What's the weather in Toledo today? Wednesday to bring afternoon rain, colder temps | WTOL 11 WeatheAdded:
Still tracking more rain on the way.
We're all thinking, "When are we going to get a break from these scattered showers?"
Eventually, we're getting there, but looking at radar and satellite right now, it's very off and on as far as these rain showers go, but otherwise, just those cloudy gray Ohio skies, that damp feel, but eventually, those showers will be pushing on out of here. Just got to get there first. So, any afternoon, evening plans you have, we're still missing some more on and off rain.
Luckily, nothing strong or severe. So, we have a baseball game Saturday and track meet, or just want to try to get outside. Not tracking anything as far as lightning, thunder, or severe weather goes. Just those typical springtime showers. Just very off and on, but this is the thing that I'm looking at are these temperatures. That's enough for me to think, "Oh, I think I'd rather stay inside for this evening." But, you know what? To each their own. We are seeing temperatures feeling more like March for today and the next several days. Still a little bit of rain early tomorrow morning, but then we'll continue to see some on and off rain around this time tomorrow. And some of us actually could see some sunshine. The further west we are, the further east you are, seeing clouds and those rain showers. So, it's really 50/50 as far as those rain showers go, but most of us look to be fairly dry. Just a little bit of some light rain. And another cool day is on the way. We're seeing those temperatures still staying in the 50s. And we're staying cool for the rest of the week, going on to that first few those first few days of May. Still below average temperatures. I mean, look at this.
Friday morning, we're seeing temperatures in the 40s. So, I don't know about you. I'm still going to be having my winter jacket on this weekend because it's going to be quite a cool down. Eventually, we see that mixture of sunshine and clouds, but eventually, a little bit of some light rain will develop. Most of us look to be fairly dry for Friday. But, I know a lot of us are thinking ahead towards the weekend.
We have proms. We have graduations this weekend. So, congratulations to all the grads, families, teachers, everyone who's celebrating this weekend. It's turning cold for Saturday. We're forecasting highs around 51°.
Our average highs by then are around 68°. So, we're almost 20° below average.
That slight northwesterly breeze, but the big thing I know it's going to be cold for graduation.
But, at least it will be dry. Not really tracking anything as of now as far as those rain showers go. So, again, congratulations. I wish we had warmer weather for the graduation celebrations this weekend. I'm thinking more college.
I know we still have high school in a few weeks. And we do have some proms this weekend as well, too. And certainly want to bundle up. You know what? I kind of wish we could flip the numbers as far as the weekend goes because we're seeing 60s on Sunday, which is still cool, but it's better than forecasting those highs in the low 50s. But, something we're else we're looking at, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday mornings. Look at these lows right here. In the low to mid 30s. We have a chance for some frost. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday mornings. So, if you have those plants already out, cover them up. Bring them inside if they're in pots because we have multiple chances for some frost on the way. Likely, those lows will gradually warm up going on into next week. And so will our highs.
You can see those upper 60s by Monday, low 60s on Tuesday, mid 60s on Wednesday, upper 50s by Thursday.
Friday, we're in the low 60s. So, we're really not seeing any relief as far as a warm up warm up goes anytime soon. In fact, next weekend is Mother's Day weekend. Still tracking below average temperatures 8 to 14 days out. Let's look at your extended forecast.
