The HBO Harry Potter series has faced several challenges including the dilemma of releasing the first episode at midnight US time (5:00 AM UK time) on Christmas Day, which conflicts with the King's Speech and creates scheduling difficulties for parents, as well as the recent casting of Sienna Musa as Lavender Brown, which has generated positive fan reactions.

Harry Potter HBO Series: Actress Reaction to Lavender Brown Casting!Added:
Welcome back to the channel, guys. As always, thanks so much for being here, clicking on this video, and joining me as we dive back into the wizarding world. I hope you guys have been having a fantastic weekend as well. Whatever you've been up to, it is officially Sunday. We've been experiencing a bit of a heat wave here in the UK. It's been hot beyond belief this weekend. My local beach has been absolutely jam-packed with people, but it's a beautiful site to see people out and about and enjoying themselves. But anyway, that's neither here nor there. Let's jump into what we're here for. Let's get back into this Wizarding World news. Okay, so up first in today's video, uh, Sienna Musa shared a video of the moment she found out she got the role of Lavender Brown in the Harry Potter TV series. Uh, quote, "It's one whole year since I heard the best news of my life. What an incredible year it's been. P.S. It's Wingardium Leviosa.
Dad, I kind of love that." And we have this really really wholesome video here of uh of Sienna Musa finding out that she got the role of Lavender Brown. And this is just really really charming, wholesome.
You can't help but have a smile on your heart when you see this kind of stuff.
So, let's play this video and uh let's check this out here.
No.
Oh my god.
Livioso. What is it?
See, that is the power of the Harry Potter franchise right there. If you wanted to sum up why this franchise is so great right there, that's the amount of that's the amount of power that this franchise gives to people in terms of uh in terms of like joy. Yeah. Right there on that little girl's face getting the role of a lifetime being cast as Lavender Brown. Just like the joy and you know her future prospects and you know not only the joy that it's gave to her by giving her that role, but the joy that it's given to us by seeing that video. You see what I mean? Like it's just the power of the Harry Potter franchise just has no bounds as far as I'm concerned. And that video kind of sums it up right there. And it's kind of hard not to get emotional kind of talking about it because again, as a fan, it's just, you know, the overwhelming kind of wholesomeness and the power of the franchise and what it produces and what it gives to people absolutely cannot be understated. But anyway, before I get too emotional about all that, let's uh let's move on to the next uh story. Anyway, guys, but let me know what you think about that. What do you think about Sienna Musa here being cast as Lavender Brown? Are you looking forward to her fulfilling that role?
Whatever your thoughts are, jump down into the comment section, guys. Okay, moving on to our next story here. So, from Universal Harry Potter and uh translated from Portuguese, HBO Max Bosses face a real dilemma over what time the Harry Potter series will premiere on the streaming platform on Christmas. An internal source stated, quote, "If they release the show at midnight in the US, they'll probably release it at 5:00 a.m. in the UK." Uh, both scenarios would be a nightmare for parents who want their kids in bed before uh midnight on Christmas Eve, and we've already uh dread them waking up too early on Christmas Day.
Yeah. I mean, this is the thing, isn't it? because of the because of the time delay between the US and the UK, how do you do a release, a proper release of this first episode? I mean, what time do you debut it? You can't have a staggered release where you would have, you know, you would show it in the UK and then several hours later show it in the US because if you do that, obviously all the people who see it in the UK or the rest of Europe. Um, all of the reviews and spoilers and everything. Even though when I say spoilers, I don't mean spoilers in the normal sense because we already know what happens in the story, but I mean spoilers in terms of, you know, all of the things that will be included in the first episode. If you have it released in the UK before the US or anywhere else, um people are going to be uploading spoilers, reviews, um you know, images, all that kind of stuff, then everyone in the US is going to have it spoiled. Um so it's kind of like it's kind of difficult. I mean, how do you do the release? Do you have it staggered?
Do you have them at two different times?
Do you release the episode at the same time, but then because of the time difference, like it says here, it would release at 5:00 a.m. in the UK, um and then it would release at a different time in the US. I mean, it is a bit of a problem and a dilemma and it's going to be interesting to see. You know, when a game is usually released and then um you know, they usually put up a picture of a map of the world and then it shows you all the different time zones of the diff like different countries of the world and it shows you what time the game's going to release like um it will probably do something like that before we get to the first episode. They'll release a map of the world. Then they'll say like North America, South America, Europe, um you know, Asia, and then it will give like the different times um on Christmas of when it's going to release.
Even though it's the same exact time because of the time zones, it looks different. That's what I mean. But that's probably um how they're going to do it. But it's going to be interesting.
What do you think about this? Do you think they're going to, you know, release the same, you know, release the episode at the same time, uh across different multiple countries, or are they going to stagger the release for different times in different countries?
Um, it's going to be interesting to see how that works cuz again cuz of spoilers, cuz of people reviewing it, posting up images, talking about it. How exactly do you do it? I'm not exactly sure what the answer is, but I would love to know what you think. So again, a dilemma over what time to release the uh first episode. If they release the show at midnight in the US, they'll probably release it at 5:00 a.m. in the UK. So again, I mean, how are they going to do that? Let me know what you think. If you was in charge of releasing the Harry Potter, the first Harry Potter episode, do you release it at the same time everywhere? Do you release it at different times in different countries?
