Why Wolves Are Royalty

[00:00:00]A wolf pack at full power is able to run cave bears out of their dens. They were the bosses and the royalty of that hemisphere and we were beggars on their doorstep.

[00:00:14]We were similar to them in a a couple of ways that that are significant. Number one, they ran in an extended family system known as kinship uh and we did, too.

[00:00:29]Uh we're long-range runners. We have the most efficient cooling system on planet Earth and uh it's postulated that a trained human runner can outrun any animal on the planet over distance in the heat.

[00:00:49]So, that's a gift that we brought to the table.

[00:00:54]And wolves are very similar in that they're persistence or coursing predators.
