This video examines the controversy surrounding Donald Trump's attempt to have his name placed on the Kennedy Center, a living memorial to President John F. Kennedy. The content explains that the judiciary successfully ruled against this action, demonstrating that the three branches of government can function properly when the judiciary exercises its authority. The video criticizes the Republican party's defense of this situation, arguing that it reveals a pattern of prioritizing self-aggrandizement over public service and demonstrates how political figures may disregard legal boundaries when it serves their interests.

Abby Phillip CATCHES Scott Jennings off Guard in Heated Debate!
Added:What is it the Democrats do for fun on a Friday night? These haters stand out on the street screeching about a name.
>> What about the law?
>> What about it? He took an interest in it. What about who cares? Let me tell you what I see by the what I see.
>> We're abiding by the law.
>> You have very little going on in your life on a Friday night and you're standing in front of the thing whistling. I mean >> won the White House the first time and especially the second time.
>> I have an alternative explanation. They don't want to be able to exercise uh what most people would agree to have a a heavy dose of psychopathy that is rooted in some sense of self that is not necessarily rooted in anything. So he wants his name on buildings. He wants his picture on dollar bills. He >> Hello everybody. Guys, let's give this guy our thoughts and prayers. He's off to a tough mission soon. Operation Bones and Moans. I know, crazy mission, right?
We got agentouble o deep throw Scott Jennings back on the panel. Let's get into this segment and we'll talk about it.
>> It is pretty extraordinary. I I I had to chuckle cuz I was reading the court filing by DOJ as they tried to convince the court to to allow them to keep the name up. Um, and they changed the bylaws of the Kennedy Center to basically say that any money that they received while that name was up there was contingent on Donald Trump's name being on the Kennedy Center, which is a living memorial to the former president. And the court filing says the reason for this clause is that people and companies who have given or will be giving millions of dollars to the center were only willing to do so with the name Trump on the building. Many did it because they loved the concept of two great presidents, one Republican, one Democrat, working together as one. In many ways, a bipartisan relationship exclamation point. Not sure >> if Donald Trump has started working at the Justice Department, but yeah, I mean, >> it's almost comical if it didn't actually happen.
>> So, can I I'm going to just be a lawyer for a second. The the reason why this is a great moment in history, what's going on, that his name is coming down, is that the judiciary has no real power to make sure people do what they say. So, right now, President Trump can say, "No, no, no, no, nothing's coming down." And the judge has nothing. There's nothing.
The judge doesn't have an army. The judge doesn't have any any power to do anything. So this is our government actually working that the when the judiciary uses the power of a pen nothing more than the power of a pen saying no you can't do this and everyone is following the judge's order that's a a a great American moment that the government is working the three branches of government are working the way they're supposed to >> great American moment >> I actually agree with them but I also think that when you look at >> it's okay you're allowed to YOU SAID IT LIKE HOLY COW I ACTUALLY AGREE WITH you're allowed I do agree with you.
>> It's 10:06. I just got started.
>> I didn't even get a complete SENTENCE OUT. I WAS IT WAS THE TONE. IT was Yes, I agree with you. You're right. 3 or 4% of the time.
>> So, what I was You're not going to agree with this part. What I was going to say is I I believe this is just indicative of what the Trump presidency will be.
You have an individual who uh has uh what most people would agree to have a a heavy dose of psychopathy that is rooted in some sense of self that is not necessarily rooted in anything. So he wants his name on buildings. He wants his picture on dollar bills. He wants those type of things. Um, and when Donald Trump is gone, I do believe that many of the things that he deems to be accomplishments, those superficial things without changing the lives for the better of the American people will come down >> and will be erased. And so this is going to be the first, although this is something that individuals can see, not just with their mind's eye, but they can literally see with their eyes, that name coming down. And I think that there's going to be a lot of scrubbing from the history books of Donald Trump's name. Uh the things that Donald Trump has done and the things that won't be expuned are things like impeachment.
>> You know what? I I think it's a it's an important point that this for liberals is sort of like a celebr.
>> Guys, at what point does anyone mention fraud, waste, and abuse? Does this fall into any of those things? At least waste. We're wast not only we wasting effing time on this but money removing putting a name on removing it like this is just nonsense >> moment but I think it is emblematic of one of the big problems with this Trump second term he is expending a huge amount of energy >> uh self aggrandising in the office he was elected to lower prices make people's lives better um instead he's calling into meetings according to CNN's reporting that um that according to a source it was like an episode of VEP.
He's calling into meetings at the Kennedy Center to talk to them about this uh issue to attack the judge's wife uh who was a former attorney for Joe Biden at one point. Um then the board says, "Oh, maybe they'll make uh a resolution to honor Trump that would recognize his major contributions."
