 2 was a bit more symphonic. He has evolved that. It sounds a bit more hard-hitting and then and then when they played the Golden Land which is the music that was played in season 2. It was even more hard-hitting.

[00:04:54]And then they got Evan out again and for their encore. So he performed a medley [music] to their medley 2026. So basically they reprised the common theme but basically he modified it totally. It sounds unrecognizable but you can feel the spirit of the original fearless score in it. And obviously at the end of that encore they gave out the fearless theme.

[00:05:21]And then he he also made a comment that if you watch the fight in Divine Royalty Arc that the music titled First Classmates [music] had elements of those tracks in it.

[00:05:37]>> [music] >> Yes, there it is. Oh, one more thing.

[00:05:40]Yes, the merch was so limited. You got this t-shirt and a tote bag with the same design.

[00:05:46]Tote bag to the sold out and I came in like literally an hour before the show.

[00:05:50]So, I guess there were people who already came in way before that. And that the program book and that the trinkets that I bought just [music] a t-shirt. So, yeah. That's my show in the something in the in town concert.

[00:06:03]Free [music] rain the Wembley Arena, London. And let's hope it comes around [music] to Asia. MPO has a pretty good orchestra.

[00:06:12]It'll be nice to see them play in KL one day.
