This video examines the tension between political ideology and practical governance outcomes, using Don Lemon's failed attempt to interview National Guardsmen at Union Station as a case study. The content highlights how political rhetoric often conflicts with lived community experiences, particularly regarding public safety and justice. A Baltimore resident whose husband was murdered in front of her home expressed support for military intervention to address crime, illustrating how political discourse can diverge from actual community needs. The video also references the 87% decrease in carjackings in DC following military deployment, questioning whether political principles should override practical safety outcomes.

Don Lemon ATTACKED by ANGRY SOLDIERS at MILITARY BASE TODAYAdded:
Donald Trump >> and this is Don Lemon and we're here visiting and we'd like to let her know that we your wife you can request interviewing our office.
>> Oh no, we're not bombarding this house and we're peacefully coming here to talk to you.
>> Yeah. American citizens. We didn't reach out to our communications.
>> And what's your name?
>> Can I get one, please?
>> What's your name?
>> I don't.
>> You don't.
>> Yeah, you work for the people of Northwest.
>> You know, you work for the American people. When you're selling, you come to the tax.
>> Yeah. Well, that's that's Don Lemon.
He's a journalist.
Mega hats on the thing.
>> All right, let's go.
>> All right, >> ladies and gentlemen. Don Lemon just got run off and it's only getting worse for him. He rolled up cameras hot on Marjgery Taylor Green's turf, tried lecturing a soldier with, "You work for the American people," and got shut down cold. The guy refused to give his name.
Lemon kept pushing, pretending he came very peacefully. It backfired on camera.
Now, here's the kicker. This is the same Don Lemon federal agents already arrested in Los Angeles, hit with civil rights charges over that Minnesota church ambush. One, two, he pleaded not guilty. Three, be honest. After today's stunt, what do the feds do next? You won't believe what's coming. Quick interruption. >> Take a look. So, we're in Union Station, and you guys, if you've been watching, you know, right behind you, this is where the members of the National Guard are station right here. Hi guys. How are you?
>> Hey, how are Are you guys feel How do you feel being here?
>> That's a great question.
>> To the state PAO's office. Thank you.
>> That's it.
>> You guys aren't talking.
>> Yeah, state PO, sir. I'm sorry.
>> All right. Thank you very much. Thank you very much.
>> Ladies and gentlemen, Don Lemon walked up to soldiers and got nothing. Okay, so let me set this up for you guys because if you haven't been following Don Lemon, the guy CNN fired, the guy who told us older women have an expiration date and then acted shocked when his own career did too. He's now running around on YouTube trying to recapture relevance.
And what he decided to do this week in his infinite wisdom was walk up to actual United States National Guardsmen at Union Station in Washington DC and try to get them to say on camera that they hate being there, that they hate Trump, that this whole deployment to clean up crime in our capital is some kind of fascist takeover. He wanted soldiers, you, your sons, your nephews, your neighbors, to break character on tape so he could clip it for his audience of 17 people. Here's what actually happened. State PAO, sir.
That's it. End of interaction. You guys see what that is? Those soldiers are trained. They're professionals. They're not going to vent their feelings to some washed up anchor with a microphone shoved in their face. PAO, public affairs office. That's the official channel. Go talk to them. And Don, bless his heart, just stands there like, "That's it. You're not going to cry on camera for me." He thought he was going to get a viral moment of dissent. He got polite, disciplined men doing their job.
And honestly, I love that for them because the message is, "We don't owe you our emotions, sir. We owe the country our service." Now, here's where it gets really good. Lemon then sits down with a guest and tries the old liberal playbook. Every big city is blue, so therefore, Trump's wrong to send troops in. Watch how this unravels in real time.
>> But listen to the places. Los Angeles, blue, right? Uh Chicago that he's saying he's going to send in.
>> Actually, Memphis is blue.
>> Blue.
>> Every every city.
>> Well, Tennessee is a red state. Okay.
>> But but Memphis is extremely blue. Okay.
But still, it's in a red state.
>> But you're using an example, but >> Okay. Well, it's fine. Let's just say Memphis. Uh um Baltimore. Blue.
>> Blue.
>> Yeah. So, >> name me a big city that's not blue.
>> Well, let me let me say something.
>> Well, there let me say something.
Listen, >> they're saying that has a crime problem.
>> Well, every city has crime problem city.
>> Jackson, Mississippi has crime. Every big city has a crime problem.
>> But that's actually my problem. If if you want to talk about addressing when you had a new mayor in New York and they clean up crime, everybody's happier.
>> Yeah.
>> Now, that that happened to be a Republican then, too. I think you're making a very good point.
>> Did you guys catch that? Memphis is blue, but it's in a red state. Okay. So, wait, hold on. Let me think about this out loud. The argument from Don Lemon is that crime is happening in blue cities, so Republicans shouldn't get to fix it.
