hard working guyAdded:
Good morning, guys. How you guys doing?
I hope you are well.
This is Saturday morning. Very beautiful day.
My beautiful pine tree.
I'm going to do um like a a brick patio.
But this exist patio the guy did it wrong.
2 years ago I fixed the walls for this guy like a linen wall.
And the guy just do a terrible job.
And he did a lower brick patio and then, you know, up the steps.
It's on more stoops and then another section of a a little spot so they can sit on whatever.
But yeah.
Um obviously I have to fix the uh redo the steps because the steps he put like a timber.
And I will show you guys when I get there.
I'm waiting for my for my hero.
Just about just on time. Good morning.
>> How you doing, mijo? Hi, dad.
Ready? Yep. Thank you. All right, that's the paperwork.
Nice. Thank you, mijo.
Okay, mijo.
Truck and trailer are stuck here.
I had it in the back.
I was testing the compactor. Compactor runs good.
But I don't have a lot of gas.
And you know, obviously it's been sitting there the whole week in the sun, so on the beginning doesn't want to start.
We want to put it over here.
Let me make a room.
Make a room here.
Put it right in the corner.
Put the handles this way.
Can you drag it, please?
I think it's I think it's more easier I think it is if I get the handle, yeah.
Or what What the How I got it, um yeah.
Let's check it out. Just yeah.
There you go.
That works well, amigo. Yeah.
Bring the spray with you, just in case it doesn't want to start.
Let's close the the doors.
Trailer's door and we're going to go pick up some material which is gravel.
Again, same spot, same place.
All right.
You're going to ready in We're going to get ready in and we see you there. See you. See you.
>> [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] >> All right, guys.
So, this is the patio that I was talking about.
Um like I said, like 2 year uh 2 years ago, uh this guy reached me and he asked me to redo the walls.
That's what I did for him.
All the way.
All the way to here, huh?
Okay, go.
Oh, yeah, you're going to need it. I'm going to need those.
So, this one, too, it was kind of leaning over this way.
I put it you know, the way it's supposed to be.
We planning to do this this land.
That's where he put the uh uh chairs and a table, picnic table and stuff, umbrella.
And over here, I'm going to do So, we're going to fix this.
You're going to concentrate to that in this part because in this situation right now, he all the water is going to the basement.
So, we're going to try to fix it and take the water out of here.
All right, Mijo.
Uh You got some Mr. Screwdrivers, Mijo?
>> [snorts] >> Let's see what I have.
What do I have in my bag?
I don't have the crushed can of Modelo anymore.
That's my good luck.
Here you go from there.
I don't know, Mijo.
Yeah.
Well, we have to clean it out because obviously they have the polymeric sand.
Come on, buddy, Mijo.
Let me see that chemical nice and rock and roll.
This is pure This is pure water, Mijo.
>> Boom box.
Yeah. Beautiful.
And rock and roll.
No trabajo.
No music, no work.
Okay.
We see you in a little while, okay, guys? See you. Bye.
>> [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] >> All right, guys. Um I'm going to show you the base here.
We finished pulling all the bricks and stuff.
My son is cleaning up right now. Just, you know, kind of quick clean.
Um and I was just digging around.
The guy The guy dropped off gravel here.
And I was looking at it.
He put enough, know, of stone.
That's what it's supposed to be. Um But I think the problem was he put a lot of uh loose stuff in the bottom.
Which is not bad, you know.
But the problem is he set up the base kind of not to pitch out of the house for some reason.
Because this time all the water as you see right here he put a lot of loose uh gravel that obviously doesn't compact.
And right here also I don't know if he did he did a horrible job here, man.
As you can see, this is step this is just showing like pitching down this way a lot.
And it was kind of dirty dirty job.
Yeah, so um Yeah, so all the water all the water he drained goes all the way down right into the this patio.
You know.
All the water pressure goes to this patio.
And obviously if you don't leave like a pitch out of the house, obviously he they just the water is sits here.
And with the snow and stuff, you know frost and everything, you know, kind of kind of a All right.
You know, um I laid the gravel.
And obviously I put water.
You know, just to settle couple half an inch maybe.
Water.
Run the compactor again.
Let me go.
Almost almost taco time.
Going to see where is the uh place where they say tacos around here.
Figure it out later.
Yeah.
Agua. Agüita.
>> [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] >> Hi guys. So, um we keep uh working here.
My son is still cleaning.
I'm going to be cleaning pretty soon after I'm done with this.
Okay, I'm going to show you guys how I do my job.
You know?
So, if I pull like a screen or gravel or anything, I just put my pipes.
And obviously, at certain point, I put one like to set up.
So, right here, obviously.
But, I have like a like a inch and a half feet, so it will be it's perfect. It's right there, so.
>> [clears throat] >> Bottom.
So, the way I do this job is just set one first, set up one, and then like set one in the middle, the way I want it to be, and then from that I go with it to the other one pipe.
So, the same height is this, obviously.
I put a level if I want a level, or if I want a little bit kind of pitching this way, the only thing I have to I lift up a little bit over here, so the water doesn't go too much for the wall.
And right here is level.
And all depends how I want it to go the pitch.
So, this one I put a little bit kind of a little bit lower, so all the water comes this way and come in this direction and go that way.
So, that's my plan.
Because, like I said, all the pressure, all the washer, the water pressure here is going down, and then all the water stays here.
So, I'm going to make sure doesn't stay kind of towards the wall, towards that side, and I want to run this way, and kind of from the middle here I want to the uh water runs out of the house.
So, yeah.
I'm just going to bring a little bit of the traffic bond, you know, the really finest stuff. That's what I like just to, you know, put it on the top. And then I'm going to start laying brick pretty soon.
Thank you, guys.
All right.
Okay, guys. So, like you guys see, I put a little bit of the finest stuff, you know, as you see over there, that's the pipe.
>> [music] >> And then, obviously, I'm just going to spread it over here.
That's what I do with my uh my base.
Okay.
I just follow my pipe.
I just leave some working a little bit >> [music] >> each in this way cuz the wall Yeah, I just do this with the finest stuff.
This is like a concrete.
It's some holes or whatever.
Same thing.
It's no big deal. I mean, you know, it's big rocks.
That helps.
I'm going to make sure everything is fine.
Nice and smooth.
>> [music] >> Nice and All right, guys. So, >> [music] >> I'm going to just keep going.
Put the pipes.
So, you I you see here right there. When I take it off, I would need to have to fill the uh trench.
So, there you go, guys. Thank you.
>> [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] >> Hey.
>> How you doing, guys?
So my day in about this job we done for today.
We put it back, you know.
And we compacted and stuff and everything.
And as you guys see this very 100 and 10% different.
So smooth pitching like a inch and a half like I said.
And I'm going to see if the owner want to decide to do the steps because he don't like that.
It's all rotted and stuff, the wood, you know.
And over there upstairs.
I have to come back tomorrow. My son is got this to do tomorrow, so I'll be myself by myself tomorrow.
Thank you very much, guys, and uh see you later. See you. Bye.
