Hermes Agent Workspace is INSANE 🤯 (FREE!)Added:
Hermes workspace is one of the most powerful tools you can use with Hermes agent right now. So right now most people are using Hermes agent inside the terminal is pretty bad to use, bad UI.
Most people don't even know how to use terminal properly anyway and they're just typing messages into a terminal getting answers and moving on. And that's like having a full team of AI employees and only letting one of them actually work. Today I'm going to show you Hermes Workspace. It's free and it turns your Hermes agent into a full command center with memory skills, a live dashboard, schedule tasks, and the ability to run AI agents working together at the same time. And I'll show you how to set it up in minutes with no coding, no technical experience required. I'll even show you the swarm mode that lets you run unlimited agents in parallel. And I'll show you how to give your agents tasks on a camb board and check back once the work is done. I also show you the conductor which lets you send a mission and lets your agents figure out exactly how to get it done.
By the end of this video, your Hermes agent will feel totally different. It'll be more powerful than ever. It'll be doing real work for you every day. Let's get into it. So, today we are going to be testing out Hermes Workspace, which is a powerful free dashboard as an agent command center for your AI agents. I'm going to show you exactly how to use it, how it works, step by step, why it's so powerful, how you can manage your agents with it, etc. So, if you want to get started with this, you can just copy and paste this command into your terminal, right? So, you can go into your terminal here and you just copy and paste this command. I've already done that, so I'm not going to do that right now. And then what we're going to do from here is we're going to go into uh I'm going to go into Hermes and just say launch Hermes workspace because I've already installed it. So, we'll plug that in.
Now this is actually hosted at a local address and you might be wondering okay why would you use Hermes workspace instead. Whilst that's installing let me walk you through it. By the way I'm using our alpha with Hermes agent which is a free API would recommend. I'm testing out today. It seems pretty good.
Does AB says does Hermes have a builtin native dashboard? So it does but you can't chat with it directly. You can't really manage your agents properly inside it. Let me show you an example.
So if we go into terminal here, the native dashboard for Hermes agent, you can run it using the terminal command Hermes dashboard. So if we type in that, it will actually run the Hermes web UI, right? Like this. This is what it looks like. Okay, but the problem is when you're using Hermes native dashboards, it's not it's useful, but it's not at the same time because you can't talk to it. The UI is not that nice. It can get a bit messy. So you can see for example here we put a task on the canban and it didn't work and it's just not fully optimized in the way that I think Hermes workspace is. So I would prefer to use Hermes workspace instead of that. So you can see here it's beginning to set up the Hermes workspace right here. And basically in terms of what this is Hermes agent is like the employee right that employee is the AI agent but Hermes workspace is the desk where your employee sits. Now, one sec. I'm just going to change the model. By the way, if you ever need to change a model inside Hermes, just type forward/model like this. And then we can switch over to GPT 5.4 like this, right? And then we can say continue. So, it's a free open-source app. That means you can use it for free and just give your AI agents a proper home because the terminal is okay, but if you're just chatting with your agent inside here, it's not that manageable. It's not that useful. So, you want to think of it like this, right? Most people use AI like a calculator. So they type in a question, it spits out an answer and you move on, right? And that's like buying a Ferrari and only using it to go to the corner shop. Hermes workspace turns your AI into something that drives itself to the shop, picks up what you need, comes back and puts it away. Right? So for example, if Hermes workspace, you can do you've got the chat, you got the memory, skills, terminal files, conductor, etc. Let me show you what that looks like. So you can see that set up right here. So if we go to our local host, which is localhost 3000, like this is Hermes agent workspace. You can see side by side which one is better. This one clearly. Right now if we go to this section Hermes world, we can actually game with the AI agent. Right. And there are people online who we can talk to and people using this right now which is pretty crazy stuff. So this is my AI.
