And another thing is actually the funny part was the cost caps didn't even spend because it wasn't going to deliver me results at the number I wanted to. That's what cost caps do, you know? If you set a number and they can't deliver the results, then it's not going to deliver it. And also apparently Facebook went down for like a few hours yesterday as well, but by that time my bots already turned off the Facebook ads. So, uh yeah, we'll see what happens today. It's currently 8:00 p.m. here, so that means it's around like 7:00 a.m. in New York time. We're going to see if we're profitable. Uh as of right now, we are profitable by $79.

You can do literally whatever you want. And it's just so crazy because I don't know, without dropshipping I don't even know where I'd be right now. So, like I said, shout out dropshipping, shout out AI because without AI I would literally be on my laptop every 5 minutes like checking ads and especially with what's going on right now with the war and stuff like that. You know, it's going to be hard to actually navigate without AI, but well, dropshipping also provides with points.

All my flights are free and that's only possible because of the ad spend that we use to get points and credit cards. So, bro, like what is a better combination? [00:11:08]Everybody left my room because it's currently 12:00 a.m. And remember when I was at the restaurant and I believe it was around 7:00 a.m. or 6:00 a.m., I forget. We were actually profitable only like I think 100 bucks and the day before, which is yesterday, we were actually unprofitable for $1,000 because of the whole war going on and Facebook was down for a few hours and a bunch of stuff went wrong, but you know, we stopped the bleeding early because like I said, the AI caught it and whatnot, but we are currently at 11:00 a.m. in New York time. We are currently at $3,000 in profit. Now, that's really good because we still have the rest of the day to go. So, I believe when I wake up around 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., which is going to be, you know, 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. New York time, it should probably be anywhere between $5,000 to $6,000 in profit. So, we are so back. I mean, we did have a couple bad days because of the war and whatnot, but we are so back and I actually did get my 9:00 a.m. daily report on pretty much what the AI thinks I should do. And regardless of whether or not I say yes or no, the AI is going to do it anyways.

[00:12:07]Well, obviously, if I say no, the AI is not going to do it, but I usually do not say no unless it's a crazy nuance or whatnot. But, according to the AI, we should do 20% increases on five my campaigns today, which will make a total budget uh impact budget to be $3,284 per day. We have three campaigns that's going to do 15% budget increases at $509 a day, and we have one hold and zero decreases. So, right here is pretty much what the AI is going to do for me today to scale the ads back up because the ads actually de-scaled yesterday because AI thought that the performance is really, really bad, which it is true, but the nuance is that the whole war situation was going on and Facebook went down. So, the thing about AI is that not only is it automated, sometimes I do have to go in and tweak a little bit. I never accounted for Facebook disruptions, and I also never accounted for trending news that might affect the ad performance like a war. Like, who's going to predict a war is going to break out in, you know, the middle of my China trip. I did not even predict that. So, these things I still have to go ahead and put into the nuances. Now, I don't know how I'm going to do it. I might The next time that, you know, AI detects bad performance, maybe it'll do a couple of checks first before it actually decreases my budget. For example, it might check the trending news to see if anything major or venture happening that are affecting my performance because at the same time yesterday, while it was performing negatively and unprofitable, the AI assumed that these ads are no longer good. They assumed that these ads, you know, were fatigued and these ads would no longer convert. Even the AI strategy bot started figuring out new angles and new ways and new markets to hit. Even though we don't need that, it was just that one-off day because of the Facebook ad disruption and the war, obviously. So, you know, AI is not perfect and it never will be, but at least it can handle 80%, 90%, maybe even like 95% of the work and that to me is 100% freaking awesome. So, there we go.

[00:13:59]>> [music] [music] >> All right, good morning. Now, I don't even know if this is a good morning or not cuz some stuff happened while I was asleep. Uh number one, one of my ad accounts went down for one of the stores and, you know, usually it's pretty easy.

[00:14:22]I message the rep on Facebook. If they go ahead and check out the ad account, usually it's like an AI automation that kind of banned this, so they kind of revert it. The issue right now is that it is currently 8:29 p.m. over in New York while it's like 9:00 a.m. in China.

[00:14:34]So, they're obviously not working right now. So, do I want to waste 12 hours or maybe even an entire day of no ads or no sales? Probably not. So, I had to go ahead and re-upload all of our ads into another ad account at a way lower spend.

[00:14:47]And the reason why is because even though we are using the same pixel, we're using the same page, the same domain, even the same creatives, sometimes just changing the ad account is enough to kind of throw off the performance. So, I don't know if it'll perform the exact same on the ad account or not. That's why I have it at a way lower spend than what we currently have it at. That's number one, but that should get solved pretty soon. And number two, I just got hit with one of my ad accounts for Facebook is actually moving towards monthly invoicing, which means that all the credit card points that I was mentioning yesterday, the free travel, the free hotel, you know, the free car service, all that stuff, might not no longer be a thing. I don't know. We'll see. I think it's only affecting the bigger advertisers right now, the ones that have their BMs verified with US LLCs, and the ones spending upwards of like 500k to a million dollars a month. All my smaller ad accounts right now are perfectly fine. They're still using credit cards.