>> What is all of this about? I mean, is is the entire government supposed to be working to make this one man feel good about himself?
>> Well, are we upset that the pres >> shut up, Scott? Especially you, Scott, when it's you that should be making him feel better, right? Agentouble o deep throat. What's going on, Papito? That's your job. Trick it if you got it right, Scott. Do something a little strange for a little change. It ain't no thing like a chicken wing on a string. Finish that rhyme someone in the comments. That That's all Poppy got right now, guys.
Scott is just sad that that's just one more place he can't have a nice date with Trump in. They took away the ballroom already. He was ready to dance to genuine for Trump. It's all else for Scotty. He's panicking. Guys, in all seriousness, I love showing these segments because again, look at where the Republican party's focus is. This idiot is calling into these meetings telling them to threaten the judge's wife so that he can get his name. Like does anyone wonder why prices may not be coming down? Like this is what they're doing. This is their focus instead of trying to do anything to get inflation under control. This is their focus. Giving hand jobs to the president that will never be satiated. And it's important to show this because look at how they defend this. the most ridiculous things because if they defend this, you have to be logical enough as a viewer to know that these people are hacks and will defend anything. You shouldn't take people like Scott Jennings and evil Mr. Clean serious.
Serious.
I hope this comes across very easily to people who watch my my channel. Even a conservative can see this as bright as they are. President of the United States took an interest in the Kennedy Center.
Look, an interest in a building needs to be >> are upset about that. Yes.
>> But why why would they be upset about it? Now, I'll answer my own question because they've never they've never been able to stand the fact that Donald Trump won the White House the first time and especially the second time.
>> I have an alternative explanation.
>> They don't want to be able to establish the Kennedy Center as a memorial for John F. Kennedy and that it is illegal for him to slap his name on it. That is why people are talking about it.
>> Here's the deal. He took an interest in this. What about the law, Scott?
>> What about it? He took an interest in it. What about who cares? Let me tell you what I see. Let me tell you what I see by the law.
>> You can't get the government at 3:00 on a Friday, yet we can build scaffolding to scrape a name off the side of a building.
>> Build scaffolding on the side of this is what the government can do. And what is it that Democrats do for fun on a Friday night? These haters stand out on the street screeching about a name.
>> Wow. Haters. to your point about >> look how performative that loser is.
God, he's a bopper for apples, guys.
The the things that this man is willing to defend, honestly, it it shocks it shocks my inner core how this man can defend this guys. He's calling these people losers. Yes, let's blame the people watching the name come down and call them losers. Not the sociopath current president of the United States who put his name on front of a former dead president's memorial.
My [ __ ] And guys, he let that slip there accidentally. Oh, who cares about the law? That's exactly how Republicans see it. That's exactly how they see it.
They don't give a [ __ ] about the law when it's when it's something that they want. Just like January 6, these people do not get they have no morals. There's no standings. There's no principles.
There's there's no ethics with these people. It >> is against the law. I want to give a shout out to Representative Joyce Bey. I think that she actually tells the story that when she was on a she's a member of the board and there was a meeting and and she wasn't there and she called in virtually and she this was not on the agenda to change the name or add Donald Trump's name to the Kennedy Center and she tried to speak up against it when she found out about it. She said she was shocked. They muted her. They wouldn't allow her to talk. She then actually filed the lawsuit to stop this. And on May 29th, we now find out that this when the judge said, "You know what? You're right. take it down. And I just want to give her a shout out for one particular reason. When they tried to shut her down, she said it wasn't about me. It was about arts and it's bigger than this. And it wasn't fair. And she was the only one that had enough coonus to say >> hutzbah >> hutspic testicular fortitude.
>> Testicular fortitude. Thank you, friends. To say, you know what, it's not right and someone should do something about it. She said Donald Trump was on the meeting when she was actually trying to object and he was trying to intimidate her with looks and she still went ahead. So shout out to her for saying something is wrong. Let's do something about it and it should do something for all of us Americans who feel like we're not happy.
>> New Yorkers are not surprised that Donald Trump is putting his name on everything.
>> Shut up a thinking here guys. The selfishness selfishness of Trump a billionaire the president still not enough for the big crybaby. Any money donated to the Kennedy Center while Trump's name was there is being taken away. Do you know how insane this is?
This is important, guys, because you still hear morons say how I heard Joe Rogan say how much Trump loves America and really wants it to look nice and that's why he wants the the ballroom.
Like this right here proves to anyone with a normal functioning brain that is obviously all about Trump. It's always all about him. If he doesn't benefit his name not being put on it, no improving that Kennedy Center. Incredible. The level of narcissism is almost comical.
Like Abby said, the guy is just vile.
How embarrassing as a nation this idiot became president twice. Guys, the man still has 82% support amongst Republicans. I just read it this morning. Over eight and ten conservatives look at Trump and say, >> "Yeah, that's my guy, >> Diablo."