This is literally my Hermes agent and it's just walking around in this virtual game 3D, right? You're not going to get that in the terminal. It's pretty crazy what you can do with this, right? And so compared to the terminal is way easier to manage, way easier to use and much nicer overall. So inside here, you could chat, you got memory, you got skills, you got terminal, files, conductor dashboard. Let me walk you through each one. So Hermes world is a game and you can use it over here as you can see. And you've actually got lots of AI agents inside here playing live which is pretty cool. Then if we go to the dashboard, this is basically where you can see for example what model you're using, how many API calls you've used, tokens, sessions, etc. Right now if you go to the chat you can actually talk with Hermes agent directly. So inside here you could say okay create a video with hyperframes short animation by AISO and you can see here I actually used hyperframes to generate the video using Hermes agent. So we can talk to Hermes agent inside the chat generate output.
So you can see for example here we've created this video using hyperframes and Hermes agent and it just created and coded locally right but it's a much nicer way and easier way to use AI agents rather than inside your terminal which is pretty cool then so you got that chat there and also inside here too is sometimes going to tell you to update additionally you got the files so over here what you can see is all your files so it's much more manageable to see everything that's done so you can see for example my hyperframes files inside the hyperframes folder, right? We can manage our AI agents inside one one workspace. I like that much more than just going directly to my Finder on Mac, right? I think it's a lot easier to just manage everything in one place. If we need to edit anything or change the code on anything, like for example, the config file or the skills or anything like that, I can quickly edit it in here, which is pretty cool. We've got the chat button at the bottom, so we can pull up Hermes anytime we want. And then we have the terminal here. Thiago says, "Which one is better, Hermes Workspace or AIUI?" If you are just using Hermes, then I would stick to Hermes workspace.
If you are using multiple agents, then you can use something like Aon UI. AON UI is really cool for managing your AI agents as well. I just I don't find it as interesting. That's the main thing.
It's not really built for Hermes agent.
The full power of Hermes agent. So, for example, if you're using Aon UI, it's like you can see it here. It's kind of like chat GBT but for your agents because you can talk inside your agents.
You can see the conversation etc. Right?
you manage your schedule task, everything else. But if you look at Hermes workspace, you've got so much more functionality inside there. So, for example, you can see that we've got the camb, we have the swarms, we have all the stuff that's unique to Hermes. It's built specifically for Hermes. And so, that's why I recommend using that instead. Now, let's have a look here. We have Dims who says how to set up hyperframes with Hermes. Pretty simple.
So, all you do is you would go over to hyperframes like this on the GitHub. You copy that. You go back into your Hermes workspace, chat inside, and just say set up Hermes with hyperframes. Right?
That's how you do it. Simple as that.
Right? If you want to install a new skill from GitHub, any sort of external UI, that's how you do it. And then also, if you scroll down here, it does give you like a quick command you can give to it, too. So, you can copy and paste this command from the GitHub, too. You can delete all that and just type in that inside your terminal, right? Not inside the chat. So, you just go inside your terminal, new window, paste that in.
Boom. That's how you do it, right? I prefer to just give it all the information from the GitHub because then sometimes it it messes up or installs things the wrong way or it gets confused. So that's why I give it the full context of all the GitHub when I'm using this, which you can get right here. But yeah, pretty powerful, amazing tool. Again, if you just want to see what we've done with Hyperframes, you can see the video right here that we generated. And you can connect this to HJN or whatever AI avatar platform you want to do as well if you want to avatar inside there. So then we also have the jobs section. So we can give jobs to our agent. These are scheduled tasks. So we give it a name. We give it a schedule.
We can set a custom schedule. We can add a prompt. We can add skills inside there too. And we can say where we want it delivered to. So do you want it delivered locally to Telegram, to Discord? Do you want to have a set amount of runs? So only run five times, for example, or do you want it to run every day forever? Right? Those are your options. Inside the camb section here, you can add and give your agents tasks.