You know, I would love to know what you think. So, jump down in the comments section. Let me know how you would handle the release of that first episode. Okay, moving on to something uh again, we're still talking about the Harry Potter show, but moving on to something slightly different and slightly kind of interesting nonetheless. So, we just talked about how they're going to release the first episode in terms of the time that they're going to release it, but now we're talking about Harry Potter versus the King. This is the ultimate showdown.
if there ever was one. Harry Potter verse the king.
This is pretty cool. So, festive showdown. Christmas Day TV battle heats up as the launch of the new Harry Potter series set to clash with the king's speech.
I just got this image in my head of Harry Potter and the King. You know, wands verse crowns.
Pretty that would be a pretty cool spin-off actually. Um, you know, Harry Potter vers King Charles. So, let's just get into this quickly. So, the Harry Potter TV show may clash with the king's uh speech Christmas Day uh sparking a festive showdown. The eight-parter starring Dominic McLolin as Harry is set to prompt a huge rise in the HBO Max subscriptions. Absolutely. The amount of subscriptions they're going to get for the HBO service. That's if it's still around. Again, because of Paramount coming in and buying up Warner Brothers, Paramount have basically said that HBO Max would be no more. So, is Harry Potter going to end up on Paramount Plus? Are they going to make a brand new streaming service once Paramount takes over Warner Brothers? We just don't know. But at the moment, even though it says a huge rise in HBO Max, we still don't know if that HBO Max is going to exist when this show comes out. That's just going off on a side tangent, but yeah.
Okay. So, the streaming service confirmed Harry Potter and the Philosopher Stone based on JK Rrowling's book will launch December 25th, but has yet to say the exact time. So, an insider said HBO Max bosses face a real dilemma. And this kind of feeds into that story we were just talking about in the previous segment. So, yeah, HBO Max bosses uh face a real dilemma.
If they drop the show at midnight in the US, they would probably drop it at 5:00 a.m. in the UK. Both times would be a nightmare for parents who would either want their kids going to bed before midnight on Christmas Eve or already getting uh the dread of them getting up too early. And I'm sure for the parents out there who are watching this, their kids getting up too early on Christmas.
Um especially if you've had a few drinks the night before, you know, you don't want your kids getting up too early, so to speak. So the alternatives, the alternative is is that they drop it uh late morning in the US and midafter afternoon in the UK. It's going to be very difficult for parents to get their kids to switch off uh to watch The King's Speech at 3 p.m. if there is a clash. So, The Boy Wizard with weekly episodes is likely to be the most watched on Christmas Day. the first time traditional channels will have lost the festive ratings battle. HBO Max said release uh timing of the Harry Potter and the Philosopher Stone first episode has not yet been scheduled. So, it sounds like they haven't actually come to a definitive kind of timing for that first episode. But, I mean, it brings up an interesting point. I mean, a lot of people in this country are fanatical about the Royals. Regardless of what you think about the Royals, personally, I think the Royals are kind of overstayed their welcome. Um, I'm not saying that they shouldn't be here, but I think, you know, in this day and age having kings and monarchies and royals and I think it's a concept that's a little bit kind of past it sell by date personally. Um, but there's a lot of people in this country and uh, you know, if you're included in this, you know, people who are fanatical about the royals, who follow every little bit of their lives, who love the speeches, they love seeing them in interviews and on the news. So, I mean, a lot of people are going to be watching the king's speech. Um, so if that conflicts with the first episode of Harry Potter, I guess you could just watch the speech and then watch Harry Potter after. But I mean, the fact that they're going to be potentially clashing at the same time, um, it's it makes for an interesting conversation. So, you know, it is what it is. Um, like I say, a lot of people are fanatical about the royals and, um, as much as they're not for me, um, it is a thing that's very very big here in the UK and I know a lot of people in the US follow the royals as well. Um, but yeah, so what do you think about this guys? the festive showdown.
Crowns, crowns and wands, kings and wizards. You know, how do you think this is going to play out? It makes for interesting conversation nonetheless.
So, let me know what you think in the comment section about that story. We're going to be talking about this Harry Potter shop in Edinburgh that had a embarrassing blunder when it realized it had a misspelt sign on its storefront.
How this happens, I have no idea. How this passed quality control and it was up on the storefront for months before anyone even noticed it. And I'm just like, how does this even happen? So, let's get down. I'll show you a picture of the storefront as well with the misspelt sign. So, Harry Potter shop promising an I for quality drops a clanger with a spelling blunder. Yeah.
Could you even imagine? You're looking at this storefront and it says I for quality. And then you look above that and it's got a misspelt sign. I for quality misspelt sign. Isn't that the epitome of irony? Uh, saying you have an eye for quality in your store, but then misspelling the front store sign.
I love it so much. Okay, so let's go down. Let's take a look at the front of this store and the actual part that's misspelled.