>> I mean, it's just like it's laughable for us. I mean, his name is everywhere.
I've gone to a Trump grill and Abby, I've never seen this before. I ordered a hamburger and on the bun, God bless him.
>> Who cares? You losing.
>> And on the bun, they take a they char it with his with his profile. Like, so I'm eating President Trump. But you know what? I'm with Scott, too. Like you could have very little going on in your life on a Friday night that you're standing in front of the thing whistling. I mean >> like go watch on CNN something productive.
>> I I mean you can argue that that's the case but these are also American citizens. Maybe they care about the law.
Maybe they care about maybe they care about maybe they care about what the judge said is is the the plain text of the law. quote, "The Kennedy C Center's organic statute makes it crystal clear that the senator the center is to be named for president Congress gave the senator its name. Only Congress can."
>> Can we also acknowledge that for >> this idiot? Again, they defend this.
Both of them are saying basically, "Oh, you got nothing to do on a Friday night but watch this guy's name come down."
idiot. On a Friday night, you are talking about the people watching the guy's name come down. Your night doesn't sound much more glamorous. Cuba does it.
>> Since its inception, the Kennedy Center has been a place where the arts have flourished.
>> Yeah.
>> It has not been a place of partisan politics at all.
>> Nobody ever said, "We're going to go to the Kennedy Center because John F.
Kennedy was a great Democrat." No one ever says that. They go to celebrate the arts.
>> They go to show Melania the movie at the Kennedy Center. That's where preview.
Well, you know, speaking speaking of that, you know, the park service has also been in the crosshairs of this administration. And just tonight, a judge um ruled that they have to reinstall signs and exhibits at the national parks about topics like slavery and climate change. Uh these are exhibits that had been removed like for example in the National Historic Park in Philadelphia that had an a exhibit about slavery. um at Fort Sumpter in South Carolina that had an exhibit about climate change, at the Acadia National Park that had an exhibit about indigenous people. So, um they're going to have to put it back according to this judge, at least for now.
>> What we're seeing in real time, which is good for me, is that you can no longer create your own narrative. This administration has a history of doing that and eraser. And so, right now, people are saying, and I don't know, of course they're going to push back and they will appeal. I'll leave it to the attorneys to talk about it, but I like the idea of someone saying, "You can't create your own history in real time."
And when it talks of when we talk about the Kennedy Center, I have said this on the show before, him putting his name on that living memorial is like someone else putting their name on someone else's tombstone. It is outside of it being illegal. It's such a level of disrespect and it shows that would he would he want anyone to do that to him?
How? Imagine the Donald Trump Center and someone comes on and another president author Donald Trump.
>> Correct. There we go.
>> There hamburgers.
>> I like the sound of that.
>> Who can forget? Who can forget by the way at the great battle of Fort Sumpter when they were all arguing about the future of climate change and they were just couldn't couldn't come to an agreement over climate change and the cannonball started I mean what a joke climate change the crazy battle of Fort the crazy part about the battle of Fort Sumpter off the coast of Charleston South Carolina is what people do remember that some of the first slaves did come in >> and so while you're having this conversation and I understand the angst about climate change but when you have when you have plaques about indigenous people, you do re recognize Christopher Columbus didn't discover this place, right? You do understand that America, as great as she is, has her warts and we have to celebrate her warts and her successes. That is what makes this country great. I wouldn't >> Yeah, I was going to say, yeah, we talk about that off hand.
>> We'll keep an eye on this as we go along.
>> What do you think make America great means again to these idiots? They want to go back to a time, guys. how someone with the personality traits of Trump fooled millions of people into thinking that yeah, this guy will have your best interest at heart. I mean, the level of gullibility in this country is a thing that it always shocks me about Republicans. They fall for every damn thing. It's almost like they have been fooled so badly to hate the other side so much. They find a way to excuse anything in their little minds.
The most ridiculous behavior, the most in-your-face evidence. It's a real psychological issue with Republican voters that I don't think goes away with Trump because I bet deep down inside they agree with us as far as you see as what how we see Trump. But they are sunken so deep into this abyss of hate for the other side that they are somewhat blinded. I don't know. It's something along those lines. But they aren't able to see anything clear minded anymore. Their hate-filled minds are consumed with bigotry and conspiracies.
These people can't they they just can't generally be happy. It's sad. And you hope one day they snap out of this trance, right?
Millions of Americans, what is 70, 80 millions of these idiots voted for this guy and these two pricks on the panel take advantage of these people, the broken minds and hearts of these people.
But I'm going to leave it there, guys.
Let me know what you think about all this in the comments. Please leave a like, subscribe. Really helps the channel. Really helps push the message out there. And I'll catch you in the next one. All right.