Right? So you can say for example, okay, create an SEO calculator. You figure out the details. You assign it to an agent like this. Hit save changes and then it will go off and start working on that, right? And then you can move over. So you can assign it to your AI agents and then get tasked on like that. So just to recap, we've covered chat, we've covered the files, we've covered the terminal is where you can install hyperframe. You just paste in that command line like we were talking about. And then you've got the job section here. So you can set up scheduled tasks. You have the camb board where you can give tasks to your AI agent. So you can see this is running right now as I gave it the task which is pretty cool and then we can review it later. We also have the game where we can play with it. We can move around with our AI agents. You see here for example, yeah, we actually get like little quests and stuff like that which is pretty cool. Then we have the conductor. So this is like an office view where our team of AI agents can be managed inside one place. And again, you're not going to get any of that inside terminal. Compare the difference here. It's crazy. It's crazy. Everything is fully synced up from Hermes. And you can give it a new mission. So you can say, okay, here's a new mission. Go off, do this, right? And your AI agents will work together. Then we have the operations. So this is like a persistent agent team that works together. And finally, we have the swarm. Swarm is my favorite cuz it's like you've got, for example, I've got 17 agents, 17 profiles set up with Hermes, and I can just have them working all together, going off, and doing whatever they want. Right?
That's how it works. It's pretty amazing that you can do that. I don't know any other tool that makes it that easy to create agent swarms and to get them working together, but you can easily do that with Hermes. So, these are all the cool things that you can do with it. And then you got your memory. So, you can actually add context and memory to your agents. You got skills, your MCP and profiles, right? So, there's so much you can do with this. It's pretty amazing.
So, knowledge essentially means you can manage, okay, what's going on with your agent? What do they know about you? What profiles you have, etc. And then you got the settings here. So inside the settings section you can set up your models whether you want local models and it actually picks up everything you already have for example lama atomic chat news portal openai etc. You can set up custom models you can change your API keys you can add new ones etc. Then you got agent behavior so how many turns it creates and works before it gives up.
You got smart rooting so it can autoroot simple queries to the model. So this is pretty cool because then you can if you've got like um let's say for example you got GP 5.4 set up and you got claude right claude is much smarter. So you'd have claude as a main brain and then you auto route simple queries to your sub agents for example GT5. This is exactly it. This is exactly it. So ma'am says it possible to utilize both GT5.5 and two local models simultaneously for seamless switching. Yes. So you would enable smart routting here, right? You select which model you want to use for simple queries and then inside the model provider here, you can see we've got two local models. So we've got OAM running, we've got atomic chat and then we can we've got OpenAI as well. So we can have that exact setup. We've got 5.5 in OpenAI as a model provider and then we have OAM and atomic chat as a local models and then we use smart routting to auto route those together. Now I would confirm that with Hermes. So go inside the chat with Hermes, make sure it's set up and understands how to use that. So tell it for example, okay, use local models for the more the more like the boring tasks that are not that useful or that don't require a super smart brain and then use GPT 5.5 as a brain of the operation that controls everything and roots tasks to the local models. That's how I would look at it. You also got voice here. So you can set up your text to speech provider here. So you can set up Edge, 11 Labs, Open, etc. You have the display, so you can change the display and everything else. You can change the theme, so you can actually change the colors, which is quite nice.
I actually quite like the main one.
You've got the chat, so you can choose what you show inside the chat, too. And then you got notifications as well. So there's just so much you can do with this is pretty amazing and my favorite UI for using Hermes right now. So let's talk about some limited beliefs. Some people going to say, I'm not technical enough to use something like Hermes Workspace. Honestly, if you can copy and paste, you can do this, right? Hermes workspace is just installed with a single command that you paste into your terminal. That's it. It's just one line.
So, even if you've never touched code in your life, you can have this running up in 10 minutes. I've seen people inside the profit boardroom, some of them are like some of them are like 60 years old and they can easily set up something like this. Anyone can do this, right?
Some people say this is too expensive.
