Liverpool: Can Restore Britain Help These Communities

[00:00:06]>> You know, cultural change is happening, isn't it? A matters there. There's a matter here. Good morning everybody and welcome to another video where today I'm currently in Kensington Canvas again for Restore Britain. But I've come and I've started in Kensington because this is an area where many residents feel the pace of change has been too fast. Local people have not been listened to >> and you know whether it's housing pressure, the loss of community identity, uh neglected streets or frustration with just the mainstream politics. This is exactly the kind of place where someone like Restore believe they can gain that support.

[00:01:01]But immigration is one of the biggest issues facing Britain today. And it's something that people across the country at all more and more openly. Not because people are hateful, not because people are angry for the sake of it, but because they can see the pressure it's putting on communities, housing, wages, public services, the identity of the country itself. And that's why I think Restore Britain has gained attention. so quickly cuz whether people agree with every policy or not, you know, they're at least willing to talk about issues that many feel the mainstream parties either ignore or dance around. And when restore Britain talks about immigration, the arguments are centered around control. The idea that a country should decide who comes in, how many comes in, and whether immigration is genuinely benefiting the people already living here. They speak heavily about reducing mass migration, deporting illegal migrants, strengthening border security, and prioritizing British citizens when it comes to housing, jobs, and public services. They also argue that immigration should be based more on skills, contribution, and integration rather than the current system, which many believe is just unsustainable.

[00:02:01]Britain believes visible disorder matters. Fly tipping, litter, and vandalism send a message that nobody is in control and nobody cares.

[00:02:11]East's position is that communities deserve clean streets, tougher enforcement against offenders.

[00:02:27]Oh, it's absolutely a mattress there.

[00:02:37]The area is absolutely disgusting.

[00:02:40]Honestly, now this is not about hatred or hostility towards individuals, but you walk down roads that you've known your whole life and you just can't help but feel disconnected from them.

[00:02:53]And some roads here in Kensington have been fragmented.

[00:02:58]I'm now going to probably take a right and end up somewhere along um Anfield ways now, probably Everton Breath Road, something like that. And uh deliver what I've got left.

[00:03:13]It's been a long a long long day, but uh I'm determined to get rid of all these leaflets.

[00:03:23]And people will say what they want.

[00:03:29]But it is what it is. Just >> just now I see it now.

[00:03:37]>> Don't recognize anybody anymore.

[00:03:39]>> I don't uh understand most people anymore.

[00:03:50]Yeah. Saddens me. It really does sadden me. And Now when it comes to you know illegal migration restore Britain's position is simple. If someone enters this country illegally you know they should not be allowed to stay. You know, the party believes Britain must regain control of its borders and restore, you know, public confidence in the immigration system and prioritize the safety, stability and interest of the British citizen.

[00:04:26]You know, the policies built around the deportation of illegal migrants, faster removals, tougher border enforcement, and ending what they describe as incentives for illegal entry, such as the warm, cozy hotel accommodations and lengthy asylum processing.

[00:04:43]Beast or Britain also argues that foreign nationals who commit serious crime or refuse to integrate should lose the right to remain in our country. Now there's a part on the leaflet that says reverse mass legal immigration. Restore Britain makes a distinction between illegal immigration and legal immigration. And the party argues that Britain should be able to welcome people who genuinely contribute, integrate and respect the country. Their stance is that legal immigration should be strictly controlled, skills-based, and heavily reduced overall with priority given to people who work, speak English, contribute economically, and embrace British's values. The party says immigration should serve the interest of the British public first, economically, culturally, and socially, rather than simply increasing population growth or cheap labor. Critics argue that the policies are too far and risk unfairly targeting migrants. But us supporters say they reflect concerns many people feel have been ignored for many years now.

[00:05:46]Once again, just more dumping because the uh the punishments aren't draconian enough.

[00:05:57]You know, I'm I'm pretty confident that Restore Britain would definitely take more of a draconian approach to this kind of behavior. You can see, you know, why this issue matters so much to people, you know, walk around many towns in cities today and people are asking the question, you know, who is actually putting the British people first.

[00:06:25]Now every single house here has a reform leaflet and uh I will move on now toward the wreck road area. So on to the road we go and I will post a few along this road. Um, and the reason I'm doing a lot today is cuz I've got a day off work and um I've probably got about 500 leaflets that I really want to get rid of. Not rid of cuz I'll just go and get more anyway, but uh obviously it's something I'm passionate about. Restore Britain is something I truly believe in and I really need I want to get the word out there.

