Compelled by A Heavenly VisionAdded:
I am so excited about the teaching today. You know, I so love the Lord. I so love the Lord. I'm looking for the day when I'm going to see his wonderful face. I really am. I cry, "Come, Lord Jesus. Come, sweet Jesus." We live for that moment. We all live for that moment when we're going to stand and see him and behold his loveliness and glory.
Thank you, Lord. And I want to talk to you today about getting ready for that glorious moment. Getting ready for that glorious moment when you will stand before the Lord and be accepted and be accepted. That's all. That's all I want is to be accepted on that day. That the that the Lord will accept me on that day that I'll find his favor on that day in love.
Cuz this life is short, saints. This life is short.
I've had many bumps in my life. I've been uh a believer since the early 70s.
1972 I was saved. February 1472.
And oh, I look back at my life. I'm amazed I'm still around to be honest with you. Over 50 years in ministry, I'm amazed I'm still here. But my love for the Lord has just grown and grown and grown and grown. Why? Because I've seen his love. He loved us before we love him. You see, he loved us first. And you see his love. You see his grace. You see his sweetness. You see his mercy. You see his forgiveness. You see his understanding. Longsuffering.
Longsuffering.
And you just grow and grow to love him.
And this this right here, this precious Bible, this word of God has so changed my life. I I I there's no way I can describe to you the impact the Bible has had on my life.
Back 14 years ago or so, Melanie Hickeyi, my dearest friend, God bless Melaniki, challenged me to read the Bible three times a year, and I've been doing it since.
And she said, "Benny, do it." And I have because she said she was doing it. You have you have no idea the change since then. You know, they just did a study.
If you read the Bible four times a week, the transformation is incredible. If if people read the Bible only once a week, the change is small or twice small. But if you read it four times or more, the change is incredible on your life. This is done just recently. Over 200,000 people went through the test and it reduced the power of sin and bondage and you name it. It affected them in every way spiritually, emotionally, physically, positively. It changed them positively transformed them. the word of God. If people, you know, when when people ask me what have I learned over in over 50 years of ministry, I've learned that the gifts of the spirit cannot keep you.
Only the Bible can keep you. Only the word of God can keep you. Only the scriptures can keep you. I've seen more miracles, I think, than a lot of people.
Signs and wonders will not keep you. The gifts will not keep you. Jesus said, "By their fruit, you'll know them." Not by their gifts.
People can can look look people can have a gift and miss heaven. Okay. But the fruits of the spirit, the fruit of the spirit is what will get you into heaven.
Into heaven that comes by the word of God. And this is a seed. Jesus called the word the seed.
When you plant the Bible in your life, it will produce fruit and and it'll transform. It'll transform you into the image of the Lord. Second Corinthians, it says, "We beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord are changed into the same image from glory to to glory as we look at his word in chapter 3 of second Corinthians." So this is his word and that's the way you get ready for heaven.
Now I want to read for you something. It says in in in Hebrews 11, by faith I'm I'm reading verse 8. Hebrews 11:8. By faith, Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an an inh an inheritance, an inheritance, obeyed and he went out, not knowing whether he went. So God called him to leave his home. He goes to the promised land. Didn't know where he was going. By faith he sjourned in the land of promise as it says in a strange country dwelling in in tabernacles or tents with Isaac, Jacob and the heirs the heirs with him of the same promise.
But he looked for a city right he looked for a city verse 10 which had foundations with builder and maker is God. So this is very very important that we understand that we are looking for heaven, the city of God. We we're not looking to stay here, you know. We're not looking to stay here. We want to go home and be with the Lord. These all, it says in verse 13 of Hebrews 11, these all died in faith, not having received the promises, but have having seen them a far off. Think of that in the spirit.
They they saw heaven far off and they were persuaded of them and embraced them and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.
For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country. Wow.
And it says literally they they could have gone back home but they didn't do it. They stayed in in the holy land and God is not ashamed to call them his people. Wow. So we have got to understand we are strangers on this earth. In 1 Peter 1:11 it's written to the strangers to the strangers.
So think about this.
One of these days, one of these days, this earth is going to be completely gone and destroyed.
So, we don't live, we don't live, you know, I'm going to say something. I probably should not, but man today wants to go to Mars. You know, they want to go to Mars. They they want to stay around for a long long long time. Not me. Not me. I'm looking forward to seeing the Lord, to be with him.
It says in Psalm 102:26, "Of old has thou laid the foundation on of the earth. The heavens are the work of your hands. They shall perish."
So they want to go and see it all. It's going to perish.
