Added:Hi students kids these are some formulas which you have to keep in mind for the Quantitative Aptitude portion of the exam.
So now see, if any two numbers are given, their product is equal to the multiplication of HCF * HCF * LCM. So HCF = HCF * LCM = a * b. Ok? First of all, you have to remember this formula. Suppose you are given HCF and asked what are the two numbers? So whatever HCF is given, what will be the two numbers? ax * bx ok? Someone might have given the value of a also.
He might have also given the value of b.
So there will be two numbers, what will they be? ax and bx. If you want to find HCF of fractions then you are given two numbers pq like 2 3 4 5 in p over q form. So these became fractions. If you want to find their HCF, then what is the formula for HCF? is the numerator which is p * q of both, right? Find the HCF of p1 * p2. Find the LCM of Q1 and Q2. So HCF of numerator and LCM of denominator. If you apply this one, HCF will come out.
If you want to find the LCM of these fractions then put the LCM. LCM & HCF of numerators and denominators.
What is the formula to remember this? What's the trick to remembering it? If fraction K comes. If HCF is asked then HCF will have to be kept. HCF is what you will put on top. Ok? So the numerators will have the numerator above them. The denominator will be below.
