NEXT BVR MISSILES to be added FOR OTHER NATIONS? Israel, Taiwan, India & MORE! - War ThunderAdded:
So, guys, to basically finalize all the videos that we're talking about new missiles that could be added in the future after the ones we have. We already talked about the Russians, the Americans, the Europeans, the Chinese, and now we're going to wrap it up with some countries here and there that do have certain missiles that could be added in the future or right now, to be honest, that we're not in the other lists. Okay, guys? So, let's get going.
So, we start off with the I-Derby-ER for Israel. Yes, we already have that missile in the game. Yeah, but for the Spyder system, not really for an aircraft, right? The idea here, guys, was that the Derby was having some troubles with certain things.
Specifically, the idea here was to actually have um the dual-pulse engine. Uh the ability to actually have a more potent engine that extended the range of the missile.
That's the major idea that you're going to see here. Although, uh of course, it will have, you know, a better active radar seeker that would make it have better ECCM than the normal Derby, the main thing is the propulsion. An improved motor, which will extend the range by over 35% they say, with a dual-pulse solid fuel rocket motor motor. Just to reiterate again, remember the um dual-pulse is that type of rocket engine that has basically a second kick to the engine after the first one already shut off a while after with an algorithm calculating when it's the best optimal condition for you to actually have the missile igniting its second stage. So, it will ignite its first stage, then it will run out of fuel on that stage, glide to the perfect position where the second stage will burn, you know, later. Okay? That means that it expands a lot by a lot the no escape zone and make sure that not only extends the range, but also make sure that in the very late stages of the flight, the missile has a lot of capabilities of getting targets that are moving around, okay? So, this would be it. I mean, it is basically the same missile, the I-Derby yard that we have in the game, just with a better seeker that I don't think it would that does have any difference in the game, but the main thing at war pulse engine which would make you have a lot more range. Then we go for Taiwan. Taiwan does have its own domestic Fox 3 missile, the TC-2, sometimes called the Sky Sword 2 missile. Tien Chien I don't know how to pronounce that, sorry. 2. But basically, guys, this is the counterpart that the Taiwanese built of something like the AIM-120, okay? So, it has basically two variants out of it.
So, the first one is just called TC-2.
This would be a Mach 4 plus capable missile that would have around 60 km of range. So, yeah, pretty good, right? And also Fox 3 missile, okay? So, basically, it has a data link system with inertial navigation up to when it goes active and then it would actually, you know, use that active radar homing to actually get to the target around 30 Gs of turn. So, very, very similar to early on AIM-120s like the AIM-120 As and Bs, okay? That you can expect on that. Many aircraft, of course, I didn't say anything about that in the Derby, but of course, every single aircraft that Israelis use can use the Derby. In this case, it is pretty much the same. Any, you know, Taiwanese aircraft that it is close to top tier would be able to use this. The F-CK-1 when it's eventually added. A Mira- the Mirage, you know, sorry. The F-16s and whatnot, okay?
Then they have the upgraded version, which is the TC-2C, which is the basically upgrading it on the um range and also the seeker itself improving ECCM. So, there is a bunch of stuff, but the main thing is improved electronic components and an improved rocket motor. So, with this version, it is a faster missile and it get can get up to 100 km of range. Uh still uses a normal single-stage solid propellant rocket motor. So, it doesn't change much. It would still turn the same as the 30G, you know, more or less of the M-120, more or less, of course. And also, guys, of course, same data link inertial and active at the very late stages of the flight with a PD seeker, normal PD, no eyes or anything, but 9.3 detection range with improved ECCM, okay? So, basically, it's a small improvement there to actually be able to carry more range into the missile. Then we go for Japan, guys. The Japan does have the AAM-4 in the game right now that entered in service in the late '90s, but there is an upgraded version out of it, which is called the AAM-4B.
So, basically here, guys, we have a 2010 version of this missile that it's upgraded with over a one major thing, electronic components, okay? Uh with that, it actually has an I A S seeker.