Yeah, they shall perish, but thou shall endure. Yay. All of them shall wax old like a garment as a vessel. Shalt thou change them? They shall be changed.
It says that this earth is going to be destroyed.
The heavens we know are going to be destroyed today. They want to go beyond the moon. You know, all this one day will be gone.
And second Peter, second Peter, you know, I'm a Jesus man, saints. I'm a I'm a Jesus man. I don't look for things to on this planet or this earth or beyond the earth. No, no. I'm not interested. I don't want to be with the with the Lord.
It's all I care about. 2 Peter 3 verse 4-7, you know, Peter talks about how they they they they say, "Well, where's the promise of of of his coming and so on."
And he says this very very important.
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise as some men count slackness but is longsuffering to us who are not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.
The day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night. Now it's interesting that that verse n says he's longsuffering towards us. Towards us.
The reason the Lord is waiting is that the church will be ready. That the church, not the world, the Lord is not slack concern concerning his promise.
This is second Peter 3:9 as some men count slackness, but is long-suffering to usward, not willing that any of us should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
God is waiting for his people to repent.
But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night in the which the heavens will pass away with a great noise and the elements shall melt with fervent heat. The earth also and the works that are therein shall be burnt up. Wow.
So all this is going away, you know.
So it is sure that that the world we are living in will be destroyed.
Its desires will pass away.
Now in first John in first John you know a lot of people are looking for the future. No, no, no. We're looking for the Lord's coming. First John 2 17.
They're building for the future. No. We are building our faith. We're building our lives to meet the Lord. It says, "And the world," First John 21:17, "and the world passeth away and the lust thereof, but he that doeth the will of God abides forever." So, how do we how do we get ready doing the will of God? He that does the will of God will abide forever.
In 1 Corinthians, in 1 Corinthians chapter 7 verse 31, and they that use this world as not abusing it, for the fashion of this world passeth away.
Wow, that's amazing. It's going to pass all away.
So this this changes everything.
We know now that the future of this world uh uh uh is destruction.
The future of the saints is glorious.
It's absolutely glorious.
I love what it says in in second Thessalonians.
Let's look at 2 Thessalonians uh chapter 1. Chapter 1 verse 6.
verse 6-10.
Wow.
Well, let me just read the whole part here. Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you. And to you who are troubled to and to you who are trouble, rest with us, you who are troubled, rest with us. when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels in flaming fire, taking vengeance on them that know not God, that obey not the gospel of of our Lord Jesus Christ, who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, from the glory of his power, when he shall come to be glorified in his saints. So, so the world will burn up and be destroyed, but he will come to be glorified in the saints and to be admired in all them that believe. Wow. Wow.
Ain't that wonderful?
Is to be admired in all them that believe to be glorified in the saint.
So, our future is glorious. The future of the of the world is not glorious at all. So what kind of people what kind of people should we be knowing knowing that this world one day is going to blow up? It's all it's it's all going. It's all going. That's what look that's what the Bible says. Okay? It's not what I say. It's what the Bible says that matters.
Second Peter 3:11 says something very powerful. Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be.
So the Bible says everything will be dissolved out there. The earth, the moon, the the the the planets, everything will be destroyed with fire.
So now he asks a question. What manner of persons ought ye to be?
Seeing then that all these things will be dissolved. What matter of of individual, what kind of people, what kind of person are you going to be? It says this.
Watch this. In all holy conversation or that word means conduct and godliness, he gives us the answer here. looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat. Nevertheless, we according to his promise look for a new heaven, for new heavens, and a new earth wherein dwelleth righteousness.
Wow, that amazing. Wherefore, beloved, seeing that you look for such things, be diligent that you may be found of him in peace without spot and blameless.
And an accountant, the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation.
So, but what it says is number one, what's the answer? Holiness. Holiness.
What do what do you do now when you see what's coming? It says holy living.
Holy living. What kind of person verse 11 ought you to be?
Holy conduct.
So you ought to be holy, live holy, live godly, godly lives.
See, the knowledge that the world is going to uh be destroyed should compel us to live a holy life, pleasing unto God.
Because we have a a we have a a a different nature. We have a a different destiny then our our our lifestyle should be different.
Our whole life should be different because we we have a different destiny.
We are we are going to be with the Lord.
And since we have a different destiny and we're going to be with the Lord, then our lifestyle should be different, right? We we we should not live like the world or even talk like them.
Number two, number two, he says are our our outlook.
So he says holy conversation and godliness. So that's a holy life. Number two, looking for looking forward. In other words, looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God.
looking forward to the day of the Lord.
