D4vd Court Update: Trap Lore Ross & Mark The Shark (Evidence Revealed)

[00:00:01]I'm at the David court case hearing. We just came from another trial preliminary hearing. Uh they're talking about the you know the the next dates going on with the discovery. We have 40 terabytes of footage being uploaded since last Thursday that haven't finished being uploaded. But I'm here now with Mark the Shark. And Trouble Ross man. Trouble Ross and Mark the Shark together outside the courthouse with Young Camoman. It's uh it's a scary sight. So, what was your feelings being in that courtroom today?

[00:00:34]I would say it wasn't quite as chilling as the previous uh instances of being in the courtroom. I feel like the last time I was here there was some very damning and explosive information about the illegal videos on his phone coming out and that really felt like a big bombshell. This one was a little bit more it felt a little bit more maybe like a couple chest moves. The kind of prosecution and the DA were going back and forth about dates, um some of the processes, some of the files that hadn't been transferred. They said only about 10 terabytes of 40 had been uploaded.

[00:01:01]So, this one felt like a bit more of a strategic uh back and forth rather than like drop the mic, can't believe he's got loads of CP on his computer and stuff. So, or his phone. So, this one felt more strategic, but it definitely felt interesting. I feel like you saw David in the courtroom. I feel like he started with his head kind of bowed, but he talked a little bit more than we'd seen him talk previously. I feel like David's lawyers were looking a little bit more confident than last time. Um but the DA still looking super super confident. So, I don't know it felt like a bit of a grandstand this one as far as like seeing what the vibes were, seeing the confidence that had maybe gone up for a few people, maybe gone down for some other people, but I thought it was really interesting. Mark, what were your thoughts? Same thing, you know, it's uh was a status hearing and so they moved the dates uh to June 17th, June 29th.

[00:01:47]And uh yeah, the prosecution looks ready. I mean, they even said, "Look, we're ready." Obviously, that's what they said.

[00:01:54]And the defense is it seems like they're trying to catch up. It seems like they're trying to get a lot of the discovery. They said that they don't even have the witness testimony and that they're trying to paint a picture and they're trying to paint a story of what the what the prosecution is trying to present to to them.

[00:02:12]So, I don't know. We're just going to have going to have to wait and see what what's going to happen, but it was it was it was like that. It was just you know, a routine hearing.

[00:02:22]I feel like the next few dates are going to be explosive though. I feel like there's going to be some big stuff. I think once the prosecution hand over the whole 40 terabytes, I think that's when the defense is going to start finding things and start picking holes and saying, "Okay, what about this?" And that's I think it's really going to heat up at that point. So, I wouldn't be surprised once they get all that info and they start picking holes in it, that's when we start seeing some real back and forth. Okay. Okay. So, when I was looking at the defense, man, the defense was kind of just laid back with their arms crossed kind of like looking like a boss like, "Yeah, the prosecution, go ahead. Talk your stuff.

[00:02:53]Pop your stuff." But like how do y'all feel about the defense team's attitude during this court hearing?

[00:02:59]Man, I would say the defense they seem more confident than last time. I feel like they were playing it a little bit cooler. They weren't getting blindsided by new evidence and new information and you know, sort of low-key like, you know, in previous instances it felt almost a bit embarrassing for the defense to have like these big surprises dropped on them in court. We didn't see that this time. It felt a little bit more strategic. So, it felt like the defense they seemed more confident to me. Um I'd be curious to know what Mark thinks, but I feel like they seemed more confident. You know, I'm not going to lie like David's lawyer I see her in the hallway and she kind of she kind of stared me down a little bit. She smiled at the end, but she kind of I don't know. [laughter] I was like, "Ooh, I might be in trouble with Blair Berk."

[00:03:36]So, so what do you think the lawyer was thinking about Trapp, man? What do you think she was thinking?