Hermes workspace is free forever. It's open source. It's free to use. You can use free APIs inside it like owl alpha hell alpha on open router. You can connect it to free local models like alarm as well which means that you can have a full command center with your AI agents for free. A gentic engineer says I like that green theme too. I'd agree.
Alternatively, should I configure a single agent switch between models and comfy UI? So comfy UI is going to use totally different models because it can generate for example like videos and images locally, right? So it's totally different. And Steven says so the free API is our alpha. Yeah, that's it. OWL space alpha. Other people say AI can't do real work. It just writes generic stuff. Let me show you an example of full website that we created that's better than most humans can do. Right?
And this was fully done with an agentic swarm inside Hermes workspace. So this is a full 50page website. Everything's internally linked, beautifully formatted, lots of nice FAQs, etc. Works perfectly running locally, coded locally using agent swarms, right? You can see it's even insert these nice tables and everything else. So when you give AI the right systems, it does work for you, right? Type in a question into chat sheet and getting a generic answer.
That's not how the pros are using AI, right? Hermes gives you aic memory, tools, skills, and the ability to take real actions. It can browse the web. It can write and run code. It can manage files. It can remember your business context, your tone of voice, your client's name. When you build the right system, the output is usually better than a human. Other people say, "I don't have time to learn this." But every hour you spend learning, this saves you 10 hours per week. And I know you're busy.
Every entrepreneur I speak to is busy, right? But if Hermes saves you two hours a day, that's 14 hours a week. That's 60 hours a month you get back. What would you do with an extra 60 hours? That's the way that I would look at it. It might take you an hour or so to learn Hermes agent, but it's 100% worth it. So that's basically it. The one the thing that I would look at is we've created the Goldie agent empire framework, right? So this is a five layer system for building an AI powered system. So first of all you got your command center. So you want to give your agent a home which is Hermes workspace and with a command center your AI has memory tools skills and a proper workspace. So you can install Hermes workspace and connect it to your AI provider. Then you have the brain right. So your agent needs to know your business before it can work for you. So you want to give it context. The way that I use this is I actually have Obsidian with OMI set up and then this understands me, my business context, everything else, right? And so it understands everything I do all day, writes notes with OMI, and then using those notes, my Hermes agent understands me better than I probably understand myself. Then you got the skills stack. So you want to give your agent the right capabilities. Now Hermes comes with 100 skills built in. But the question is, what skills do you actually need, right? So you want to identify five to 10 core skills that map directly to tasks your business does every single day. So for example an SEO agency will be like keyword research, content creation, link building, etc. So you want to identify your top 10 business tasks and map them to Hermes skills.
Then you got the automation engine, right? So you want to stop being the operator and become the architect. So for example, inside the swarm section here, one agent can research, one agent can write, one agent can edit, one agent can publish, and you stop being the person who does the work. you become the person who designs the system, right?
And so that's basically how this engine works with Hermes Workspace. We actually have a full guide and 100 prompts on how to use it inside the air profitable along with everything that I've covered today. But just to recap here, you've learned what Hermes workspace is, which is a free open source agent command center that gives your agent a real home with memory tools, terminal, and multi-agent capabilities. Why does it matter right now? because we're in the biggest technological shift since the internet and early movers will have the biggest advantage. We've talked about the wrong beliefs that are holding you back and the right beliefs that set you free. I've talked you through the Goldie agent empire framework. We've talked about how to install Hermes workspace and if you want the prompts, the road map and the full guide from today, you can get that inside the AI profit boarding. Right. So if we go to the classroom here then we go to new daily updates link in the comments description or just go to the air profitboarding.com to get access we have a full section on Hermes workspace how to set up for free with our alpha the desktop app roughly agent forms I update this with new daily guides also inside the community like I do a daily Q&A so I create a video where I cover your questions answer them in real time and basically help you as much as I can you can also ask questions inside the community and you get access to 3,000 members who are doing similar things to you.