I love this in verse 12. We must be a a looking people who are looking forward to heaven, not being so caught up with the things of the of the earth. A soldier, Paul said to Timothy, should not be entangled with the with the affairs of this life.
So, we're looking for the for the glorious appearing of the Lord, right?
That's what it says in Timothy. Uh I I should say in Titus.
In fact, let's let's go look at it quickly. I want to read Titus chapter 2 verse 13. It's a very powerful verse looking in fact, you know what? Let me read verse um 11 and on because there's a wonderful message there. That's Titus 2:1 through. For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men.
So why are we saved? teaching us that denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly and righteously and godly in this present world. That's what I said earlier. Got to live a holy life looking for that blessed hope. That's what Peter said too. Looking for the coming of the Lord and the glorious appearing of the great God and our savior Jesus Christ.
That is so important.
Who gave himself for us that he might redeem us from all iniquity and purify unto himself a peculiar people zealous wow of good works or a his own special people. So what what changes is when you see that this world is going to be dissolved.
So what kind of life should we live? a holy life, a godly life. Number two, it changes our outlook. We look for the coming of the Lord. But number three, number three, this is very important because he said, and let's let's go back quickly, please, to second Peter one more time because he says one more thing that I want to point out that's very important. Okay, we're looking at 2 Peter 3:12 now. Okay? looking for and hasting.
Now, hasting unto the coming hasting or hastening is is the Greek word unto the coming of the day of God. So, not only are we to to look up, but more than that, it should affect our life where we're not waiting passively for zero hour to strike.
that we are we are we are we are active in preaching the gospel.
We are we are we are doing our job in getting the gospel out because it says hastening.
We got to be doing something not just looking but hastening. And here it says hasting unto that word hastening mean active active working preaching the gospel. So three things he said what do you do now that you know this is all going to be dissolved live holy look for the coming of the Lord and be busy preaching the gospel.
You know I'm 73 years old. I'm sitting in Africa last year in Uganda. The Lord said if you want Africa I'll give it to you. I thought maybe I just slow down.
Now the Lord has given me the whole continent. 27 countries have invited me to Africa to all crusades with government support.
Can you believe it? And here I am 73.
I'm traveling more now than I did when I was young. Why? Because God says, "Come on, go. Keep going." There's no such thing as retirement in the ministry. We don't retire. We just keep going. I want to go home preaching. I want to go home to heaven while preaching. I want to say, you know, there was a dear dear man in Minneapolis, a wonderful man of God that I know used to go preach for him and uh he was preaching on a Sunday night and the Lord said, "I'm going to take you home now. I'm going to take you home now." So he got he he was preaching while while the Lord said that, he said goodbye to to this congregation of thousands of people. He said goodbye to his wife. They thought he was going home. They thought he was going home.
Like home like in to his house. He said, "I'm going home.
I love you all.
Goodbye." He sat down and he passed away just like that. Wow. That's the way to go, right? Preaching. And the Lord said, "I'm I'm taking you home right now." And he just said goodbye to the congregation. So he went and kissed his wife and said goodbye and sat down and went went to be with with the Lord. Look look preaching the gospel.
We got to do the job. We got to get the gospel out to the world. Let's do it together.
So let's not just sit waiting for zero hour. Huh?
Wow. This is this is a glorious moment we we are we are living in. Listen, the Lord is coming. And frankly, that day is getting nearer because as we as we're preaching the gospel, you know, God is shortening the days for us. Somebody was telling me uh uh a few days ago about the dangers of AI that now AI is is creating itself.
And I thought, "Oh, dear Lord." You know, who thought 10 years ago we would see all this technology?
And I believe that God is going to shorten the days for the for the sake of the elect because he said so. He said so in his word that he will shorten the days for the elect's sake. Otherwise, not one person will will stay alive when the when the Lord returns.
He even said, "Will there be faith on the earth when he returns?" Because of technology. Technology. That's why I'm pleading with you. Get to know him through his word. Forget all this stuff out there. For forget all this stuff out there. Please get to know him through his word. Get close to the Lord. Cleave to the Lord. Cleave to the Lord. Begin to live a holy life. And only the Bible, only his word will help you live a holy life.
Only his precious word will help you look for the coming of the Lord. Only his precious word will enable you to stay active and busy for the Lord. For the Lord, look, you don't have to travel to Africa like I am. Okay? You can you you you can you can preach the gospel to your neighbors, to your family. You can share the gospel with with people everywhere you go, in the mall, in you know, in your job.
When when I got saved, I used to stutter back then. And every Saturday I used to pass take tracks to the mall and give tracks away in the mall as I I wanted to preach the gospel so bad and I had just gotten saved.
