Weather patterns transition from cooler, unsettled conditions with increased cloud cover and isolated showers to warmer, seasonable temperatures as high pressure systems move in, with temperatures rising from the low-mid 70s to the 80s and 90s by the end of the week.

NYC warms through the week, near‑90 temps expectedHinzugefügt:
Yeah, pretty nice start to the day so far. On the cooler side, but we again, we got a lot of sunshine out there, so there's the silver lining, right? Uh 76 your high temperature today, so even though we're off to a cool start, we end up a lot warmer than we did yesterday.
We will end the day though, I think with more clouds, or at least through the afternoon, we'll see an increase in clouds, especially north and east of town. Otherwise though, it's a much, much nicer day than what we had yesterday. For tomorrow, 73° mix of sun and clouds again, and isolated shower chance. And then we're dry on Tuesday with more sunshine and seasonable temperatures in the mid-70s. So, here's the setup for today. Again, sunny and warm, clouds increase late as our next frontal boundary approaches. That'll pass through tonight. Again, it'll keep the temperatures maybe a degree or two cooler tomorrow, maybe even with a stray shower chance for the afternoon. Then for Tuesday, high pressure finally starts to slide in, so I think we see sunshine for the majority of the day with seasonable temperatures topping out in the mid-70s. Here's a look at Futurecast. Again, by the afternoon, 3:00, 4:00, 5:00, you'll notice a lot more cloudiness across Connecticut, and across Long Island, through the Hudson Valley, and then just a mix of sun and clouds from the city and points west across New Jersey. Should be dry, but can't rule out a stray shower across the East End. Overnight tonight, better shower chances across uh the Hudson Valley, Connecticut, and Long Island. I think we stay dry through New Jersey, maybe a spot shower for the city. Either way though, it's out of here by tomorrow morning. Lots of sunshine to start, lying on to mainly sunny skies through the afternoon. And again, there's that 20% or 30% shower chance through Connecticut into Long Island as we get to the afternoon. Otherwise, most of the area should stay dry. So, the current setup right now just has us in this cool I wouldn't call it an unsettled pattern, but a cool pattern overall. And when you've got that colder air aloft in the higher levels of the atmosphere, that creates instability. So, we've seen more clouds and off and on shower chances. As we get into the upcoming week, that slides north and east, warmer weather fills in behind, and temperatures go above normal. Again, we'll go from temperatures being at or just slightly below normal in the low to mid-70s to 80s and even 90s by the time we get towards the end of the week. So, for today across New Jersey, mid to upper 70s for a large part of the area. Some spots could flirt with 80, but I think everyone stays in the 70s today. Again, with sunshine going to a mix of sun and clouds by the afternoon. There's that 70 forecast. So, clouds arrive for the afternoon, 76 your high temperature. Just an isolated shower chance tomorrow, 73, sunny and mild, and 74 for Tuesday. Beautiful for Wednesday, my pick of the week is Thursday, sunny and 82. Could be a beach day on Friday with a chance for an isolated storm and summery weather by the start of next weekend.