Uh and because of the new components and new algorithms and everything, it will have a better range. But the better range, it is like saying the difference between the AAM-20C5 in range and the D model. You know, it doesn't really change anything. Uh it's just going to have a little bit more of an efficient flight path to actually have a lower drag, maybe uh overall, uh so that it can actually attack targets in a longer range. So, it does technically have more range, but it's pretty much the same missile. So, same engine performance, same, you know, overall drag, same overall everything, but with an AESA seeker. That's the major idea here. So, I don't think it would bring anything too crazy to the table over here. You would still turn the same as the M4. It basically is the same missile as the M4, uh but with, you know, an AESA seeker.
So, better ECCM, better anti-chaff, you know, better uh overall capability of tracking, everything with that, but it doesn't change really the missile itself, okay? So, uh just remember that.
Then, guys, we throw a curveball on here with a missile that should be added to the British, but it is not an an European missile, let's say, okay? The Astra from India. So, this missile could be added to certain Indian aircraft when they get added in the future uh for something like an SU-30 MK1 or something like that that maybe gets added eventually for the British there.
Uh but overall, guys, it would be a very very interesting missile to actually see. Why is that? Well, it is a very different missile because it's a domestically built Indian missile, okay?
So, the idea here is obviously to have the same type of performance that we already talked about in other missiles.
Uh so, it is a Fox Three, so it has an active radar homing.
Uh also with a you know, data link, inertial navigation throughout the flight, and of course, active radar homing later. It even has a capability, but many missiles in the game, I think already can have that, but um this missile, I'm 100% sure that it could. Uh he has a home-on-jam uh you know, capability, which means that it can actually jam like home on the jamming uh of an aircraft, the ECM of an aircraft, which is pretty cool, right? So, uh this aircraft uh this missile uh as well will reach a Mach 4 plus speeds, Mach 4.5. Uh it has a maximum range of above 100 km. I mean, more or less, it would be around 90 km range, you know?
Uh Uh so uh yeah, overall pretty interesting smokeless solid propellant, of course. Just a normal missile with active radar homing. The turning capability is supposed to be between 30 and 40 km, okay? So, it is a missile that it's very much comparable to certain missiles that we have in the game with a pretty good range. So, it would be kind of a top-tier missile. It is a very modern missile. And also uh it doesn't bring anything too different in the regards of uh you know, energy management or an IIR seeker doesn't bring anything like that, but it is still going to be one of the best missiles that we would have in the game inferiorly, okay, guys? And there is even um other versions that they are developing. Uh not going to talk too much about them. There is the Mark II and Mark versions that are being developed that we might see in the future. And these missiles would, of course, uh introduce technologies that are being introduced in other missiles in other places, and we might see them in the future like for example an IIR seeker on the Mark together with a dual-pulse um rocket motor, increasing heavily the range at up to 160 km. And the IIR seeker just being a better way better seeker, right?
And also the Mark uh which would basically have a ramjet, okay? So, being very similar to something like the Meteor missile or AIM-120 or something like that, right?
So, uh basically it would have a solid fuel duct uh ramjet and an IIR seeker as well, right? It would still turn the same and stuff, but it would have an enormous amount of range, overpassing 200 or even 300 km in the higher altitudes fired from higher altitudes and faster aircraft, okay? So, uh overall um not only we can have the normal Astra, but the Astra Mark is dual-pulse IIR, and the Mark could be added in the future as well when they get into service in certain aircraft that we get maybe in the British uh tech tree, okay, guys? And these are all it, guys. These are the missiles that you should expect, more or less, uh for the future for nations that are not the nations that we already talked about before. Nothing too crazy, let's be honest. I mean, specifically for the uh the Japanese, for example, it is pretty much the same. Uh the Israelis, I mean, it is just a dual-pulse version, so wouldn't bring too like it's not that OP. The TC-2s are not that OP, so overall, I mean, even the original Astra, they're not OP missiles. They could be added, but right now, of course, the Mark 3 Mark 2 of the Astra could be added in the future.
Well, not right now, but still, I think it is pretty cool, okay? So, basically, this is it. I hope you enjoyed. Make sure to subscribe, leave a like, leave a comment, and like