[00:15:38]So, maybe it'll be a small rollout. I don't know yet. So, number two, even though I can't really do anything about it, it just kind of sucks that the main ad account that can no longer like credit card points. Number three, I just had to go ahead and actually wire my supplier 20k for the next two days or so, just in case I'm not available or the internet's bad here, you know, just in case. Because my supplier was saying that we're almost out of stock, so I want to go ahead and stock up a few more before we actually end up out of stock.

[00:16:01]And, you know, like I said yesterday, you know, AI is amazing. It could do like 80% to 90% of the work, but that still last 10% is what I still have to do right now. And I don't mind doing the last 10% even though it might seem like I was doing a lot of work, it took maybe 30 minutes out of my day or out of my morning. And, yeah, like there's some things that I still haven't outsourced yet. Number one is media buying. Yes, I do have AI automations that help with media buying, killing ads, scaling ads, turning on ads, coming up with new strategies. Yes, that is correct, but the actual media buying itself is still on me. I'm the one still controlling the AI and kind of modifying it to tell it what to do. So, that's still on me. And the second thing that's still on me is currently the financial side of things, you know, I'm the one still paying payroll. I'm the one still paying off the credit cards. I'm the one still paying suppliers. I just personally don't mind paying. It takes like a few minutes max, and I like to know what's going in and out of my account as well.

[00:16:51]So, those are the only two things that I haven't outsourced with dropshipping yet, and that's pretty much what I had to do today was media buying and paying financials. And, I mean, that's pretty much it. Also, I guess it's a pretty good morning cuz I did get deposits from Shopify, 21k, as well as 61k.

The healthcare here is actually insane, and everything was so cheap. The MRI was like 100 bucks. The most expensive thing was the medicine. I think the medicine was around a few hundred, but an MRI cost like $2,000 to $4,000 in the US, so I'm happy either way.

But, at the same time, apparently, I also can't eat lamb and pork, either. Not because I'm allergic to them, but because it gets cross-contaminated at a majority of restaurants when they cook it because they use the same pan, they use the same oil. For example, I can't eat McDonald's fries because it's cooked in beef oil. So, like, what the [ __ ] am I supposed to do now? Like, it's actually insane. But, like I said, I want to be more grateful. So, like, I realized I mean, I am pretty grateful now because I could have died anytime within the last few years where I kind of ignored this allergy until it got really, really bad. And now, I visited the hospital, and I literally could have went into [ __ ] I don't know what's the word, like, anaphylactic shock, and I could have died. I don't have an EpiPen on me. So, I could have died within the last year, and I wouldn't have even known. So, thank God for that that I know about it now, so I can take precautions in the future. And I'm not going to lie, I'm getting a little weight anyways, you know, I'm getting a little weight right here. I'm a little chubby, so I think not eating beef and not eating McDonald's french fries will do good for me in the long term. So, at the end of the day, like I said, I'm generally like a positive, uplifting person, a funny person. So, I'm sure the group chat's going to make a bunch of jokes saying I can't eat beef and whatnot. And you know, I wouldn't have it any other way, you know? [00:30:15]>> [music] >> So, it is currently the next morning and I feel like it didn't really hit me until yesterday night and I've had a lot of time to kind of think to myself, but yesterday night was when we were at the night market was kind of when I really felt like, "Oh, wow. This is really going to impact my life, right?" In the food market, I couldn't eat anything. I ate tofu and I ate oysters or I ate clams. And that was like [music] the max of what I can eat there. I couldn't eat any fried rice that had meat in it. I couldn't eat any other red meat. I couldn't eat xiaolongbao. I couldn't eat my favorite food, dumplings. So, yeah, it's kind of settling in, but I also realized it also impacts not only my life, but my friends' lives, right?

[00:30:54]Because the entire time we're looking for food, they had to be conscious of my allergy to [ __ ] beef. Like, what?

[00:31:01]Like, all we do is eat beef. So, it's like, you know, we had to be conscious of that and we couldn't find any restaurants that didn't serve like non-beef related things. So, we had to hit the night market, which like I said impacted the itinerary a little bit.

