Wuhan's second mystical creature is called the ga mo shi, the what you are doing lion, because in Wuhan dialect, what are you up to is ga mo shi, and that word ga is everything. In Wuhan, you don't eat noodles, you ga a bowl. You don't date someone, you ga a partner. You don't play football, you ga a kick. You don't make money, you ga some cash. Ga just means do, handle, make happen. It's a verb that ate all the other verbs. But here's the thing, ga is a southern verb.
