Here's Why I Chose Islam After Questioning Every Religion

[00:00:30]We can look at the top world religions. For example, Buddhism, it's more of spiritual. It's more of Kumbaya, right?

[00:01:02]Which rejects that Jesus was the Messiah.

[00:01:06]I don't reject that Jesus was uh not the Messiah. I believe he was the Messiah.

[00:01:27]They also say that he was beaten in front of his mother beyond recognition.

[00:01:33]And then I ask myself, why would God allow one of his prophets to be beaten to the point beyond recognition in front of his own mother? Man, if God did that to me, I wouldn't believe in him.

[00:01:49]And then I look at Islam and I and I and I and Islam says Jesus is the Messiah.

[00:01:55]He is the son of Mary.

[00:01:58]He is the messenger of God.

[00:02:00]People wanted to un-alive him.

[00:02:03]By being a prophet of God, being a pious human being, coming from a pious lineage, when he asked God, "God, save me. These people want to cause me harm."

[00:02:18]God said, "I got you." And then God lifted Jesus alive into the second heaven.

[00:02:27]And nobody harmed Christ. So now, as a Muslim, I get to believe God is one and indivisible. He has no sons, daughters, mom, uncle, dad, cousin. He has none of that. God is one.

[00:02:44]Yeah. And I And I get to believe in Jesus properly. I get to believe in the proper Jesus and the historic Jesus, not any fairy tale mythological Greek version of Jesus who dies on a cross for the salvation of the whole world. That's why I'm a Muslim, really.

The Bible says that every knee shall Every knee shall bow, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, yeah. So supposing that is true, and you've not turned your life around to Christ. You You understand, bro?

What it actually says the actual scripture that we shall go bow before the throne of God and kneel before the throne of God and accept that Jesus Christ is Lord. And that And that doesn't say that you will kneel before the throne of God.

Now, you're going to correlate that back to John chapter 8 verse 58 where Jesus says, "Truly I tell you, before Abraham was, I am." It's two different words being used in Exodus 3:14, it's ah eh ah shed ah eh eh in in the Gospel of John chapter 8 verse 58, it's ego I me ho an. I am the living one.

[00:06:19]Then is so the Jews are talking to Jesus and the Jews said, "You're not 50 years old and you know Abraham." Then it said, "Before Abraham was, I am." Then the Bible says, "The Jews took up stones to stone him." Yeah, they weren't trying to stone him because he says he knew Abraham. No, he actually says, "Abraham rejoiced seeing my day."

[00:06:48]Why would Abraham rejoice at seeing the day of Jesus? Well, because Abraham was a prophet, Jesus is a prophet, Abraham knowing that God would send more prophets, knowing that Jesus would be one of those prophets to be sent, Abraham rejoiced at God sending more prophets. That's what he said. And they didn't try to stone him because he claimed to be God. If you look at the context of John 6, 7, and 8, the reason they want to stone him is because he's claiming Messiahship, not divinehood or divinity. It's because he's claiming to be the Messiah and they're asking him, "If you're the Messiah, why are we still in exile? Why are we in oppression?"

[00:07:34]Because they expected a warrior Messiah to go through the gates of Jerusalem and and take them away from Roman captivity and do X, Y, and Z, and Jesus did none of that.

[00:07:46]Then and the Bible said, "We don't stone you for doing a good work, but you being a man make you feel so God."

[00:07:55]Yeah, and what does Jesus say?

[00:07:58]"You have said so."

[00:08:01]He says, "Is it not written in your law, I have said, 'Ye are gods.'"

[00:08:07]He says, "You say this, not me. You say that, I don't." Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. See, you go to an Islamic world, he he was claiming to be God himself in the first >> Brother, if you call me if you call me a dog, is that me calling myself a dog?

[00:08:27]No, no, but you go to an Islamic >> Hold on. So, when Jesus says, "You have said so," that's an accusation that they're making against Jesus. That's not Jesus saying those things. Were you Were you a Christian before you become Muslim? No, I was never a Christian.