So, taking a look at this image here, museum uh built context. Um, they're officially licensed to sell Harry Potter products. It says here at the top, retailer of officially licensed Harry Potter mechanis. Instead of it saying merchandised, it says mechandise. They they missed out the R on the sign. But how does this happen? So, the person who was applying cuz obviously the person who was applying the the letters to the storefront, did they not get to the word merchandise and they realized the R was left out and then tell the shop owner?
So, like if I was the person kind of putting up the signage and I realized, wait a minute, merchandise is misspelled. The wrong letters have been ordered. um how whoever the whoever delivered the sign, whoever is putting up the sign, however the sign is made in the in the you know the storefront when they realized it was wrong, the person who was putting it up, wouldn't you just go indoors and say to the owner, "By the way, um I think you uh misspelled the sign. I think you ordered the wrong letters. Um whoever's been putting this up or however it was made, um you know, it's not correct in it spelling, the grammar is wrong. Wouldn't you go and tell the shop owner? or wouldn't a member of the public have noticed it and contacted the shop owner? If I walked past a shop in the high street, right, and I saw, you know, say there was a shop uh selling books, but the word books was only spelled with one O. I would literally like I would feel kind of an obligation to go into the shop and just say, "Can I speak to the manager?
I'm just letting you know, by the way, the sign on the front of your uh shop is misspelled. I'm just letting you know."
Like, wouldn't a good Samaritan at least notify them? So, how did it go months and months and months without them knowing that the sign was spelled wrong?
I don't get it. Someone please tell me.
But anyway, let's get back into the story quickly and read a bit more details about it. So, the owners of the new Harry Potter shop in Edinburgh will be wishing they'd cast a quick spell uh spell check after the embarrassing typo was spotted on the shop front. And by the way, bravo to the person who wrote this. They'd wish they'd be wishing they cast a quick spell check. I kind of like that. So despite boasting an eye for quality in its window display, the wizarding store has mistakenly advertised its wares to passing muggles as mechanis uh the glaring emission of the letter R appears in the prominent lettering on the signage of the newly opened Museum of Context uh at the George Bridge which specializes in Harry Potter merchandise. So, situated along the Elephant House Cafe where JK Rowling wrote some of the material for the Harry Potter novels, it is the third shop of its kind in Edinburgh's old town. Uh, with the other two being in Victoria Street and Cockburn Street. Yeah, man.
These Harry Potter shops are popping up all over the place at this point. The UK is just going to be consumed. I mean, we've got the shambles here in England in York. I mean, that's growing with Harry Potter shops. You've got Edinburgh growing with Harry Potter shops. It's a good problem to have, though. It's a good problem to have. The more shops we get, the better. I want to see some Harry Potter shops in my local town.
It's not fair. We don't have any in my local town and we need one, but I would spend half my life there and I would probably spend half of my paycheck there as well. But yeah, there we go, guys.
So, how that was not, you know, figured out, I have no idea. Um, Edinburgh man Stuart Watkins, who provides walking tours for tourists in the city center, told Evening News he was surprised the shop had failed to pick up the spelling error. He said, "I took the photo on Thursday and went into the shop to let them know." Okay, so like I was saying, there is a good Samaritan who actually let the shop know. Um, I hope they have a spelling uh spell to correct it. I'd imagine they will fix it as soon as possible. Quite an amazing spelling error. The shop's owner, Andrew McKay, uh, McCrae, said he was aware of the error after local artist noticed it a few weeks ago. Um, he said it was up for months before anyone noticed. I had commissioned an artist, uh, Kirsty Jeffrey, and she noticed the error a few weeks ago. Uh, we were quite shocked that nobody noticed it, including us, with thousands of people walking past every day. So, the shop owner didn't notice it and none of the public noticed it for months. Like, I I find that hard to believe. I think, is he making that up? Is he telling fib? Is he telling a lie there? I don't know. But still, it's pretty interesting. Um, you know, you put this signage up, it passes quality control, whoever ordered the sign, and then the person who put it up as well.
It's there's something here that's not quite jelling, but to have that on the front of your shop when it says an eye for uh when it says an eye for quality is uh again, pretty ironic. But anyway, that's going to bring us to uh the end of this uh news cycle here. We do have a lot more news to get into. There will be another uh news video on the channel later today or tomorrow cuz the news cycle is pretty hot at the moment with Harry Potter topics, which is always a good problem to have. But guys, let me know, you know, what stands out to you here. So, a quick recap. Sienna Musha put out this video about her reaction to being cast as Lavender Brown. We had uh HBO HBO uh Max Bosses are kind of uh not sure when to release the first episode, the the exact time to release it because of the time difference between the US and the UK. We then have Wands and Crowns. We have Harry Potter verse the King uh the King's Speech on Christmas Day. That makes for interesting conversation. And again, the topic we just finished off with, the misspelt sign of the new Harry Potter shop in Edinburgh. So, whatever news stands out to you, jump down into the comment section, leave your thoughts, your comments, your theories, your opinions, your feedback, all that good stuff. I would love to hear what stands out to you and uh you know what you think of these new stories. So let me know like I say in the comment section. Thanks so much for being here guys and as always I will see you in the very next
