Chronic ignoring in relationships often signals emotional immaturity rather than temporary stress; when someone consistently ignores you, it reveals more about their character than your worth, and you deserve a partner who makes time for you and communicates openly.

Steph is getting ready for therapy!Added:
Got an airport here so I heard a plane overhead.
They're really low down here, too.
I'm about to go to my therapy appointment.
So I like to take these little guys out because they take nutrients from the actual plant.
Hi.
Just getting ready for therapy.
Well, it's a Zoom therapy meeting so I don't I don't have to actually go anywhere.
You know.
Glad to be back in school.
I had the same therapist for like over a year and then um she moved to a new practice so now I'm hooked up with a new counselor.
I think therapist.
I think they're actually like therapists, not psychologists.
But, I figured I'd hop on it been a few days.
Oh, wait.
How are you doing today?
Rose bushes doing doing good.
That's good.
It's always good to be doing good.
There's so many that aren't.
Looking at my Mandevilla.
She is doing so good.
It actually rained out here the last few days.
Hi.
I'm just hopping on a few minutes before my um therapy session.
Oh.
Did you guys see me jump?
This plant just poked my side. I thought it was like a uh spider or bug.
Felt creepy crawly.
Oh my gosh. Dude, so cool.
Yeah, that is super cool. That sucks.
I'm sorry.
I think it's about 80° out here right now.
So.
Um my favorite plant that I have is probably going to be my lemongrass.
I've just had it for so long.
Which it looks pathetic right now.
It's not coming back good this year.
But I've had it for like over 10 years. I think about 13 or 15 years.
And I mean she usually gets huge.
But my second favorite plant that I just got a few months ago is this Well, actually it's been like 8 months now, but is this sweet almond bush.
It doesn't grow almonds, but it's like a a flower. Thank you. Appreciate it.
Yeah, I love my plants.
I've always been a big plant girl. I don't know where I get it from. Um I mean my mom and grandma, they liked plants, too.
But they would do more like fruits and vegetables.
And I like that kind of stuff, too.
Don't get me wrong. But I'm just really into like ornamental plants more than like potted plants and I've always kept a little hoard of plants everywhere I go.
Um that's a hard one.
>> [laughter] >> I'd say ignore them back.
Um it takes patience to do that because you're so mad, right?
But sometimes giving people a taste of their own medicine and then whenever they react or they're like, "Oh, why are you ignoring me?" or "Oh, why are you saying that like that?"
then remind them that you know, well, this is how it feels, you know, you you did it to me.
And also, um when you start conversations with a spouse, if you start out with I feel like it doesn't make them feel like you're attacking them so much. And you have to start out with that though.
So, good luck with that. That's a hard one. I've been there.
My um ex-husband actually is good at icing people out and then like love bombing whenever you're about to go or gone.
Anyhow, I'm just hopping on here real quick, guys, cuz I have therapy in like about 6 minutes. Um I'm doing a Zoom call therapy session.
Um hi from New Zealand. Glad you guys are dropping in.
I have mandevillas here in the background.
And I'm just showing how good those are doing.
Um, I got a sweet almond bush over there.
It's not quite blooming yet, but it will get there.
Um, it just started really warming up like last month.
Then I'll show you my lemongrass I was showing everybody here.
It's kind of starting to come back. So, I was just weeding that.
Um, and then I have like my cuttings over here. Let me just flip it.
So, I have some basil and eggplants.
And little baby squash there.
It really needs to be planted.
So, um, I learned when what what you learned when when I got ignored.
Um, I learned that that's emotional immaturity kind of coming out of people when they do that.
I mean, sometimes people are tired, but if it's a pattern, then then that's speaking of more.
There's more to that than just they had a long day and they're tired.
Um, if they're chronically ignoring you, like they can't even put their phone down to like say hi when you get home from work, then, you know, that's a pattern. And um, I'll say I'll say that if you go on living your life and doing the things that you enjoy and kind of getting back into yourself, because you probably lost yourself some um to a certain degree trying to get that other person's attention.
And like worried about am I wrong? Am I doing something wrong? Those kind of things.
Um You kind of lose yourself a little bit if that makes sense.
So um I would definitely say try to try to just you know back off give them space.
Um you can also try to talk to people.
Sometimes people you know we underestimate the value of just talking to our spouses and our boyfriends and girlfriends or fiancés or whatever.
You know cuz that's that's a good thing too. Um Sometimes people have stuff on their mind or you know they they might be going through something that they're embarrassed to tell you about themselves and you're thinking they're mad at you.
But a lot of time if someone ignoring you regularly that speaks of them and I'd say what I learned from being ignored is that life is too short for that.
Um You you don't deserve that. You deserve somebody that is going to talk to you um express themselves, make time for you. Those are important things to nurture you.
And um you know if someone's not wanting to do that what I did anyways is I just left.
I've been married for 13 years and I left my husband like three times because he started to get down that pattern and now he has like abandonment issues and some of his own stuff that he deals with.
Um and his dad too was is like he's a great guy and all and I mean he's a good provider and he was smart and got educated but very emotionally immature.
And a lot of Americans are and freezing people out is part of emotional immaturity. So I would say you learn more about the other person than yourself when they're ignoring you.
Um but you can also learn to tap back into the things that you love.
Um I live in Florida.
I don't know much about apple trees.
They do not grow here [laughter] at all.
Oranges, yes. And I know a lot about orange trees but these plants are looking healthy. Thank you.
Yeah, I love fruit trees. I used to help take care of a fruit orchard when I lived in like cult.
No, I will pray for you. I mean it's really hard.
It really is, you know, and usually people like that I imagine was he like extra charismatic when you first met him?
You know, was he like almost like just all over you too much?
Yeah.
Yeah, I know a lot about like orange trees, plum trees, um citrus citrus likes to be beat up or grafted.
Um to be sweeter, likes a lot of sun.
Um but I don't know much about apple trees.
That sounds yummy though.
I would love to have an apple tree.
Ooh, oh, I got to go, guys. Um, I have my therapy in 1 minute. So, I'll get back on later, though, when I'm done with therapy. It's like 45 minutes long.
Okay.
It's really great meeting new friends.
Um, please like, subscribe. I'm building my channel back up.
Um, and it's much appreciated. All right, I got to go. All right, I'll see you guys in just shortly.
Bye.
Oh, all right.