[00:03:40]>> I think she might have been thinking about last time we was here we was talking about how bad David's haircut was. So, you remember and then they filed a motion for him to get a haircut. And he had a haircut. His hair was looking shorter this time. So, Uh-huh. wonder if his lawyer was thinking, "Ah, this is that troublemaker that be that be doing too much." I don't know. I mean, if anything, you're giving him a good suggestion to get to get his hair cut, you know? You don't want to be in contempt of court with a bad haircut. I think I might already be in contempt of court with a with a crazy haircut. I'm not going to lie to you. But, uh Mark, what were your thoughts on on the sort of whether the defense was with their energy? Yeah, their energy was pretty Yeah, yeah, they looked a little bit more confident. Uh but, they did seem uh like they wanted more time. They wanted more of preparation. They wanted more of of the evidence. And which I didn't know that they didn't even have the witness testimony. So, um the judge and the prosecution are saying, "Let's do this. Let's move forward. This isn't going to take years like like other court cases." Which was good to hear. I think the defense is going to have an uphill battle. They're going to try to I don't know what they're going to do, how they're going to spin this. With all the evidence, what are they going to do? What are they going to say? How do they spin this? I don't know.

[00:04:46]Yeah, I feel like for me, I I do feel a little bit like we've seen it so much.

[00:04:50]We've seen so so many hints of this damning evidence, illegal videos, blood in the garage, Beck booking an Uber from her house to his house. But, I do think we're going to really see like they got to have a good defense. Blair Berk, she ain't she ain't worth all that money for nothing. I feel like she going to come up with something. They're going to get creative. The evidence is so damning, they're going to need to get creative to whip up something that's going to even allow them to explain some of this stuff away because it's just it just seems unfathomable that you could explain it when they when, you know, David first got arrested, his lawyers made it very clear. They said, "You know, we feel the evidence will prove our client did not murder Celeste." And it just makes you think, "Well, okay, like looking at the evidence we got, like I can't see another alternative theory." So, I'm very excited to hear what they say. I do feel like a lot of people are drawing parallels with the O.J. case. And I feel like, you know, it seemed for a minute O.J. had insurmountable evidence and uh you know, trail of blood and the bloody glove and the Bronco and all this stuff. But, you know, in the end, his legal team were able to come up with something that just about convinced that jury. And I don't want to see it. Personally, I don't want to see David slip away through a technicality. But, you know, as somebody that follows this case closely, I would like to see what his lawyer's strategy is, at least so I can even try and poke some holes into it.

[00:06:04]But, um it it's it's really hard to think like, what are they actually going to try Like, what's their angle going to be? Like, how are they going to try and explain this? So, yeah, I'm I'm definitely really eagerly anticipating their breakdown once they've got all of that 40 terabytes worth of stuff. I wonder whether they'll push back in June. You know, there was talk of like oh, you know, they're they don't want to delay this indefinitely. They don't want to just keep kicking this down the road forever. But, at the same time, 40 terabytes is a lot to get through. I don't know how quick it would take me to get through. If I was doing my my my little Dirk investigation with 40 terabytes of info, I think it's going to take me a minute to get through that.

[00:06:38]So, But, I mean, who really knows what's going to be on 40 terabytes of info? And maybe they just want everything. They want his iCloud, his brother's iCloud, sister's iCloud, the family's iCloud, management's iCloud. Who knows all of the information that's going to be on this iCloud? I think they just want all the evidence so they don't have to like re- revisit this type of conversation later on during the trial. Yeah, I always feel like it's quite misleading when they talk about file sizes. They're like, "Oh, there's 40 terabytes of data." Like, that could be He might have the whole SpongeBob box set in 4K >> [laughter] >> up on his hard drive taking up some space. Taking up some space. I'm being flippant, but like, you know, we don't we really don't know. And a lot of people are saying that, you know, there's 40 terabytes of of child illegal stuff. There's no way. There there there there there's not even that much on planet Earth.

[00:07:22]>> I wouldn't know, right? But, like, I'm [laughter] assuming there ain't that much on planet Earth. I hope there's not that much. If there is, somebody If somebody somebody got to die. But, I would say that I feel like there is probably a lot of irrelevant stuff on that drive. There's probably a lot of pictures. There's probably a lot of things that are relevant. But, I do wonder what proportion of the evidence will actually end up being what's brought into court by the prosecution. I do wonder if right now the uh realistically, they're probably wasting some time right now going back and forth about certain things that probably aren't going to get included.

