The video provides a clear explanation of sonic booms but wraps a routine military event in the unnecessary sensationalism typical of "prepper" channels. It is essentially a basic physics lesson disguised as a national emergency to drive engagement.

THIS STORY HAS QUICKLY GONE NATIONALAdded:
Hey guys, what's going on? My name is Louis and God bless to every single one of you. So, we have a big breaking news coming out of South Carolina. Thousands of people reported hearing a loud boom sound. Now, some people were saying it was an earthquake.
Other people were saying that it was a meteor.
But, we have some breaking news updates coming out today and they are saying that this is a sonic boom that a thousand people heard. Now, this thing was so loud. I mean, it was like it sounded like a a thunder, but I mean, this thing was brutal.
Again, you had people sharing videos and um again, you got some of these you know, security cameras that captured the boom sound and cats, dogs, car alarms, I mean, everything just started just going nuts. All right, so yeah, we're going to see what's going on here and they are saying that over 100,000 people heard this sound.
Um So, the question is a sonic boom is a basically it's a military aircraft and it seems like they were doing some drill. They were doing some exercise and yeah, they heard that sonic boom just rattling um people's windows and stuff. Other people were saying it was so powerful they felt it in their chest. That's how powerful it was. All right, so we're going to see what's going on with this news. Before I start, do me a favor, hit that thumbs up, hype this video and for those of you that want to help and support the channel, we do have the cash app link and the PayPal link in the comments box and also description box. Thank you again for your support, guys and we are still working on the Bibles. A lot of people requested free Bibles. We're going to be sending Bibles to many many people out there. You don't have to pay for shipping or handling. It's absolutely free. And a lot of these Bibles are brand new. So, we're going to be sending out Bibles. Just give us some time.
Um we're going to get the big envelopes.
And um again, we're going to start uh sending a lot of Bibles to many many many people out there. And um yeah, we're going to uh you know, send them pretty soon. So, I will keep you updated on that. All right. So, boom shakes South Carolina rattling Columbia and raising question about the cause.
Now, it says here, a loud booming noise startled many many South Carolina residents as they were getting home from work late Thursday afternoon, raising question about what caused the sound and shaking that hit part of Columbia. And here's the thing, guys. There's been a lot of military activity going on. And uh again, Nevada, all them earthquake. I just feel like underground, they're testing something. Possibly some very powerful equipment. And then you got military operation like doomsday planes and stuff like that. You got nuke sniffer. You got F-16, F-15. So, a lot of these stuff are happening.
The US Geological Survey reports that the phenomenon is consistent with a sonic boom. So, it's not a meteor.
And it's not an earthquake. All right.
So, it's a sonic boom instead of an earthquake like those that have been recorded in the state this year.
You know, to be honest, I never knew that earthquake could do like booming sound. Uh again, you know, I never experienced an earthquake, never been in an earthquake region, uh but uh people are saying that you could hear like really loud boom sound um when earthquake occurs. Or you could see like uh like like these colorful lights in the sky, which is methane gas that's being released from tectonic plates. See, stuff like that uh again, I'm not new to it. I live in Florida, so if you ask me about hurricanes, again, I know a lot about hurricanes and and I lived in Puerto Rico, those Caribbeans, they get hit with a lot of hurricanes.
It says here, the sonic boom can occur when aircraft or other rapidly moving object exceed the speed of sound. Man.
So, the booming noise and rapidly sparked a flurry of social media post and neighborhood emails after 5:00 p.m.
The geological survey issued a notice.
All right, so the USGS agency put out the notice.
Um about a sonic boom in the area Thursday night. Now, I did post a video last night and but uh there was no updates like what caused it. But all this information came out late last night on Thursday. But uh a lot of people, like I said, uh thought it was an earthquake. The USGS said it's not earthquake. There was no earthquake in South South Carolina.
Um so, a lot of people were trying to get answers like what's going on here. What is going on? To me, it sounded like a big like a loud shotgun. It's like It's like, you know, turning turning on your PV speakers and just having a microphone next to a shotgun while you fire it. It sounded just like that. So, I mean, it was pretty loud. It was pretty loud.
[clears throat] Um the boom was centered in the St. Andrews area of Columbia, the United States Geological Survey reports. Now, it occurred at about 5:24 p.m. Eastern time, according to the South Carolina Emergency Management Division. The sonic booms can sound like thunder.
Yeah, but this one here this one here would scare you. It's like, you know, when again, you are relaxing and everything just, you know, you know, resting and then someone open the door and then you're like, "Whoa, you scared me." You know, it Well, it's something like that. You know, I mean, you could be relaxing and stuff like that and then you hear that boom sound.
Um so, the sonic boom can sound like thunder, according to the US Air Force.
These booms are caused by an object moving faster than sound, about 750 mph.
Man.
750 mph at sea level, the Air Force says.
You know, I think it'd be nice that they give a heads-up to the people in South Carolina, say, "Hey, we're going to be doing some um some um some some military aircraft stuff, so you might hear some sonic boom." Next time, I'm Again, I think it's good to, you know, give a heads-up, so that way people won't get spooked or again, you never know, this could cause anxiety or scare people.
Uh it says here, "An aircraft traveling through the atmosphere continuously produces air pressure waves similar to the water waves caused by ship's bow, according to an Air Force description of sonic booms. When the aircraft exceeds the speed of sound, these pressure waves combine and form shock waves which travel forward from the generation or release point.
Give me a second here, guys.
Yeah, so stuff like this is uh you know, again, sonic boom is something that's uh very powerful, extremely powerful.
You know, it's something that's uh I you know, it's amazing that us human we uh again, we have the ability, technology to build stuff like this. It's just amazing, you know, uh all that's, you know, power, uh all that uh you know, horsepower or miles per hour that uh put into a aircraft.
But uh yeah, this is all the information here, guys. This is basically all the information. So, Calif- uh South Carolina uh again, updates, this is not an earthquake or a meteor. Now, I did mention that it was a meteor cuz a lot of people were saying it, a couple of sources, but the USGS and the Navy came out and said, "Yeah, this is uh again, this was us. My bad.
This was us."
All right, so once again, the boom shakes South Carolina, rattling Columbia, and raising questions about the cause. Now, they are saying that it was over 100,000 people in Carolina that felt this.
That's again, that's a lot. That is a lot. And they said there were videos like the door cam, uh the security cameras. And I seen I think I seen like maybe 10 videos, and I couldn't believe how loud that thing was, but um again, I'm just glad that everyone's okay. And um but again, like I said, I think next you know, next time it's good to notify the public.
It's good to notify them or send like some kind of text saying, "Hey, we're going to be testing our aircraft. You might hear some sonic booms. Don't be afraid. This ain't no war." I mean, it's good to notify the public. Anyway, guys, I'm going to end it here, but thank you so much for watching. God bless you all.
Till next time. Later. Peace.