February 14, 1972, I began handing out tracks on the wall.
Later on, here I am 50 years or so later, over 50 years later, I'm still going to the world.
And this has changed my life. If you really want to get ready for heaven right here, this is the secret.
When you open the Bible, you look into the face of Jesus.
He starts talking to you.
He starts changing you. He starts transforming you. He becomes real to you through his precious word. Old and New Testament.
You see, when you read the Old Testament and you see the prophecies of the Old Covenant, so many of them, it's in incredible the details that the prophets gave about the Lord's life, his birth first, then his life, his ministry, his death, his resurrection, his ascension, his second coming. It's all here. And then you see it in the New Testament fulfilled with such detail about his birth in Bethlehem.
His life in Nazareth in Galilee, his death, suffering, death and resurrection, his ascension in heaven.
All in here. All in here.
It's incredible. You know, I've I've marked my my Bible so much. See all the colors I have in there?
That's why today I have to leave it on my iPad because I can't even sometimes I got to, you know, get like a glass, a magnifying glass so you can see it.
But I'll tell you something.
It'll change your life. Change it. It'll change your life. If you 70 hours, you can read the whole Bible in 70 hours. That's that's a fact.
Okay. Lord, get them ready for your coming.
Get them ready for your coming. I give you praise. And we all cry, "Come, Lord Jesus. Come, Lord Jesus.
Prepare us for your return. And you're able, Lord, to keep us from falling and to present us faultless, blameless before you in love. If you don't, if you do not know the Lord right now, give him your life.
Just say, "Dear Jesus, I need you. I'm a sinner. Forgive my sins. Lord, come into my heart and save my soul." Just say it right now. Say, "Lord, wash me with your blood. I give you my life and I surrender.
Begin to live for the Lord. Read his word. Go to church. Go to church every Sunday. Find a church where Jesus is glorified. His word is preached in his truth is preached.
Don't look for signs and wonders. Look for the word of God. Look for the word of God where it's preached. Yes, we all need to see miracles and we need healing. We need to, you know, I'm not saying we don't need the gifts. We need the gifts. But we don't focus on that.
We focus on the Lord and his word and his word.
That's important.
Thank you for being with me today. Okay?
And pray for me as I go to the world.
And listen, we're putting together a prayer army.
We're going to pray for each other. I'm going to pray for your needs.
You're going to see just quickly in just a second about that. It's time to pray for each other. It's time. It's time to pray together. It's to pray for the needs of the world. It's to pray for the needs of each other. Your needs. I want to pray for your needs. Really, I do.
But we all all also need to pray for what's happening in the church in the world that God's will be done.
My heart cry today is to pray for the persecuted church in the world.
I was so torn up and so so amazed, deeply affected in Uganda last year when I met pastors from countries that were living under persecution. and I'm going to go back in June. Many of them will be back.
Let's pray for each other. Join this prayer army. Join this prayer army so we can pray for each other. And I Yes, of course. I'll be praying with you and praying for you. And thank you again for supporting me going to Africa and the and the world. I'm on my way to the Ivory Coast.
I go from the Ivory. This is in May.
Then I go to Ghana.
Come back for a few days. I go to Guatemala.
Literally early June I'm in Guatemala. I come back the end of June I'm in Uganda.
Uganda.
So it's a lot of a lot of activity coming up now beginning literally the next few days. So thank you for your love and support. And as you give, the Lord will bless you. Lord bless them.
Honor them as they honor you in Jesus wonderful name. Amen. Thank you for your love, your giving, and please watch this. God love you. I'll see you tomorrow.
What a time to become a partner with Benny Hinn Ministries. Right now, a wave of revival is sweeping across Africa and around the world. From the staggering crowds in Uganda, where over 1.5 million people gathered to crusades in Zimbabwe, God is shaking the nations with his power. And Pastor Benny is traveling more than ever under a greater anointing than we've seen in decades. Multitudes are being saved, healed, and delivered by the power of the gospel. These are last days, and we're seeing the prophetic promises of Joel 2:28 come to pass. I will pour out my spirit on all flesh. And as you partner with this ministry, you're not just sewing seed.
You are participating in the harvest.
Every soul reached, every healing witnessed, every life changed, you are a part of it all. Jesus said in Matthew 6:20, "Lay up for yourself treasures in heaven." And Philippians 4:17 declared, "Not that I desire a gift, but that fruit may abound to your account." When you give, God himself becomes your rewarder. He will multiply your seed sown and you will walk in the supernatural blessings of a gospel partner. This is your moment. This is your day. Join us and