[00:07:48]There ain't no way the jury's going to sit through 40 TB of information. I don't think we're going to see all of that brought to trial. I feel like they're probably still calling a bit of a bluff right now as far as the prosecution kind of having this thing of oh, there's so much information. It's overwhelming how much information we got against him, but like I feel like with, you know, a decent selection of really solid evidence, that's probably all they're going to need. So, it's kind of like just start really high and then we'll just lower it as the trial goes.

[00:08:12]>> I wonder what Mark thinks, but I I do feel like I don't I've not seen any indication from the prosecution that like at this stage they haven't been really specific. They keep saying they got all this stuff, 40 TB, they got the police reports, but I haven't seen the prosecution suggest like, "Okay, the it's these specific things that are really important to us." It feels like right now they're still kind of treating all this massive evidence as equal, and that's definitely not going to be the case when it comes to trial. There's probably going to be a few really key things like the blood in the garage, the DMs between them discussing sex that are probably going to completely cook him, but I feel like right now it's almost like they're playing this game where it's like they don't even want to let on of the specific things that they think are the best cuz the the defense are being bamboozled by all this stuff. They can't They've got to try and work out what's even relevant. Um but what do you think, Mark, as as far as like the massive evidence and maybe what they'll end up using? Yeah, definitely. I mean, with the court documents that came out uh a few weeks ago, they it did have um talks about Plan B, abortion, pregnancies, sex, and uh I think that's going to be uh huge in this case. The conversations between David and Celeste Rivas, right?

[00:09:17]Uh and with that amount of evidence and that amount of TB that is there, I mean, who knows how much uh more text messages are going between them back and forth. You know, I'll pick you up, I'll meet you there, I'll do this, I'll do that, you know, uh that's going to be interesting for me to see what they more have or if they have like call logs, voicemails, because there is supposedly there's a a voicemail that Celeste Rigas recorded with David in a music video that is very heartbreaking.

[00:09:49]And maybe we'll see that in here. I'm going to be I'm going to It's going to be interesting for me to see what his music and the evidence is going to show and if it matches up with what his music and his lyrics are to what the evidence is is going to show. I think that's going to be huge. Yeah, that's a really good point cuz like I've seen so many music videos of his that just seem to have very very dark parallels to what ended up happening.

[00:10:11]You know, he's got a music video where somebody's getting dragged and put in a trunk of a car. He's got a music video where a young girl is being, you know, having her arms kind of sliced off. It's very very dark and I I I'd be surprised if they didn't introduce it, but a lot of that stuff was put out before Celeste was killed allegedly. So, you know, it's circumstantial, but at the same time I think it paints a picture especially in the court of public opinion just as far as the types of stuff this guy was ruminating about and unfortunately what ended up happening, but very very exciting man. Camel, what are your kind of final thoughts on on what you saw today and what you think's going to happen in future? Cuz you know me and you going to be down here again in future. Oh yeah, man. We're we're we're we're we're covering the case, man. This is breaking news from Camel Trap and my man Mark. But I think ultimately this case is going to be a very interesting one. I think the defense has some firepower in their arsenal as as well as the prosecution. It's going to be going back and back mano y mano, Mike Tyson versus Evander Holyfield. At this point I I I think the prosecution got them cooked, but it looks like the defense got something in their book. And a question I have is all of these, you know, texts about abortion pills and having sex and doing all of that, this is still against the law. So, like is that a potential separate court case even if, you know, he is found out not guilty for the murder of Celeste?

[00:11:29]>> No, one of the charges in this, he's got three charges. One of them's uh I guess uh I don't know the exact wording of it.

[00:11:36]>> Dealing with a minor. Yeah.

[00:11:38]>> and I believe one of them is like uh tampering with an investigation because she was a witness in an investigation of the crimes against her as a minor, if that makes sense. Like the cops were interviewing her trying to interview her about her being groomed by this adult.

[00:11:51]So, there's them three charges and I'm pretty sure they're all tied concurrently. So, it's like he's going to be on trial for all of those. So, I think they'll probably prove no matter what >> Yeah, those two charges is already He was already in a relationship. They had the plan B conversation. So, he's already cooked there. We're just really here for did he murder her or not? Yeah.
