Treat that account the way the Sumerians did and the picture changes. They did not see themselves as having grown in Mesopotamia. They saw themselves as having moved into it from somewhere that no longer exists in any form the modern world can locate. The genetic ghost has no clear address. The giants, the gods, and one line from Gilgamesh.