The cities Democrats have run for 50, 60, 70 straight years. Baltimore, Chicago, LA, Memphis city government.
They're drowning in murder, carjacking, smash and grabs. And Lemon's response is, "Don't you dare touch our cities."
It's like a guy who burned his house down, screaming at the fire department to stay off his lawn. And then, and this is the part that killed me, his own guest goes, "When New York got a Republican mayor, crime went down.
People were happier." And Lemon with a straight face goes, "I think you're making a good point." Brother, she's cooked you on your own show. But here's the part the legacy media will not show you. the part where the human reality of this finally cracks through Don Lemon's bubble. He goes to Baltimore. He talks to a woman on the street and what she tells him, "Ladies and gentlemen, I'm just going to let you hear it."
>> I think it would help some.
>> Why? So, >> um, coming from a family that was broken up, my husband was murdered two years ago and nothing was ever done.
>> Murder where? At home.
>> Mhm. Right out in front of our house.
>> Sorry.
>> It was a carjacking gone wrong and they shot him in his head. killed him instantly. So, but again, our lovely mayor didn't do nothing.
>> Did they ever find the perpetrator?
>> Nope.
>> So, you want to see it?
>> Yes. I want justice.
>> You want justice and you want to see You would like to see the troops here in the National?
>> Yes.
>> Thank you very much. I appreciate that.
And I'm sorry you had that experience.
The president said he wants to send troops here to Maryland. What do you think? Baltimore and to Maryland? Uh, I don't I don't I'm not opposed of it, >> right?
>> I think it'll be a good idea.
>> Why so?
>> Uh, maybe we can clean up some of this crime written neighborhoods.
>> Yeah.
>> You know, >> is the crime bad?
>> Very bad. Atrocious.
>> Husband shot in the head in front of their own house. Carjacking two years ago. And the mayor, quote, didn't do nothing. No arrest, no justice, nothing.
And you guys, I want you to really sit with this for a second. This is what Democrats have done to American cities.
Not abstractly, not on a chart. To her, to one woman in one neighborhood, in one Democrat-run city whose husband isn't coming home. And the political class, the people who claim, and this is what gets me, the people who claim they care about black communities, who lecture the rest of us every four years about how only they understand the struggle. They let that woman's husband bleed out in the street and didn't lift a finger.
They talk diversity. They practice contempt. They use these communities for votes and then leave them to rot. And here's a black woman in Baltimore telling Don Lemon on his own camera, "Send the troops. Send them. I want justice." And Don, I have to give him a half point of credit here. He doesn't argue with her. He can't. There's nothing to say. Because the lived reality of his own ideology just punched him in the face. Now, after all that, after the soldiers, after his own guest, after the widow, you'd think Don Lemon would maybe, I don't know, reconsider a few things. Nope. Here's where he lands.
Trump brags about the 87% decrease in carjackings in DC since the troops moved in. Yes, military states can reduce crime. Point conceded. Will militarizing our cities make them safer? Yes, but not safer for democracy.
>> I was just elected and I was faced with the decision whether TO HAVE AN ABORTION OR NOT AND I CHOSE TO HAVE AN ABORTION. I WALKED PROUDLY INTO PLANNED PARENTHOOD >> and I make no apologies TO ANYONE.
TO NO ONE.
>> YOU guys hear that? Point conceited, but not safer for democracy. Let me translate this for you because this is the entire Democrat worldview compressed into one sentence. He admits, he literally admits that carjackings in DC dropped 87% since Trump sent the guard in. 87%. That's massive. That is not a rounding error. That is hundreds of working families who didn't get yanked out of their car at a stoplight this year. And his response is, "Yeah, but democracy, sir, the lady in Baltimore whose husband got shot in the head, what part of democracy was working for her?
Was it the mayor who did nothing? Was it the prosecutor who never charged anyone?
Was it the city council passing resolutions while bodies stacked up? You cannot tell a widow her husband's killer walks free because we needed to protect democracy from the National Guard standing in Union Station." It's a bumper sticker. And it's a bumper sticker written by people who live in gated communities, who have private security, who have never once had to worry about their car at a red light.
Ladies and gentlemen, nobody, and I mean nobody, was when was willing to touch this problem until Donald Trump came along. Not the mayors, not the governors, not the Department of Justice under Biden. They watched American cities burn for years and called it justice. Trump shows up, sends the guard, crime drops 87%, and the response from people like Don Lemon is to ambush soldiers at a train station, hoping one of them will cry. Will it last? Will it spread to Baltimore, to Chicago, to Memphis? I don't know. Do I trust the system to follow through? Honestly, no.
Hell no. Who am I kidding? But for the first time in a long time, somebody actually tried. And a woman in Baltimore got to say the word justice out loud and mean it. And maybe that has to matter.
Thank you all very much for watching.