[00:31:13]But, you know, still staying positive. I feel like it's not like the end of the world. First of all, first things first, we probably have to do some more tests at the hospital, so it's not confirmed that beef is the thing that flares up my allergy. The reason why I can't eat beef is because, well, I'm allergic to it, but it's like it might be the cause of what flares up my anaphylactic shock. I haven't had one yet, but it could happen. It That's why I went to the hospital and I don't want it to go do that. I'd rather just not eat beef, obviously. But, yeah, that was one thing I'd test for. There may be other things that's causing my allergy and it might not be beef. So, we'll see. We still have more tests to go. I'm pretty sure it is beef though cuz after looking back, like every time I eat beef, that's when my allergy starts flaring up and I feel like my throat's about to close, but it probably is, but let's go ahead and do more tests and be optimistic about that. And talking about being optimistic, I feel like a lot of successful people when bad things happen to them, whether it's a health problem, whether it's a business problem, whether it's anything in life, they kind of do something called a reframing and I've been doing a lot of that without even thinking about it. Like, reframing is kind of like thinking of or trying to be grateful, right? Of of what happened. If I remember what Alex Hormozi once said is that, I believe his dog passed away and it was like a really early age.

[00:32:24]Maybe it was like 2 years old or 3 years old. And I remember he said something along the lines of, well, I reframed my mind to believe that maybe dogs only were supposed to live for a year, but I got to live with mine for 2 to 3 years, so it's actually better than average. Is it a delusional? Yes, it is. But, you know, you can't control some of these things. So, kind of and your brain is honestly the most important thing that you have, which I am grateful for as well because when I got the MRI results back from my brain, I was completely normal. So, my migraines aren't related to anything that needs require surgery and I haven't had a migraine ever since the medicine. So, we're good to go on that. I'm grateful for that at least.

[00:32:58]So, yeah, I'm reframing a lot, you know, I'm like, oh, maybe I traded off a normal brain so I can't eat meat. Like it sounds so stupid, but like, you know, I was talking to Danny about this and we used to come up with these crazy scenarios. Like, yo, a million dollars or you can't add sauce to any of your food. Like no sauce for the rest of your life. And these scenarios and Danny's like, yo, what if you just pick a scenario where you have an amazing life, you're financially free, you have amazing group of friends, but the only thing in your life is that you can't eat meat. And he's like, well, a lot of people would take that scenario. And I'm like, that's true. So, you know, still trying to stay positive right here and trying to reframe it to where it seems more optimistic and more positive. Like I said, a lot of it just comes back to being grateful. So, yeah, we'll we'll see how today goes, but with the change of a lot of my itinerary because now I literally can't eat [ __ ] beef, bro.

Like you could not even have an itinerary in China, you kind of just walk around. And as far as I'm concerned, I've never really hit like a dead zone where there's like nobody around, or I've never really hit like a an area where there's like no one walking, or no restaurants, or anything like that. Like I could probably walk any direction 2 miles any direction, and it would just be straight up like restaurants everywhere, food everywhere, people everywhere, things to do everywhere, malls everywhere. I've been to so many malls at this point, they're all starting to look similar to each other.

I really really wanted to tip that lady cuz she was so nice, and she kind of reminded me of my mom or my grandma. But, she made us some stinky tofu. If you don't know what this is, it's in his name, but it's basically just tofu that smells really really bad.

It tastes good cuz they put in all sorts of like sauces and oils and whatnot. And as you guys know, I'm like vegetarian now, so I had to eat like tofu. But, one thing that I noticed that was pretty interesting was on the way back to the hotel our cab driver asked us where we were from and we told him that we were from the US and in the podcast I was reporting in I mentioned that people in China doesn't really care if you're from the US. They don't have any questions after that. Oh, you're from the US?

[00:44:21]Cool. But every other country I've been to, if you say you're from the US have mad questions. Oh, is it better in the US? Is making money easier? I don't know, like just generic stuff about your country. In China they do not care if you're from the US. If anything they think the US is below them cuz the cab driver was telling us like oh, why you guys in the US? Isn't it so easy to get shot there or robbed there? Or like I heard the news that there's like mad like homeless people there and we were like, yeah, that's true. And he was like, oh, like did your parents move to the US and that's why you're in the US?

And he was saying like, oh, I assume that your parents regret it now, regret moving to the US now and they wish they could come back to China cuz he was mentioning, well, he's very patriotic towards China obviously, it's his country. He was saying China is way cleaner, more safer, cities are more beautiful, more things to do here and he was like maybe like ask like 20 years ago US was the right move but now China is literally on top of everything. From my trip here I've seen that it's it's it's mainly true. Of course there are some things I can't tell like the work culture or the life culture or what locals are actually doing. Obviously I'm really only in tourist areas but I will say it's mainly true what he's saying and it's just so crazy to me that the locals here don't even think the US is a top tier country anymore like at all.

If you have enough money you can buy a citizenship in the US but apparently in China if you have a US passport you cannot get a Chinese citizenship at all. Now, I wanted to fact check that. Apparently you can get a Chinese citizenship but it's really really hard. I think in the last 10 years only like a thousand people have gotten it. And yeah, that's that's basically a nothing. It's probably like less than 1% of the entire population.