[00:07:15]Yeah, I'm going to post up and down along uh the roads off Belmont Road as well. So, I might not actually make it to um breath road or pri road like I want to. I will probably have to leave that for another video, but we will see.

[00:07:44]We have a full-on pamper party going on here. The bin is being pampered.

[00:07:54]Oh dear.

[00:07:59]He sees unrecognizable just down here, but wait until we get onto B road. Again, the reason why these it's important that we get these leaflets out and make people aware cuz people can say what they want, but you know, cultural change is happening, isn't it? Look, now this on the end of road is a Beeth mosque. Now, it was originally existed at a church named Richmond Baptist Church. And if you'd have told me 15, 20 years ago that this would be a mosque, I would have laughed at you. But here we are in the unrecognizable road area.

[00:08:58]Now, there's a reason why I pointed that out. It's an important point to understand properly because for many sports this is not about attacking other religions or targeting individuals for their beliefs. It's about recognizing, you know, the role Christianity played in shaping Britain's history, culture, traditions, and values over hundreds of years. And whether someone is personally religious or not, um you know, you cannot deny the influence uh Christianity has had on this country from our churches, cathedrals to our holidays, our laws, traditions and even ideas around charity, community, morality, you know, Christianity has been deeply woven into British identity for centuries and I think many people feel our heritage is feeding.

[00:10:32]Bloody van got in the way. Anyway, she was uh walking away there shouting, "I've worked to have this." And I think, you know, you could hear the frustration in her voice shouting and I think she just took her out on that poor delivery driver there. I don't know what happened really a place like this. This was found fruit now to L5 Almadina which you know really just shows the the the change around here.

[00:11:03]The whole community library has gone.

[00:11:09]You know all the shops on what down here we've got a a post office that was held up and will probably be gone soon.

[00:11:20]They've got a European food market, an eggfree cake box, a Turkish barber, a vape store, a nail shop. Now, of course, Britain today is a diverse country, and people are free to follow whatever faith they choose or none at all.

[00:11:41]Freedom of religion is an important British principle, but Restore Britain's Islands is that respecting diversity should not mean erasing Britain's own cultural foundations in the process. And I think this conversation resonates with many ordinary people because they feel like patriotism, heritage, and tradition are too often treated negatively in modern Britain.

[00:12:06]And when in reality, you know, they can be things that unite communities and create a shared sense of belonging. Now, ultimately, this policy is about identity, about whether Britain remains connected to the history and traditions that built the country or whether those traditions gradually disappear through fear of defending them.

[00:12:30]People just don't see the hints, do they with the fridges? I've done many a video down that road and uh people just don't seem to listen park.

[00:12:47]God, you know, this is where I grew up from plays around here. And again, don't get me wrong, the path hasn't changed much at all.

[00:13:00]It's uh it's always been a bit rund down, a bit of a a bit of a dump, but you know, you'd recognize people and uh now you just don't be a time when I could come here and let on to the taxi drivers at the top, people just walking through. I honestly don't recognize anyone now.

[00:13:31]I think ultimately you know immigration has become such a major political topic you know it's not just about numbers it's about culture national identity economic pressure in the future direction of our country and for me personally I think people are tired of scripted political answers you know they want honesty they want open debate and they want politician You know, we're willing to say what many ordinary people are already thinking. And whether restore becomes a major force or not, one thing is clear. These conversations are no longer going away. More and more people want change and immigration is right at the center of that discussion.

[00:14:16]Right everyone, that is the end of a long day out camping for Restore Britain here in Liverpool. We've spent the day speaking to local people walking through communities that many feel have been ignored for years and listening to the frustrations people have about the direction this country is heading in. A lot of the areas we visited today are places where people feel forgotten.

[00:14:36]People are concerned about crime and social behavior, pressure on housing, services, fly tipping, the loss of community identity and the feeling that ordinary working people are no longer being listened to by those in power.

[00:14:50]Whether you agree with Restore Britain or not, you know, one thing is clear.

[00:14:53]When you actually come out and speak to people face to face, there's sorry mate, there's frustration, there's anger, and there's a real appetite for change. That is why I wanted to come out here today and show these communities, you know, for what they really are, not statistics, not headlines, real places with real people who care about where they live and want to see their areas improve. Restore Britain. talks a lot about stronger borders, law, order, protecting British culture and putting low communities first. But listen, thanks to everyone who stopped the tour today.
